Если серьезно, на уровне аленшутера, только в тыщу раз хуже )
Cube Destroyer звучит как что-то взрывное и безумное но на деле это больше похоже на скучную арифметику с кубиками. Ты там бегаешь по этим бесконечным уровням из блоков и жмёшь кнопку чтобы всё рушить но ощущение будто просто удаляешь файлы а не участвуешь в разрушении. Графика простая даже слишком будто игру собрали за выходные на уроке информатики. Звуки тоже никакие один и тот же хлюп при каждом разрушении уже через пять минут начинает выводить из себя. Уровни повторяются как кошмары после переработки одни и те же формы одни и те же ловушки только чуть быстрее или чуть медленнее. Нет ни адреналина ни удовольствия просто монотонное тыканье в экран в надежде что станет интереснее. Становится нет. Не понравилась.
Игра буквально реализовала то, как я в детстве рисовал чубриков в войнушке с видом сверху. Было интересно поиграть в ожившую фантазию.

It's an okay-ish 10 year old prototype of a top-down shooter. Feels like someone's university assignment. Levels are re-hash of same 3 structures and 3 enemies, on a slightly different background and tileset. Some ground materials clash with the walls and make it very difficult to see the walls. No powerups, no new mechanics, very linear gameplay.

처음 1~2시간 재밌고 그 뒤엔 바뀌는 거라곤 총알 날아오는 갯수만 늘어나니 지루해짐.
An extremely generic top-down game that any amateur developer could throw together in about a day. There's little variety, challenge, or fun to be had. All the levels feel exactly the same which gets stale after just the first few.

Графика — неоновая дискотека для глаз, саундтрек — будто DJ зарядил тебе прямо в мозг. Идеально для жаркого перекура или когда надо сбросить агрессию.
Cube destroyer, as the name implies, is a simple game where you either kill the red cubes shooting at you, or be killed. There's a bit of bullet hell to this game, as the more enemy spawns the more bullets you have to dodge. Staying still is not an option, you constantly need to move around.
(TIP: I find the fishbowl movement around the corners of the map the best at dealing with most enemies in the earlier levels)
Although it's not my cup of tea, I will give the game kudos for actually being playable to those not familiar with the genre like me, and for being fair in the scaling of difficulty as you go up the levels. The maps are wide-area, pattern-tiled spaces with some walls and obstacles here and there. Nothing too complex, flashy nor eye-straining to see. And the pixel music is fitting to these block "cube" characters.
Do give Cube Destroyer a try!

In 2022 the price was increased from 0,79 (which was a fair price for it I would say) to 3,99€ for no other good reason other that they can make it seem like you are getting a better deal when they put it on a 90% off sale.

Механика игры проста: нужно разрушать кубы, избегая столкновений с ними и собирая бонусы. Идея сама по себе довольно стандартная для аркадных игр, но в этом жанре можно найти много интересных моментов, если игра хорошо реализована.
Графика игры простая, но вполне подходит для жанра. Стилизация и анимации не отличаются высокой детализацией, но всё сделано достаточно чисто и функционально. Однако тут и начинается первый минус — по мере того как я играл, становилось очевидно, что в плане визуала игра не предлагает ничего нового или интересного.
Управление в игре интуитивно понятное, и не требует особых усилий для освоения. Это плюс, если вам хочется провести пару часов за простым развлечением. Однако, с течением времени аркадная механика начинает казаться монотонной, и играть становится не так увлекательно. Бонусы, которые появляются, не сильно изменяют ход игры, а схему управления не удаётся развить достаточно, чтобы сделать игру более разнообразной.
Врагов или каких-либо продвинутых элементов нет — просто падающие кубы. Это приводит к ощущению, что игра становится слишком предсказуемой и не развивает свой потенциал. Не хватает новых уровней, механик или хотя бы каких-то захватывающих ситуаций.
Плюсы

Игра не требует большого времени на освоение, что идеально подходит для краткосрочных игровых сессий.
✅ Хорошо подходит для расслабления:
Если вы ищете игру для того, чтобы расслабиться и не думать, Cube Destroyer будет неплохим выбором на несколько минут.

Game is mechanically simple, just top-down shooter in small closed arenas. Areas are poor on detail. Only walls, enemies and player itself. So visuals are quite boring. There's no progression. All fair. Go to level, hit various mobs, dodge missles. And that's good. It's even quite challenging. Untill full understanding of bots pattern. Then there's will be easy slaying.
Overall game is pretty fine. It's short, but costs it's price.

