Addicting, but skill only takes you so far. RNG will kill your survival runs that's just how it is.
Very addictive game, fast pace to keep the plaines in the air and protect you carrier. It is hard to fully complete the game.
Before playing, book doctor appointment for carpal tunnel at your wrist.
It all starts peacefully, until you realize it is not and you catch yourself under stressful situation where you need to make decisions quickly, sometimes choose what to sacrifice.
It is like figuring out puzzle.
Campaign is more like a training, there you should learn how to arrange different kind of operations your Carrier can get into..
- anti aircraft operations where waves of aircrafts are coming at you
- anti ship operations where waves of different kind ships at different kind of speed attack you
- anti submarine operations ..
- land operations
- rescue operations if you screw up
- and of course, cargo planes arriving to support your ship
and combination of those operations of course.
But Campaign just introduces that operations, it starts to be interesting at "Quickgame" option, which I recommend after Campaign, as there it is "random" so you don't know which combination of operations will be next and you need to figure out aircraft handling which fits for you to be able to adapt quickly.
After Quickgame there is also Survival mode, where there is no "end", just your carrier at the bottom of the sea, and there your skills will be really tested.
You will keep learning and screwing up, but at the end, journey is the goal :)
I enjoyed the game, achieved all achievements, which is actually not that hard.
What a cracking game!
If you don't want to spend your time making hamburgers, this is a great alternative to time-management games.
Ein simples Game für Leute die sich für Flugzeugträger und Kampfflugzeuge interessieren.
Die Kampagne ist nicht sonderlich lang ist aber für so ein Spiel ausreichend, da es ja noch den offenen Modus gibt. Sie wird außerdem auch mit jedem Level komplexer, durch mehr diverse Missionen, neue Flugzeuge oder mehr Aufgaben für nebenbei wie die Frachtflugzeuge.
Das Spiel ist gerade gut wenn man mal wieder nicht weiß was man spielen soll, dann kann man wieder 2-3 Level hier verbringen.
Leider ist die Wegfindung der Flugzeuge miserabel. Es gibt für jede Position festgelegte Strecken und wenn sich da zwei überschneiden dann muss man neue Positionen zuteilen oder sie bleiben halt eine Zeit lang stehen bis der erste nachgibt und sich zu seiner alten Position zurück begibt.
Abgesehen von ein paar kleinen Bugs welche man aber leicht ignorieren kann und den Spielfluss nicht sonderlich stören ein hervorragendes Spiel.

Richtig tolles Micro-Management. In 10h durchgesuchtet- Anfangs sind die Modelle der Flugzeuge und Helis etwas schwierig auseinander zu halten. Paar Bugs sind auch vorhanden, gerade was die Speicherpunkte betrifft.
Trotzdem volle Kaufempfehlung! Und bitte nur mit Maus spielen.
Trop souvent, l'hélipad du milieu se fige pendant un réapprovisionnement et il faut initier un déplacement pour débloquer la situation comme si on avait pas assez a gérer avec le mode aléatoire qui envoie plusieurs porte avions en même temps.

its simple but its really fun, its got some jank with how planes move around on the deck but once you learn it you can work around it and continue to have fun. its only a pity they didn't let users make workshop missions and campaigns and stuff like that

it is a quite fun game, so much that i bought it on xbox first, but playing this game with a controller does not work well. so bought it on steam too.,
You have alot to do cause alot happens at once which makes it really fun to manage. But there are just so many bugs both on steam and on the xbox version. aircraft/choppers that are not loading, Sometimes they get stuck on somewhere on the carrier, same mission sometime provide one chinook sometimes 2 or 3, its managable with 2 with alot of presure on it but i think its designed to give 3. 1 is imposible as you get 3 targets in a row. Bugs often starts happening when your most presured which makes it even more anoying and boarderlining to being a showstopper. cause even though you did a really good job with handling everything incomming bugs happen and you start to take damage = not full complete of mission.
I cannot recommend this game in current state.

Fun little game but in later levels it depends largely on just memorizing the queue order of enemies that'll be coming at you to prep your aircraft ahead of time rather than making any tactical decisions
The game is good for about 10 minutes. After that it is incredibly repetitive. The path finding is terrible, most games I end up losing because the people get stuck underneath the plane they are supposed to be fixing or arming.

