I've only played to one ending and then watched the other parts of the game at a friend, thus my very low playtime. If you actually do that yourself, you'll get FAR MORE hours out of this!

That aside: Brok is a lovely mix between classical "point and click" adventure, but with Beat 'em Up like fighting mode, which also allows you to "solve" some of the puzzles using violence.
I think this is a combination I've never seen before and it works surprisingly well.

The story and characters are lovely. The game has several endings, depending on your choices, ranging from funny, over "what the ♥♥♥♥" to absolutely heartbreaking. And all of them are handled lovingly.

The game is fully voiced and has a ton of accessibility options including blind accessibility.

The artstyle is lovely to me, but you can judge that from the screenshots.

Really an impressive adventure, and far more than just the "silly colorful Monkey Island" or whatever the screenshots might make you believe.

I recommend it to all fans of point and click adventures that can stomach a quite deep and at points heavy story.

This game is incredible! I was surprised at the number of decisions you make, and almost every decision has an effect on the rest of the game. It's hard to believe that this game is voice acted because of the number of lines of dialogue in it. The world building in the first chapter got me hooked, and I am very interested to see what comes next.

After many playthroughs, I gotta say - this is quite a good game. It has a heartfelt story, and is more than the sum of its parts.

I've continued to go back to it, picked it up again and again to get through all the endings. And tried to unlock more achievements (sadly, some of the achievements seemed bugged, I've saved Tramp in two complete playthroughs but that achievement is still locked for me). I've also gotten all the endings now, and same thing - not unlocked that achievement.

The character art in this game is pretty incredible. As simple as it is, the walking, exploring, and brawling are just very well done. I finished out Brawl Bar just to keep enjoying the fighting - it really feels good to pick it up and learn it, and to chain things together to get through the fights. I do wish Brawl Bar allowed for advanced leveling in the main game, with experience maybe carrying over to the expansion. There's not a huge benefit to levels after numerous playthroughs but I'm still not max level. Leveling and progression would have benefitted from a slightly more interesting system, too (a level nets you your choice of more health, strength, or special attack) - but, there's also not a lot of places to grind in this game, either, other than VR tutorials or some of the late game levels where you have to fight hordes of enemies.

The story, and the variety of endings, also really change per each playthrough. Getting the canonical ending is fine, but striving to get the others? Awesome - because for some of the endings, you definitely see more growth, more payback, after spending more time with these characters. Don't stop with a single playthrough - go back through and keep trying to get the other endings.

There are some characters I just wish we had more time with. Here, now as I'm wrapping up my time with the game, I will miss some of the characters, especially Shay, and of course Brok; Mink is also well written and voiced, and just a heck of a good character. That says a lot. Writing and voice acting really add to this game.

I haven't played many games like this. Being honest, I didn't know what to expect. But, I do hope to see more from this developer, the voice actors, artists, and programmers that worked to bring this world to reality.

Net-net: Play this, it has heart!

I first came across this game from an ad that it shown on the FurAffinity website back in March 2023. The first thing I saw is the character design artstyle which is quite unique, since I rarely seen a game with this animal cartoon style, especially in this modern game era where are mostly either 3D or just simple design. I played the game in June 2023 and the story is pretty interesting to follow, even though it took a while for me to understand the universe as in whole. Honestly I rarely played fighting game but this game have an experience of a either mix martial arts and other kinds of fighting game that I know.

The good thing is that you can adjust the difficulty, so that if people just wanted the game to be relax they can pick the "Relaxed" mode. Same goes for the hardcore people, just pick the "Hardcore" mode. Another thing I find it quite surprising is that the game is blind-people friendly, which is give it a plus on that.

So, if anyone loves cartoon style characters and also like a fighting type of game, this game could give it a try and experience yourself!

