Caravan combines strategy with RPG elements resulting in a trading and exploration game packed with suspense and challenges. In a pre-medieval Oriental setting players will send their caravan from town to town. Caravan, fikriyle merak uyandıran ama oynadıkça potansiyelini tam kullanamadığı hissini veren bir oyun.

Ticaret, rota planlama ve karar alma mekanikleri kağıt üzerinde güzel duruyor. Karavan kurup risk–ödül hesabı yapmak keyifli olabiliyor; ancak sistemler yeterince derinleşmediği için bir süre sonra aynı döngüyü tekrar eder hale geliyorsun.

En büyük sorun anlatım ve tempo. Oyun ne yapmak istediğini tam anlatamıyor; öğrenme süreci sezgisel değil, deneme-yanılmaya kalıyor. Bu da özellikle başlarda gereksiz bir soğukluk yaratıyor.

Görsel tarz sade ve fena değil ama uzun süre bakınca akılda kalıcı olmuyor. Müzikler ve atmosfer “iş görür” seviyesinde, ne batıyor ne de oyunu yukarı çekiyor.

Özetle:
Kötü değil, ama güçlü de değil.
Türünü sevenler için bakılabilir, geniş kitleyi saracak bir yapım değil.

Интересный симулятор управления караваном, где нужно торговать товарами не в убыток попутно проходя сюжетную ветку. Покупать где подешевле,продавать где купят у вас подороже товары, следить за уровнем воды , вступать в стычки в пустыне, выполнять второстепенные задания, нанимать работников в свой караван и думать каких вьючных животных иметь при себе, начиная от ослов и заканчивая лошадьми. В игре надо учитывать много факторов, от растояния между точками А и Б ,сколько в караване людей и животных, расход воды, последствия путешествий по пустыне .От нападения шакалов и разбойников, не к месту непогоды, уставшихся животных или потери товара в пути. Первые несколько часов игры интересны но потом может надоесть кому то. Когда не хватает места в караване для животных или товара, найденного в путешествии по пустыне. Или когда по сюжету требуется определенное кол-во каких то предметов,и ты как сайгак ищешь их в продаже прыгая по разным местам .Начиная от оазиса и заканчивая крупными городами. В которых нет или есть они, как в малом кол-ве или большом, купишь дешево или очень дорого

Whole game is just moving from A to B, while buying stuff that marked as cheap and sell it in towns where it's marked as expensive. That's it - that's the whole game. There is also a story quest line that basically consists of "go from A to B and bring some ♥♥♥♥ back to A". Very interesting, as you can see. Battle mini-game is garbage that has almost 0 tactics you just pick higher numbers and watch your enemy do the same and the one who had better stats in the first place wins. Music is a repetitive crap that I've turned off during first hour. There is almost no progression because there is no point to accumulate wealth. Sure, you need money for water. But aside from that? For what? Better equipment? There is almost no equipment you can buy and even those rare exceptions are level locked which means that you cant equip anything except some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bow that gives you +10 to offence (while your enemy may have 1.5x higher stats than you). Better characters? I'm level 5 and game graciously allowed me to hire Mercenary of level 3 who is useless to me now. Shop and guild stocks are limited and do not automatiaclly refresh. Meaning that if I lose auxillaries/animals I won't be able to buy them unless I walk around praying for random event with either bandit canp or horse seller. You can't even increase the game's speed. In a game where you spend 70% of time waiting for your caravan to go from A to B. What the ♥♥♥♥ is this? Random events are trash - you will see almost all of them in first 2 hours and then you'll just be getting them over and over again and of course most of them just want to make your life worse. Auxillaries die from almost every enemy hit decreasing maximum health of character and inventory size and you can't get new ones because THERE ARE NO MORE PEOPLE IN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GUILD LEFT. You do not get any experience from trading, from haggling or selling for higher price than buying. In a game about trading. Right. Even inventory is garbage - you get 1 (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ONE) slot for an item and that's it, want to improve your hero and make him better in battle - give him some bow. That's it, you can't do anything else. There are heath potions in this game, but you can't drink them during battle to heal yourself. You know, like in EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OTHER VIDEOGAME. Nope, you can use them only between fights. Because ♥♥♥♥ you. Also, you can't even save manually - game automatically saves when you enter towns because ♥♥♥♥ you that's why. What, you wanted to save before fighting bandits to see their level? ♥♥♥♥ you. Reload last checkpoint and buy/sell all your ♥♥♥♥ all over again just because these morons couldn't show you the level of your potential enemies before you lock yourself into a fight.

