While I did enjoy the whole board game portion of this game, I could have gotten that out of any other board game type game. problem 1. all the microtransactions, instead of putting a lot of the stuff around a pay wall, they could have made it so you unlock the next character after your time with the previous one. 2. Only using the game characters, If it allowed you to play as characters from all across the DR franchise it could have been more interesting.

Danganronpa V3 Talent plan expansion. If you liked it in V3 then you will probably like it here too.
I haven't finished the game yet so maybe there is a twist that I haven't seen yet but it seems simple enough so that I can already judge it(I also played the V3 minigame A LOT).

The game is for Danganronpa fans only I don't think anybody that isn't into Danganronpa would actually enjoy it but again if you liked the minigame in V3 then this should be fun but if you disliked it then skip this since it is just that.
I loved it in V3 and was really hoping they would expand on it but I have mixed feeling about how they did it here mostly because I think the boards take to long and there not being a dungeon to walk around in makes this much more boring imo. I was originally imagining them making the dungeon part way more interesting but they simple removed it and now there are only the battles so this game gets repetitive really quickly.
They also could have given us more boards maybe some more difficult ones that give higher stats as unlocks for clearing specific floors but afaik nothing like that is here.

I still give this game a "thumbs up" because they didn't over promise and it still is fun to grind characters for me but I would say that the target audience is insanely small for this.

First and foremost, you're paying over $20 for a gacha system where you can pay more money towards them. They pad out the story at the start so that it runs over the 2hour mark for steam returns and then it ends up just being a board game that doesn't add anything.

This isn't a game, it's just sad. I did return it, it's genuinely not worth it.

I loved the original talent plan in V3 and this is just like a more enjoyable version of that.
If you also liked that, this is worth picking up ON DISCOUNT. I got this for like $6 and love it but if i had actually paid $20 I would be mad as hell.
Also the gacha system is annoying and tedious, good luck getting characters you actually enjoy, but thats gacha for you

看完主线了，没想到最后来了个大活还整的挺好（谁看了不说一句苗木诚牛逼），思来想去还是改成好评了，不过也改变不了这游戏玩法过于重复无聊费时间的本质，甚至没有v3那个才育+rpg好玩，起码那玩意我正经打通关了
最适合这游戏的玩法就是ce跳过人生直接看剧情，喜欢的角色可以把好感事件看一下，抽卡想都别想直接修改，给他脸了，技能点也是直接ce，这样可以最大限度避免坐牢
不过最好的还是直接上网上看剧情剪辑，又省钱又省事

I'm a huge fan of turn based rpgs and what ifs; the way they made it is awesome. i've spent hundreds of hours on mini version of it in dgv3 and i came for more.
an astonishing concept that was greatly embodied. i find the entire thing very creative, and i also love the map design. they literally developed a completely different type of game out of their universe and worked on ≈15 interesting interactions for each of the characters. you can see the weirdest and funniest scenarios come to life (or get something from characters who got 0 screentime in games/anime).
well and i couldn't care less for fanservice which isn't even a major thing here. surely there are things i wish it had, like mukuro as herself, dg zero manga and dg3 anime cast.. but it doesn't make the game any worse to me.

this game is like.. danganronpa merche. and i think it's more than obvious so i'm completely shocked by the amount of people who bought this just to leave a review that they hate and find boring the *genre of the game*? literally spending money i guess blindly on it as well.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a very fan-focused spin-off that mostly exists so the characters can hang out and be silly together. The board game and combat get repetitive fast, but the character interactions make up for it. Progression can feel grindy, yet it’s weirdly relaxing once you settle in. Definitely not required, but fun if you just want more Danganronpa vibes.

The geniuses at Spike Chunsoft took the V3 board game (the thing that stopped me from 100% completing that game), added 4 slightly different versions of every cast member from throughout the series, made a godawful gacha system and added microtransactions that let you get out of endgame softlocks to a USD$20 game.