Man when I first downloaded the demo on the Nintendo Switch I was already blown away. Punch and Click is such a good idea that's been done so well. Brok the Investigator allows you to really experiment with your choices with how many of them you can make (heck I don't even have all the choices found yet that's how many their are). It's so worth it to solve puzzles without using ads it feels really rewarding.

Je n'ai pas encore terminé l'aventure. J'ai découvert ce jeu en raison de ses options d'accessibilité, un grand merci au développeur pour ça! L'accessibilité pour les mal et non-voyant est parfaite en anglais, mais nécessitera un petit peu de bidouillage pour l'avoir en français, en passant par une vieille version d'NVDA avec un patch, ou, j'espère, avec des patchs plus à jour qui feraient le même job. Ca serait dommage de se laisser décourager par ce petit bidouillage initial. Le jeu, lui (enfin), est un point and click très cool, avec l'originaliter de comporter des éléments d'actions (qui ne pourrissent pas le principe du point and click). Très agréable à jouer, qui donne envie de poursuivre et d'y revenir. J'ai malheureusement déjà fait face à quelques bugs qui m'ont fait sauter des scènes, m'ont obligés à reprendre un peu plus tôt et semblent avoir mis la pagaille dans mes choix narratifs précédents. Domage! J'ai peut-être pas eu de chance. Il n'en reste pas moins que le jeu mérite d'être découvert si on a envie d'un point and click qui bouscule un peu les codes, et qui demande peu de ressources. Si le développeur remet ça, je serai là, je le sais avant d'avoir finit celui-ci.

J'ai l'impression étrange d'être suivie ces derniers temps. Alors oui, dans les quartiers pauvres, nous les Slumers ne sommes jamais vraiment à l'abri, entre la pollution et la corruption... contrairement à ces riches de Drumers bien au chaud sous leur dôme protecteur. Pour me rassurer, j'ai donc fait appel à un détective, enfin, "Investigator" comme ce crocodile aime se faire appeler. Certains ont encore de l'humour visiblement. Il aurait réussi à résoudre plusieurs enquêtes, à coups de réflexion mais aussi à coups de poing. Alors, entre patience ou violence, cette enquête aura-t-elle assez de mordant ?

❤ On est plongé dans un monde post apocalyptique avec un petit côté cyberpunk, où les "humains" ont muté vers une apparence anthropomorphe. Cependant, tout est représenté dans un style très cartoonesque et coloré, presque enfantin, adoucissant la violence de certaines thématiques sans jamais les étouffer. Les animations sont vraiment soignées, que ce soit dans l'expressivité des sprites ou dans le dynamisme des combats, ce qui participe à donner vie à ce monde pourtant en voie d'extinction. Pour ce qui est des décors, ils sont suffisamment lisibles tout en étant assez denses pour dissimuler subtilement certains éléments interactifs, sans pour autant asphyxier le joueur. Cette direction artistique trouve donc un juste milieu pour ne pas brouiller les pistes.
❤ Chaque personnage appartient à une race animale différente, ce qui les rend immédiatement identifiables. C'est un choix aussi efficace pour la mémorabilité que pertinent sur le plan scénaristique, puisque cela renforce une des principales thématiques du jeu, à savoir, le sens d'être humain dans un univers où violence primitive et robotique prédominent. Mais au milieu de ces conflits, les relations sont toutes aussi importantes. Si Brok et son fils forment le cœur de l'histoire, les autres protagonistes apportent également des réflexions profondes sur le regret, la justice ou encore l'héritage du passé. On le voit d'ailleurs dans la charte finale ; nos liens peuvent façonner le cours de notre aventure, accentuant la portée émotionnelle sans jamais verser dans le pathos ou les larmes de crocodile.
❤ Le jeu a été financé par crowdfunding et intègre fièrement sa communauté dans l'expérience : la création de mods est permise, des bonus à débloquer mettent en avant les fanarts des joueurs, et un comparatif des choix effectués est accessible à la fin de la partie. Comme quoi, derrière les crocs de cet univers, il y a surtout du cœur.

