Not too bad of a game. Got this from an online code bundle. Kind of fun to waste time on. VA is not my fave and wish you could use a controller.
Graphics look ok. Playable. Voice acting is pretty bad. Mission design quite repetitive and not in a fun way. Controls are definitely not modern. Handbrake is useless, unless you want to crash everytime you use it. Minimap and arrows are not very precise too.
I can see how it could have been a decently fun game in 2009, but right now it's a bit too janky for me. I would rather replay the good old Chase H.Q. on NES for some quick fun in similar fashion.
Bardzo ciekawa gra, przypomina mi serial „Kobra: Oddział Specjalny” z Niemiec. Dużo pościgów, więc fanom serialu i wyścigów polecam zarówno grę, jak i serial. Działa też na słabszych komputerach.

Это видеоигра из того времени, когда трава была зеленее, игры делали лучше, была жива серия Driver и GTA выходила чаще одного раза за 15 лет... Так, о чем это я... Ага, [b]Crash Time III[/b] – ничем не примечательный аркадный автосим про европейских полисменов под прикрытием. Этакая смесь Driver и Burnout. Разве что из тачки нельзя выйти и разрушаемость авто попроще. Автопарк большой, от карта и трехколесного мопеда, и до автобуса и БТРа. Есть погони по городу/автобану, есть кольцевые гонки по треку, есть трюковые заезды, скучное патрулирование тоже есть, какой-то сюжет имеется, даже перестрелки завезли (но лучше было бы без них). На момент 2025 года запускается и работает хорошо, но вертикальную синхронизацию придется включать из настроек видеокарты или стороннего софта. За 6-8 часов геймплея надоесть не успевает, поэтому можно ознакомиться и поностальгировать по тем временам...

It's a simple racing game, but it's effective. The idea? Race around streets at high speed, catching crooks, shooting at suspects, ramming enemies and winning races. Other than 4 or 5, this may very well be the next best Crash Time game, other than maybe Alarm for Cobra 11: Nitro.
Good graphics, fun gameplay, and nonstop hardcore action! Great for racing die-hards who have an interest in protecting the innocent while loving spectacular crashes! Not to forget about the absolutely awesome music, and you can even add your own music tracks and listen to them as you chase down terrorists!
There are a few issues, however. For example, there are a few minor glitches, and the voice acting is horrible. There are even errors in the captions (at some point, Ben says "I was born curious" but it reads "I'm was born curious"). But! I can cut the developers some slack - the game was completely translated from German.
I for one think this game is absolutely awesome. Unfortunate that Synetic is now a defunct company.

[h3]Gameplay, Missions & World [/h3]
The game takes place in two cities, each of which split by teleport markers. These cities are large and offer a variety of vistas & environments including CBD's, an Airport, Parks, Racetracks, Harbours, Highway's, a circus plot & more.
There is no on foot gameplay. The cities can be roamed in by the player after selecting a starting zone during which they can find 3 roaming cars to either race, tail to arrest or eventually hijack, otherwise you'll be driving the streets & highways at your own free will. While you can use the free roam to reach mission start zones, they can also be selected from the menu to save you time.
Missions come in the form of cases and each case has acts to them. They range from tailing cars, destroying or disabling criminal vehicles, street or track racing, disarming bombs, escorting delegates or checkpoint races.
[h3] Vehicles, Destruction & Unlocks [/h3]
You’ll unlock new vehicles with each successful case and they can be used during free-roam or during select missions. Most cases involve disabling cars by ramming or pit-manoeuvring them. Specific missions provide a Remote Controlled Explosive device and the ability to shoot from the vehicle. In regards to shooting, the closest example I can provide is Vin Diesel’s Wheelman but more jank & awful controls.
The vehicles & world are fun to drive around in. Each vehicle has unique handling models and the cars crumble during impacts even losing tires depending on impact. Despite the promotional material displaying cinematic crashes, they occur during player impacts & only replay it through the existing camera angle.
[h3]Audio, Dialogue, Voice Acting & Story [/h3]
The game is apparently based on a German TV show which explains the so-bad-its-good English dub voice acting. The characters have monotone voices with occasional peaks in inflection but due the COPIOUS amounts of dialogue it makes the story tiring. During the introduction alone there is a major information dump consisting of 6-10 paragraphs explaining the game mechanics with no visual assistance, it's hilarious. To put it simply, you won't be playing Crash Time for the story because it's completely nonsensical, bloated & the voice acting will put you to sleep if you pay attention.
[h3] Controller Support [/h3]
If you wish to use a controller it needs to be plugged in upon launch and must be used to access the main menu screen otherwise it won't be recognised. You can rebind the controls in the settings to something more fitting, as the original settings aren’t intuitive.
HOWEVER there are no controller icons in the rebind screen instead listing the inputs as BUTTON 1-10, as a result the early game can be frustrating as you learn the controls.
[h3]Conclusion [/h3]
Having played no prior titles in the franchise, Crash Time 3 is a surprisingly fun yet stupid buddy cop driving experience. The extra controls for shooting & other aspects are janky, the Story is a cluster ♥♥♥♥ & the voice acting is laughably bad but the driving is solid, the damage model is satisfying and traffic density is high but more importantly the car list is vast ranging from sedans & SUV’s to Industrial & Racing (Touring & F1).
[b]All in all, I believe any arcade racer or open world driving game player can enjoy Crash Time 3 but I don’t think you should come into this with the idea it is similar to Burnout or other titles with the exception of Vin Diesel’s Wheelman or early-to-late 2000’s standalone PC titles.[/b]
[i]Crash Time 3 is $8.95AUD at full price and I think it’s worth the price of admission but I highly recommend picking it up during sales at $1.70 although the last sale was September 2020.[/i]

