This is truly a masterpiece with no real equivalents on the market today. Feel what it’s like to be a god — and yes, in VR. It’s an unforgettable experience. The developer has clearly put in a lot of effort, and now the game is also playable on PC, macOS, and Steam Deck — but my very first experience was in VR, and that’s something special.
Besides creating an entire world from scratch, you can influence it through so-called “Miracles.” Grant immortality to a single human… or wipe out an entire city with disease or fire. Maybe send thunder from the skies? Coincidence — or divine punishment? It’s up to you what kind of god you want to be: guide civilization toward prosperity or stand in its way. And the world doesn’t just wait for you — random events constantly shape the fate of its inhabitants. A fire might break out because someone forgot to extinguish a campfire. What will you do? Send rain and save the city, or simply observe events unfold naturally?
Your power is fueled by faith. The more people believe in you, the more miracles you unlock as their population grows (and of course, they never doubt your divinity). I won’t spoil all the mechanics, so let’s move on to my overall impressions.
Pros:
1. Uniqueness
A sandbox, city builder, god simulator — and with recent updates, even real-time strategy elements. And in VR! There’s nothing else quite like this. I searched. This is something you have to experience at least once.
2. Active Developer Feedback
At least on Steam, the developer is very present. I follow the community — bugs get fixed, questions get answered.
3. Price
For just $7, you can create your own multiverse — seriously, like Rick and Morty. And with recent updates, there are now multiple worlds and multiple civilizations (you can imagine which ones 😉). Or better yet, just buy it and explore them yourself.
4. Constant Updates
New content keeps coming. It’s clear the developer loves this project. Christmas and Halloween events add a festive atmosphere to your worlds — and those memories stay with you both in-game and in real life.
5. Soundtrack
Pleasant, unobtrusive, immersive. It adapts to the civilization you’re observing and adds depth and involvement to the experience.
6. Civilizations
Development, trade, war, kings, territorial conquest , DINOSAURS. Dive into the Paleozoic era. Could you survive there? I don’t know about you, but you can watch a caveman struggle against nature, evolve, overcome challenges, and maybe even reach space — if they can. Or maybe not. Once again, it’s up to you.
Cons:
1. Repetitiveness
The first experience is amazing. But after one full playthrough, everything becomes clear — which resources each race needs, how to logically connect them for fast development — and then you just wait. And wait. That becomes tiring, especially after the first run.
My suggestion: expand and deepen the political interaction system. It would be far more engaging to watch civilizations form alliances against common enemies or wage meaningful territorial wars. Most of these mechanics already exist, but in my opinion, they need refinement.
2. NPC Behavior (Especially Warriors)
Often, when an army attacks a hostile settlement, they go straight for the castle, ignoring the city’s population — and the citizens ignore them in return. If this mechanic exists, maybe civilians should hide in the castle and organize defense.
Sometimes an attacking army can even walk through a hostile neighboring city without any reaction and just continue to the next target. My suggestion: refine basic NPC behavior patterns so they attack more naturally, like in many RTS games. It would feel much more alive and realistic.
3. Neutral Cities and Defense
No matter how much I preserve their sovereignty or boost their technology with miracles, the result is usually the same: guys with swords conquer a technologically advanced city with firearms. Neutral cities have almost no chance to remain independent.
My suggestion: increase the chance of successful defense, or rebalance combat so that same-era civilizations have equal odds, while technologically advanced ones have a clear advantage. I’ve seen a siege fail once, but I’m not sure what influenced that outcome — maybe population size. If this were improved, unpredictability and excitement would increase dramatically.
[spoiler]4. Heretics (The Antagonists)
These are basically the “villains” of the world, and you inevitably end up at war with them. Personally, I like helping the Heretics. You can’t directly play as them, but you can support them — and they really need it. Without player intervention, they almost always get wiped out in the first few minutes.
Sometimes I even have to defend them with “cheat-like” lightning strikes just so they survive long enough to form a state. My suggestion: increase the difficulty scaling or strengthen the Heretic faction so they have a real chance to survive on their own.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]5. Meteors and UFOs
I understand that these events are random, and I know I can disable them — but I don’t want to, because without random events the world becomes much less interesting.
However, when a meteor wipes out the Orc capital after you’ve waited four hours for territorial conflicts to resolve so you can finally introduce your own Elven race… and instead you’re left with a ruined empire and a bunch of neutral cities — that feels frustrating.
My suggestion: allow meteors and UFOs to also land on random terrain tiles, not just settlements. Keep the chance of hitting cities, but reduce the probability if it’s a capital. That way, if it still happens, it feels like fate — not pure unfair randomness.[/spoiler]
If even part of these smaller issues gets addressed, it would solve the main problem — repetitiveness. The game would become far more engaging long-term. You’d want to monitor the world constantly, observe diplomatic relationships, and replay new universes again and again.
What could be more fascinating than watching your own creation live, interact, evolve, survive, and grow?
With time, this will become a perfect game. I’m sure of it.