+/- Même si l'histoire se focalise sur une investigation, elle touche à plusieurs thèmes comme les inégalités sociales ou l'écologie, en mêlant habilement humour et drame. Elle n'est pas linéaire car plusieurs embranchements sont possibles, donnant sur plusieurs fins influencées par nos actions : des choix de dialogue, la complétion d'objectifs secondaires, les relations entre personnages ou même notre approche en jeu à savoir, privilégier les combats ou les énigmes. Il y a donc une forte rejouabilité, ce qui peut même aboutir à des scènes inédites, une fois chaque fin atteinte. Une option d'avance rapide et de retour en arrière sont aussi disponibles pour faciliter les nouvelles parties. Toutefois, une seule fin est considérée comme "canonique" et introduit un élément surprenant, assez méta, qui à mes yeux pollue légèrement l'équilibre du récit en s'intégrant moins naturellement au reste (je suspecte l'influence d'un certain jeu japonais dont je tairai le nom). Les autres conclusions, allant du plus tragique au plus optimiste, sont certes marquantes mais ne délivrent jamais toutes les clefs des mystères soulevés. En l'état, il subsiste donc un sentiment d'inachevé une fois le jeu fini... à moins qu'une séquelle voie le jour pour combler ces zones d'ombre.
+/- Le gameplay se caractérise par une belle variété de mécaniques, ce qui laisse au joueur une liberté d'expérimentation : on peut cliquer partout quitte à faire des bourdes, ou même frapper ce que l'on veut, non sans conséquences. Il m'est même arrivé de résoudre une énigme trop tôt par hasard, ce qui m'a valu un game over des plus amusants. Côté combat, la difficulté est adaptable avec un mode accessible pour les pacifistes, ou des affrontements demandant une vraie maîtrise des combos pour les joueurs au sang froid. Ma principale réserve concerne la gestion de profondeur des terrains, car j'ai plusieurs fois eu du mal à distinguer sur quel plan se situaient les ennemis. Pour les énigmes, elles sont particulièrement diversifiées entre objets à trouver, interrogatoires et mécanismes à débloquer. Des indices sont également à notre disposition si besoin pour les détectives en difficulté. Cependant, certaines manquent un peu de clarté dans leur méthode ; il arrive que l'on doit cliquer plusieurs fois au même endroit pour valider une information, ce qui n'est pas vraiment instinctif pour notre crocodile en herbe.
+/- La BO mise sur des musiques "futuristes" aux sonorités métalliques et percussives, me rappelant parfois [i]Blade Runner[/i], et qui s'associent très bien à ce décor post-apo. En revanche, malgré le nombre de pistes, j'ai trouvé que l'ambiance tournait beaucoup trop autour de deux thèmes principaux, devenant parfois un peu redondante. Le sound design fonctionne très bien pour la partie robotique et les combats, mais aurait pu être davantage exploité pour accentuer l'atmosphère des différents lieux. Enfin, il est vrai que pour un jeu français, je regrette l'absence d'un doublage francophone, mais je peux comprendre qu'un doublage anglais soit plus stratégique pour toucher un public plus large. Celui-ci est globalement satisfaisant, notamment pour les deux personnages principaux, bien que certaines voix sonnent par moments un peu trop exagérées à mon goût, mais sans être vraiment gênants.

✖ J'ai trouvé le menu principal assez fouillis, tout comme le menu en jeu. La navigation y est un peu sauvage et l'ergonomie pourrait être améliorée pour retrouver les choses plus rapidement.
✖ Tous les bonus à débloquer dans le menu doivent être récupérés un par un, et face à la jungle de fanarts, le cliquage devient vite laborieux. Une option de sélection multiple aurait grandement facilité le processus.

