In so many instances this striked me as very reminiscent of "The Amazing World of Gumball", just featuring shenanigans laced with more cynicism and grotesque. Basically what TWOG could have been if it aired on Adult Swim. And the main girls Jecka and Nicole (mind you that TWOG has its very own blue & snarky Nicole) feel complementary to one another in the same way Gumball and Darwin are.
It's just the right amount (overwhelmingly so to be frank according to common standards) of all things controversial and twisted in as many ways as one can comprehend and it's not even that long of a visual novel. That actually could pass as one of my main grievances but I won't lower my rating just because of that because I'm not absurd and we're all about quality over quantity.
Now on the quality, undisputed to a point in which it keeps on reasserting itself with every route completed, but as I plunged deeper into Nicole's story the characters seemed to me one dimensional (no ♥♥♥♥, Sherlock) (you know what I mean) and what I craved to see was more than just the single traits that just kept on exhibiting, traits that are the sole catalyst for the situations they keep getting themselves in. Hell, even Nicole's overly pessimistic outlook on life and suicidal tendencies are pretty much everything there is to her personality and I am in for that, but I would've enjoyed more of an, let's say, "nihilist on the sheets, existentialist in the sheets" approach, instead she winded up as only nihilistic here and there and everywhere and it just felt like everything about her could be only reduced to that, like Nicole being the way (and sole way) she is it's actually the game's description. And a description is supposed to just summarize the game, not give away every single aspect that is to say about it, and it did leave this impression in me.
But then again, it's not to be expected anything more from the creator providing the way people that got to know him claim he is. The reason I refuse to make my whole review about this and tackle anything that has to do more with him than I already did is because it feels natural for me to remunerate him properly for the positive impression that I did gather from his work, give to Caesar what is Caesar's.
Let's be real, if anyone was as deterred by his misdeeds and principles as they claimed that was the case, they wouldn't have spent actual money on the game in the first place. You're literally supporting him and his unrighteous baggage here.
Haven't felt a fervor of laughter and rush like this ever before.

[b]Class of '09[/b] é basicamente uma visual novel feita no puro ódio, cinismo e humor totalmente quebrado. E isso é ótimo! O jogo realmente consegue ser muito engraçado, justamente porque abraça o absurdo sem freio nenhum. As escolhas são ridículas, as situações escalam rápido e várias vezes você clica numa opção só pra ver até onde vai a desgraça.
E a verdade é que a história prende. Mesmo quando tudo parece idiota, o jogo sabe te manter curioso pra ver a próxima maluquice. O humor negro funciona, os diálogos têm personalidade e a proposta tem estilo próprio. Então sim, mérito onde merece: o jogo tem identidade.

This game is funny dearing the intro at the part where it states "It was Nicole's fault. Oh ya I am Nicole by the way, WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ DID I DO?" it had me laughing so damn hard. And this game is made to fight cancel culture. lol
I've been hearing about this game and people frame it as a "Hehe haha funny game goes funny and sarcastic" but it isn't, kind of. While yes the game tries to potray itself in a sarcastical satirical funny way but i find that there is more hidden, deep meaning, a messages the devs trying to convey to people.
I came to this game thinking to get some laugh (which i did) but i get a little more extra with that sayori treatment. For the game devs, thank you for bringing these social problem through your games. People need to be more aware and more supportive because these problem do happen in real life often.
And for those who relate to the social problem and are now struggling for your dear life, thank you. Thank you for staying alive. It must've been hard... But i will send you support and prayers for you to keep fighting at the very least till the storm passes.
I really liked the game, I thought the voice acting was pretty good and the script was decent. If you go after every ending, you start to not really feel that bad for the main character, but all the endings were interesting in some way shape of form. Plus, the saving system was pretty helpful, I didn't even need a flow chart to find all the endings
All I got to say is I hope my boy Jeffery gets some justice, homie didn't deserve the hate, he just wanted to enjoy his cartoons man

I honestly think this game was worth buying. its funny. creative, and overall super fun to play through. I like how there was multiple endings to the whole game in itself although I would say i did get lost because some of the ending's were a bit harder to find then others. Nicole is such idgaf attitude, she's halarious. There can be dark moments at times for some endings but was a really fun playthrough overall great game would play it for the first time again.
this game is a non-stop “you can never guess what any of the characters will say,” and I would say my jaw dropped more times than Nicole dropped dead in my gameplay.... despite the game's dark humor and dope voice acting, the game’s subject matter (p*dophilia, SA, su*cide, white supremancy, etc.) though slightly exaggerated, still reflect real-life experiences ngl. i love how unhinged every character is. got good laughs with my friend.

Can't find another game quite like this on Steam.
Players take on the role of Nicole, Who's cynicism and sociopathiic tendencies get her and fellow classmates into all sorts of bad situations. This game has a sequel and a (Sort-Of?)Threequel I guess although in the 3rd you change Roles to Jecka(Jessica!) Nicoles I guess best friend? It's hard to say. Sometimes I feel like they hate each other but 90's Kids(Which, they ARE, BTW) are just sort of like that before mellowing the hell out(Spoken from Personal Experience)
They remind me of how it was with MY best friend. Assuming the two were to stay in touch post-graduation, I bet they'd be like siblings by now(Also, assuming they BOTH survived HS). Especially after their parents are gone cause that ♥♥♥♥ just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, man. Never been more lonely in my life :(
Anyway, Enjoy the game. If you like VN type games and Debauchery, Cruelty, Indifference, Solicitation, Drug Dealing, Hooking, Blackmailing or even Discovering a secret massive warehouse archive of Child Porn and Snuff Films isn't too crazy for you(or maybe BECAUSE it's too crazy...) I bet you'll love it just for the humor.