Je ne suis pas convaincu du tout.
Le jeu est très dirigiste et en même temps l'interface et surtout le combat sont assez médiocres...
Certaines situations sont ridicules et ce n'est pas difficile si ce n'était grandement rogue-like car les evenements random sont bien sabotés avec un pseudo systeme "pire pipier sizo" avec pseudos bonus assez mauvais voir une vraie purge

visuellement ça avance juste vers la droite et voila c pas poussé.

Hmm I don't know what to write. I like the graphics but I dislike this "dirty overlay over the whole screen". I like the fighting mechanics but I dislike that I lose all the time. I like the trading but somehow I never have money. I like the music but I totally hate always hearing the same track when you travel. I like the translation and that it even has german voices.

I'll give a thumbs up anyways. It's alright.

I enjoyed Caravan, but I can understand it may not be for everyone.

Pros: It's not too difficult, it's runs well, the music and art style work well together, and it offers just enough moment to moment resource management decisions to be engaging. Cons: It will get repetitive once you've seen everything, RNG can ruin your day, and combat/bargaining and water management are immediately tedious. Some of my playthroughs were probably longer than they needed to be just because I'd make choices specifically to avoid having to deal with those as much.

It's relatively short, even if you replay it a couple times to knock out the stranger achievements. It's often on sale for a few dollars, so you're likely to get your money's worth even if you play through it just the once.

Super et j'ai bien aimé. J'ai spécialement acheté ce jeu pour les Djinns et ils y en a pleins.

J'ai terminé le jeu en une trentaine d'heures (mais peut durer bien plus si on ne fait pas la dernière mission et si on souhaite continuer à vendre et voyager avec sa caravane). Très bonne production artistique.

Le système de combat des dés peut être difficile à comprendre au début, mais une fois que l'on comprend la logique, il est assez simple à utiliser (pour les combats et le marchandage). Il change des autres systèmes de dés je trouve.

Seul conseil que je peux donner pour ceux qui commencent le jeu, inutile de chercher absolument les combats en level 1. Ils seront trop dur et il faut mieux chercher à monter de niveau petit à petit avant. Une fois level 2-3, c'est un peu plus simple (même si restant encore difficile) et surtout avec des objets qui aident à avoir des bonus pour les dés en combat.

En résumé, un très bon jeu pour s'évader si on aime l'ambiance du désert et caravanes. En plus le jeu est en français.

Didn’t know what to expect but Caravan is actualy kinda chill and fun. It’s part trading game, part story thing, with some little battles too. The desert vibe is nice and music is calming. Not super flashy but I kept playing "just one more day" a lot. I wish it was on Switvh, would be perfect for that.

No balance and no manual saves is a deadly combination for the joy of games. The multiple seconds unskippable walking screens when you enter and leave a place get boring too.

Your character starts off too weak for every random event. You will die and have to restart at the last checkpoint at a city before you did all your trades and other errands there. So you have to repeat that multiple times if you are unlucky and get forced to fight a level 3 enemy with your lower level character that doesn't stand a chance. Until you finally have enough money to afford a mercenary to be your bodyguard. You also need to hire a merchant to do the bargaining for you because your main character lacks stats both for fight and for trade.

You find items you can't use for hours - got a knife for level 5 characters at level 2. This takes away an inventory slot all this time if you don't sell it. Enemies are always faster than you, so they get the first move in the battles, which is a huge disadvantage to you. On top of that, I was either super unlucky or the chance for negative results is way higher than for positive results with random events.

I told myself: One more time the game forces me to die to a higher level enemy and I quit. Oh well, here is the review.

I was looking for an old Arabian trading game and Caravan came into the suggestion. I amaze on how enjoyable the story, gameplay, and graphic. Plus I love the way it refers to some well-known Arabian stories. I hope there would be some similar games with the same theme in the future.

