Fun to play, frustrating and boring to complete. The plot (especially after the first act) is somewhat predictable but at the same time tangling ang confusing. But the delivery missions by themselves are interesting, each mission is with its own charm. Doing side quests is a waste of time because from all gadgets there are, only few are useful and the most useful ones are given by the plot. There's less gameplay and more watching cutscenes, so there comes a feeling that gameplay is drip feeded (at least how I felt it in the second act). Complete and forget, and get some achievements along the way. I bought it on sale. Definitely would not buy at full price, not worth it.

Really fun and even relaxing game. Base of the game and its story is like good old games from my childhood. Update: just passed the game. Really interesting story, beautiful world, and really interesting characters you can even attach to. I would never think a destruction driven delivery game would have so layered and interesting story characters and world. Love the 60s! Rate 11/10.

Deliver At All Costs est un jeu d’action arcade basé sur la destruction et le chaos, avec un concept simple mais efficace : livrer des colis peu importe les dégâts causés en chemin. Le gameplay est immédiat et amusant, surtout grâce à l’environnement destructible et aux missions souvent absurdes.

Les contrôles sont solides et la physique du jeu contribue beaucoup au côté spectaculaire. Chaque livraison devient rapidement une sorte de mini-catastrophe, ce qui donne lieu à des moments assez mémorables.

Cela dit, le jeu peut devenir répétitif après quelques heures. Les objectifs restent souvent similaires et la boucle de gameplay évolue assez peu. L’humour et la mise en scène aident à garder l’intérêt, mais ils ne suffisent pas toujours à renouveler l’expérience sur le long terme.

Au final, Deliver At All Costs est un bon jeu pour des sessions courtes et pour ceux qui aiment les jeux axés sur le chaos et la destruction. Une expérience divertissante, mais qui aurait gagné à proposer davantage de variété dans sa progression.

Verdict : Un bon jeu arcade amusant, mais qui peut lasser si on enchaîne trop de sessions.

I bought this game after seeing the trailer and playing the demo several times.
It was enjoyable, but I really wish they'd focused more on just doing whacky deliveries rather than the plot, which I didn't really care about and kind of took me out of the game. It also whisked me away from the various maps, and I didn't feel like I'd spent enough time in each city area delivering stuff.
I'd rather it was just the deliveries with no plot or story other than 'You work for a delivery company delivering whacky stuff' with a difficulty curve. The game doesn't really get any more challenging as time goes on.
Other reviews have commented that the upgrades are largely pointless, which I'd agree with.
If they make a sequel or DLC I'd probably still buy it because the missions are really fun.

Неплохая такая изометрическая сюжетная игрулька, где ты, в роли нового доставщика ездешь по городу, доставляешь всякую дичь и попадаешь в нелепые ситуации)

Тут в принципе нет Game Over'а - игра просто продолжится, если твой перс взорвётся или тебя поймает полиция, поэтому можно не беспокоиться ;)

Также можно прям въехать в разные дома и их разрушать, что прикольно и весело, препятствии прям жёстких нет, езди куда хочешь как хочешь)

Тут есть прикольные лицензионные треки, которые дают тебе вайб конца 50-х начала 60-х гг. Америки, а один есть даже в моём плейлисте, я очень удивился, что услышал в этой игре)

Насчёт сюжета, он пойдёт, для такой игры он не совсем важен и честно говоря, он больше мешает, чем как-то заинтересовывает тебя.
Да и доп. задания как-то разочаровали, мне кажется это просто искусственно растягивает игру, а в одном тебе заставляют разрушать ВСЕ ящики с деньгами, которые разбросаны по городу, благо есть карта с их расположением, но которую надо покупать отдельно. Извините, но столько времени я тратить не хочу :D

I've tried to play as much as I can of [b] Deliver at all Costs [/b] but it brings about terrible motion sickness for me and gives me a migraine. I won't let that cloud my judgement though because I understand that not everyone is affected in this way but if you can't go on roller coasters or throw up after going on one of those simulation rides then I would just be wary that the way this game is presented could cause nausea.

The problem is the camera view and the way the game depicts motion. I don't hate the camera view but it doesn't look natural. I understand that it is probably a good view for destroying environments and seeing this happen clearly, but it also brings about other issues like not being able to see far enough in front of you, or being able to see the direction arrows which guide you on your missions. I also had a little trouble steering the various vehicles because there is no inverting the controls so when I wanted to go left, it would go right and reversing was a pain too. It was a mild irritant throughout the game.

Apart from those issues I enjoyed the presentation of the game. It reminded me of L.A. Noire with its colourful graphics and 1950s infused retro atmosphere. Everything looks like that time period including costumes, scenery, and distinctive voice acting from that period. It is done really well and was an interesting place to explore which is what I liked the most about the experience. There was an interesting narrative running through the game which I found intriguing and mysterious and was keen to explore. Hopefully, I will be able to complete the game in small bursts.

The missions are a lot of fun with the main criteria being that the mission must be as zany and out there as possible. They will make you chuckle, but they are mostly quite brief and over too quickly, but there is the option to repeat any mission if you just want to try it again or gain some of the achievements attached to them. I guess they are repetitive because at the end of the day you are just delivering something from A to B but in a different vehicle and with different cargo, albeit probably something highly unusual. Sometimes, the cargo will change the handling of the car which makes it fun to wrestle the controls whilst you destroy scenery and knock innocent bystanders over. They will chase you down and push you over if they catch you which can result in a humerous handbags at ten paces kind of brawl. I particularly enjoyed pushing fishermen into the water. Even though the missions are similar in DNA I still enjoyed playing them and they have made an effort to make them as different as possible.

The voice acting and story was done quite well in a cheesy B movie kind of way but it managed to keep my interest and I wanted to know more. The characters are well defined and developed and it was a nice touch to have a decent story running through the game play.

