Early on, the game leans heavily into survival horror—limited ammo, fewer enemies, constant tension—but as you upgrade weapons, it gradually shifts into a more action-heavy shooter with enemy hordes. The transition makes sense, but the earlier, slower-paced horror sections are more effective. Some enemies are overly tanky and frustrating, especially since they often appear suddenly, leaving little opportunity to use environmental traps effectively. The reuse of areas early in the game is also noticeable, even if slightly modified with new enemies.
[*][b]Accessibility:[/b] Decent. Difficulty can be adjusted, and subtitle size can be modified, which helps readability.
[*][b]Other:[/b] Performance is very poor. Even on modern hardware, maintaining a stable 60 FPS is difficult, particularly when transitioning between areas. This is disappointing for a remake from a major studio, especially several years after release. Performance on Linux is even worse.

最令我惊艳的就是本作的UI设计，与一般游戏常驻画面四周的UI不同，本作将人物的血条能量条融合在角色后背的战甲上，背包地图界面则是通过战甲投射全息影像出来，将全部UI融入到环境中的设计极大增强了沉浸感，甚至本作都没有主菜单，进入游戏非常丝滑，这种体验非常舒适。

整体游玩下来感受到两个缺点。首先就是每一章的地图大同小异，从头到尾基本就是在飞船里来回穿梭，加上环境昏暗，稍微有些审美疲劳。其次就是剧情方面过于服务玩法，主角会遇到解决不完的麻烦事，修不完的设施，这辈子没见过这么倒霉的人，这种节奏的流程正反馈太少，很容易令人产生受挫感。

恐怖程度不高，战斗体验丰富，想要尝试带有恐怖元素的射击游戏的玩家，非常值得体验本作。8.5/10

Dead Space é facilmente um dos melhores jogos de terror que já joguei. A ambientação no espaço é muito bem feita e consegue te deixar tenso o tempo todo. A história também é muito boa, principalmente se você prestar atenção nela.
O único ponto negativo é o desempenho. Em alguns momentos, especialmente ao passar por portas ou entrar em áreas novas, o jogo dá umas travadas rápidas ou quedas de FPS. Não chega a atrapalhar a gameplay de verdade, mas pode incomodar um pouco e quebrar a imersão em certas partes.
Mesmo assim, isso não atrapalha diretamente. A experiência como um todo é muito boa, e para quem gosta de terror, principalmente com tema de espaço, vale muito a pena.
Recomendo, só fica o aviso de que podem acontecer algumas engasgadas durante a gameplay.

Игрушка прикольная, спору нет, но совсем не страшная. Если честно я не могу даже предположить почему. Я всегда очень стремаюсь хорроров, и из за этого долго решался начать прохождение этой игры, но поиграв понял что абсолютно ничего страшного здесь нету. I played the Dead Space (2023) remake, and overall I really enjoyed it. It’s one of those remakes that actually feels like the developers cared about modernizing the game while still keeping what made the original special.

The first thing that stands out is the atmosphere. The USG Ishimura looks incredible in the remake. The lighting, fog, and environmental details make the whole ship feel dark, dirty, and abandoned in a really convincing way. Walking through the corridors feels tense almost all the time, especially because the game uses a system that can dynamically change enemy spawns and environmental effects, so you’re never completely sure when something is about to happen.

Combat still revolves around the classic Dead Space idea of dismembering enemies, and it’s just as satisfying as ever. Weapons feel better balanced in the remake, and many of them have improved alternate fire modes. The Plasma Cutter is still the go-to weapon for a lot of players, but other weapons feel more useful now too, which encourages experimenting with different builds.

One thing I really liked was how the Ishimura feels more interconnected this time. You can move through different areas of the ship more freely, and there are side missions that expand the story and give more background to the characters and events. Isaac also actually talks now, which makes the story feel more natural compared to the original where he was silent.

The zero-gravity sections are also a big improvement. Instead of jumping from point to point like in the original, you can fully move in 360 degrees and fly around using thrusters, which makes those sections feel a lot smoother and more immersive.

The horror still works really well too. Even though you get stronger weapons later on, the game constantly keeps you on edge with limited resources, tight corridors, and enemies that can show up when you least expect it.

If I had to point out a few downsides, the pacing can feel a little slow in some parts when you’re traveling through the ship or backtracking between areas. The tram and elevator sections in particular can slow things down a bit.

Overall though, the remake is a great way to experience Dead Space. It improves the visuals, modernizes the gameplay, and expands the world a bit without changing what made the original so good. Whether you’re new to the series or played the 2008 version, it’s a really solid survival horror game that still holds up today.

Was a great game until the tendril grabbed me after I killed the hunter.
All I have is my forcegun in my hand and it cant reach it range wise. I dont have time to reload.