一般，游戏背景有点迷人而已——在西奈半岛上面跑商。但是机制很差，一是商人钱有上限；二是商品价格随机刷新；三是队友的技能用处很少；四是不跟着主线做就开不了新地图，自由度很低。但是有点是能组很长很长的商队，很有感觉。一个人能带6只骆驼，有五个人的话就有30只骆驼了。所以跑商的感觉还是有的。打折的时候体验一下阿拉伯风味也还可以。
我也是才认识到加沙、巴格达、巴比伦、大马士革原来都在这些地方，还挺有趣的。

Relaxing game with interesting story, great graphics and relaxing music that nicely convey tha "Arabian Nights" feeling.

Gameplay is not very challenging - buy where prices are low and sell where they are high, with trades and combat being conducted via tactical dice selection from a pool shared with the opponent.

Downsides are the low impact of RPG elements such as character progression and equipment.

I like it mostly for the atmosphere and the casual flow of gameplay.

I played this game for who knows how many hours in GoG. This used to be a challenging game. It's more of an exploration/trading game, now. It's still a good game, but I was not sliding in on empty over and over again, wondering where I would get the money to level-up. I found it far less challenging this time.

You play the heir to the throne of Iram, whose mum and dad have both disappeared, leaving you with a charmed pendant, which you wear around your neck. You acquire steeds and slaves (although the slaves are not called slaves, given that I can buy and sell them, they are slaves) to help you fight off dangers and transport your goods. You buy low and sell high, of course.

There is, however, an underlying story-line. You are trying to find-out what happened to your parents and lift the curse that has befallen your kingdom. To start this story-line, you must make yourself a reliable caravan master, then seek-out the Queen of Sheba and speak with her.

You can play a good, evil, or neutral character in this game, btw. Your choices are what define that, however, as far as I remember, the consequences are always immediate, not long-term.

On one hand I wouldn't necessarily recommend Caravan because it's INCREDIBLY niche...BUT I did enjoy playing it for what it was.

Caravan is a short (but padded) game where you take your trading caravan around the pre-islamic Arabian Peninsula and revolves around the lost city 'Iram of the Pillars' and how you, as it's prince, return it's former glory.

Caravan is not an open trading game such as Patrician or Port Royale but more a story driven game with the trading mechanics tieing it together. Combat and haggling are handled with a rock/paper/scissors style dice game which is functional if not especially engaging. The story missions are fine and each chapter will unlock more cities in Arabia to travel around ultimately leading you full circle.

Game-play wise you're probably looking at 6-8 hours but I did spend more than that dossing around as a trader just because.

I could envision a game where the mechanics of Caravan are worked into a full on trading game and it would be nice to see in a potential 'Caravan 2' should such a thing ever exist.

천오백원내고 한 5시간정도 플레이 후 엔딩봄

1. 게임은 준내쉬움 그냥 싸게사서 비싸게 산다는것만 고집하면 돈 그냥 벌림. 전투나 흥정은 두세번만해보면 감잡기쉬움.

2. 말보다 낙타가 낫다

3. 전투능력치는 주인공 능력치보다 용병 능력치가 낫지만 그냥저냥 스토리밀기엔 주인공도 가능하다

4. 주인공의 흥정능력치는 10렙찍어도 마지막 미션에서 개발리니까 9렙이상 상인 준비해놓자

5. 퀘스트중에 팔미라에서 로마군대찾는 미션있는데 그거 한 10번쯤 왔다갔다해야됨 나처럼 번역잘못되었나 싶어서 아라비아 반도 일주하느라 한시간 날려먹지말고 끈기있게 팔미라를 왔다갔다해보자

Геймплей простой но затягивающий, пытаться сделать караван что пройдет всю пустыню и не потеряет никого и ничего по дороге та еще задача но выполнимая без особого труда. Случайные события на карте мира отлично погружают в атмосферу игры и не дают скучать. Особенно событие с торговцев солью, встретить его один раз и купить по скидке от торга соль а потом на обратном пути продать ему же его же соль но с наценкой из за торга это то еще удовольствие). Цены в магазинах одинаковы для обоих сторон, и например купив пшеницу за 15 вы можете ее тут же продать обратно за... 15 что неожиданно но приятно на фоне игр где купленный и ни разу не использованный предмет что ты хочешь вернуть обратно покупают едва ли за 10-12% его стоимости а затем кладут на витрину с тем же ценником с которым ты его купил пару минут назад.... Изменить цену можно через торг но вы можете и проиграть купить дороже чем надо или победить и купить дешевле, а можно наоборот продать дешевле а купить дороже. Цены в разных городах разные но меняются примерно каждые 7-10 дней по ощущениям (или через навык героя купца с 9 уровня) вместе с этим обновляя ассортимент товаров и объем денег у торговцев. Вообще смысл игры купить подешевле и продать подороже, а вот будет ли эта цель корректно выполнена зависит от игрока и его способностей мыслить наперед и принимать решения ведущие с к наибольшей выгоде.
10 нагретых на деньги торговцев солью что купили свой же товар обратно при этом переплатив из 10.

