It's not a bad game, I got it for free though :P
fun little arcade game though "alt" being binded to pause and unpause is kinda weird tho (i was able to get all the achievements in one sitting)

Castle Break is a short and sweet experience that is a fun take on Breakout and other brick breaking games.
I played the majority of it on the Steam Deck, which I have to admit is incredibly well suited for this game when using the touchpads. I had no issues moving around and hitting all of the bombs away in time, even when things got hectic on screen. However, I did need to switch to my desktop to be able to play Random mode, because no matter what I did on the Steam Deck, pressing the Random mode button did nothing. I had no issues accessing it when I had switched over to the desktop, so I think it was an issue with the Steam Deck controls configuration whilst in the menu.
The game does become quite repetitive though, so I don't imagine it'll be a game I'll be coming back to now that I've finished all of the achievements, but it was worth the low price of entry whilst giving me 4.3 hours of playtime.
Edit: Apparently I received the game for free, so now I'm even happier with it!

На рандомном режиме невозможно пройти 71-80 лвл, так как тебя тушат всеми средствами - газом, недостатком ресурсов постоянными лазерами и бомбами в твою сторону.
Как по мне уровни с отравляющим газом ужасны, твои рыцари дохнут как мошкара, по 2 человечка за СЕКУНДУ.
Весёлая игра где вы берёте на себя управление сапёром, игра динамичная, ачивки лёгкие на 2 часа, так что не соскучишься.

Onun dışında pek bi numarası yok zaten karşıdan geleni karşıla kaleyi yık .

Castle Break is a straightforward, level-based game. The structure is simple and easy to understand.
I completed the game and didn’t feel the need to continue much further, but I can clearly see the appeal. The gameplay loop is clean and works well for players who enjoy progressing through bite-sized levels without too much complexity.
It’s not something that deeply hooked me, but it does exactly what it sets out to do.
I will leave this cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up and awards

Castle Break é aquele jogo simples e bem feito, ótimo gráfico e com uma jogabilidade insana e criativa. Recomendo bastante, eu simplesmente fiquei surpreso com ele :)
Fun iteration on breakout style formula. Love the sound fx. Beat the campaign mode. Kinda hate to admit it, but my mouse wrist got tired moving the castle around so much. The movement is central to the game though so.. not sure what could be changed.
Sorry, but it was slightly amusing for a couple of minutes before monotony set in. I know its a free game that looks like a flash project from the good old days of newground, but its still a bit barebones. But that is not the real issue. The real issue is the lack of polish. Movement can be clunky, physics a bit odd, and graphical pop ins mar the whole experience.

Castle Break acerta em trazer uma fórmula indie muito criativa, mistura elementos de Breakout, hockey de Ar e um pouco de construção e defesa de base de um jeito bem original.
A mecânica de usar o mouse como “taco” para rebater projéteis e bombas inimigas dá uma sensação de arcade instantâneo e faz cada nível parecer uma mesa caótica de destruição.
O ritmo é acelerado e viciante, você tem que reagir rápido, decidir entre atacar, defender e construir simultaneamente. Essa liberdade de estilo dá espaço para quem curte experimentar jogos únicos.
Visualmente o jogo tem uma pegada simples e funcional, pixel-art estilizado e explosões satisfatórias, combinando com sua proposta arcade. A trilha sonora e os sons de explosões/impactos completam bem o clima de caos e ação sem complicar demais.
Para quem gosta de jogos rápidos, diretos e arcade, Castle Break cumpre perfeitamente o papel e é ideal para partidas curtas e divertidas, sem exigir compromisso alto nem curva de aprendizado longa.
[b]Dificuldade das Conquistas [1/10][/b]
Levei cerca de 3h30 para desbloquear todas as conquistas, com exceção de 2, todas caíram em apenas uma única run da campanha, nem sei dizer se o jogo tem tela de game over, pois não tive derrota, mas isso é para mostrar o quão simples é fazer o jogo e as conquistas. Após passar a fase 100 da campanha, que era relacionado a última conquista, eu pausei e iniciei o modo infinito onde tem 2 conquista para fazer também, não existe quase nenhuma diferença da campanha, única coisa que muda é que as fases vêm de forma aleatória, e é basicamente a mesma coisa, passar a fase 100 para pegar às duas ultimas conquistas.