왜 다들 아이작 아이작 하는지 알겠다.
팀장이랑 찡찡이가 해달라는 대로 다 해줘 상황은 급박한데 자꾸 헛소리 하려하면 대화도 정리해 줘
이 정도 준수한 게임에 이 정도 괜찮은 스토리는 돼야 그래야 사람들이 명작이라 하는지를 새삼 깨달았고, 자신만의 고집 없이 만들어 유저가 재밌게 플레이할 수 있게 만든 작품이란 걸 알았다.

요즘 같은 게임 같지도 않은 게임을 뱉어내는 시대에 어째서 사람들이 구작을 리메이크 하는지 느끼게 해주는 패키지게임이었다.

TLDR: hell yeah this game is awesome af.

I dont really play alot of horror games. i have some in my library but i never finished them cause either its just too hard, too scary, or just not as interesting (tho rarely realy). i didnt even play the first dead space cause i was such a big baby with horror games but this remake is just so much fun i cant help but play it over and over till i eventually 100% it. everytime i get scared and think "okay just one more chapter and then im done" or "in the next save station im gonna stop for now" i just kept going. i never thought a horror game would make me want to play it over and over like this. its amazing.

after getting the last achievement, i played for alittle bit more to just have fun with the "Rewards" for beating impossible mode. alittle victory lap :P Eventualy i gotta uninstall to free up some storage. saying goodbye to this game felt like a very bitter sweet moment. bye bye scariest game i've ever played, yet best horror game i've ever played.

also thanks to my 2 special buddies that kept me company while playing this game lol. i do not have the balls to finish this without you two <3

Honestly the scariest game I have ever played. I literally had to stop playing for several minutes at a time due to my chest hurting. Multiple times. I quite honestly may have been close to having a small heart attack. I would love to be hooked up to a heart monitor while playing this just to see the jump scares on the read out.

All things considered it was a great time. If I end up in the hospital, or worse, because of this game. Let this review be proof that it was WORTH IT.

My pc has 5600x 6750xt. Played on quality and ultra settings. Had the difficulty on medium.
The visuals is disgustingly good. You can see the detail in the dismembered limbs, all that crap they spew at you, and the grotesque alien stuff. Played with headphones on and it has great sound design. A hiccups with the engine noises from certain sections. The sound would go from real quiet to 100% banging. A few stutters but nothing game braking. Worth it the buy!

Laggy, glitchy and not even remotely scary. Unlike Bioshock and RE2, it didn't live up to the hype.

It's not a bad game. If the game was well optimised or optimised at all, I might actually like it.

The game has so many issues. I'll pick up every fckn ligament an alien has before I can get it's claws which is ♥♥♥♥ in a fight, I can barely see anything including claws/vents but increasing brightness rids atmosphere, some weapons are fckn useless, weapons swaps are slow, the ship gets boring after only a few chapters while looking at dull rooms (some rooms are really cool), tram rides get annoying quick and there are so many bugs.

Not enough ease of use: cannot skip cutscenes after you die to laggy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or random log files during fights, the game does not pause when looking at the map, my graphics/monitor settings don't save because there's not a proper title screen so I have to change them every time I boot up this damn game and much more.

Dead Space (2023) is a fantastic re-imagining of the original. It maintains the weighty gameplay and atmosphere of the original while also bringing improvements from Dead Space 2. There are some legitimately tense sections of this game that got my heart-rate raised. The sound design and pacing of scares is actually likely my favorite for this whole franchise within this game. My other favorite aspect of this game is updates to the weapons. I really loved using the pulse rifle and flamethrower in the remake, whereas in the original I remember these weapons being worse than just using the plasma cutter. I realize in the case of the pulse rifle this may have been deliberate in the original to show how useless conventional weapons are against the necromorphs, but realistically it should still be handy at shredding limbs and the remake reflects that.

Overall a very good game and EA has made a questionable decision in cancelling development of a Dead Space 2 remake, I hope this gets reversed.

as a long time dead space fan ( even played the mobile game way back in early 2010s) i loved this game.. played 2 and 3 a few times over but never the origonal so this was just me completing the set . i by mistake picked the hard difficulty for my first playthrough lol was fun tho 5/5 game

Приблизно три роки тому я почав грати в оригінал. Мені сподобалося, але саме тоді з’явилися новини про ремейк, тож я вирішив відкласти проходження до його виходу. Коли гра нарешті релізнулася, вона якось «припала пилом» у моєму списку бажаного, але побачивши знижку, я нарешті її придбав.
І не дарма - мені дуже сподобалося!

[b] Плюси: [/b]

+ Неймовірна атмосфера: це не порівняти з іншими хорорами в подібному жанрі.
+ Дизайн та звук: чудовий дизайн рівнів та звукова складова, що тримає в напрузі.
+ Геймплей: звичайні моби зроблені круто, а [spoiler]безсмертний некроморф, що регенерує[/spoiler] - це взагалі найкращий і наймоторошніший момент гри.