一款以历史上两河流域为载体，阿拉伯传说为背景的跑商冒险游戏，你作为伊兰的王子，招募商队，解开迷团，拯救城邦的故事。
美术和音乐都非常精美，带入感十分强烈，如果对阿拉伯文化感兴趣的话，这是一部不可多得的作品。玩法也很新颖，连我这种素来不喜欢跑商的人都能有滋有味的玩下去，战斗及讨价的模式也很好，数值比拼，简单易懂。故事整体上还算不错，游历了整个阿拉伯半岛。
瑕疵当然是有的，前期数值设计很棒，后面稍微拉跨，导致后期没有太多难度和挑战性。游戏也仅有故事模式，如果能优化下药水，装备系统，增加新的比如探索模式，比拼模式，那好玩程度会上升很多。故事本身虽然是标准的探险模板，但是神灵的部分，以及结果交代的有些匆忙。另外各种事件的动画也比较冗长，没有加速选项。
全成就比较简单，章节相关打完就有，值得注意的是，第二章通关以及three wise man成就都需要金子，金子属于白色的原材料，可以专门留几个。牲畜相关后期也很容易完成:只有两个需要注意，一个是5个女性英雄携带5个以上香料因此需要尽量优先招募女性英雄，最后在做3个男性英雄携带金子，没药以及乳香的成就。整体上来说，游戏价格很低，自动存档功能也很好，选择失误或者战斗失败没有什么惩罚，从上个档再来一次即可。整体上玩下来很舒服，值得五星好评。

Negatif yönlerine gelecek olursak da bahsettiğim rastgele olaylar düzenli olarak kendini tekrar ediyor, oyundaki hikaye başlarda merak ettirse de oyunun orta kısımlarında oldukça bunaltabiliyor ve hikayeye karşı ilginizi bu sebeple yitirebilirsiniz. Oyun teması güzel olmasına karşılık müzikleri çok basit ve sadece bir tema müziği var, oynadığım 12 saat boyunca sadece haritada 1 tema müziği dinlemek bir yerden sonra kulak tırmalıyor.
Benim ticaret dinamikleri ve teması yüzünden artıları eksilerinin önüne geçen bu oyunu tüm ticaret ve çöl temasını seven oyunculara tavsiye ederim. İndirim döneminde oldukça ucuz olan fiyatını kartlarıyla da tolere eden bir oyun.

This game really wasn't like anything I had played before. I must have come across it in a bundle, and decided to try something new.

I really enjoyed a lot about this game. It does a good job of teaching you what you need to know as you play, and the gameplay is challenging enough, but not overly difficult.

I do recommend, especially on a sale! Give it a try!

The Idea is really cool, but execution is poor. I'd live to have the game with little bit more interaction that just some skin pulled over excel table with random events, but I understand that this is a problem of budget not developers. I sill recommend this game, first, to cherish developers, second, so players will see that games can be different, so next time some people who would decide to buy some ordinary games of Ubisoft that has same ideas for decades or boring Sony games where grumpy man with bored face pushing himself through the mountain cavern, think about this game and how games could be different and interesting.

Mezcla de aventura y estrategia comercial con toques de rol. Tanto la música como los gráficos son muy repetitivos, y la dificultad está muy mal balanceada; al principio es bastante difícil pero una vez que tienes un mercenario competente te vuelves el fcking amo del desierto. really cool game. it's all about trading and expanding your caravan. it is kind of hard in the beginning and then its all about skill in the end game. the ability to buy cheap and sell high to get the upgrades and the goods you want. with no spoilers there are quests you finish and they take you to new places on the map that are very challenging.