This easy-to-pick up God game is a nice relaxing way to spend a couple of stress-free hours. The game does seem to glitch out on the hand controls for the Quest 3. If you put your hands down for too long without moving they switch sides and you cannot grab things with your dominant hand. The only fix I have found is you have to save and then reload. Other than that it is a light, entertaining, easy-going game.

I really enjoyed playing this game! I'm not sure about its replay value, but I did enjoy building a perfect world only to destroy it in the end.
Fun, casual god game with enough variation to keep me satisfied for many hours. If there were any changes I'd suggest, allow you to raise more than 1k points to build with. I'd love to keep the sim running for a while just to get a ton of points to build with.

Минусы: несмотря на большое количество эффектов и способностей, их не хватает. Больше минусов не вижу, как и плюсов. Может что-то пропустил (: не судите.

the desition to move this game to pc was brilliant. It's fun in VR but it's more fun on PC without all the gadgets. Games is nice, kind of early Populous games. The mechanics can be weird (interactions with resources and people) but they are not opaque, just not highlighted.
And its a god game, what can one expect from such if not with miracles of many kinds, you are just not a god of your people but of your world too so you can create interesting biomes.
I believe this game lends itself to mixmaxing a lot if you are into that kind of gaming.

My thoughts:
One idea i had was. The people have traits. Do these traits do anything to the people? i tried killing off the greedy people thinking that perhaps it would make them a less greedy civilizaton over all but i dont think that accomplished anything. Not sure why the people have traits if they dont influence anything much...(as far as i can tell)
Im not sure why there is a whole extra menu of commands for the underworld... maybe i didnt get there?
Confused by the King mechanic. If you make kingdoms...yes you can give them omens but the omens dont do much other than give you a message that the ruler did something for their people. Also, when you make kingdoms is when they eventually start raiding and trying to capture each other. I wish there was a way to maybe influence the kingdoms in bigger ways. Make them choose to attack or choose not to attack.
The aliens were cool.....but maybe there are too many attacks of them? haha
Ill write more later if i think of anything else.
I hope you guys continue to work on this game because its very fun.

Now I don't have VR so I can't say much from that side,
but if you like building things up to tear them down in all sorts of ways, this is where you do it.
it's got some thought behind it, I mean besides you get to be god and watch cities grow or die from a *cough random volcano it's up to you, it might seem a tad limited at this moment of what you can and can't do HOWEVER they keep updating it and it keeps adding some rather interesting outcomes.

Le jeu est simple, peut être trop simple, en même temps on joue un dieu, c'est cohérent.
C'est ni beau, ni moche, c'est assez simpliste dans les graphisme mais pour autant on entre facilement dans l'univers.
La boucle de gameplay est simple elle aussi, on pose des biôme, des humains s'installe, évolue, jusqu'à arriver à l'ère du futur...
Je le recommande à petit prix (je l'ai eu en promo pour 5€, fini en 7h avec tout les succès sans forcer)