Diehard fan of the series here, telling you not to buy this.

i've had this game on my switch for years with many more hours compared to my steam, so i can say that surprisingly, i do enjoy this game ... however it could be much better.

as reviewers often state here: this is a good game for dgr diehards, or dgr fans interested in fanservice between their favs. personally, i view this game as a little time waster. if i'm bored, i'll hop on for an hour or so developing a character i like, but nothing really more than that.

i can enjoy and appreciate the simplicity of this game, and think it's >just fine< for the most part, but some things i always complain about are: the vs battle system could be more interactive, we could've had more characters (yuta asahina, taichi fujisaki, the anime cast, and maybe even novel + manga characters as nice advertisement to read the novels and mangas), we should've gotten new and improved sprites for the cast across all games. and finally, cutscenes!! cutscenes, and more secret events!! we have so many characters in this game interacting with each other, and it's honestly crazy how we have little to basically no secret events with the full-blown art style.

i would really love to see these things + more in a future summer camp game, or even a surprise update with dlc. i don't care how long it'd take, as long as it's made with dgr fans in the mind and heart.

... also, mukuro needs to be recognized as her own character, not junko. kthx

He jugado un rato, lo suficiente como para leer el prólogo y echar un par de runs. Básicamente es como un Mario Party, pero con elementos de combate JRPG con los personajes de todos los juegos de la franquicia juntos, lo cual está curioso. La gracia del juego radica en hacerte runs de 50 tiradas por el mapa del 2do juego, para ir farmeando moneda para el gachapón, y así ir obteniendo más personajes y tal, para aquellos con ganas de echar muchas horas de farmeo (no es mi caso por el momento) y que les guste la franquicia, es el juego ideal.

本ゲームの良いところは本編で見ることができなかったキャラ同士のイベントが見れることです。
悪いところはその他すべてです。

どうしても買いたいのであれば、セールで500円くらいになってから買うべきです。

端的に言えば、出来の悪いソシャゲーです。
すごろくで育てたキャラをバトルで使用し、ガチャコインを稼ぐルーティンになってます。

開始直後で選べるキャラはシリーズ主人公のみで、キャラ開放は"ガチャ"を回して引く必要があります。つまり運ゲーです。
にもかかわらず、このゲームは"登場する全キャラですごろくをクリアする"必要があります。運が悪ければ、数十時間は無駄にするでしょうね。

また、課金してアイテムを購入できるようですが、それはセーブデータ単位でしか保存されません。
つまり、"セーブデータを削除したら課金が無かったことになります"。

シンプルに糞です。

会話イベントが準備されていますが、"○○と××の会話を見たい！"のようなキャラ推し、カプ推しファンの要求は満たされないと思います。

逆に、ダンロンシリーズ全部大好き！という人であれば、満足できると思います。

ボタン表示設定が保持されない不具合があります。
私の場合、Xboxコントローラを使用していますが、起動のたび、キーボード設定に戻されます。　

じゃあキーマウ前提なのかと言えば、そういうわけではなく、マウス操作も一切できません。
せめて他シリーズみたく起動時に何で操作するのか聞いてくれませんかね…

As a massive danganronpa fan this game is uhhhhhhh...

If you enjoyed the tower minigame in V3 like me you will enjoy a bit of the RPG Elements of the game but eventualy you will hit a wall where you will clear the highest tower level and you will be stuck just mindlesly AFK farming for the materials to craft the last weapons you dont really need. Same thing applies to the dev mode where eventualy you will just have to grind for scenes for no reason because you have to complete dev mode once with the Summer skin and the U rarity of the card to get all the scenes ( and by the tower you reach max tower level you really wont need the other U cards maxed )

In the end its just a little fun spin off , if you wanna gush over some of the characters go get it otherwise avoid it

ファンアイテムとしては嬉しいものだけど、ゲーム性を求めてプレイするべきではない。

このゲームの長所はダンガンロンパシリーズのキャラクター同士のIF時空での交流や、収集要素であるワクワクカード（おそらく過去の版権含めたミニキャライラスト）、あとは上記キャラクターの水着・新規立ち絵が見られること。
歴代黒幕、マスコット、語れば重大なネタバレになるキャラまで、ゲームシリーズのキャラであればほぼ全員を網羅している。
シリーズのゲーム性ではなくキャラクターが好きな人にとってはとても良い一面を持つだろう。
また、道程は苦難を極めるがメインストーリー（カケライベント）も出来は良いように感じる。これは作品ファンとしての贔屓目が入っているかもしれない。

