I will admit I prejudged this game when it first came out but after playing it I became obsessed. It does have its flaws and the characters may not be for everyone but I enjoyed my play through experience.

I would sooner call this "interactive experience" than "game" honestly, and as such I cannot recommend it. While I appreciated (and originally sought out this game because of) the work from the many VAs attached to Date Everything, I found myself quickly clicking through what they had to say because it just failed to get me interested. I'd hoped there was some underlying mechanic throughout all of it but... you just walk around and talk to doors. This game was not for me despite my love of narrative games, and I hesitate to suggest that anyone else try it out.

Com 100 personagens (mais alguns outros, se considerar a DLC), você vai ter uma vasta gama de diálogos e histórias em que você decide se vai ser namoro, amizade ou ódio. Com essa variedade de personagens, temos também as mais variadas orientações sexuais e gêneros, validando todo tipo de amor. Além disso, algumas histórias abordam temas mais delicados para alguns, mas não se preocupe, o jogo possui um alerta de tema sensível e te pergunta se você quer pular o diálogo ou se está tudo bem em continuar, assim evitando que alguns temas possam ser um gatilho para seus jogadores, o que eu achei legal da parte dos desenvolvedores.
Infelizmente, o jogo não está em Português-Brasil, o que pode afastar algumas pessoas, já que o jogo é basicamente texto e você tem que entender o contexto para responder apropriadamente. Todos os personagens são dublados de forma magnífica, expressando majestosamente a personalidade de cada personagem que estão representando. Os nomes dos personagens humanos são trocadilhos com os objetos que são antes de se transformar e é muito engraçado descobrir cada um deles. A arte está impecável e deve ter sido muito divertido transformar objetos em pessoas, colocando cada detalhe e personalidade em suas representações. A história principal vai acontecendo aos poucos e te deixa intrigado, mesmo que o que vai te chamar a atenção são as histórias dos objetos. Naturalmente, algumas histórias vão te atrair mais do que as outras, mas todas tem seus temas bem desenhados. Para os amantes de simuladores de encontro, Date Everything! é recheado de conteúdo e vai te manter jogando por um bom tempo.

Devo dizer que completar todas as conquistas de Date Everything! será uma tarefa longa e vai exigir bastante atenção. Ainda que algumas delas sejam sobre tarefas específicas ou sobre colecionar itens, temos três que serão as mais cansativas de alcançar, que são as de conseguir todos os finais de amor, amizade e ódio, cada uma em apenas uma run. Ou seja, você precisará jogar pelo menos três vezes o jogo todo conseguindo cada respectivo final para cada um dos 100 personagens. Por isso, conseguir 100% das conquistas em Date Everything! pode te levar um bom tempo.

It seemed this game was going to have more of a lighthearted sense of humor about it. Instead it had more of an obnoxiously quirky and slightly patronizing vibe. A fun idea, but not really a fun game
Video game where you are trapped in a house with 102 very talented voice actors all doing what I can only describe as "Character bits that go on for far, far too long." In other words, you're being held hostage by theater kids and forced to watch their long improv session, occasionally being asked "would you like to be romantically involved?"

The game is fun, but the fact that you would have to reset your entire game or undo progress with other characters by save hopping if you didn't get the outcome you want takes the fun out of it. Why have a game with 100+ dateables without an option to reset a specific character route? Stay away if you're a perfectionist!

I always wanted a game where I could enter a polycule with my washer and dryer. What? That isn't weird at all.
i found this game overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time: underwhelming because around 70% of the dateables were snooze fests to me, i just clicked through their dialogue and never looked back. didn't help that half of them are just obnoxious and/or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and not the endearing kind. the game failed to live up to the hype i've seen online for me. overwhelming, because i kept awakening new objects hoping the next one would pique my curiosity but like i said, mosty i ended up just rushing through dialogue. and with 100 dateables, you can imagine how quickly the whole deal can turn into a chore. i didn't find the designs (for most of the dateables) or the quirky-chungus-millennial-tumblrina writing really engaging.
i managed to get the love endings for the two dateables who i actually found cute, but don't be fooled by me saying "managed" - it was fairly easy. like i said, i just clicked through dialogue. and the payoff was... nothing, really. no real incentive to keep going with the game.

It has a couple of under-worked details, like for example [spoiler]if you drive Sinclaire completely crazy and then have the second (or third?) conversation with Mateo, he is still his saner self[/spoiler], but I would totally reccomend this game!
If you can ignore little inconsistencies here and there it is immensely enjoyable!
Advice: save often before talking to the objects, especially if you know the conversation is crucial for the plot with this caracter. You absolutely cannot save during the dialog. I will have o replay because I didn' get some outcomes I hoped for and did not save often enough :c

No he probado muchos juegos tipo "citas" pero sin duda este es mi favorito. El gameplay es curioso, y triste pero con suerte, solamente llegue a encontrarme con un bug en todo el juego (ojala algunas día metan más idiomas).
Quizás pueda resultar lento para algunos, pero si simplemente te dejas llevar, conoces a una gran variedad de increíbles personajes, arte bellísimo, música esplendida, y locas pero muy divertidas aventuras desde la comodidad de tu casa.

