Even Tetris games were more fun.
Is a simple, fast-paced tower defense: short matches, clear waves, and a mission-based coin system to upgrade cannon stats. Great for casual play and players who prefer straightforward action.

The absolute lowest quality product imaginable, lower than your average free flash game. First off, it was made for mobile and is thus stuck as a phone-sized window in the center of your screen. The horrible graphics aside, it has an insane amount of issues for such a stupidly simple 'game'.
You place turrets at the bottom of the screen as enemies parachute down, and you click each turret to shoot at them. There are only 9 levels, so this can easily be cleared in probably ~30 minutes. It'd be even less if the waves (or, "wawes" as it's written in the UI) weren't so dreadfully slow.
It's frequently not even possible to clear all the enemies in a lane due to RNG and their health. The speed a turret can shoot is too slow for how much damage you need to do. You also can't move the turrets if the lanes are full. However, you can pick up a turret to avoid damage - something that I presume was unintentional.
Powerups will occasionally fall from the sky when you kill a guy. If you get the bomb one, which clears all enemies on screen, they'll all scream at the same time instead of having the sound effect limited like every game ever does.
I'm not convinced it didn't take me longer to write this review than it did it make this crap.
This game is amazing.
From the gameplay to the lore, this game is for casual and hardcore gamers alike. The lore is extremely rich and deep and it will keep you invested. I recommend this to anyone.

[h1] Wanting to make money by bringing mobile games to Steam [/h1]
In short: a crappy mobile port that has no business being on Steam, especially as a paid game. In detail: from a technical standpoint, it's as lazy as it gets—the game doesn’t support wide resolutions, so all the empty space on the sides is just filled with a camo texture. The graphics are primitive, but the real nightmare is the sound. The audio literally hurts your ears, and with the same looping music, it starts to get annoying after just a couple of levels (same goes for the two weird boss fights. Though they appear in other screenshots, I didn’t even have a boss health bar!).
Gameplay-wise, it’s a standard but super bare-bones Tower Defense with nine levels (there’s a 10th secret level too, but who cares?). The goal is simple: click to place a tower on a lane, upgrade its stats, and use boosts so enemies don’t reach your base. The problem is, there’s barely any content. The whole playthrough takes at most 50 minutes, and all the upgrades unlock way too fast with hardly any effort (I guess only levels 6-9 can’t be cleared without fully upgrading to three stars, but I’ve finished all the main stuff).
But the main complaint isn’t even about the length, it’s about how it actually plays. The whole thing comes down to mindless spamming of cannon attacks. Ideally, you have to mash the 'FIRE' button even before the enemy appears on screen, otherwise, you just can’t take them down. Even with full upgrades, some units just charge straight ahead in big waves and soak up damage like they’re immortal. You can see it’s done on purpose to somehow make the clunky mechanics more challenging, but in reality, it’s just exhausting and annoying.
If they had added a few more levels and actually worked on the balance a bit, this could’ve been a decent game. As it stands — it’s an empty, awkward mess in a questionable military style that you really don’t want to recommend. And sadly, it’s from our own Russian developers.

One of the most flawed Tower Defense I've ever played, well at least passable - and thank you for that.
The game has 10 levels (9 main + bonus) and two bosses, minimally different from each other. At each level we are attacked from above by various soldiers and equipment, and we counter them with three (at some levels - 4) guns. The action takes place on a monotonous, graphics-poor landscape to a looped "military" tune.
There are several kinds of improvements and bonuses, without development and getting them it will be difficult to pass even the second level (seriously, I replayed the first level ten times in order to develop at least a little bit on the earned money and finally complete the second level), that is "forced" grind is provided for you.
In general, before us is another shoddy indie game from the category of "achivki-cards-give me goodbye". I bought it at a discount, knocked out everything I needed and forgot it like a bad dream.
If you want to relax, hit the pixel bad guys and feel like the commander-in-chief of a gunboat - take it. And if you're expecting plot, drama and RTX - well... that's in a different game.