The production quality of this game has certainly gone up since its predecessor, with one new and interconnected story to play through, unlike the short and disconnected story arcs of CT2. When you start off with the story in this game, it may seem like you are taking on separate story arcs at first, such as going undercover as a car thief or a tuner club member, but as the story progresses, you slowly find out the truth behind them and how they are all somehow connected to each other, leading to the finale that you see when you first start the game, before the 7-day flashback to the actual start of the game. A neat idea.
Regarding the missions themselves, they are now structured into days, with 8 in total plus a bonus 9th day in the end. Unlike in CT2, they are no longer confusing to start, with all of them accessible through the Missions menu, though you might miss one or two missions because the game may prioritize starting some missions over others. Some of them might still be rather basic or tedious like what we used to have in CT2, but this time, basically all of the mission have some important or interesting dialogue before, during and/or after them which helps them not be boring most of the time. Now you will really get hooked onto the story and will just want to keep playing until the end.
The missions themselves are still the typical Crash Time missions where you just do some driving to some location and doing whatever, though the ramp platforming missions are basically nonexistent now compared to how abundant they were in the previous game. However, as stated earlier, their presentation has improved significantly, not just through dialogue but also through gameplay, with a more interesting world to drive through, more engaging mission goals and limits, and the newly introduced gun available in some missions, making for more intense action than simply ramming into and stopping opponents all the time. Looking back after having played CT5 Undercover, I personally think this game's story is the best in the series. I just love the buildup of excitement to the last few missions of the story and how everything connects together.
About the cars... Driving physics are basically the same as CT2's, though with more sensitive and loose steering. The cars still like to oversteer in a fun way, even more so (or even excessively on some cars) with the more sensitive controls. While some cars did not return from CT2, some of those that did received facelifts, and/or new variants, such as the Semir and Ben Sport and DCTW or the Pickup T2 monster truck. However, many new vehicles were introduced, such as some new supercars and muscle cars for instance. Oh, and a three-wheeler called the "Pacemaker", and it even has a turbo version! The weird stuff from the last game didn't go away, with the go-kart, "excavator" forklift thing and... the APC, which, according to Semir, "...is getting real boring. This is the third game in the series, and the third time the Synetic guys make me drive a tank..." Ahhh, I love how the wacky dialogue was not only kept, but even improved upon as well!
Gone are the excessively bright visuals of CT2 and in is... a piss filter... for some reason... Certainly a stylistic change, but one that draws mixed reception... Day and night cycle is great though, it really helps the game look more interesting. Regarding the maps though, I really like the new city map, it has a bunch of new modern architecture found in certain districts, and even a few skyscrapers as well, which give it a fresh look. The classical and industrial buildings can still be found in other areas though, which helps give it variety. The autobahn map though, let's just say I'm not so impressed by it, since while it may be interesting to drive around the docks, the residential area and the racetrack, I don't really like the rest of the map and its lack of much elevation, especially compared to the previous game's autobahn map. That isn't really much of an issue for me though, it's still an alright map... Model quality remains basically the same as the previous game, which is to say the cars hold up well while the maps are generally alright but are low-poly and have low texture quality in some areas, though this is not as obvious as in CT2.
With all of that being said, PLEASE try out this game for yourself. It has always been cheap and will continue to stay so, even more so during sales when it goes for a dollar or less. The Crash Time series has always been a hidden gem...
(tldr: much of the same as ct2 but story and gameplay is improved, cars are still fun to drive and satisfying to crash, graphics still hold up well, price is very cheap so go get it pls... p.s... if you want to play through the game again but with improved graphics and physics, i recommend you try out the crash time 3 remastered mod for crash time 5 undercover)