I'm a fan of wacky, chaotic games and this was perfect for me. The cargo is unconventional and silly and requires a bit of strategy to complete the deliveries. You can crash into anything and anyone. I found the reactions of the local citizens to be hilarious. If you piss them off, they'll sabotage your truck which can cause delivery failures or physical violence against you. The game also includes a storyline to keep you engaged in the Winston's life. You can upgrade your delivery truck or steal (I mean borrow) parked cars. Definitely give the demo a try. I can confirm that the game is compatible with the Steam Deck.

At first I left a positive review, but after completing the game, I had to change it. The reason -- this game is not what is advertised. It's not a physics sandbox driving game. It's a fricking visual novel! Let me elaborate:

The story. I bet it's written by AI, because it's a ridiculous uninspired slop. It's incredibly boring and amateurish. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, such games are not made to be enjoyed for their story after all. But, the devs decided their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ script is a masterpiece, so they made this game to be a fricking movie, because 80% of it are custscenes and dialogues. And they just go on and on and on. Hideo Kojima got nothing on this game. You can't go a full minute before hitting another cutscene or a dialog. Don't get me wrong, I love Kojima, but this mess is hard to endure.

The driving and destructible environments are nice, but there's very little gameplay, because all you do in this game is watching boring-ass cutscenes. Not recommended.

Fun game with the right amount of challenge. Nothing too unbearable but if you'd really like a challenge, try to go each mission without dying once.

Storyline was okay to say the least. It wasn't bad, but I want to know more about a certain part of the story (no spoilers). Maybe this is a good tie-in to a sequel but I wasn't too shocked or in awe with the ending. My reaction was more like "That's it?"

The gameplay does make up for it! It was a lot of fun destroying everything I see in my path (let alone the angry pedestrians kicking your car after you run them over).

I've been really umming and ahhing about whether to recommend this game or not. Insert the usual comment about "I wish Steam had a medium rating" thing here. In the end, what made me not recommend the game is the price - for the amount of content and, frankly, fun I get out of the game, I'm not sure its worth the €30+ asking price.

I really like it conceptually - a driving based delivery game set in 1950's atomic age americana, with a light hearted plot. It has a lot of potential... which it fails to live up to, really.

For what its worth, the voice acting for main cutscenes is actually really good - its a shame that the voice acting for incidental characters is pretty bad. Speaking of cutscenes, all of the cutscenes just use the normal zoomed out isometric models for the main world, but with the camera zoomed in, so in a lot of cases when you're looking at a model up close it looks.. pretty bad. Its the sort of thing a game would normally try and avoid, but in thios case its front and centre.

You can customise and upgrade your car to have extra gadgets... but over half of them are fairly useless, with the remaining ones only existing so you can do mission specific tasks, like the Winch.

Its a game that you'll be spending most of the time driving around in, but the controls for the car are super floaty and the camera distance and fixed camera angles means you'll often be too zoomed in to be able to see where you're going at high speed - not helped by the fact that every other driver drives around at about 10mph.

You can cause chaos and knock over pedestrians and even buildings with a destructable environment... but considering that pedestrians only ever ragdoll and then get up and attack your car, and buildings have all the resistance to being driven through of wet cardboard, there's not really much point to the mayhem. The cops are said in the story to be on strike, which explains why you can get away with it, but also means there's really no consequences to driving like a maniac other than potentially knocking over a building you needed as part of a jumping puzzle.

Oddly enough, the Jumping puzzles are one of the positives in the game - it has a LOT of collectable crats you can find, and some pretty intricate setups to get to some of them. But the reward for them is either parts for the aforementioned useless upgrades, or money. You can spend the money in the shop to buy parts, making that collectathon element useless, or blueprints you can get for free by doing side quests in case you hate doing content, I guess. But even after buying all the non-repeating elements in the shop I found myself with literally thousands of dollars left over, so there's not really any point to doing it other than "number goes up"

You can find "secret cars" scattered around the various levels like tractors or ice-cream trucks, and even buy a bike from the store, but its not like they unlock in a garage or anything - if you want to drive them again you just have to go back to where you found them and steal them again, and all the cars other than the default Company Truck have terrible durability, so there's not really any point in doing so other than the novelty of driving around in something new.

Oh, and earlier when I mentioned the voice acting - I'm pretty sure the radio ads are AI-generated voices. They're all read by the same guy with this sort of mid-atlantic accent like you'd hear on 50's radio, but his enunciation and general cadence is really off and his voice is fairly flat, so either he's AI generated or just could do with a few more takes there. Either way, when I hear an ad between the nice-but-generic 50's surf rock it makes me want to tune out rather than listen up.

The story is fun, for what it is - mysterious government agencies and coverups in the background of a "better living through science" optimism - but there's also not a lot of it. Honestly, the whole game seems like the creator made their own 1950's/60's sandbox world with a physics engine... and then wasn't sure what to put in it, so put the skeleton of a game in before calling it done. You'll probably enjoy the game, but in the same way you enjoy a Twinkie. Its nice enough, but you'd prefer something a bit more lovingly crafted.

If the game is on sale, you can do worse by buying it. Otherwise, if you're looking for something meatier in the same genre look for something like American Fugitive (or, if anyone has any other suggestions, do comment below! I'm curious if there's any other games like this other than the old-school top-down GTA's)

Всем советую этот недооценённый шедевр! У игры много возможностей и создатель аж Каноми!!!! Обязательно скачайте русификатор и читы на Зум камеры, что бы у вас не было проблем с прохождением! Это игра выглядит как Форсаж в 90е! Очень крутые повреждения зданий и авто! Миссии сюжетные и Дополнительные зделаны очень круто и кинематографично! Сюжет интересный и затягивающий. В игре так же присутствуют всякие активности которые не дадут вам заскучать в открытом мире - поиск секретных машин, сундуков и коробок с наличкой! Очень крутая игра как Реклесс Гэтевэй, только тут больше разрушаемости как в каком-нибуть Террдауне и прочем...