そんな長所をかき消すのがゲームとしての内容の薄さだ。
プレイ出来るのはメインコンテンツであるすごろくゲームと、すごろくで育てたキャラを使ったバトルモード。
すごろくゲームは全キャラ共通の1マップ、一部マスを除けばイベントは全て共通。
ストーリークリアのためには1周30分程度のすごろくゲームを最低でも64キャラクター分（同キャラクタークリアはカウントされない）、ざっくり32時間をキャラクターが違うだけで同じマップほぼ同じ内容のすごろくゲームを繰り返す必要がある。
好きなキャラクターでプレイしようとかゲームを円滑に進めようとか思えばサブコンテンツであるバトルモードを進める必要があるため、実際の時間は倍かかると思った方がいい。
長所として挙げたキャラクター同士の交流も特定のマスに止まらなければ見られないし低レアキャラクターではイベントをすべて見ることもできない、収集要素もすべてコンプリートしようとすればバトルモードを進めてドロップ率の低い上位コインを数十枚集める必要がある。
また、バトルモードを進めるために強いキャラクターを育てようとすればバトルモードで集めたコインを使ってガチャで低確率排出のレアカードを当てるか、課金で購入するかが必要。
特定のキャラだけ集められればいいと思うかもしれないが、キャラクター入手はガチャシステムもしくは課金でのみ可能。ガチャで排出キャラクターを絞ることは出来ない。ちなみに、私の推しキャラの最高レアが手元に来たのは64キャラ中60番目くらいだった。
とにかく、内容の薄さを補うかのように水増しが行われまくっており、作品ファンでも途中で投げ出す出来だ。
実績解除率がすべてを物語っている。10キャラクリアの段階で実績取得率20％を切っており、エンディングまでの道程の半分30キャラクリアは10％以下だ（2026年1月11日現在）。
楽しいのは最初の数回で、そこから先はダンガンロンパシリーズに対する信仰心を試す作業に変わる。

筋金入りの作品ファン・推しキャラ持ちなら買ってもいいかもしれない。だが、本当に時間に余裕があり、かつ自身の作品・キャラに対する愛を試されることを覚悟する必要がある。

할인해서 해봤는데 계속해서 즐기기는 힘든 느낌입니다.

V3 오마케 시절에는 단발성이여서 그런지 재미가 있었지만 이 게임은 그때랑 비교해서 시스템도 바뀐 것이 거의 없고,
플레이 타임 늘리기 때문인지 필요없는 저성장 구간도 늘어났고, 그 구간을 벗어나도 굳이 계속 할 이유를 찾을 수 없었습니다.

사실 게임을 사는 주 목적은 캐릭터 간 커뮤 이벤트를 보는 건데 그 하나를 위해서 50턴짜리 보드게임 + RPG 전투 뺑뺑이를 계속 돌려야 한다는 것은 수지타산에 안 맞는 것 같습니다. 이 시스템이 처음 다가올 때는 되게 재밌어보이지만 계속 하다보면 결국 지루한 단순 작업밖에 남지 않거든요. 커뮤 이벤트가 달달한 것은 사실이지만 그걸 맛보겠다고 굳이 필요없는 시간을 낭비하는 건 플레이에 있어서 부정적일 수밖에 없어요. 그렇다고 커뮤 이벤트를 편하게 해금할 수 있는 수단도 마련되어 있지 않습니다.

뭔가 연출이나 그래픽적인 면에서 보는 맛이라도 있었다면 단순 반복 구간을 참을 수 있었을지도 모르지만 고전 RPG 스타일을 그대로 사용해서 그런 점도 없었습니다.

2X2 소식 듣고 복습도 할 겸 샀는데도 들인 시간이 아까워요.

This game sucks.

It's fan service for Danganronpa Fans, as other reviews say, but oh god, this game literally sucks, the only thing that kept me playing was to get the 100% in achievements, what a waste of time and money.

말도 많고, 문제도 많은 시리즈라지만 V3 를 제일 재미있게 했고요.
제가 가장 좋아하는 캐릭터가 가장 빨리 죽어버리는 바람에 더 다양한 모습을 보고 싶은 마음에 구매했습니다.
물론 한글 지원도 안되는 게임에다, 저는 한국어만 가능한 븅신이엇지만.... 여기서 다른 아이들과 하하호호 웃으며 즐겁게 지내는 최애가 보이니 전부 용서가 되더라구요.
그러니까 V3도 리메이크 해줄거죠?