Simple shooter that last around one hour until you grab all achievements.
The gameplay is quite basic. You must place cannons at the bottom of the screen and shoot enemies approaching from the top. Enemy units include basic infantry, grenadiers, drones, and armored vehicles. The goal is to survive all waves across nine stages.
There is only enough room for three or more cannons, so you may fill those slots pretty quickly. They are also inexpensive and easily replaced if destroyed. Even if you only have one cannon, you can easily take it and move it to another slot. Firing, however, is not automatic. Instead, you need to wait for the "fire" button to fill up before clicking on it.
Killing enemies grants you stars and money. They occasionally drop an additional star, which must be collected by clicking on it. The stars are then used to enhance the cannon's power and recharge rate, as well as to purchase modifiers such as armor-piercing or antitank ammo. However, this will merely open the option; you will still need to purchase the actual ammo during a stage using money.
Stages can be replayed, so you can grind for stars. This can be done easily on level 5 that includes a boss. After a few rounds, you will have enough stars to upgrade and purchase anything. This makes the second part of the game a walk in the part.
If you grab all the achievements, which can easily be done during normal gameplay, you’ll unlock a bonus stage where you control a single cannon but can aim anywhere on the screen.

Cannons-Defenders: Steam Edition é um jogo no mesmo estilo de Space Invaders (só que com soldados, ninjas e tanques) onde o tempo inteiro você passará apertando somente o botão esquerdo do mouse e mesmo assim terminará as 9 fases do jogo em 30 minutos. Após 5 minutos de jogatina o jogo já perde a graça e você não quer mais jogar, mas caso você queira e goste de platinar (assim como eu) será obrigado a joga-lo por mais tempo. O jogo tem conquistas e cartas e mesmo sendo muito barato recomendo somente se você quiser upar seu level na Steam, fora isso não vale a pena. Nota 1/10. Não recomendo!

I bought this for 0.08p and I feel ripped off.
[b][h2]Gameplay[/h2][/b]Enemies parachute from the sky and you must place cannons in slots and then click fire, the issues start immediately with the fact that you can only drag and drop the cannon from the base of its model, it's so unintuitive and janky. You must then move your cannons to be able to shoot the other lanes, which proceeds to not place because the spot you need to place it on is so precise, its frustratingly awful and in desperate need of keyboard controls. And don't get me started on the fact that sometimes bullets don't even seem to register on the enemies.
There are 9 main levels which are balanced awfully, there are too many enemies way too soon and you are forced to take damage. In the 5th level you earn way more medals for the permanent upgrades so you might aswell just farm there before moving on. The 9th level is an awful boss level against a plane that doesn't really make sense, after beating it you are given a bonus level where you are able to aim a single cannon, this level is better than the entire rest of the game.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Utilize your cannon to shoot down parachutists descending from above. Acquire additional cannons to increase your capacity to shoot down more parachutists. Speed is essential, and at times, you'll need to swap the cannon from one slot to another swiftly, or you risk missing some. Beware, as the parachutists retaliate by firing back and can destroy your cannons.

Cannons-Defenders: Steam Edition is a poorly made hybrid tower defense and platespinner/reflexes game as you defend three columns by shooting cannons up against parachuting invaders. You can upgrade the cannons etc with money gained from killing the troops.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the fixed resolution simplistic vector art used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals.
Problematically, the user interface for this game is just a 2D panel with a few static images... it might as well be a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Cannons-Defenders: Steam Edition has achievments, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "First Blood", gained from killing your first enemy, trivial to achieve, and yet only around 4 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Cannons-Defenders: Steam Edition is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. If you want a good tower defense game, try Kingdom Rush or Orcs Must Die.

Сподобалася музика: і фанфари в кінці рівнів, і рокові композиції. Звукові ефекти, коли знищуєш ворога теж повеселили, як на мій смак).