时间管理加航母题材就成了我是航母管制官，全五星难度有但尚可接受，不过存在讨厌的纯看脸问题：
1.需要支奴干的关卡支奴干数量在1-3之间浮动，如果随到1架根本周转不来建议重开。有一关支奴干的数量无论如何都不够就只能带伤出击赌成功率，这已经和玩家水平无关了。
2.所有折叠翼都有概率抓不住拦截索复飞，如果这时跑道上有任何障碍物（包括前一架正常降落正在推到停机位的飞机）会两机相撞，这是全过程都可能出现的问题（包括任务完成后收飞机环节），比敌人折磨多了，敌人还能背背板这玩意我上哪背去。
以及一些可能没什么用的建议：
1.E2预警机滞空时间长空档期也长，如果不想背不同波次的敌人种类那建议备架A6填空中侦察的缺。在一些关卡只有单架E2的情况下用A6对空/海、S3对海/潜。如果后期甲板混乱实在周转不开可以放弃反潜侦察，因为潜艇攻击时间长、SH60可以停在出发点补给。顺带吐槽背景里的提康纯绿幕是罢，直升机掉海里了是罢，怎么反潜都要航母来啊。
2.左后方的升降机不受复飞影响可以用来周转直升机，右后方需要推过跑道实在太危险建议用来倒腾受损飞机。
3.有鹞用鹞，虽然鹞子会占用直升机起降点稍不注意就会叠叠乐但终于不用担心那傻逼拦阻索以及满航母乱停实在太爽啦，可惜只有几关旁边还有意义不明的V22（换皮支奴干不说小人还会因为BUG卡住）。
4.对面攻击是按倒计时而不是图标位置来的，只要在0秒之前把飞机放出去就算赢（图标会卡在终点）。
额外的：有时候任务完成会莫名其妙跳到未解锁的关卡，因为打了也不算所以不建议打，我刚到打第二章就莫名其妙跳到最后一关，死磕一小时终于把三航母干挺结果又要我重打一遍，难受的要死。
This game is simply fun! If you love military (namely naval) games, puzzle games, and are into managing forces, this is the game for you! From the endless Survival mode with 3 difficulties, to the campaign that stretches across the world's oceans, it will provide hours of frustration, fun, accomplishment, and anger.....which is awesome in it's own right! Can't wait for the 2nd one to release!

It's a good game, but some of the issues can make your experience frustraiting:
- Poor pathfinding. Your planes will stuck on the deck like americans on the roundabout
- "Cargo vehicles" needs to turn around on the "elevator". Why tho?
- If you will interact with "elevator" 0.1 seconds to fast, your heli or jet will stuck in the air
- Random might not be on your side sometimes

Game is pretty bad honestly. It would probably function better as a phone game than on PC.
It also glitches out fairly easily if you complete steps too quickly - on mission 4 or 5, you have to destroy an incoming enemy jet before it reaches your ship, then you have to take out an enemy sub. If you complete the jet portion too quickly, it'll hard lock the mission and you have to restart from the beginning of that mission...
The steps involved with prepping the planes and helicopters is a cool concept, but turns into a job very quickly.
I wouldn't recommend the game unless you're bored out of your mind and have nothing else to play.

Imagine a restaurant game like "Cooking Mama" or "Overcooked", with the player racing to get fulfill orders for impatient customers, except instead of baking pizzas and cleaning dishes you're loading up fighter-bombers with ordinance and patching up battle-damaged V-22s. This is a unique and original take on a military strategy game with an emphasis on logistics, timing, and organization; like Slitherine & Every Single Soldier's Afghanistan and Vietnam games, it's kind of a "light milsim" experience where it shows a very non-arcade-y side of modern warfare while still being very easy to learn and enjoy. I also think the campaign is the best these folks have made, presenting a series of hypothetical missions with a clear narrative and escalating scale as you go from struggling for sea and air superiority to supporting a ground invasion.
I have 3 big nitpicks with the game:
1. Given that this is a fast-paced real-time game I really wish they had more hotkeys: several times I lost a mission just because I couldn't click on the arrow to launch the selected aircraft on the selected mission fast enough.
2. Pathfinding is very bad; I'm not sure if this is a bug or a deliberate design decision but if you tell two aircraft to go in opposite directions they will often choose the same path, bump nose-to-nose, stare at each other awkwardly for five minutes, and BOTH give up and go back to where they started. The game would be a lot less frustrating if they automatically re-routed or flipped a coin over who proceeds to their destination and who goes back to their starting slot, especially since there's no way to manually tell one aircraft to just take the long way around a row of parked jets.
3. Survival mode is really unbalanced, there are a lot of random events with no boon-penalty trade-off (like C-2 Greyhounds arriving derailing your whole game) or no way to address the problem with the resources given (like getting 2 x 2 amphibious assault missions when you only received 2 V-22s). I'd love to see an update where the C-2 Greyhound gives you some kind of reward (like "spare parts" reducing repair times) and the random enemy algorithm actually checks to see if it's even possible for a perfect player to handle what is being thrown at them (i.e. don't attack me with 2 carriers requiring 10 fighters total when you know I only have my 8 starting fighters): otherwise Survival Mode is just a miserable process of hitting "restart" every time you get shafted by the RNG.