Sure 100 dateables is a little overwhelming at times, but I will say it's really fun regardless. This is my first play through, so I'm just going with the flow of it all. But I am already looking forward to my next ones where I will aim to get as many of one category as possible. All in all, highly recommend!

Very fun and each new object I meet has me in awe at how much detail was put into this game, honestly a super fun experience, next playthrough I'm going to try getting all the love endings.
Some of the endings and routes could be a little more fleshed out, but I overall enjoy this game, despite feeling like a therapist most of the time. The designs are all very creative and all the voice actors are very talented. And the music compositions for each character are very whimsical and fun. Also, I'm gay for Mac. They bring me immense joy.

200+ years and I did most things in this game. This is the best dating simulator I've ever experienced. A visual novel set in a 3d environment - with 100+ characters, and every single one of those characters are not only voice acted but also varies in personalities! I truly love every single one of these characters, even if some are problematic - but that's okay. It's fictional. (Fiction does not equal reality and has every right to be present in stories.)

Don' t appreciate how every time to do anything I'm reminded of how that character is the object I'm using, be ready for awkward bathroom trips. unless you like the awkward, then go off.

Game is still fire to this day. so worth the like 15 i bought it for on sale, with all the well done voice acting, art, and story. A thing to know tho is you should mabey have a guide for some of the characters like eddie and volt, and dorian, its easy to get hate or get softlocked out of other characters routes.

It's fairly hard to write down my feelings for this. On the one hand I played 18 hours of it, since my inner completionist was triggered by the game, on the other hand I didnt actually enjoy that much of the gameplay. Many characters are boring and shallow, some are super interesting. I think it's the open world contained in one house aspect that was fun, along with searching for all dateables, but you easily lock yourself out of potential endings by making the wrong decision and yes, as many said before this game wants you to be as reassuring as you can to really toxic characters. And still I kinda had my fun? A bit? Yeah, its weird. Also Felicia Day. Love her.

100 characters (or more if you got the dlc) is a lot. i would say its an overkill, but after all, that's what the game is about. i didn't even liked some characters that much. Awesome game, I love that you can choose to either have them hate you, be friends with them, or have them as interests. It is such a loaded cast that every time that I found a new item, I would be looking up going I know that voice from somewhere lol. Overall a good game.

I talked to 36 characters, and not a single one piqued my interest. Dating games are an interesting experience. Sometimes you get characters that are well written and you genuinely enjoy the time you spend interacting with them in whatever limited way gaming allows. And sometimes you're put in a house with 100 characters you can talk to and eventually date, but give up after talking to 36 because it just feels like you're in a house full of people things you'd never want to date.
The voice acting is great. Graphics are fine, some neat designs of the characters.
Much of the writing for the phone-based activities are like an edgy teenager angrily tapping away at their phone. I did not find it to be compelling at all, and I loathed every time I saw a mandatory phone interaction.
The writing of the characters I interacted with wasn't much better. Perhaps it was because there's often no quick escape from a conversation you have no interest in. The only character I was somewhat interested in was Penelope, but she was interested in other household objects. Sure I could flirt with her, but it was beyond obvious I'd simply be a second choice or a choice where everything else failed. I'm 43 years old. I don't have time for that kind of nonsense in real life or video games.
The household objects are often multiple objects. The door guy will be doors that you find. Sports equipment is Sports Equipment guy. But the game doesn't make this apparent. So you might waste your limited conversation ability by talking to the Sports Equipment guy because the game doesn't make it obvious he's multiple things.
In the end, this just isn't for me.

This game has honestly been so fun to play! It did crash the first run through about 10 minutes in, but I'm going to blame my laptop on that. Other than that it has been really fun exploring the dateables. Everyone of the ones I've met thus far; uggghhhhhh sexy.