Brok aura été un détective efficace et je peux dire qu'il a de la gueule ! Si j'avais un peu douté de ses capacités au départ, sa force ne réside pas seulement dans ses poings mais bien dans la richesse de ses approches, nous plongeant dans une histoire plutôt palpitante... mais qui laisse pourtant un petit goût d'incomplet. Ces mystères seront-ils un jour résolus ? En attendant, je regarde cet investigator s'éloigner.
Sur les bords du dôme, il est parti... n'en parlons plus ?

横板过关配上侦探推理，推理部分比较偏搜证，遇到推不出的案件可以直接武力解决。打了3个结局感觉还有挺多坑没填上，可能推完全部结局才能了解故事全貌，但多周目重复度太高实在懒得推了，整体上中规中矩吧。

Ho intrapreso questo gioco pensando ad un semplicissima avventura grafica in stile cartoon, ma ne sono rimasto incredibilmente colpito.
Se la base è quella appena descritta, in realtà questo titolo contiene molto altro. Innanzitutto lo stile di gioco permette approcci completamente diversi agli enigmi, potendo risolvere con il cervello o a suon di botte. Non è un percorso distinto com'era quello di Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, ma quasi tutti gli enigmi posso essere risolti in due modi diversi.
Come conseguenza l'approccio agli enigmi, le risposte ai personaggi e le varie scelte modellano la storia (e il finale), le relazioni coi personaggi e la loro sopravvivenza come fosse un gioco di Quantic Dream.
Infine si viene catapultati in un modo futuristico distopico abitato da animali antropomorfi, ricco di dettagli interessanti di lore che vengono pian piano rivelati. La storia si intreccia tra discorsi sullo spazio-tempo, disperazione, diritti civili, le difficoltà di un 15enne ad orfano a comprenderei il suo genitore adottivo e i tentativi goffi di quest'ultimo di tenere fede ad una promessa fatta.
Senza dubbio un titolo immancabile, non troppo difficile anche per chi non è pratico di avventure grafiche, con molti finali e intrecci da scoprire.

I'm weirdly fond of this game. I don't quite know that I'd rec it, but I appreciate its ambitiousness and desire to be about something, especially in comparison to the other two games in this post.

The game reminds me so much of fanfic. It's got that problem above-average fanfic often has of raw talent and zero apparent experience, where the writing is competent but just stuffed to the gills with a billion different [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/MST3K/comments/a03urr/concepts_song_from_1204/]concepts[/url] all working at cross-purposes. Like fanfic, it's bloated to three times the size it should be and can't conceivably wrap up all its plotlines, so it opts to not even try, instead shoving audiences toward a "true end" that contains no actual resolution.

There are three distinct stories happening here:

Brok is a down-on-his luck PI who stumbles on a conspiracy to exterminate the poor classes in the Slums where he lives.
Graff is an orphaned teenager dealing with Family Stuff and trying to manage a school bully while he prepares for The Big Test.
Shay is a genius scientist condemned as insane for her time-travel experiments, which no one knows have finally been successful.

If these sounds like three wildly different stories that would be hard to cleanly integrate, you are correct! 2 and 3 should have been cut, and the protagonist should have been Brok, the guy the game is named after, and his dealing with the complexities of his society while also trying to balance his personal life. You know. Like a story.

Instead the story tries to be about everything a story could possibly be about, and it's honestly a mess at times -- from scene to scene you never know which plot you're going to be in, and the tone whiplash can be wild, as you go from Brok being beat up by gangsters to Graff in a schoolroom to Shay spewing Uchikoshi science. The story is constantly grinding to a halt and restarting, managing to be competent enough to get you re-invested only to grind to a halt and restart again.

It also makes the mistake of trying to be about All the Issues, but in doing so is never able to treat any of them meaningfully. I also get the sense the writer is young, at least politically, because much of what is there is surface-level in a way that goes beyond just brevity -- it's very much someone who is aware of broad problems but not their more complex implications. There are a lot of very weird implications in this game. There's just no way any of these things could be meaningfully tackled by a story that is constantly trying to include all of them while also telling a minimum of three completely different plots.