Crash Time 3 is a game in which you are penalised for crashing cars or objects during a mission. The only exception is when you're chasing a suspect; otherwise, you're literally fined for crashing and can fail the mission because of it.
Having already played the second instalment, I never understood why the series isn’t simply called "Alarm für Cobra 11", since the main characters and the entire plot are based on that TV series.
Compared to the second part, the third game also feels decent — though sometimes dull or even shoddy in places — but it still manages to be enjoyable. The car fleet hasn’t changed much since the last game; a couple of new models were added, and the old ones got slight visual updates.
Alongside the bomb-on-wheels missions from part two, they added car-mounted shooting — but don’t get too excited — this isn’t America, it’s Germany, so you can only shoot when authorised. Another thing is the addition of night-time, which helps to add some visual variety, though it doesn't significantly change the gameplay. Beyond these features, I didn’t notice any other major gameplay additions.
It feels like the developers had a limited budget and time, which shows in small details such as repetitive character models in cars (during suspect arrests, you can sometimes spot the exact same character models used for the protagonists sitting in the suspects' cars); or the fact that you can literally swap the map with part two through the file system; or even that the game uses the same icon as part two.
I didn’t understand the star rating system for missions — it doesn’t reward you with anything, and earning 5 stars without taking shortcuts or using the fastest cars seems nearly impossible.
This game took me a little longer to complete than the second part, but I still feel like the second part had more content despite a shorter storyline.
The map in the third game is good; the detail is decent, the locations are well thought-out, and it’s generally larger in size — but personally, the map from the second game left a stronger impression.
Should you buy this game? I believe that if you want a modest game with a nostalgic 2000s vibe, then the discounted price is worth considering. It offers around 10–20 hours of content before devolving into repetitive bot races.
Crash Time 3 ist ähnlich wie sein Vorgänger aufgebaut und bietet wieder einmal die Typischen Missionen eines Cobra 11 Spiels. Natürlich gibts es auch hier wieder Verfolgungsjagden, Beschattungen und Rennstrecken.
Die Missionen sind an sich wieder ganz nett gemacht und bringen auch ihren Spaß, auch wenn ich diese Blitzermission hasse und den kleinen Pupswagen noch dazu xD. Wie in jedem Cobra 11 Spiel erwartet einen aber immer wieder dasselbe und die Missionen sind auch hier wieder fast alle gleich. Gut was anderes habe ich fairerweise auch nicht erwartet, daher ist das okay.
Was ich jedoch schwach umgesetzt finde, sind die Rennen auf der einen Rennstrecke die es im Spiel gibt. Es ist echt langweilig bei jedem Rennen immer die selbe Strecke abfahren zu müssen und das 4 mal in einem Rennen. Gut, manchmal ist die Strecke auch gespiegelt, aber das macht nun wirklich nicht den Unterschied. Das haben die anderen Teile besser gemacht. Sonst gibt es aber auch Straßen oder Offroadrennen, wobei die Offroadrennen auch immer auf der selben Strecke stattfinden.
An sich ist das Spiel also ganz gut, hätte es nicht so viele von diesen Racing-Parts auf den selben Strecken von sich.
Ich kann es euch empfehlen. Leider geht das Spiel nur 7 Stunden, der Vorgänger ging um die 11

