you get tapped by the back of a blade and you explode but you swing 500000 times and it just scorches the enemy bot. there is no interesting mechanic, you move far too slow, you limp wrist every weapon and none of the weapons are good enough to abandon the sword you get on respawn. Not worth playing, you're better of just playing Blade & Sorcery if you are looking for VR sword fighting or just go to Clone Drone in the Danger Zone.

great fun, love the game's atmosphere, world building and story, however i do have some small grievances with the combat, the weapons need more specialisation, the katana and longsword are way too similar if not indistinguishable, the arming sword needs to be lighter so its not just the worst overall option, bows shouldn't be able to deflect arrows, only the arrow should be able to if there's one strung and that goes for both player and npc, i also think a strung arrow should be able to do damage (this would also remedy the bug where if a bot is too close the arrow passes right through them) and lastly the rapier needs to be a fair bit longer so you can out-reach your opponent since it cant parry with the length only the tip. other than that the movesets are predictable and satisfying to counter and the varying stages make for varied combat in both the loop and scrapper

We have meet the Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, now we will see a... a Clone Drone in the Hyperdome?

for sure clone drone in the hyperdome is my second favorite VR games of the top 3
1 is super hot vr, 2 clone drone in the hyperdome, 3 I dont know yet

I simply love Hyperdome, as much as danger zone, but beware, hyperdome is a little different, you get same IP, bots and etc but it goes in another way, you dont get upgrades now but turbo fists, they are very fun.

the base gameplay is awesome, my only problem is that sometimes a little cut will kill us and a big damage doesnt, same goes for enemy drones, but not a big problem, and the vr is vr, so it bases on physics, so sometimes too, you block and the enemy weapon kinda bugs slips and hits you, or some weird interaction sometimes.

we have the other looprunners, who are quite of interesting if you wanna pay attention, just wish there was a way to sort of not have to get one of them to always be pissed off at me, like if it required me to beat something, yeah its fine, but having to micro manage their relationship is kinda buns after a time. not bad but a little personal complaint.

and now the wapons, really love it, a little problem is, base sword is very good, I mean it was too in danger zone, but hyperdome it is a safe pick, the dual hand weapons are cool like the katana, long sword, and the halberd and etc, there are a lot of them, scythes too, they are a cool but a little hard to use, that if you want a safe stop you get the base sword. as i said they all are cool but you get what i meant,

last, i dont know what to say the story is kinda cool but i have not fully beat it, and the characters the looprunnes are a cool addition I like to talk with them.

the game is good, is a little different from danger zone, yeah but it is good, i wish we had a danger zone but vr, like hyperdome is a game itself, but i wish we also had one vr title with danger zone core like upgrade bot and scalling the difficulties.

Somehow has the best sword clashing in any vr game i've ever played. The combat is just fun in general and ultra hard makes the game very fun if your looking for a good sword clashing challenge.

Please add multiplayer and PvP, it's a good game but it needs more content like the previous one

movement feels terrible, no jumping, sprining feels like it should be default walkspeed if not faster, the robots are sooooooo slow, and you are forced to talk like the fallout 4 mc
yeah I have barely any playtime bc i was falling asleep with the headset on

É simplesmente incrível.

Talvez um dos melhores jogos de luta VR por aí, não é simplesmente atacar e bater, você precisa ler os movimentos de cada inimigo para saber como defender ou atacar. Acabou sendo extremamente difícil para mim, sendo um dos primeiros jogos de VR que joguei, mas nunca me diverti tanto.

Joguei o Clone Drone in the Danger Zone (versão antiga de PC) quando era criança, era um dos meus jogos favoritos, é muito bom ver a evolução desse jogo, com a mecânica de desmembramento e uma IA de inimigos muito bem feita, e de alguma forma eles conseguiram criar personagens bem legais com uma história bem legalzinha. Com isso posso dizer, vale MUITO a pena.

Eu mal arranhei a superfície desse jogo, mas devido ao pouco reconhecimento que ele tem, eu sinto a necessidade de dizer que isso e bom pra k7.

(before you say "0.6 hours btw" or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i have like 20 hours on the quest version)

-combat feels really janky in a way i cant explain
-weapons often get stuck on things
-riposting feels really unsatisfying because your sword just freezes and you get hit anyway
-some weapons are objectively better than others, making the game 10x more boring as you dont get to experiment with using different weapons
*the double blade and default regular sword are just straight up the best weapons
-game is locked at an unbearably low framerate on EVERY platform, regardless of how good your pc is
-punishment is really inconsistent because of the rediculous hitboxes of your character, sometimes you take a full slash and nothing happens, sometimes you lose an arm from a stab, sometimes you get poked and instantly explode and die
-runs are way too short to ever become interesting
*combining hands mechanic is actually fun and creative, but runs are too short to ever use this to its full potential
-gets boring after 20 minutes
-no reason to save money because 9/10 you'll only ever get one or two shops in a run
-you never really approach any seperate enemy differently, its always just wait for an opening and then slash and they die
-the way enemies move is cool on paper but just ends in the combat being really awkward
-dialogue is BOOOOORIIIIIIING, never really goes anywhere and is just a waste of time, but you dont have to engage with it at all at any point in the game so its fine i guess

I'm conflicted and I so wish there was a 'meh' option on Steam. Despite my complaints, I still had more fun than frustration. But there are flaws to the combat system I cannot go without mentioning.

Enemies in this game are varied with different types of weapons, attack combos and behaviors that keep you on your toes. The AI behavior is smart enough to drop weapons rendered useless by injury and pick up another, though it's a bit annoying to see a one-armed enemy wielding a two-handed weapon with no trouble (the same can be said for an enemy fighting with two pixels left for a head).

The story is.. There.

Announcer/Analysis bot duo is entertaining and has a surprising amount of dynamic dialogue options depending on a variety of factors in Skyscraper mode.

Boss fights are pretty easy to cheese by simply waiting for the other Looper to leap onto your weapons from the respawn platform. Looper personalities are distinct if not overstated and they each have their own fighting styles and Turbo Fist suited to their design. Turbo Fists are fun to use/upgrade but only one or two are viable, unfortunately. If you face a Looper using another's Turbo Fist, they'll remark about killing them when they use it - a very good detail.

Easily the most frustrating part of this game is the DeathBoop. That is, being ever so slightly touched anywhere within your seeming 3 meter wide head "h i t b o x" and insta-killed. Couple this with the fact that blocking is about as helpful as hurling excrement into the wind and you've got a great combo for continued respawns. Locking weapons with an opponent is cinematic, as it produces a large spark reminiscent of lightsaber duels in Star Wars - it looks pretty cool. You'll also notice that this spectacle often freezes your weapon in position for an inappropriate amount of time so if you're using a two handed weapon you can do nothing more than smile as you receive a DeathBoop from one of the seven Samurai bots admiring your duel.

Shields are far more of a hazard than a help. Your shield will be tossed around like a midget at the circus by enemy attacks or will simply be pressed so far against your head that enemy weapons will phase through and provide you with another DeathBoop. Enemy shields? Stalwart and steadfast.

All in all, the game is fun for a few hours. You'll very quickly figure out which weapons are dogwater and which are somewhat viable and the same can be said of the Looper personalities.

It isnt what i expected i wish to refund it but i cant i thought it was like the ones i see on youtube people play it but its not like what they claim it is and i am having issues with it like lag games crashes and more i dont know if its the game’s issue but all i know is that theres issues with the game.