It's a shame, because like I said, there is clear talent here. That this game hangs together as well as it does -- and it actually does manage to hold itself together for long stretches -- is a testament to that. But it really needed someone else in editorial to act as a second writer/editor/script supervisor and whisper "kill your darlings" in the dev's ear.

This would of course mean committing to a narrative. I'm very sick of games refusing to tell a holistic story and instead giving you a dozen wildly different endings that lack any semblance of cohesion. This game makes an even more artistically cowardly decision to railroad you toward a "canonical ending" that's a complete nonending where literally nothing is meaningfully resolved. It's another indication of an inexperienced writer; I feel like we all go through that stage where an epic shrug feels edgy and deep before realizing that it's actually boring and a cop-out. And I'm not sure why he thought anyone would want a story about family dynamics and class warfare to suddenly take a hard turn into full Uchikoshi at the end; who was that even for?

On the other hand, the gameplay here is quite good, let down largely by the story's bloat drawing it out too long. It's part detective point-and-click, part brawler, which is a really fun and unique combination. I'm not a big fighting games person so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it was accessible enough that I really did. The action sequences broke up the narrative ones really well, and I enjoyed how many times I'd be trying to figure out a puzzle and then just realize, oh right, I can smash ♥♥♥♥! I like how many nonviolent solutions actually involved smashing things, lol.

The hint system is genuinely brilliant. The game has one set of collectables, which can be used as a currency to buy hints. The hints are perfect, spoiler free and point you in the general direction without giving away solutions, steadily getting more specific if you still need help. For me they were especially useful for times when I'd missed something small, like an interactable, or if I hadn't realized so-and-so still had dialogue left -- it meant I could always be sure I'd seen everything.

And the interrogation mechanic was fun! I felt the game generally managed to guide the player toward the deductions effectively. The one time I had an issue was during the Tidy investigation, where I realized the solution as soon as I found the map, but then had to wait for Brok to catch up in order to accuse the culprit. But on the whole I was impressed at how frequently I would realize what was happening at the same time as Brok, which made me feel nice and clever during the investigation sequences. The Wes one at the end was particularly good on this. I really enjoyed how competent Brok was. The detectives in these games have been kind of stupid so far (with one or two exceptions) so it was nice to be on the same page as him.

I also enjoyed how often I would go, "Hey, I wonder if that's an option?" and it indeed was. I liked that there were multiple ways to solve almost every problem, and one of the pluses of the brawler thing was that if you really got stuck at a puzzle you could almost always punch your way through the sequence. It was a pretty funny diegetic way of preventing the player from getting frustrated.

There's a lot to like about this game. But at the same time, I'm not sure I'd get the sequel -- I just don't think the quantity of entirely disparate hanging threads is salvageable, at least not without bringing on a couple editorial staff, and I'm not interested in another story that won't commit to a narrative. I would, however, potentially be interested if the dev started a completely new story, in hopes that this experience would have helped him create something more polished and cohesive next time.

This is legitimately a great game! It's rich in story, characters and plot. It also doesn't force you into reading and understanding the lore - you can go through the lore and story, solve puzzles, or brawl through everything. It's completely up to you!

When I first found this game I tried the demo and really enjoyed what I played so I have been thinking about getting it for a while, I recently got lucky enough to win a giveaway from the developer on Twitter to own this game, so I'm going to try and give my thoughts on my playthrough so far. I high recommend trying the demo if you are considering buying this game since it was a great representation of my playthrough soo far and the enjoyment I got from the quality of the demo has been shown in more so in the full game. In the story I have really enjoyed the twists in the plot itself and all of the dialog of Brok during investigations, a highlight from my playthrough so far has been the different interactions with characters and trying to solve the problems they have. When it comes to choices while they are a bit limited but I have enjoyed how they have impacted the game including the world itself and it is clear that your actions can have consequences. Gameplay wise Brok the Investigator has beat em up elements for combat combined with a point and click like game when you are involved in investigations both felt fleshed out when trying them with a controller/mouse and were combined seamlessly with the story. Since you are an investigator the game also has a variety of mini games in the world itself that were simple but engaging and puzzles to solve to progress in your cases that I quite enjoyed these and finding the clues I needed to finish my investigations. Overall I highly recommend Brok the Investigator it is a highly underrated game that put a lot of depth into its world and you can tell the developers put a lot of care into it's development!

