Solid game, 19-25 fps
I want to like this game. I really, REALLY do. But the instability to the point where it crashes AT LEAST once per every time I play it just kills it for me. And then once it crashes, it will crash repeatedly within 1 to 3 minutes each time I start it back up. And it's not like I have a potato PC either that can't run the game. It's a bug with the game (or Unity in general) itself. If they can even fix this issue, I'll absolutely recommend the crap out of it! It really is a crap ton of fun to play. sadly.
Probably one of the most fun I've had playing a survival game in a while, Craftopia offers plenty in the realms of combat, building, and, well, crafting. While it's very clearly early access and not without bugs and jank, that honestly has added to the fun quite a bit for me. Although it may not be for everyone due to how grindy it can get, the game does let you automate a fair amount of things to lessen that pressure. Personally, I adore the combat. It's generally pretty rewarding to get damage windows after dodging attacks, building your own combat style via enchants & skill trees, and even have your own summons join the fight! I highly recommend this game, it's an absolute joy to play

This is a fun sandbox game. I play Palworld in my free time and was looking for another game and this is great. It has dragons, trolls and magic.
It is a little glitchy I fall threw the floor/ground when I defeat the trolls but it is what it is.
awesome game love it, should up date, the description says brand new was released in 2020. good game been playing off and on for 5 years now.
Finally, a game that let's me cast spells and dual wield at the same time.
This game is very VERY rough around the edges. I can certainly see the potential here and I was really enjoying my time playing Craftopia (until it crashed)...but where is the love and care that went into Palworld? I expect more from Pocketpair than this unpolished mess at this point. I have a very good gaming PC with great specs (I have to because i have two gaming youtube channels) and my PC struggled to run this game even after lowering all the settings to minimum. I appreciate that Palworld is now at the forefront of Pocketpairs efforts but if they want to charge people for Craftopia then they need to fix the game so that it is up to an acceptable standard at least. I'm so gutted. Please sort it out Pocketpair.

Its a well made game that is huge and full of great ideas mixed together. A lot to figure out during the first ten percent of the game. Combat and skills are pretty neat and building your character feels good. Big map so far lots to explore and do. Building and planting are very extensive especially once you know to change the build style between regular grid and free place.
Pros-
Great mix of great ideas from other games in all aspects
Vast world feels very big for 80% of the game with a good amount of variation in it.
Great combat with character building through lots of skills enchantments and vehicles.
Freedom to change your skills and passives when you wanna try or need different things.
Good amount of fun, challenging, and put brain to the test puzzles.
Lots of Enchantments to collect and farm, a very cool way to do it as well.
Some auto crafting needs work but not to bad so far. More machines to help make smoother transportation and needs better storage to make it more automated.(Struggled with an auto smelting that had a chest that connected to a smelter that exports to a chest after smelting through dropper or pipe but this slowed the smelting inside the smelter paused in between each one it smelted)
Building in this game is great very well done just needs some polishing but made lots of cool things and ideas for more.

you can catch and utilize most things in the game.(not limited to just basic mobs or animals)
Lots of freedom of what to do in mid to end game.
Farming pretty good can get it done and automate it well enough.
Multiplayer (thumbs up)
Resource collecting pretty well done.
Lots of funny and decent descriptions. Also a of references from other games or animes that are funny and cool.

Cons-
Multiplayer still has issues at time very few though
Construction need to be polished with very few snapping points not wanting to work but was able to get it to work by a well timed place input.
last 20% you feel the lack of caves and diversity of normal enemies but bosses still cool and fun.
Weapon and equipment doesn't have to much diversity as you progress but there is appearance system so you can look how you want with whatever you have collected or crafted in game. There are some armors and weapons you have to find via chest in cave but not enough variation between progression stages to were really mostly only have 3-4 choices for stats.
has goblin and hobgoblin enemies in the game that stay and change elements, lvls, and looks but still feel mainly the same. just some more diversity of enemies in the open world be cool mainly later on tho.
very few bosses get a hiccup and stand still for a 5-15 seconds during combat always come out of it tho.
very few abilities did not work properly in multiplayer some functionally others visibly.
in multiplayer some magic combat skills affect team mates in some way making it to hard or annoying to use.
2h sword skills knock team mates back hard at times lead to him switching to bow.
Multiplayer team mates struggle with being able to interact with chests or station that were above another interactable.
Low frames at times just need some more optimization was still playable.
Less damage to early vehicles unless please hit by enemy or hit enemies.(bushes should not chunk the health)
More character customization needed in beginning.
More half walls and small slopes for all building types and maybe curved building pieces would make build really good.
Stronger Water and Air enemies in vehicles would make very cool and fun experience for combat off land.
More information in game about how to do puzzles, automation, and build there is a lot already but had to look up a good amount still.
All in All Very well done so far it is only in Early Access but very flushed out but needs polishing and more expanse on what is already there. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes survival craft, building, farming, exploring, boss fighting, creating (as they have a lot of ways to build your own island, or race track and vehicles for land water or sky), multiplayer, boss rush, freedom of class building.
High hopes to see when its finished well done so far.

Automatic Farming Robots or farming robots in general are buggy - they also get stuck when on fields (planting plots).
The other parts - youll need to figure out how to level - grind gold with mystical carrots - get artificial beddrock - capture traders (or even an anubis)
Very good game.
PS: Legacy maps were better.
This game isn't even recognizable from when I first tried it when it was first made available on Steam. I honestly almost forgot about it until it went on sale in a pack with another game. I had thought they stopped development and it was abandoned or something but was glad to see recent updates on the store page because I've been looking for more survival games after beating Enshrouded and the Windrose demo.

This is the worst running game I've ever encountered. I stuck with it because I'm very stubborn, but it's a relief to play something else from now on.
Barely ever gets over 30FPS with automatically selected settings. Dropping it to absoulte minimum, it only runs around 40fps. CPU and GPU usage only shows about 35-40%...
It's a fantastic game but it suffer from a couples of problems :
Performance are pretty bad, this game should be able to run decently on steam deck but it doesn't.
At the time of this review there are still update for this game but also tons of problems to fix and stuff that are very unpolished, missing text, broken animations ect.. however I don't know for how long this game will be receiving support, the work that is being done right now is still very minimal

Is this really made by the same company of Palworld? This ♥♥♥♥ is garbage.
Worst building system I ever saw.
Combat you have to deal with crap hitboxes.
Exploration you have to deal with a sluggish move set.
Imagine if Palworld and Breath of the wild had a baby. This is that baby. The game is not without bugs, but in all honesty they're not hard to look past to see the real beauty here. The combat is smooth and allows you to be as creative as you want. The overworld is vast and inviting and is full of things to discover.
I can't wait to see where the game goes in the future!
I wouldn't buy it again nor do i recommend it because it has been abandoned.

Don't buy this garbage, too much game breaking stuff going on including crashes and its been crap for years now. No change or improvement despite 'update' notices.
After eleven minutes of gameplay, I encountered more bugs than in many games after more than 30 hours. However, if you like poorly designed hitboxes and walking in the first cutscene, this game is for you.