Deisim is a very cool concept, and I hope work continues on it. There aren't a whole lot of god games out there, and a lot of them aren’t very sandboxy. I consider WorldBox to be the gold standard of what I want out of a god game. However, Deisim has a lot of potential.
I enjoy VR, and while I did have fun playing this game with my headset, I switched to K&B and I personally liked that experience better. It’s easier to design the worlds, and I can sit back and watch my creations without VR fatigue.
The game itself is very barebones at the moment, so there isn’t that much content. I really like the variety of human civilizations that can emerge from different land tiles, and watching them advance their way to the modern era is really cool. Though there isn’t too much beyond that, and the sandbox elements are a bit static at the moment.
Kingdoms don’t really form on their own, though human villages can. I have seen heretics make their own kingdoms, but it seems rather rare. Every village is self contained, and they really don’t interact that much with each other. If you make a village into a kingdom, then they can trade and commence warfare. Usually kingdoms will conquer smaller villages, but the strategic AI is rather lacking and I have yet to see a kingdom fully dominate another.
Building your own world is pretty cool, I actually do like the voxel mechanics here as it makes it easier to measure things. Though I would like to see improvements regarding tools and visual aids like overlayed grids. I would also like to do some vertical building, such as the ability to elevate land or build over/under land. You can’t really choose what resources go on what tile, every tile has a set resource and animal you can place on it. This means you have to mix up tiles to ensure every kingdom gets access to certain resources.
The idea that you rely on humans worshipping you to access your god powers is a pretty cool concept, but you get all the unlocks and reach the progression ceiling very fast. Then it just becomes a game of stomping heretics and spawning the occasional priest, you are mostly just waiting for your energy to tick up in order to add more to your world.
All these criticisms are to highlight that the game definitely needs work, but so far, it looks like the devs are sticking to it which is a good sign and why I can currently recommend it. Always check the updates though, and make sure development progress is at a level you can tolerate before buying.

Не плохая игра для VR и не только, когда только начал играть первым делом попробовал в VR и игра выглядит очень добротно картинка чёткая из за LowPolyGraphics от чего мыла нет от слова совсем даже по безпроводу, дошёл до каменного века думаю ещё поиграю в неё обязательно.
Что касается плоского монитора то тут тоже всё отлично но погружение в мир конечно же колоссальное так что решайте сами.
Игру однозначно рекомендую!

If you ever played the game World box and have fun creating civilizations and enjoy watching them build lore. This game is the game for you. Also this game supports non VR too so you can even check in on your world without putting on your headset. Cool game and I hope to maybe even see a 2nd game come out like this by you guys in the future.
This game is relaxing and loads of fun, the developer has added a ton of content through the years making it even more fun, and they are still adding! The idea for the game is like a god simulator where you make little kingdoms by giving them different materials on different tiles and giving kingdoms blessing or curses. You generally have less individual management then a VR game like Townsmen and are more influencing behavior by providing resources. For me it really scratched that itch of managing your own little kingdom in VR and watching it grow and fight off threats with your help.
That being said the general game play loop does tend to get old after a while, especially in VR when you are constantly looking at the ground it can lead to some neck strain. Best for small sittings in VR because of this and I don't know that I would play this over other similar games in non-VR flat-screen mode. There is also little in the way of story or set gameplay so if you are looking for something that is more linear this is not it.
Overall my take is that in VR the game really shines and there is not much else out there like it, so if the game play loop sounds interesting I highly recommend.

I was skeptical if I would like this game because it seemed like a novelty that would get old, but I actually really enjoyed it and look forward to playing it more. It's cool being able to build out the land and see how the population reacts to it, and how different civs react to each other. There were many unexpected things that happened. Once you get going (past the initial setup stages), it was fun and challenging to figure out how to advance. Plus it's just super fun playing a god-like entity.
I would like to see this game grow and get new features such as more abilities, more types of land, civs, resources, etc. But it's still great as it is. Definitely recommend checking it out. Maybe this game will get workshop content someday 🤞

DeiSim si finisce in circa 2 ore e purtroppo non offre contenuti extra o modalità che ne aumentino la longevità. Il gameplay è poco profondo e alcune meccaniche non sono molto chiare, quindi risulta difficile divertirsi a lungo. Mi aspettavo un’esperienza più completa rispetto al prezzo pagato.

- After like 3 hours I felt like I saw everything (and pretty much did). Stick to 1 world and build big, that's the most fun.
- When you have a bigger world, with multipe cities, the FPS will suffer when you are moving from town to town. I haven't encountered any bugs tho
+ VR Beginner friendly
+ You can even play it on flatscreen

I asked for more War and more Kingdomes. 1 Month later the developer added that! That's something I have rarly seen.

Я рекомендую эту игру. За цену 550 рублей достаточно малая цена . Контент обновляется это не Brick Rigs где ты платишь 680 рублей и играешь дня четыре и обновы 2 раза в год . Тут контента на недели 2 - 3 . Может ли игра надоесть ? Ответ: да. Первые 1- 3 дня очень интересно . Я не играю в эту игру месяца 3 - 4 нечего там делать когда уже люди развиты по максимум . Разве что новые типы например пираты , джунгли . Особенно когда сделали доступ для пкшеров.

i beat the game in less then two hours and it was pretty fun to play, i would reccomend this if you like micromamanging places or just spectate.