Un mélange (trop rare) entre point-and-click et beat-them-up, parfaitement dosé. Les enquêtes sont savoureuses (en particulier sur qui a tué le docteur, où il y a moyen de bien se planter !), l'histoire sympathique, les combats défoulatoires sans être frustrants - il vaut mieux leveler un peu dans la cabine d'entraînement, mais rien de rédhibitoire. A noter, autre chose rare, que l'on peut y jouer à deux sur le même écran avec les manettes dans le canapé - ce que j'ai fait, et ça s'y prête très bien !

Bref, c'est une pépite ! Par contre, je ne recommande pas le DLC 'brawl bar', qui s'intègre mal dans l'histoire principale et n'est pas mon style de jeu.

3.广告设计确实不错但是有的广告在可破坏道具上破坏后无法获得就很难绷而且有的广告完全就是和解谜一样这里摸两下那里摸两下建议全部改成阴间位置这不是搞解谜
4.人物对话一个选项还要点几次才对话完这又不是贴吧一次性说完不好吗
5.多结局的重复部分太多了这种非视觉小说类游戏搞多结局都懒得玩太复杂了打哪个结局算哪个

This game left me speechless. I had such a blast playing, even though I'm not really the most patient person when it comes to solving puzzles. Despite this, I was so invested with the story, the lovely artstyle and the variety in gameplay options. After just getting my first ending, I'm stunned at how many different paths there are to take and how easily you can miss even the tiniest things. Great for replayability, which I will definitely do. This is the most fun I've had in my recent years of playing videogames, from such an unsuspecting hidden gem.

I love this game and for the sheer fact alone that it is great value for the price, a hidden gem and just an absolute blast to play + has a really good story where every single choice matters, I give it an easy 10/10.

I highly recommend you try Brok and see for yourself!

This game is amazing, if slightly flawed, but I really love it and its clearly such a passion project.
I see this game updated constantly, and Its been awesome to see DLC breathe more life into the original game.

The movement can be a smidge clunky, and you can be stunlocked in larger fights, but this is rarely an issue with generious checkpoints, and game over artwork that is encouraged to be collected.

The story is a smidge cheesy, and trying to solve some puzzles in a positive way can be some real moon logic, but I am glad I stuck with it and I now feel hooked to get all the endings. I would really love to see more from this developer as they have real skill, and with some slight tweaks, a sequel could be phenomenal!

If you have any interest, I highly recommend checking it out!

说是hidden gem根本不为过，独立游戏，单人制作人并外包了大多制作的情况下能做到这个体量和质量是难以置信的，更别说作者还专门造了轮子（免费的视觉小说引擎）并做了极其多的平台和辅助功能适配，无论在技术还是艺术都是不可多得的佳作。
过去不怎么看得上格斗或横版动作游戏，但这个游戏让我有了很大改观，简单的2D动作不比3D差，打击感之类的都很在线。
总之，完美结合了“点击解密”“横版动作”“侦探推理”几大类型的优点，辅以优质的反乌托邦世界观和剧情，让我丝毫不后悔以原价购入（多给点也不是不行）。我也希望作品能获得更广泛的传播，找同人就不用这么费劲了。。。