This review is going to sound very negative, but I well and truly adore this game. It's my favorite Dating Sim of all time, and is likely going to lead to waves in the genera, I'm not sure anything is going to top this. it is BECAUSE I find this game so incredible that I find the drawbacks SO distracting.
I've adored most of my time with Date Everything, the characters are all incredibly entertaining and fun, this is the only dating sim I've EVER played where sex actually feels like a mature and casual part of the narrative. the content warning system is the best I've seen in any game, the voice acting, the art, the story, the gameplay loop, it's all absolutely incredible! I cannot state enough how much I adore this game! If you like dating sims, this is THE dating sim to end all dating sims. I cannot recommend it enough! there are minor issues, some quests aren't conveyed well, some stories writing are weaker than others, little things that can be expected of any game.
BUT! there are two major issues that has actively lessened my experience. The Hate Endings. Not the mere fact that they exist, I love that, I'll always adore a game where you can choose to just be the absolute worst if you want to. The problem is, the vast majority of the time I'm NOT choosing to. I've gotten six hate endings thus far in my playthrough, and only intentionally got one of them. It is INCREDIBLY frustrating to have no indication that you're doing anything wrong , only to be hit with a big "YOU LOSE" splash screen. I don't expect every choice to be obvious, I'm willing to work to try and understand a character, but on some occasions it feels like at some points I made one wrong choice that I didn't understand was wrong, and now I'm gated off. You could argue things are like that in the real world, but at the end of the day, this IS a videogame. Overall, this wouldn't frustrate me so much, if not for my second problem with the game.
The Candy System. The candy system allows you to get a second chance with characters you've gotten a hate ending with after raising your SPECS Stats high enough. there are five candies. there are 100 characters. the goal of the game is to realize all the characters. You cannot realize a character that hates you. you are expected to have a 95% perfect track record MINIMUM to achieve this. I understand the game LETS you finish it without realizing characters that hate you, but frankly this feels like a band aid fix. The chance of failure you cant come back from is even HIGHER than that in actuality, because the candies are tied to each SPECS stat, and each character has a candy (possibly candies?) that will revert them to a friendship ending. I got LUCKY so far, but you could very much find yourself with multiple characters that hate you with the same specs stat, and just be entirely out of luck! I wouldn't mind so much if ANY of this of this was explained to you. The limit on candies, the SPECS requirement, the fact they aren't universal, these are all things you're either entirely uninformed about, or are made incredibly vague. I understand that you can't make everyone like you, I understand that the devs might not want to give the player this miraculous 'no consequences get out of jail free' card, but then WHY give it to us at all? why make it so easy to stumble into someone hating you and then limit the resource it takes to undo that? it's not like the candies are just tossed around either, you need to grind your SPECS stats to near the halfway mark to even get one. It just feels needlessly frustrating and obtuse for what is otherwise a very straight forward and easy going game.
I understand that you don't NEED every character to like you, that you don't NEED to complete the game to finish it, that it's not ABOUT just getting to the end. But what frustrates me so much is that you're explicitly given the task of "Realize Everyone", then you get a hate ending and the game goes "Just kidding! you cant!" you find the candy system and then its "don't worry, you can!" then you realize how the candy system WORKS and the game goes from "well I guess ya cant please everyone" to "I need to save scum or look up a walkthrough because I feel like I'm one step away from locking myself out of content without realizing it." and that simply ISN'T FUN.
Despite these two major faults, I do truly adore this game, and am going to finish it to the best of my ability. There are characters in this story that make me feel seen in ways I never have before, stories where you can FEEL the writers research and passion for the subject bleeding through the screen, this is truly a phenomenal experience! One that is sadly bogged down by a very frustrating pair of systems that seem to work directly against the entire gameplay loop. Please, play this game, I'm sure you'll love it. but go into it knowing about these frustrations before hand.
Funny game, laughed quite a few time but i also love puns so ymmv. Excellent voice acting from most of the cast, catchy music and good art on average. The writing leans towards good with only a few standouts, both good and bad. By the end it's a chore to romance the last few datables, I cant say I didnt enjoy the ending but getting there took about 6-8 hours with characters i didnt want to interact much.
I do recommend it if you like humor and a quick romance game. ♥♥♥♥ Washford, long live Mac and Sam. I'd buy a whole game that is just Mac and Sam.

dorian is the love of my life, and i would listen to his va read the bible. this is one of the most entertaining games i think i have ever played and i will play it over and over until i have played through all of the options and gotten all of the achievements. this is a must play for oddballs & people who read inanimate object smut. 10/10.

They didn't skimp on hiring people who are passionate about voice acting. It really immerses you more than the text alone would.

They really tried to accurately answer the question, "but what if this object was hot?" I admire the dedication to the bit in that regard.
Cons:
- it's super tumblr-y
For better and for worse. The wording can be kind of cringe at times (reading 'himbo' in a game I paid money for was not pleasant), and the archetypes are diverse yet somewhat bland. Sure, you have different ethnicities, so good on ya there, but I don't know how appealing that is if it feels like they were all written by the same person. (If you scoffed at this section, buy the game, you are the intended audience.)
- over-explanation out the wazoo
If you're worried you won't know how to play this game, don't. I found the tutorial unnecessary as a first-time player, I can't even imagine how annoying it is your third save in (which is how many saves you need to get all the unlockables, which is a poor dev choice in my opinion) the game mechanics are super simple, and yet the game tells you how to play so many times.
- limited agency
They didn't manage to overcome the hurdle of 'if the whole game takes place solely in one house, how do we make it feel like a whole world?' The in-game universe feels very small, and the choices you make have pretty obvious consequences. If you call the object names, they don't like you very much, if you're nice, they like you!
Overall, the game is an interesting experience. Worth the full price? Probably not. Worth it on sale? If it seems fun to you after reading this review, sure!

Fully voice acted with hundreds of witty and hilarious characters. I don't think any game will ever be able to do what they did. The art style is amazing as well. Highly recommend for romance lovers!