Addicting and well put together. I will give this a thumbs-up but:
- Many game breaking bugs in there (helipads not triggering, planes stuck not loading weapons...). You will encounter one of these at least once every 5 scenarios (especially in survival).
- In survival mode RNG does not care about how many planes of a given type you have (e,g, it will throw enemy boats needing 10 fighters + 2 radar even if you only have 6 fighters in total).
- 0 path-finding intelligence, you really have to plan your plane shuffling (which per se is not a bad thing until bugs come into play)
- Could benefit from workshop and custom made scenarios from the community.

Definite recommend if you like carriers, micromanagement games, working under pressure, and organising stuff. Some levels are really easy, and some will require you to play them multiple times to get them right. Plus the OST is nice, and I like the background radio chatter.
However, there is one fly in the ointment: the 'damage' mechanic. I'm not sure how it happens, but sometimes, aircraft get back to the carrier in a damaged state. If you fly them out again, they'll crash and you'll need to send a SAR Seahawk to recover the crew. The only way to fix them is to move them below-decks to the hangar for a period of 30 seconds (approximately).
This entire mechanic sounds neat, but in the heat of combat, with every single airframe mattering, it can be a real ball-ache to find out that you need an additional Super Hornet to deal with the approaching enemy ship, no worries, one of the Super Hornets are returning to the carrier, time to re-arm it and send it off, ONLY YOU DON'T, because RNG has struck at the worst possible time and your only available Super Hornet is damaged. So you have to pick between permanently losing an airframe for the rest of the mission AND sending out a SAR mission, OR not get that Super Hornet fixed and in the air in time and getting your carrier damaged.
Yeah, no. Screw that noise. I HATE this mechanic. Once I finished the game I immediately downloaded a mod that removes this mechanic and the gameplay was SO much smoother. You can get it for free on Nexusmods.
Lastly, for some reason, you can only have three active missions at a time. So if you have two refueling missions, good luck getting all the ACTUAL combat sorties in.
Other than THAT nonsense, this game is great. 7/10.

Great game, simple, yet very entertaining. Can be challenging sometimes.
its a buggy mess now :( . they sold the rights to the game and the subsequent update removed all the textures for all the crew. they fixed it, but now the game crashes constantly and you can't even finish a survival match without it crashing and losing all progress. they also added a new bug ware you can't finish the cargo plane missions due to the cargo loader getting stuck on the deck so you cant get the cargo plane off the ship since it wont unload. avoid the game until they fix all the new game breaking bugs.

When it comes to recommending this game, I’ve quite struggled with the decision and ultimately landed on a “no”, but it’s not without its merits, in fact if it would just be fixed up a little it might be really good.
The Good: At its core, this is a really fun and challenging game. The difficulty curve is steep, especially in the early levels, but that’s part of its charm. When you struggle through a tough stage only to breeze through it later, the sense of improvement is incredibly satisfying. The later levels crank up the challenge even more, pushing you to earn every victory—and man, does it feel good when you finally nail them. There’s a rewarding sense of progression here that keeps you hooked.
The Bad: Despite the fun, two major flaws drag it down. First, the repair/breakdown mechanic is a mess—poorly thought out and frustratingly inconsistent. Take Mediterranean-3 as an example: you’ve got a Chinook inbound, followed by a rapid-fire sequence of Amphibious tasks a bit after. It’s stressful but manageable—until your Chinook comes back damaged. There’s no time to repair and re-arm it, so you’re forced to send it out still damaged anyway. If it crashes (and the chance of that is definitely higher than I wish it was), say goodbye to your 5-star rating. It’s pure luck, not skill (at least in this scenario), and critical aircraft should be immune to this nonsense in their key levels. Second, the bugs are a nightmare. I had to replay the entire game twice because a completed level mysteriously “uncompleted” itself, triggering a domino effect that unwound my progress all the way to the end. Which isn't a huge problem for me since I like the game, but it's incredibly frustrating when you're so close to having all stars just for it to say "nope" at the very end.