遊戲有明顯的優缺點，但大致上算好玩。動作的部份很有小時候玩街機的手感，有點笨笨的但敵人節奏很好抓。

優點：
1.劇情，設定上有點懸疑的味道，會讓人好奇最後人物關係如何變化
2.解謎，難度適中，提示的數量也很夠
3.語音，全章節都有語音，誠意很足

缺點：
1.故事走向，看到有評論寫說雖然跟不同角色有互動性，但設計上自由度跟公平性不夠，這點真的滿同意的。例如開場遇到的流浪漢，很想救他也一直掛在心上，但被章節強制關進牢房出來之後人就沒了。設計上不夠讓玩家實際上達到想做的事情。
2.案件推理，線索種類太多，玩到後來有點在瞎湊
3.關卡流程不小心就被強制推進，玩到結局的時候，要上[spoiler]時光機[/spoiler]之前，想說出去場景再檢查一下還有什麼東西沒找到，就被當成[spoiler]不搭時光機[/spoiler]，直接強制進入另一個結局....
4.回章節重新遊玩的紀錄點應該可以再切細一點，想重新試另一個結局但一想到還要再打一次BOSS就覺得太累放棄了Zzz

For me, this game is like if you put Blade Runner and bit of Silent Hill 2 together with cute furry characters. The story is about a widowed, troubled, yet determined man living with his son in poverty, on top of that, in a world that's already bleak and highly dangerous with an on-going [spoiler] anti-pollution pill crisis with a corrupt policeman behind it [/spoiler]. During your journey, you have to think carefully (some small decisions may have a bigger outcome), remember the whether some of the characters you spoke to before may not need something and decide whether you want to take the smart approach or brute approach. If you decide to mainly stick with the brute approach, prepare to pay the price with the casualities or reactions of the characters disturbed by your actions, which leads me to talk about how are the characters in this game written and acted out. All characters have their own depth, their uniqueness, their goals and their story, you will sympathize with almost everyone there, including some that you may find vile at first, but later get surprised by how they actually are like. There is no character with a bad voice actor, every one of them have the same quality of excellence. Everyone is quite chatty and have a lot of to say about anything, even pretty much all of your items you carry throughout the journey, and I really love this. Game performance is perfect, controls are a bit tough to master, especially if you play on PC, but playing with a controller will drastically make it feel easier, but you still gotta be focused, especially when playing on higher difficulty settings. The soundtrack is very atmospheric, catching and will certainly make you emotional, especially during the scenes with Brok and Graff together. I must say I really enjoyed the performance of Bryan J. Olson and Michael Kovach, their voices really brought their characters to life. I could feel the each bit of sorrow, happiness, grudge and pain in their voices, and that really won my heart. Each of Brok and Graff's arguments were intense for me and felt pain from each of them. These characters and their actors were masterfully done. The game also offers a variety of multiple endings and many different branches with some options to skip already-seen dialogues, fights, action scenes or interrogations so you can easily make a re-run of the game. These add to the replay value of the game and encourages you to go with different playstyles or choices for each walkthrough.

My favorite ending was [spoiler] "Slumer", I could not let myself make Brok a terrible, lying father and make Graff feel pushed away and alone, or worse, keep him in his already miserable state. The "Canon" ending quite hurts for me, but I can give it a pass. I'm just hoping that in the future, in more of Brok projects, we get to see Brok and Graff reconcile at least a little bit and that they both are more at peace. What happens in the story was already enough for them and they don't deserve to go through so much horrible events. [/spoiler]

I'm really hoping we also get some more look into the game's world in the future, I'm very interested in learning more about it and I don't think there's enough of what we have now, including that one late-game chapter.

O jogo está espectacular. O Beat'Em Up que mistura géneros como point and click e narrativa mais adulta torna-o num jogo incrível e recomendável para os mais graúdos.

O MOD que permite colocar qualquer personagem, até mesmo os do Streets of Rage 2 (mostra imenso potencial de como este jogo dá mais atenção para os fãs de Beat'em Up), eu até próprio gostaria de jogar com Sol Badguy neste MOD no The Brawl Bar.