It's basically more Crash Time 2, with the same physics, AI and mission structure. And that good 'cuz CT2 was lots of fun.
However there's WAY too many tailing missions, and way too many circuit races around the same 1 or 2 race tracks. These missions feel like 33% of the game, whereas CT2 had only like 2 trailing missions, and the circuit races took place across the entire city, and were much more exciting and challenging. Felt like there was more variety, more intense city-wide chases, and better point-to-point checkpoint races.
I guess I mostly had fun with CT3, but coming fresh off CT2, it doesn't quite have the same magic. Can't readily recommend this game.

Not bad, but the story is pretty weak. It could have been its own Driver San Francisco, though. (Old review from November 2024, now more detailed from August 10, 2025, after finishing 84% of the main story):
Crash Time 3 is a typical indie racing game with its strengths and weaknesses. In some ways, it even surpasses Crash Time: Undercover, but overall, the experience feels mixed.
Let’s start with the downsides. The graphics are noticeably outdated, and the gray filter and edge blur on the screen, which can’t be fully turned off, don’t exactly make things more vibrant. Some missions, like training for criminal chases or truck hold-ups, feel unnecessary and just stretch out the story campaign. The "Rockstar games" rating system doesn’t really make the wait any better either. This downside isn’t critical, which the narrator even points out at the start of the game.
But it’s still not clear why you have to complete the mission with 5-star ratings in all criteria—no missed pistol shots, less than 10% car damage, and 5k city damage—if the mission automatically fails anyway when the car gets wrecked. It’s a weird move from the developers, especially since the rating doesn’t affect 100% completion.
The most frustrating part: the game doesn’t live up to its name. Sure, in free roam and races you can shoot and even blow up opponents’ cars, and civilian traffic too, but for the sake of fun they could’ve added missions like in NFS Undercover with its double-cross concept: wreck a couple of cops’ cars, cause some city damage, etc. Doing routine traffic cop stuff was kinda boring.
However, the car physics aren’t as rough as they seem. The AI is more forgiving than in CT-U ( https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199217001154/recommended/1687700 ), but bots still cheat in track and off-road races, sticking to strictly programmed paths with spots to hit the gas and places to brake. The missions are varied, the map is too, but the racing lacks depth. And there aren’t many cars.
3.5/5 and 4/10. It’s not for everyone, but worth checking out if big projects have gotten boring. And remember, during crash time, there’s actually not that much crashing going on.

My Trauma Is Flaring Up.
You know, sometimes it pays off to give a chance to the lesser known, more oddball titles out there. When you take a risk on something new, you just might get lucky and find something that you didn't know you wanted until you tried it. For example, trying out Earth Defense Force and Yakuza 0 turned out to be two of the best decisions I've ever made in finding new games.
Crash Time III however, didn't turn out so well. While it may be at least competently made, I just found the experience to be so very dull. Just, so intensely boring and sterile of an experience that every time I play it, the game just makes me think of all of the other, better driving games I could be spending my time with instead of Crash Time III. I cannot understand why anyone would want to play this when they could be playing Need for Speed, or Forza Horizon, or Burnout Paradise, or Wreckfest, or Grid, or anything else.
I could forgive the poor controller support that forced me to spend the first couple of hours having to make my own configuration if the juice were at least worth the squeeze. The voice acting is poor, but that wouldn't matter if the game were actually fun to play. As is, these flaws are just added insults to the injury. Overall, it really feels like a bottom of the barrel title.
Not Recommended.

Chciałbym kochać tę grę... ale pomimo spędzenia w niej za dzieciaka naprawdę wielu godzin, to jednak nie mogę. Choć z perspektywy gameplayu gra nie jest zła, to niestety nie działa ona lepiej, niż na moim złomie z 2009 roku. Pomimo posiadania jednej z lepszych kart graficznych większość czasu musiałem oglądać pokaz slajdów poniżej 30 kl/s. Zbyt frustrujące.
Btw. ta gra i jej wcześniejsza część uświadomiły mi, jak bardzo chciałbym zagrać w nową grę policyjną stworzoną od zera na nowym silniku.