mano eu amo danganronpa de um jeito absurdo a franquia inteira me marcou mas danganronpa s ultimate summer camp é aquele tipo de jogo que tu joga cinco minutos e ja fica pensando porque isso existe de verdade parece que pegaram um monte de ideia jogaram num balde e falaram pronto ta feito so que nada combina nada evolui nada empolga o jogo parece vivo só na capa porque quando tu entra é so grind sem fim um tabuleiro gigante que tu roda mil vezes sem vontade nenhuma e sempre acaba no mesmo lugar sem ganhar nada util
e o dinheiro meu deus o dinheiro desse jogo é uma piada sem graça tu precisa dele pra tudo absolutamente tudo e o jogo te da umas moedas que parecem esmola tu mal pega e já acaba tu tenta upar personagem mas gasta tudo tenta comprar carta gasta tudo tenta fazer qualquer coisa e gasta tudo ai volta pro tabuleiro e fica rodando igual um tonto repetindo a mesma rotina chata até cansar parece que fizeram o sistema de moeda pra te segurar preso e te obrigar a jogar mais horas do que qualquer ser humano merece e o pior é que nunca vale a pena nada rende nada muda é tipo trabalhar de graça

e mesmo eu amando danganronpa e cada personagem mano eles ficaram tudo raso demais nesse jogo as interacoes parecem copiadas coladas repetidas sem energia nenhuma tu fala com eles e parece que to vendo um replay infinito da mesma fala o fanservice é jogado na nossa cara de um jeito estranho tipo toma praia ai e pronto ta feito nao tem profundidade nao tem charme nao tem historia nao tem nada que lembre o clima da serie principal fica parecendo um jogo mobile reciclado que alguem tirou da gaveta e tacou no mercado so pra encher o bolso vendendo um nome famoso

взяла для коллекции ронпы, игра не стоит своего времени и денег. мило наблюдать за всеми персонажами серии, их итеракции бывают очень забавными, но все это сплошной гринд, со скучной реализацией. для прокачки одной карты ты должен потратить час на бездумное бросание кубика. автобой только на клетках пг3дuлoва, все остальные действия ты делаешь сам, тогда в чем смысл залупени, если ее нельзя оставить афк дрочиться?

с транзакций в СИНГЛПЛЕЕРЕ в ГАЧУ меня порвало. а xyли не сделали платную гачу в предыдущих играх? хочешь подарок для персонажа? донать, малютка. это игру рекомендовать не хочется даже по большой скидке, потому что ничего интересного из себя это не представляет. эти ивенты между персами можно и на вики почитать, не обломитесь

If i could give games a mixed rating, i would absolutely do that here.

This game is bad. As in, its overpriced, the gameplay is grindy, there's a gacha system where you could outright buy the cards with real money, and if youre going into this game not knowing who any of the characters are you will not get any answers.

HOWEVER. I still like the game, despite everything I mentioned.
What the game lacks in gameplay, to me it makes up for in character interactions. I find them fun, and you get to see everyone interact outside of a killing game setting, and with characters from other dr games. I also admit that i was a big fan of Ultimate Talent Development Plan, a minigame from V3 that this game is based off of, so I liked the character building part of this game.
...I dont have anything positive to say about Battle Mode. At least in UTDP you had a map to walk on when you went from boss to boss, here it's just battles. And that gets dull real quick.

If youre a fan of Danganronpa, liked the UTDP minigame from V3 and this game is on sale, id say go for it.
But if youre anyone else, dont. Please use your money on literally anything else.

Fell for the positive reviews (+ a very good Steam sale at the time) and, honestly, some of them are kinda disingenuous. Basically, it's a more polished take on the board game from V3, but still nothing special. All characters play the same, with 95% of the cast locked away behind a gacha system whose only purpose is to have an excuse for high rarity units and to artificially extend the grind for a successful run. I think it would be easier to just tell you what you get and what you don't when you buy this shii.

A pointless battle tower where you get to fight generic enemies forever with no end in sight.
A battle system that makes the average RPGMaker game look complex.
A tedious gacha which takes countless runs to even have enough currency for a 10 consecutive pull.
Redrawn sprites, some of which are very uninspired or just weird looking.
Two new boring tracks that you will get tired of really fast.

Unique moves or strategies for each unit.
Actually interesting dialogue events that don't feel forced or out of character.
CG / Concept Art gallery (Really?)
New voicelines.

It's not like you will hate it or anything, but it will grow old fast. It certainly did for me. I paid around 5 bucks and still feel cheated lol. Just don't buy it, even for "Completionist" purposes, especially if you already own V3.