[b] Мінуси: [/b]

- Оптимізація: гру довелося обмежувати на 60 кадрах. Без цього процесор чомусь вантажився на всі 110% і сильно грівся. При обмеженні в 60 FPS температури стали в норму (55-60° на CPU та 40-45° на відеокарті).
Як я читав, це особливості рушія Frostbite.
- Гігантські боси: вони мені зовсім не сподобалися [spoiler](хіба що фінальний)[/spoiler]. Геймплей з ними здається дещо примітивним та нереалістичним, особливо на фоні крутих сутичок зі звичайними ворогами.

Попри технічні нюанси, це топовий хорор. Рекомендую!

Primeiramente, o jogo sofre com sérios problemas de gagueira, que apesar dos esforços e dicas em fóruns, até diminuiu em bastante partes do jogo, mas ele ainda continua, principalmente ao abrir portas e nas cenas de cutcene, em meio a isso decidi continuar, pois o jogo é fantástico, mas pra quem vai comprar, fique ciente desse problema, não recomendo pelo motivo performance, mas especialmente nesse análise, vou recomendar pelo jogo que foi uma experiência maravilhosa.
Aqui temos o início dead space sendo elevado a um nível magistral de um remake que respeita tudo que o original construiu, com boas adições que fazem da experiência ainda melhor que vimos em 2008.
Quando vi a nova ishimura, confesso que fiquei maravilhado com o trabalho feito, tudo e conectado agora de forma rápida, sem loading, um só lugar, algo que não era possível lá atrás, onde parecia um jogo por fases.
Além disso o ambiente está macabro, sujo, agonizante, você de fato fica apreensivo com o que não sabe o que vai encontrar, o personagem agora nos demonstra isso, com seu corpo reagindo às criaturas por todo redor, suas batidas de coração, o medo, a tensão de Isaac a medida que se avança, faz tudo isso fica ainda tenso e assustador.
A jogabilidade está espetacular, bem mais responsiva, um pouco mais rápida, por conta das animações dos necromorfos, que agora vão pra cima independente se estão sem braço, pegando fogo, sem pele, ou até mesmo músculo, fazendo jus a sua descrição.
Falando dessa questão dos necro, você agora consegue ver suas peles sendo dilaceradas, ossos sendo cortados, músculos sendo expostos, tudo isso ajuda na hora de você saber que já decepou aquela parte que precisa, é espetacular!
O som está muito bom, como disse ali em cima , você não fica confortável, você ouve as tubulações, batidas de coração, desespero do personagem, sua respiração aumentando e diminuindo por conta da tensão, o som do plasma curte rasgando a pele das criaturas, confesso que ainda prefiro o som dos necro do original, era mais agoniante, mas nada que atrapalhe.
Outro ponto que não gostei foi a questão do Isac andar, no original você sentia o peso de sua armadura, era desengonçado, o som era de algo pesado, que de fato era um limitador, no remake, a armadura está mas bonita, mas não tem imponente como no antigo, também não temos a sensação de andar de forma pesada, Isaac anda rápido é de uma maneira que parece que quer ir ao banheiro,mas nada que estrague a experiência.
Agora podemos flutuar nas partes de gravitação, o que ficou bem melhor do que grudar em superfícies, o jogo ganha mais profundidade, exploração, apesar de que nessas partes, temos apenas 2 tipos de inimigos pra enfrentar e ao longo da jogatina pode parecer repetitivo, acredito que o jogo sabe a hora de entregar essas partes.
Sobre a história, agora Isaac fala, coisa que não tínhamos no original, a trama ajustou alguns personagens que não tinha muita relevância no original, fazendo eles tem um pouco mais de importância, mas acredito que nessa parte pode haver alguma divergência a cerca da trama,por conta de algumas mudanças, mas acredito que tenha uma balanço positivo e que talvez num possível remake do 2.
Minha jornada dentro de ishumura foi muito boa, eu sinceramente não sentia essa sentimento com survival horror desde re4, acredito que temos um caminho aberto pra dead space 2 ser um dos melhores remakes já feitos, justamente por ser meu preferido, mas sobre o remake, senti uma atmosfera que soube trabalhar com o que eles tinham em mão, não teve um momento que me senti seguro, a todo momento me senti que nem o Isaac, o que irei encontrar, que está me observando, sem dúvidas, uma experiência fora da curva.
Tirando o problema de otimização, o remake traz um respiro muito grande pra série, o que fizeram aqui foi uma carta de amor aos fãs, tudo esta lá, mas com muito mais consistência e adições que fazem dead space ser um dos melhores survival horror de todos os tempos.

El mejor remake que jugue, respeta el espiritu,. la traba y los sustos que daba el original.
El comentario de mejor puede sonar injusto con los de RE 1, 2 y 3 que no los incluyo, ya que fue necesario re inventar la jugabilidad por evolución técnica de la época.
Juegazo grafica, musicalmente y lo mas importante jugabilisticamente.