Correction: Apparently you're supposed to have 3 Chinooks coming in, in that level, but apparently my game bugged out there, but my point still stands about the mechanic still stands

Great game, great on Steam Deck. Have all 170 stars, got all the 33 achievements and getting bored. A mission editor could help. :)

Trop d’avions. Y’a plus de place, c’est l’embouteillage maritime.
Des avions endommagés, du ravitaillement, des décollages urgents… T’as plus le temps de respirer.
Un ennemi arrive. Tu veux l’intercepter ? TROP TARD, PANIC MODE ACTIVÉ.
Tout devient CHAOS.
Tu tiens le coup, mais à quel prix ?
Conclusion :
Sympa au début, puis ça devient un enfer logistique.
Si t’aimes les jeux de gestion ultra-stressants, fonce.

Cool concept managing 302193 things at the same time, but if you want to achieve a flawless game, then be prepared to scream at your screen and start over and over and over until you get it absolutely right for those 5 stars. There is no way of slowing the game down, and neither is there a pause function (except for opening the menu). If you want to feel pressure, want to be overwhelmed and frustrated for most of the time, this is for you.
Not recommended, If you send out a plane with missile and they found the enemy,they can not engage. If there are C2s with cargo on your deck or hanger and they filled up your queues,you can't even send out planes to defend.Pilots are blind, they will land anyway, even the deck is full.
完全没有战斗空中巡逻的概念，侦察就只能侦察是吧。如果卸货飞机占满队列，敌机还有30秒到头顶，不能放飞任何飞机。连防空都不行。飞行员都是大傻逼，看到甲板未清空也要落下来。

Bester Stresstest - es macht immer wieder Spaß und die Perfektion ist das Ziel. Ich glaube, es gibt kaum ein anderes oder vergleichbares Spiel aber es macht einfach so viel Spaß - mehr Missionen und mehr Flugzeuge und Einheiten wäre toll aber da wird nicht mehr viel passieren.
Top Gun pur, leider ohne die Tomcat. Das Spiel ist aber bockschwer und Frust ist vorprogrammiert. Gameplay und Look sind on point, aber der Stress killt einen.

Excample! to repair ONE plane you need to do the following:" Pull up the lift! Order the plane there! Than let the lift down! Press a button to look into the ship! Order the plane to a repair place! After repair, same but backwards! Horrorble!
Great concept and reasonably well crafted, but incredibly frustrating. The base difficulty is incredibly too high, and there's some tedious micromanagement. If you're a perfectionist this is going to drive you nuts because there will inevitably be a point in each game/mission where there's too much going on and while you're managing all the other details, your aircraft collide on the deck. More unforgivable is the lousy pathing and tight space that will constantly result in aircraft blocking each other. You will lose entire days trying to 5-star a single late game mission because you are going to have to try over and over and over again while they are very time consuming and there is just way too much going on while requiring the player to micromanage every single thing.

Yes, the survival mode gets stupidly hard and your chance of success is determined by RNG, but it's still a fun game. Can only recommend if you like time and ressourcemanagement and like to be stressed during game play.

Pretty much the only game I know of like it. It's a little disappointing how the game can only become difficult by pressuring you into being overwhelmed.

I kind of like the concept, but a wider scope campaign, upgrading from a small carrier to a larger one, and adding new planes and skill... yeah, that would have saved the game.
Like this, I feel it's a small time killer and filler game instead of the great game it could have been.
Current US Navy member here. Looked for a fun game to play relating to my job. Not an air boss, but an aircraft mechanic. This game is fun and addictive. I enjoy launching jets and helos to destroy my enemies at sea and this game has fulfilled that very thing. Excellent!