Gameplay is very fun and environments are amazing, however for a worldbuilding game the settings are there but the story is lacking. Everything is perfect until the ending, instead of a proper ending the game ends on a very vague cliffhanger. Im not sure if this is going to be explained in a possible sequel or if the story is just never going to be finished. Nevertheless if you were interested in this game for the visuals and story then I still highly recommend it because it delivers perfectly.

This game scratches an itch that covers when I'm not quite in the mood for Grand Theft Auto but also want to relax after work and destroy things, also, for me in my 40's the atmosphere reminds me of 1980's Orland Florida so its hits all the spots, play the demo as I did and if you fall in love buy on sale. 8/10

This game would be 3x more fun if they allow gta2-like view because destruction is the most fun part of this game and it would be good to see where the f I am going. Allowing only 2 views from side is ridiculous and annoying as hell. Also cutscenes are so slow-paced and low quality, I cannot believe we still have games so not interested in creating atmosphere these days. This game has cool physics that could be really fun but much was done for this to not happen.

Es un juego chorra que se salva por pertenecer a un género todavía sin mucha presencia que es el de los juegos de físicas. No tiene mucha competencia.

La historia es rara y con cero personalización, hay mejoras para el vehículo pero totalmente guionizadas, al poco se te hace muy repetitivo.
Creo que de haber hecho un sandbox el resultado hubiera sido mucho mejor pero eso es otro juego.

This was a lot of fun and there is a bit of replayability but the story is all over the place.

I wish that the zaniness of the game was reflected in the central story more. Instead the main character just seems angry all the time and the other characters are just sort of there to keep him mad with little payoff. The overarching plot and the ultimate macguffin feel out of left field which is really saying something when there is a story mission about collecting evidence of UFOs while dodging lasers in your beloved flatbed.

I wish that some of the mission specific gadgets were available in free roam. There is a mission where you get an out of control balloon dispenser that lowers your gravity but you can only get it in the mission. You can still cause a lot of chaos with the other gadgets that you have, but a lot of the fun gets roped off in the missions.

I'd also love for there to be more side content that used the world more. Like if the UFO was out randomly blasting the city every now and then and you could attack it or extra volcano eruptions or if you could do like random deliveries that aren't story related.

The camera is sometimes infuriating. It's fixed-angle and you can only rotate it 90 degrees when the game allows you to. That's 90 degrees total, I don't mean you can rotate 360 and be back where you started, I mean the camera can face East or you can rotate it to face West with no in between. This makes finding certain obscured objects a bit frustrating. You also can't zoom out freely which makes driving hard sometimes. When you are walking it's very zoomed in, and it will zoom out slightly while you are driving and then further to show off certain landmarks but you can't control it. I don't mind the fixed angle camera, but you should be able to rotate freely and have a few levels of zoom.

I'm sure I'll 100% it eventually, but the game left me wanting more. The ability to easily replay missions is nice, but I wish replaying felt more diegetic. It feels a bit like a 3D Retro City Rampage.

Очень жаль, что только 10% купивших игру прошли ее до конца (согласно статистике Стима).
Эта игра заслуживает большой обзор.

На первый взгляд - это игра про одну механику: полная разрушаемость уровня. Ездите на машине, врезаетесь, разрушаете, получаете удовольствие от наблюдения за разваливающимися деталями.
Все купившие игру это увидели, им понравилось, поставили игре лайк и пошли играть во что-то другое, типа Конт Страйка своего. А зря.

Вначале игры смешные диалоги и миссии. Нелепые и курьезные ситуации в сюжете дополняются полным разрушением уровней.
КАЖДАЯ МИССИЯ ДОПОЛНЯЕТ ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ. Скучно не будет. Начало игры - доставить феерверки, которые начинают запускаться и отрывать колеса машинам.

В игре много катсцен, много диалогов. Какая-то таинственность и загадочность. Кто-то следит за главным героем.
В сюжете появляется драма. режиссерская работа видна при катсценах.
Герои раскрывают свой характер, цели и убеждения. Это все еще плоские герои с одной целью в жизни, однобоким поведением, но они есть и это уже больше, чем в большинстве игр. Это даже больше, чем требовалось бы игре для успеха. Большинство игроков не дошли, не раскрыли сюжетные повороты, сценарную работу, режиссерскую работу (когда в кадре появляются намекающие детали на истинные мысли героев), а уже поставили игре положительные отзывы.

Здесь в общих чертах сюжет, и мои наблюдения, если вы все равно проходить игру не будете:
[spoiler] Вас ждут инопланетяне. Тайные агенты. Перемещения во времени. Не разгаданные тайны, как смерть персонажа изъявшего дневник главного героя. Отсылки к детству героя и его взрослению. Символизм: глаза лисы, которую должен был убить герой появляются у него самого на пару секунд. Символизм - лиса. Отличная, для игры, режиссерская работа. Артефакты инопланетян. Загадки. Дружба, преданность, раздражение, отстраненность... - у каждого героя есть ярко выраженная черта характера, которая определяет его поведение в игре. В конце игра вообще отдаленно Графа Монте Кристу напоминает с выдачей себя за разных людей, работой на них, чтобы в конце всех наказать и разрушить их империю. В конце игры даже ход повествования меняется, где перемешивается реальность с прошлым, где мы играем как раз в прошлом, а наши поступки описывают в реальности в зале суда. А начиналось с доставки феерверков и гнилых арбузов и веселья. [/spoiler]

Но как будто игре не хватило места, чтобы раскрыть героев больше и лучше. Она как будто хотела быть сразу и фильмом со смыслом и игрой про бездумную езду и разрушение. Сценарий и геймплей контрастируют. Как будто было два сценариста: первый писал первую часть игры, а потом появился второй, мечтающий стать сценаристом фильмов и написал слишком сложную историю, которая до конца не помещается в рамки такой игры с таким геймплеем. Полно мелких деталей, изменений в окружении. Например, в одной из миссий появляется знакомый второстепенный персонаж с шапочкой из фольги.