Zaskakująco pozytywna strzelanka z widokiem z góry. Naszym zadaniem jest zniszczyć instalacje wroga. Rodzajów jest pięć. Szybkostrzelne działko, powolne obracające się działko, oraz dwa spawnery mobilnych oponentów z czego jeden wytwarza przeciwników będącym alter ego naszego awatara, a drugi który generuje dwa rodzaje mobilniaków: strzelający pojedynczym dużym pociskiem i strzelający potrójnym. Poruszamy się klawiaturą, strzelamy myszką - prostota aż bije z tego tytułu, ale nie jest to wada. Gdy już obczai się taktykę na każdy poziom gra nie jest aż tak trudna jak może się wydawać (chociaż oczywiście idzie kilka jobów wyartykułować pod nosem) i ukończenie 75 poziomów zajmuje około 3 godzin. Czego zabrakło? Może licznika czasu i gwiazdek zależnych od tempa w jakim przeszliśmy level, by był jakikolwiek sens powtarzać poziomy.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

The game objective is simple: just shoot anything that moves. It is a fun, fast game that you can beat in a couple of hours. Not only that, but the soundtrack matches the game perfectly. Overall, it's a fun and easy game to kill time.
Pretty simple and straightforward - destroy everything that moves. The simplicity makes it pretty light, without having to worry about paying attention to any story. It takes about a couple of hours to beat all the levels, it's fun and the music matches the fast-pace of the game.

Пострелушка вполне себе удачная, правда мне не понравилось в ней, что на каждом уровне имеются "спауны" врагов (т.е. пока не уничтожить определённый объект из него будут бесконечно появляться противники).

They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Top Down Shooter Pack" is just a basic Unity asset pack to show people how to use Unity to create top down shooters, but it's been removed from the asset store, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Freedomize Studio.

Too basic?
I like it - there's some skill in the co-ordination between the keyboard movement and the mouse aim. There's room for creative tactics in how you chip away at the mixture of static and moving enemies across a variety of maps. The music is surprisingly good, and one particular track has the same beat as your weapon's rate of fire which is satisfying.
But there's no highscores, no achievements, and the gameplay doesn't make up for the lack of features. I wouldn't say it has longevity or depth. The walls blend in to the ground on some levels, and enemies are nearly always shooting you from off-screen - which is frustrating when one hit kills you. The ending is an anti-climax. What looks like a web browser game shouldn't have been 400 MB and £4.
I did find some enjoyment in it, but I can't remember how I got it, and if they're going to charge £3.99 then it needs to have some merit. Would I recommend it to friends? I can't assume they'd enjoy something [i]so[/i] basic over a lot of the better games on Steam for the same price, and I do wish it had some basic features.

In "Cube Destroyer" spielt man einen kleinen Blauen Würfel mit einen dranmontierten Geschütz und muss in kleinen Arenen andere Geschütz-Würfel und ähnliche Schießwütige Gegner abballern um weiter zukommen.
Wird man abgeschossen, startet sofort der nächste Versuch. Ein simples Prinzip das schnell süchtig machen kann, mir jedoch hat der Schwierigkeitsgrad zu schnell angezogen. Technisch ist das ganze auf das nötigste reduziert.
Für einen schmalen Taler kann man sich "Cube Destroyer" für ein paar kurzweilige Runden mal anschauen, man darf nur von der Präsentation nicht zu viel erwarten.

зачем я в это поиграл
I am writing this review in a poor yet hopeful attempt at trying to obtain steam points, so if any of you would be so nice as to give me steam points, I would greatly appreciate it. Games alright, would recommend if you are looking for a competitive experience.

It's boring and unimaginative.
Your goal is to kill everything on screen and the only difference between levels (of which there are 75) is the placement of enemies and walls. That's the whole game.
The graphics consist of 3D models of cubes and other blocky shapes, on top of flat surface (with short walls placed randomly here and there) with thoughtless textures on it (that often make it harder to play, especially in motion, by blurring together with bullets) and stock images of space as a background. I'm sorry but that's not "minimalistic," It's just crap.
As for music, from what I've heard in game there are around 4 tracks, one of which is chiptune (which is, by the way, the only thing I actually enjoyed in this game) and the rest is composed of some sort of rock music.
Even though I bought it at a sale (and I'm going to get some of the money back, by selling the steam cards,) I feel like I wasted my money. I'm sad for the people who bought it a the full price

Eu recomendo o jogo, muito bonito e rápido, muito fluido, roda muito bem até na calculador do 1,99.
O jogo tem bastante fases e é bem desafiador, o sistema de levou tiro, morreu é bem legal, mas te faz jogar um popuco, dar um ar, voltar, dar mais um ar e assim por diante, porque é irritante as vezes rsrs.
Única coisa que eu sinto falta e que me traz muita motivação nesse tipo de jogo são "conquistas", nem que fossa a cada X fases.