I really wanted to like this game, but alas, I just couldn't. There's a certain inefficiency to the dialogue that adds a lot of friction. Like, instead of saying "that won't work" or "I don't know what that is," characters will have a whole silly back-and-forth about the object you tried to use, which adds up and slows down the pacing drastically. I remember this being a feature of children's games from the 90s/early 2000s, so maybe it's nostalgic for some people, but I didn't miss it. And of course, if you're playing co-op your player 2 has nothing to do during these exchanges, so you run the risk of losing their attention.

You ever wondered what it would be like if put-put saves the zoo was about put-put's dog pep being radicalized against the treatment of the animals in the zoo?

Maybe Freddie fish was about a dystopian government polluting the ocean she lived in?

What if Pajama sam was afraid of darkness because he had PTSD and learned that punching darkness in the face helped him cope with his trauma?

That's what playing Brok the investigator felt like. You go in with a expectation with the game's silly pun of a title and charming 90's era art style. Then you side swiped with commentary that aged maybe a little bit too well 3 years sense it's release; packed with characters who has some serious baggage. With 11 endings that will either make your heart melt. Or break it Depending on what you choose to do in the game.

Also did I mention you can punch every one in the game I spent a entire day punching the main characters just for laughs.

P.S Graff Filsh with all of his flaws is my fave character. He's Bright intelligent but being a bit too gullible with strangers and intense loneliness is why I feel like he has the most room to grow as a character in any future DLC and or sequel. I think it would be cool to see Graff become a leading character in future games. There is so much you can do with the guy. (Like therapy maybe lol)

BROK the Investigator, un jeu surprenant à bien des égards !
Derrière des graphismes aux allures cartoonesques se cachent des thèmes qui semblent inspirés des films de science-fiction des années 90.
Un jeu où vos choix, même les plus petits, peuvent engendrer une galaxie de possibilités et influencer l'histoire d'une manière inattendue.

O que dizer do jogo? Incrível, não é tão complicado de se entender, divertido e com lutas fodas. É um jogo ótimo pra quem gosta de experimentar possibilidades, já que o efeito borboleta nesse jogo define muitas rotas. Sim, o jogo tem rotas e finais alternativos. Eu recomendo tanto pela investigação e a força que teu cerebelo vai usar pra entender muitos acontecimentos pra definir culpados ou fatos narrativos, quanto pela pancadaria desenfreada que você pode causar porque sim e ponto. Eu curti muito o jogo, recomendo muito pra quem gosta de fuçar tudo ou pra quem gosta de um jogo de porradaria casual.

Максимальный из ряда вон point-click, но в очень хорошем смысле (с элементами файтинга, конечно же). Сюжет достаточно интересный, и как минимум два раза пройти для вариативности самое то!
Ну и, конечное же, можно играть с несколькими игроками! Я очень доволен, рекомендую к игре, хотя бы на вечерок.

Was feeling nostalgic for a point and click game and came upon Brok the Investigator. I haven’t beat the game yet but have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

Love the branching paths and different ways to solve puzzles and the beat em up sections add nice variety. Great voice acting too and love the 90’s cartoon vibe. I wish more games would adopt this style.

What a pleasant surprise of a game. Hidden gem for sure.

Amazing story, characters, environments. Fighting was also fun.
Many outcomes, different endings, your choices matter, even the ones that may seem insignificant.

很好的一款游戏，游戏荒的时候买的想着打发下时间，但这游戏给我很大的惊喜，前几章可能并不吸引人但是随着剧情的推进真相浮出水面会让你一直想玩下去，解密有点硬核好在有提示，儿子这个角色在我看来不是很讨喜，最后结局没太看懂，看了个一知半解，之后可能会做全成就打多结局。游戏真的不错希望大家多发一点评价我觉得起码比一些价不符实的傲慢游戏有诚意