While this game isn't a flashy cut-scene heavy AAAA game, it is really fun to play. Its fun driving mechanics are more arcade-y than true driving sims, I haven't had this itch scratched properly since Burnout Crash. Its a perfect-length game for a jump on and play occasionally place.

the voice acting - a few of them tried, a few of them are total cringe.
a few of them have clearly not understood the job given. or had no job description.
it all feels unnatural and forced, especially the emotional stuff.
(but at least the line delivery is better and livelier than the overall "story" writing!)

WTF guys - this game had great intentions, its a fresh breeze, but it lacks lacks lacks. this didnt go ALL the way when it could have. that said: i encountered gamebreaking bugs, you need to reload to get on with the "story". so theres that too. some of the missions are just dumb and counterintuitive. it just didnt go all the way with the destruction and the wildness. the heavy focus on the nonsensical story takes out the "action" greatly.

boring and tedious with missions that are creative but frustrating. add to that that when i last played i clicked save and exit, but it didn't save when it exited. i went to play again and found that i am like 3 or 4 boring, tedious missions behind where i was when i quit. it literally saved the achievements i got from completing those missions, but it didn't save that i completed the mission. i normally don't request refunds, but ♥♥♥♥ this game. refunded.

also, if your game is going to use a LOT of closeups during dialog scenes, you should probably make sure their mouths even remotely match the words they're speaking. seriously. half-life 1 did a better job in 1998 than this game does in 2025. the game feels like early access... but it isn't.

I'm... I'm just confused?

Like, I got my money's worth. The wacky delivery missions are fun. The handling of the vehicles is fun. The ragdolling and destruction is fun. But... What is up with this story?

You'd expect the zany delivery missions to be where this game's meat is at, and where it excels. And they are fun! But the entire experience is kind of bogged down by a completely nonsensical story. This is a game where missions involve dragging a spherical bomb shelter around like a comically oversized wrecking ball, leaving destruction and chaos in your wake. But during the story you might have a heart-to-heart with your boss about how his wife died in a car accident.

It's a game where during gameplay you might get pelted with explosives during a delivery and it's supposed to be a cartoony funny misunderstanding and it's not supposed to be serious. But then in a later moment for story reasons you might get pelted with explosives and it actually [i]is[/i] supposed to be taken as a threat to your life.

It's a game where you have to deliver remote controlled toy cars by actually driving the toys themselves to their destination. But before that, you first have to do some mundane tasks, like commute to work and talk to your HR manager who just insults and disparages you. Oh, and after the day you'll have to commute back home of course.

I dunno. I enjoyed the story missions, but around the ending of the second act I felt like several different stories just got accidentally stitched together, and not in a tasteful way like in Split Fiction or something. Instead of actually bothering to explain what happened to you through gameplay, cutscenes or dialogue with characters, the game just kind of... Loredumps what happened between acts 2 and 3 on a giant mind map? And after act 3 it just... Ends and leaves the player with more questions than answers?

Regardless, the entire game had me wondering that something occurred during the development of the game that made the devs push the game prematurely. There's several mechanics in the game that are... Undercooked, shall we say? Like, there's actually a lot of potential content here, but a ton of this content is barely used at all for some reason?

- The protagonist can buy a bicycle which sits there at their house, but... Since there's always a car at your house, you can summon it from basically any location and you can enter any parked car you want, you don't really need the bicycle?

- You have a "Carry" slot for your character that implies they can carry something on their person like a tool or a weapon, but throughout the entire game I genuinely never found an object for this slot that could be used in a story mission?

- Apparently only in the final third of the game, you're taught that there's actually a police mechanic where police will show up if you cause enough mayhem, and you can hide in dumpsters to avoid them. But aside from encounters that seemed scripted, I genuinely never triggered these police chases despite driving like a maniac?

- There's "secret" cars hidden around the maps, but there seems to be no purpose for searching these vehicles out? They don't seem to serve any gameplay purpose other than being just cars, and since most missions require you to use your company car anyways, you can't use these in most occasions.

- You can equip your company car with various gadgets, but the point of some eludes me. Early on I created a gadget that allowed me to open the doors and hood of the car with the press of a button, but I genuinely don't know what I should've used this for?

- Perhaps most baffling of all: the game has a grand total of three different fleshed out city maps, but you only play a limited amount of missions in each map. There's [i]so much[/i] space on these maps that goes entirely unused by i.e. side missions! Why was so much effort put into creating these maps if the game is going to ignore most of it? The only reason you'd explore the maps is to find money crates, parts to craft gadgets, secret cars and side encounters, but (1) the money is just used to buy gadget blueprints, (2) the parts are only used to craft gadgets (and as I mentioned, the utility of these extra gadgets isn't really necessary), (3) the secret cars serve no purpose and (4) in the second and third map the amount of side missions is extremely limited.

I leave this on Recommended because I ultimately liked the main missions, but only buy this if you're prepared to deal with sluggish parts of the game.

After seeing the trailer for a second time and buying this off my wishlist during the Winter Sale, I can honestly say I kinda regret playing this. The trailer really duped me. For a game that makes delivery the whole concept, the missions didn't feel any different from each other. There were a few obsticles in missions that kind of made them different enough, but they all still felt the same.

The story wasn't great either. In the first Act, I could kind of see how the story should have gone and I would have been fine with it, but the longer the game went on, the story got even weirder and felt more like a slog the more you kept playing. The voice acting felt forced and bland at times, but a lot of the times the emotions in the voices didn't match what was being said or what was happening during certain parts of the story.

Even on sale, wait until the game is even cheaper. Really not worth the price.

Awesome game, good mechanics and graphics. The story is a bit puzzling and after finishing the game and not being a complete idiot, I will have to ask ChatGPT what did I miss/ what was that all about :). Sound bad, but without reading the journal fully (which I did not) one does not really understand what's going on in this game. I do recommend, and I would rate it a strong 8/ 10.