The game was fun for the first 15 minutes, but it gets very repetitive and boring. Once you get the hang of things there's not much difference in gameplay. I finished the last few achievements with the game on mute listening to podcasts.

i do not reccommend this game and i got it for free on sale it was 100 percent off you play the game you like the retro style play it for like 20 mins and then game stop being fun its just filled with fog to make it harder but it dosent make it harder it just removes the fun you can block or fight back you just spin your mouse around and left click and right click till you win and loosing is not something that happens alot also its a windowed game where it takes up a line of your screen and its the middle line like your playing a mobile game on your monitor and you cant move your mouse too fast because if it goes out of the box and you click youre clicking out of the game while its still playing and in my case it glitched my mouse it was out of the game and my mouse wouldnt move got it for free but i want a refund
Witziges Spiel, jedoch sind die Level zum Teil viel zu einfach.
Ich habe im ersten Versuch das Spiel bis Lvl. 100 spielen können. Nur bei Lvl. 83 gab es einen Bug und es war sofort Game Over. Das Spiel eignet sich zum kurzen Zeitvertreib, aber sonst ist es kein Spiel zum Grinden oder langfristigen Spielen.
Cara, assim da pra se divertir. Mas tu vai ficar doido, dependendo de como você joga.

Decent enough game. Picked it up for free on a sale and had an enjoyable enough experience to say it's a good game. Reminiscent of old mobile games in terms of addictive loop, but it does end up getting old. Right click mirror and left click rocket til win, really. Not terrible, like a good 6.5 to 7/10, simple, but effective you could say. 100% is pretty boring, 100 levels gets lame fast, so does 30, though, so touche if you will. My playtime got inflated because I left it open overnight so I wouldn't have to restart my random run, it's realistically like a 3-4 hour experience.

This game is OK, it's fun if you need to kill some time, though the only issue with the game play is that building walls gets completely outclassed by offensive capabilities such as the auto-laser, so building your own walls seems useless.

Стройте защитные сооружения, улучшайте их и управляйте ресурсами. А у вашего героя есть особые способности, которые можно апгрейдить.
В общем, это неплохая аркада на вечерок-другой . Визуал, который симулирует экран мобильного телефона, может отпугнуть, как и сама простота рисовки. Но, лично для меня, графика в играх не на первом месте. Зато здесь драйвовый геймплей и хорошее музыкальное сопровождение.
Жаль только, что профиль игры ограничен и достижения не входят в общую статистику.

一部前期略有乏味，后期画面爆炸的连续推关式打砖块小游戏👍
前期比较无聊，没解锁完全道具只能坐牢，火箭🚀，激光，子弹这些都必须要尽快解锁，不然只能挨打，可以建造保护后方友军小人，镜子木板砖块个人是只喜欢建镜子🪞，耗材少还可以反弹激光。
无尽模式推关到后期会很“爆炸”，对面机器人扔炸弹像下雨，几乎关关都有的毒雾，大量的反弹机器人也很恶心，砖块有时打不动。不过我管你这的那得，前期滚雪球让我回血极快，而且火箭框框炸😎
全成就需要一点儿耐心，打无尽模式100关成就达成之后不要着急退出，一直升级激光火箭，120关后才有机会全成就，升级解锁要全部达成有点费时间了，起码干了我2个小时🥹

i'm downloading random games i have in my library and this one didn't dissapoint. a little arcade-like game with a cool premise and the later boss fights will have you protecting your little army like your life depends on it. awesome stuff

Оригинальная идея (по крайней мере, я такого раньше не видел), но крайне убогая реализация! Автор залочил разрешение экрана в 800*1000 (НЕ 1000*800), превратив игру в сугубо мобильную. Если Вы пытаетесь открыть окно на весь экран, то получаете невероятно уродливую графику времён ATARI 2600 с интерлейсом и дичайшим лагом мыши. Играть в это возможно, конечно, но глаза вытекают через 20 минут. Взял игру за 20 центов в бандле с второй игрой разработчика, которая действительно шедевр, но за эту поделку жалко даже 20 центов. Не рекомендую брать, если только вы не играете на ноутбуке с разрешением 1280*800, который поставили набок :)

It was amazing, simply. 10/10
Nice game, but you won't play it for long, trust me, unless you're a completionist.
There isn't enough content to be replayable, it gets so boring after beating the main game.
The only reason to continue, as I already mentioned, are the achievements.
Not a really full thought through game, but still worth a try I guess?

One of the few games that looks like a mobile game (and probably used to be one) but is really good to play on a computer.