It is not that I don't recommend this game, but man, this could have been so much more.

In the beginning the game putz some cool mechanics that you think you might use like in a sandbox or something but each thing appears in one mission and that's that. There is basic zero consequence of your chaos in the world, the main character is just a vessel to move in and out the same car. Other card are barely relevant.

I didn't expect s gta 5 level. But maybe a GTA 2 with more light thematic.

People complains about the story but it didn't bother me. It didn't amaze me it anything but the structure of multiple chapters and different maps, which should be refreshing was more like let me get from a to b.
There is a big event in the end of chapter 1 and you think that you'll see changed in the map etc, but barely matters. It is just for the fake of changing to another map.

I know it was a small project but it was still backed by konami. It should have been a little more. GTA 2 level of features would have been great. But apart from the environmental destruction there is nothing much else.

The environment destruction is impressive. But it barely means anything. The buildings are barely resistant which makes it fun to see it fall but also makes all of them irrelevant.

I don't think I can say it is worth 50% of the price or anything, the game is ok.
It is clear they couldn't put enough time into it.

I played on steam deck, there is very little hiccups here and there. And it was enjoyable.

The voice acting is b-rating game production. It does not bother as much as the writing of the dialogues.

The main story is curious. But the slog of irrelevant mission made me give up. If there were maybe a better supporting range of sub missions and side quests I might played more.

For me, it is more a no because I wanted it to better. I kinda hope they make a second one with more features but not sure if this is going to happen.

They advertised as a GTA like game but it is nothing like that. So I say yes to a next game with more time and money for the team, but this game is kinda boring

Overall, "Delivery All the Cost" turned out to be a decent game. The visuals are excellent, and a lot of effort clearly went into the presentation: the art style, small animated scenes, the music, and several genuinely funny ideas. One moment that really surprised me was [spoiler]the remote-controlled police car[/spoiler].

That said, I’ll be completely honest: the game didn’t spark any real interest in me, nor did it leave a lasting impression. It feels like there is something here, and the developers definitely worked hard on the project. You can see the care and creativity behind it. But will I remember this game in the future? With absolute certainty, no.

Out of all my friends who watched gameplay or tried the demo, I was the only one who actually bought the game and finished it. The others described it as mediocre, mainly because of the story and the way the narrative is presented. After playing it myself, I understand that opinion.

It’s hard for me to add much more. The game didn’t move me at all - neither positively nor negatively. It didn’t make me feel bored or annoyed, but it didn’t excite me either. I simply played through it and deleted it afterward. And for me, that probably says everything.

Das Spiel ist wirklich mal etwas anderes, in vielerlei Hinsicht außergewöhnlich - und stimmig! Von der Grafik über den Soundtrack bis hin zu Gameplay und Story hat uns Deliver at all Costs durchweg gut gefallen (Ich frage mich ganz besonders, wie man es hinbekommt so viel Action ohne wirkliche Gewalt auf den Bildschirm zu bringen, alleine das ist schon ein Talent). Wir wünschen uns definitiv einen Nachfolger oder zumindest ein weiteres Spiel aus der kreativen Feder der Entwickler!

Great concept and really fun when the game sticks to the missions that combine humor and destruction. Because of the camera angle and insanely floaty vehicle/ on foot controls.... the missions that use platforming on foot.. and skill based driving fall flat and become multiple trial and error / get lucky moments. Game tries too hard to have a serious story and at the end of that story doesn't even wrap up a satisfying conclusion. If it was like a 10 dollar game i'd probably give it a buy.

Pros:
Good story telling, game world, art, music, and gameplay mechanics.

Cons:
I feel the items and car upgrades could be used more throughout the game. If you collect all the boxes and components there is not need for money and stores in the game. I would have also liked there to have been more wacky missions given the size and variety of locations once the world opens up. Some missions that required the special vehicles that you can find on the map would have also been a cool addition.

I somehow managed to softlock myself during the remote control car mission when the car got stuck on a ramp - couldn't move, couldn't reset the car, couldn't do anything. Those kinds of bugs are infuriating.

The game is all about driving around medium sized maps - the most ready comparison being against Grand Theft Auto. However, where GTA has larger maps, more interesting characters and storylines, actual humor in the radio programs, better fleshed out side quests - everything about this game just doesn't have what it needs to be fun. Its not that it couldn't be fun - there's an obvious example to follow, but it would probably take more time and talent than Konami is willing to invest.

It also needs better camera controls - only having two angles to choose from, with no option to zoom out, is criminal. Either go top down, zoom out farther, or give me full camera control.

Поєднати детективну історію із цією механікою і гумором самих квестів у розробників явно не вийшло... Післясмак від проходження наче грав у дві різні гри паралельно. If you just have too much money to spend, I would recommend this game for its really cool and satisfying destruction physics, as well as its fun and creative missions.

Be warned, though — the story can, in the blink of an eye, turn ridiculous and completely nonsensical. Somewhere around the middle of the game, you won’t even know what’s going on anymore (I sure didn’t).

If you're into fun gameplay, bizarre storytelling, and spending a ridiculous amount of cash on ~20h game, then this might be for you.

10 Minuten mit dem PickUp durch die gesamte zerstörbare Umgebung fahren und dabei kurzweiligen Spaß haben?

Ab dann gibt's leider nur eine Talfahrt in Sachen Langzeitmotivation: Ich fahre mehr zum Auftraggeber "We Deliver" anstatt Aufträge an sich zu erledigen. Die Welt und ihre Nebenaufgaben sind "tedious" und die Hauptmissionen an sich okay - mal liefere ich ein Denkmal ab, das nicht von Möwen vollgeschi**en werden darf. Mal eine Atombombe mit der ich keine Zusammenstöße haben darf. Mal fahre ich einen Vulkan hoch, wo mir rollende Felsen entgegen kommen. Klar macht das Laune, aber a) dauern die Missionen zu lang und b) ist dazwischen zu viel Rumfahrerei und nicht-bleifreie Story, die ständig die Handbremse anziehen.

Mehr "Retrocity Rampage" wäre geiler gewesen. Rumlaufen kann man, aber es fehlt fette Action.

随着房门的打开，温斯顿迎来崭新的一个工作日，一份送快递的工作。“我明明对理化有着极高的才情！竟然需要靠送快递来维持生计？！”心中这样想着，但表情却暴露了温斯顿其实并不反感，甚至是乐在其中。皮卡车轰鸣长啸，一脚油门下去，《绝递必达》的故事正式拉开帷幕。

《绝递必达》的本质上是一款剧情核心的沙盒游戏，玩家在游戏操控扮演主角温斯顿，在1959年的一个偏远小镇中的快递公司就职，展开一场扣人心弦的冒险。

[h2]超高破坏度和超人般的居民[/h2]
游戏中的玩法很简单，接取任务，护送货物到指定地方，最后推进剧情，但其在趣味性上并不平凡。

首先作为一款沙盒游戏，自由度是很重要的。游戏中玩家并不会被任务所拘泥（除了已经开始的剧情任务），同样游戏中也并没有时间观念，早上起床后第一个任务是去公司，但这并不代表一定要你立马去。哪怕绕着整个小城兜一大圈再去也没有任何问题。

这个过程中如果你遵纪守法，严格按照交通法规来驾驶的话，那么你就会发现这完全是多此一举！受活火山的影响，小城经常会有地震发生，有的会导致山体滑坡，有的则会导致楼房受损，但是你会奇迹般的发现这座城市的工人会在每一次场景加载时，修补所有有损伤的地方。当然，这其中不仅包含火山导致的，哪怕是玩家造成的损害也会修缮，不收取任何费用，言下之意......

喂！人行道上不是很宽敞吗，给我开上去！（图先欠着）玩家几乎可以破坏所有建筑，除了钢筋支撑的大型建筑不能被彻底摧毁，一脚油门下去连NPC带房子全部撞飞是完全没问题的！NPC也是钢铁之躯，被撞飞几十米远依然能毫发无损的爬起，从不知道哪里掏出来的棒槌电钻冲上来狠狠攻击你的车。

所以尽管游戏在剧情上也很优秀，但也别忽视了其本身的乐趣，尽情的去破坏去宣泄情绪吧！

[h2]你小子竟然想造原子弹？[/h2]
玩家所扮演的主角温斯顿· 格林出身于农场家庭，但他很喜欢捣鼓各种实验各种机械，但他的父亲就很反感这件事，甚至反感上学，认为家里有好好的农场不管理，有好好的地不播种，读书简直就是“玩物丧志”！但是小温的母亲很开明，不仅支持他继续读书，还支持小温研究课外实验。
随着步入社会，小温也找到了自己心仪的工作，可惜天不遂人愿，某些变故导致小温变成了失业游民，来到了游戏中故事发生的小镇。从电话交谈可以得知，温斯顿这小子竟然申请造原子弹......真是雄心壮志。

不出意外的被拒绝了并且永远禁止其提出申请，至此小温只能按下心来，做好快递员的工作。只不过事情的走向却逐渐串联起来，慢慢的一个巨大的计划浮现出水面。

更多的这里就不剧透了，游戏总共有三大幕，主线预计通关时长为12-15小时，体量不算大，但是非常有趣。小镇上还有各种各样的支线任务，支线任务大多和主线毫无一丝关联，其存在目的就是为了让玩家放轻松，更好的体验游戏的乐趣。

[h2]个人体验[/h2]
其实游戏中还有很多玩法，比如改装车辆，让车子变成疯狂麦克斯里的废土战车、比如站在高处用望远镜眺望美不胜收的风景等等，这些锦上添花的内容这里就不详细介绍了。

游戏采用的是上帝固定视角，这有个弊端就是需要时间适应，游戏只有左右面可以切换，其他时候画面是固定的，车子掉头或是转向后XY两轴就会交换，很容易开到不同的地方。
游戏定价有些昂贵，但不否认其本身是一部有趣的作品，尤其是对喜欢剧情驱动的玩家来说，这就是一本短篇小说，非常值得品味。

An interesting and quirky little delivery simulator that is ultimately lessened by an unnecessary story and overstaying it's welcome.

This game has the Dredge problem: the core gameplay is fun as hell and you could've built a game solely around progressing through increasingly ludicrous and insane deliveries but, instead, it decides to progress itself via a story that really only serves to distract you from the fun you should be having.

The exploration is brutal. It's the worst sort of collect-a-thon and it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so extensive and required of you several times over. I combed the map in the first area, before I realised theres multiple new areas to the game as the story progresses and the moment it asked me to do the same again I just started ignoring it. You don't really miss out on much by doing so.

I think if you had just built the game around the deliveries and ignored the story you'd honestly have had a really fun 7 or 8 out of 10 game but given what it is, I'd say this is a strong 6 out of 10 instead.

Deliver At All Costs ist ein wirklich spassiges Action Spiel. Es bietet eine hübsche Grafik, mit vielen unterschiedlichen Umgebungen. Die von Hand gefertigte Spielwelt weißt dabei viel liebe zum Detail auf und wirkte auf mich nie leer oder leblos.

Die Arcade lastige Steuerung funktionierte mit dem Xbox-Controller ohne Probleme. Der Großteil der Spielwelt ist zerstörbar. Dieses Potenzial schöpft das Spiel gut aus. Die Zerstörungseffekte sind gelungen und hübsch anzusehen. Die Missionen bieten ausreichend Abwechslung und machen zumeist Spass. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad der Missionen schwankt hierbei ein wenig. Manche Missionen sind quasi Selbstläufer während andere Missionen (Tauben, Ufo) durchaus zur Geduldsprobe werden können. Insgesamt ist der nicht anpassbare Schwierigkeitsgrad fair.

Die Story war für mich wohl die größte Überraschung in diesem Spiel. Da viel mehr Story drin steckt als man ihm zutrauen würde. Doch hier ergeben sich auch ein paar kleinere Stolpersteine. Insgesamt wirkt es von seinen vielen erzählerischen Elementen hier und da ein wenig Überladen und dabei geht der rote Faden der Story ein wenig verloren. Es gibt auch ein paar Längen. Zudem steht der zunehmend ernster werdende Ton der Story mit seinen Sci-Fi Elementen im krassen Gegensatz zum seichten Spielgeschehen.

在历经七个小时的横冲直撞后，我终于为这段充满疯狂的故事画上了句话。老实说，它让我找回了一种久违的纯粹由混乱组成的快乐。在游玩的过程中我的脑海中也不止一次浮现了《疯狂出租车》与《红色派系3》。

这种乐趣，我想正是因为本作的独特，它把最原始的破坏欲包装为了工作，让我可以理直气壮的撞飞每一个路人，冲进每一栋建筑。像这种能够肆意宣泄的游戏舞台现如今已经不算多见了。在玩的时候我也不止一次幻想自己是DIO，人行道不是很宽敞吗？直接冲上去！

[h2]关于故事[/h2]
本作的舞台为1959年的美国，那是一个经济低迷，成年人们一边斥责摇滚乐毁了青少年，一边活在核战争阴霾之下的特殊年代。玩家将扮演的是一位看着平平无奇的温斯顿·格林，在一次阴差阳错中成为了"吾宜速递"的快递员扛起了运送千奇百怪货物的重任，从超巨形枪鱼到军方的飞弹，可以说是无所不送。（所以为什么就他一个人在工作？？）但是，随着一家神秘机构的介入，这看似疯狂日常般的送货之旅也逐渐浮现出不为人知的深邃秘密。

整体故事总共分为了三幕，分别代表了三张地图与三个重要的剧情转折，随着流程推荐，玩家可以逐渐了解温斯顿从年轻气盛再到后面的家道中落与最后彻底疯狂的一生。

[h2]关于玩法和亮点[/h2]
既然以疯狂为主，那么就不得不说说说本作最核心的乐趣，驾驶与破坏了。整个城市几乎就是玩家的大型碰碰车现场，无论是路上的绿植、其他NPC和他们的车辆或者各式各样的建筑物都可以随意撞毁。破坏的物理反馈做的相当不错，玩家甚至可以体验像好莱坞大片那样，听着50年代风格的音乐，开车直挺挺撞进一栋大楼随后再从另一侧撞出来。若是顶梁柱被破坏了，还能够观赏到一整栋楼倒塌的震撼场景。

比较好玩的是游戏中的路人并不会被死亡，而是先飞个十几米远，然后怒气冲冲的回来殴打玩家的车子，虽然并不能造成什么实质性的伤害，但看上去还是蛮有乐趣的。有些甚至会飞扑到玩家的车上，死死扒住车子影响玩家驾驶。

当然了，如果一款开车游戏不能对爱车进行改造怎么行呢？游戏中可以通过地图上的钱箱与任务奖励获得的金钱来改装自己的爱车。让小皮卡彻底化身为一辆迷你坦克，在道路上尽情驰骋。

游戏中我们要运送的货物也充满了极大程度的不确定性，玩家永远也不知道下一件要送的东西是什么，基本上每次任务都充满了趣味性，还有些会带来独特的机制，像是不停制造气球的机器让车直接处于无重力状态随便一个拐弯就会直接起飞。我印象最深刻的还是汽油火焰拖尾的那一关，玩家每次开车都会流下汽油，而汽油会形成火焰不停追逐玩家非常刺激。

虽说是以驾驶为主，但游戏体验并非全程与方向盘绑死。游戏中存在着不少手工味十足的支线任务，它们往往需要玩家下车才能进行，可以短暂的从风驰电掣的游戏节奏中抽离出来，体验一些别样乐趣的故事。

[h2]关于缺点[/h2]
虽说整体游戏非常的爽，但是一提到它的缺点我则会疯狂挠头。因为它的这几个缺点真的十分怪异，甚至让我有些难以形容。所以接下来我会尽可能的表达属于我个人的看法。

首先就是关于游戏中的视角问题，作为一款斜45度的半开放驾驶游戏，玩家居然不能自由的调整游戏中的镜头。虽然提供了个可上下调节的有限范围，这也导致在部分桥段中会让整体的操作手感变的非常怪异。尤其是在火山关卡时将这个问题放大到了极致，到处都是狭窄的山路同时视线又很差，再加上要躲避滚石让整个过程变的异常痛苦。

还有的就是游戏的剧情……实在是有点一言难尽。虽然我明白大致内容在说什么，但是其中的人物逻辑和动机让我有些摸不着头脑，反派的行动目的我直到通关也没能理解究竟它想要做什么？

[h2]总结[/h2]
《绝递必达》毫无疑问是一款特质鲜明的疯狂作品。它成功的把驾驶的爽快与破坏的宣泄相结合，在复古又荒诞的50年代美国提供了久违的纯粹的无序乐趣的游戏舞台。尽管其僵化的视角问题与欠缺打磨的地图设计确实拖累了整体的操作体验，但这趟充满黑色幽默的送货之旅，依然能带来持续不断的独特乐趣。在这里，没有什么交通法！有的只是抛开规则！横冲直撞！

Game very obviously uses generative AI voicelines for most of its characters and the devs lied about it in a discussions forum. I know audio production and I can hear the qualities of AI generated speech in 75% of the dialogue I've heard in my short playtime, real audio doesn't sound like that. It's one thing to have ai generated assets in your game, and another altogether to make most of your dialogue that, not disclose it on the store page as required by steam, and then lie about it to your audience. Could konami not budget a couple more voice actors? The game could be as fun as anything but this is a dealbreaker for me I'm afraid.

Edit: I knew the devs would double down but I do have ears. You can watch a playthrough online if you wanna see how obvious the artifacts of the ai voices are.

Awesome atmosphere and music of the 60s, nice graphics and excellent physics (the optimization is also pretty good, btw) are completely ruined by a schizophrenic plot and extremely boring missions (some of which are not just boring but also annoyingly tedious).

I bought this game right after playing the demo because I thought it would be a fun sandbox delivery/racing game, but how wrong I was... You can't even imagine how much story driven this game is, and the plot is very weak, to put it mildly. The amount of poor, low-detailed cutscenes was simply off the charts ([spoiler]the time-travelling[/spoiler] scene was the worst, did the devs suddenly run out of budget?) and when [spoiler]time travel[/spoiler] appeared (lol), I just stopped following the plot and played the game out of inertia. This game is also the embodiment of the so-called “ludonarrative dissonance”: on the one hand, gameplay-wise, we can fall from any height without dying and run over pedestrians with our car as if they were bowling pins, who then calmly get up and go about their business or comically try to beat us up; and on the other hand, we have a dramatic storyline with deaths and murders. This dissonance completely breaks the immersion.

It's a shame that the cool gameplay idea was buried under the ambitions of a Hollywood wannabe screenwriter(s) and boring missions. This game would benefit so much from being a fun and carefree sandbox.

I am not sure if I want to give this one a thumbs up or down. The game is pretty, and its fun. I wish there was an "adult" version where people got mangled if you drive over them, like the old carmageddon from long ago. I also with the controls were better. I realize the idea is to destroy things, but I would have liked to do it on purpose and not accidentally. You do get used to the controls a bit after a while, but its still annoying. The devs could have at least allowed us to rotate the camera.
I think one of the reason for the bad controls is because this game is quite badly optimized. The moment one tampers with the camera to view more of the game you can see its performance degrading quite dramatically.
Anyways, its a fun game still.
I think I will give it an down-vote though - the game is so close to being good but its just missing it in my view.

I really wanted to like this game but its not what I expected. The story takes way too long to get the ball rolling and shows no sign of getting out of the damn way. I just want a fun romp in a destructible city delivering stuff. If I wanted to wake up and put my pants on I'd go play mafia 2 some more. The story just failed to grab me out the gate with way too long of an explanation that Winston is a broke nerd. Every character I've seen needed about half the lines they got. I didn't care for the writing or direction and the English delivery left a lot to be desired.

The watermelon mission to start felt like a weak choice. Here's a destructible environment, lets lead with a mission where you have to be careful and drive slow! The checkpoints are like every 2 seconds and thats the only thing that made that mission bearable. Just when I get done with a tedious mission the plot slams the brakes again just to tell me the main character is a broke ♥♥♥♥ who likes gadgets for the hundredth time in less than an hour. This game managed to wear through my patience exceptionally quickly. The car mods are an interesting idea but I'm not slogging through any more of this story to find the good part.

Has some goofy physics that I absolutely love! Lots of fun and the story is interesting enough. I love just blowing through buildings and seeing the chaos I can create!

Only bad thing is sometimes I run into performance issues but nothing has been game breaking.

Do you like satire and some good amount of dark humour? This game has it. The story ties things together.
Driving is great, this is by no means meant as a serious game when it comes to driving, destruction and pedestrians.
To me, it's very much a satire about 60s America, the corporate greed, government conspiracies, aliens and weird characters.

I wish I could put my finger on exactly why Deliver At All Costs hasn’t been received very well, because to me it’s genuinely a good game that knows what it wants to be and does it well. I have to wonder what expectations people had that led them to feel disappointed. Some say “it gets boring,” but that feels like a shallow criticism. Others claim the game is “trying to be AAA” just because it has plot and cut-scenes, then complain about animations which tells me they've misunderstood what the game is going for.

We Deliver isn’t designed to be a dopamine loop that hooks you for endless hours. It’s designed to be a good game. Each mission brings a unique challenge, which is impressive from a design perspective, and each cut-scene adds meaningful character development or backstory. So it clearly has all the elements to be a good game. It may not be the kind of game that consumes your life, but if you want something you can pick up now and then, run a mission or two, enjoy the challenge, and get a satisfying story beat, it’s a great experience.

Overall I liked it. The story, the characters (some of them, anyway) and the driving/destruction felt very good and polished.

World is beautiful and well realized, and there's lots to do.

Some of the missions had a strange difficulty curve. Some I finished first try, and others took double digit tries. I don't know if I'm just different from the playtesters or what but there were a few moments in the main mission line that felt genuinely frustrating. Otherwise though, I liked it alot and the story went in some pretty cool directions.

Game is terrible.

- If you don't know how to write jokes, stop trying so hard. The same for the plot. Just tell me what to do already, not explanation needed. We didn't need it back in the 90's, with Mario, when everything you had to do was to start the game and just go jumping around nonsensical things. This would be the case.
- GTA II has a better driving gameplay.
- Its 2025. Rotate the screen smoothly is a basic thing nowadays.
- Graphics are a 6. Destroying things was cool, for 3 minutes. They focused too much on that.
- Its a light game. Stop putting so many fade out screens and loadings. Our PC can handle it.
- Characters move like asterisks. Again, it was good in GTA II. Its not anymore.
- If you make a PC game, stop asking too hard to me to use a controller. I would never use it, otherwise I would have a console. If you commit to a PC game, keep in mind that we love our keyboards. Some of us, not myself, but some of us have really expensive ones and we would like to use it.

The mechanics of destruction and driving are great, the physics are exaggerated, but fun.

But the missions in the game are incredibly boring. 2-3 missions (with funny mechanics that interfere with delivery) and then everything just starts to annoy you, not entertain you
I had high hopes.
