I bought this game on a whim, I saw the reviews some were not so great, some were good, I like Sci-fi, I like space, I like survival, and I like the slight humor, this game far exceeded all expectations, I'm glad I saw this game in the store, I haven't previously heard of it, and I am definitely going to get the second game when it comes out, if you like the things I listed you will love this game.

Le jeu, dans l'ensemble, était sympathique mais sans plus.

Les objectifs sont parfois très flous et compliqués pour rien. Le jeu est truffé de petites choses qui ne sont pas si gênantes isolément, mais mises bout à bout, ça devient agaçant.

La durabilité des outils est parfois ridiculement faible. Quand un outil arrive à quelques utilisations restantes, vous devez en prendre un deuxième « au cas où », ce qui fait une place en moins dans l’inventaire… Pourquoi ne pas pouvoir réparer ou fusionner des armes ?

Le système de construction est infâme : si vous n’avez pas les matériaux, vous ne pouvez même pas visualiser le module pour en connaître le gabarit. En fonction du type de module, on met différents systèmes dedans, mais ce n’est pas expliqué, donc on tourne en rond pour rien…
De plus, quand vous démontez un module, vous récupérez des ressources qui n’ont rien à voir… pourquoi ?!

Le jeu affiche une énorme quantité d’informations à l’écran et vous n’avez pas de carte (en tout cas, je n’en ai toujours pas après 12 h de jeu), donc l’écran devient vite un bazar qui casse complètement le côté exploration/découverte.

Enfin, les ressources sont théoriquement limitées donc possible de se soft lock ou galéré pour avancer dans l'histoire.

Bref, si le jeu est à quelques euros en promo et que vous aimez explorer sans avoir un lore ou un gameplay dingue, why not. Sinon, dépensez plutôt votre argent dans d’autres jeux.

Le jeu a un potentiel énorme.

Mais les outils qui se cassent.... c'est juste épouvantable.
Je suis à quelques heures de jeu, et j'ai du faire 10 ou 15.... gourdins (le truc qui tape)

Le jeu est comique et m'a fait rire, les graphismes sont bons. Et la bande son ça passe (un peu redondant)

Mais après avoir cassé ma dernière mattraque, il me fallait farmer 8 métal (encore) en les récupérant un par un sachant qu'il y en a peu, et qu'avec l'oxygène faut faire des allés retours fréquents..... histoire de refaire deux gourdins..... la flemme...

Ce jeu c'est du grind à fond. Et c'est dommage

More of a maybe, its a fresh take on survival crafters. Be warned though, even with remapping available, the controls are a bit unintuitive, and you might want to mute the game volume; the companion ai is just so obnoxious, it gives me a headache almost instantly. It rambles off its script so fast, and gets immediately interrupted by your next action, only to start rambling that dialogue off now. It's mildly humorous, but imo the game is best played while listening to Spotify; the only sound cues you need are for your oxygen level, and that's already very visible on your HUD

Большое спасибо разработчикам за немало приятно проведённых часов, это отличная игра! Как человек, прошедший в своё время обе части Сабнаутики могу сказать, что если вы хотели найти что-то подобное в качестве добавки, то Breathedge вполне достойный выбор. В каких-то аспектах немного хуже Сабнаутики, которой явно вдохновлялись (по части разнообразия окружения в основном, но в рамках лора игры всё логично и на своих местах, космосу с обломками и астероидами всё же тяжело тягаться с живым подводным миром с разными биомами), в каких то даже лучше. Очень понравились геймплей, юмор, ощущение космоса, подача сюжета и геймдизайн.
Из ощутимых минусов могу отметить разве что малое разнообразие музыки (песня про тачанку классная, но когда слышишь её уже раз 10-20, всё же немного приедается), но на фоне общих достоинств игры это уже мелочь, в целом игра -- конфетка и своих денег стоит. Надеюсь, что во второй части разрабы сохранят и преумножат достигнутый результат и я снова с удовольствием вернусь во вселенную Брисэдж в роли Мужика и его курочки)

Breathedge je survival hra z prostředí vesmíru, která mě dokázala poměrně rychle vtáhnout. Hra je zábavná hlavně díky svému humoru, různým hláškám a celkovému stylu vyprávění. Obsahuje spoustu zábavných prvků, které odlehčují jinak docela klasický survival gameplay založený na sbírání surovin, craftění a prozkoumávání okolí. Velkým plusem je také nádherný vizuál vesmíru – pohled na trosky lodí, planety v dálce a otevřený vesmír působí opravdu atmosféricky a často jsem se jen zastavil a chvíli se rozhlížel kolem.

Na druhou stranu má hra i své slabiny. Postupem času mi začalo vadit dlouhé protahování v dalších kapitolách. Často bylo nutné projít celou oblast až na její konec, kde jsem zjistil, že mi chybí nějaký předmět nebo vybavení. To znamenalo vrátit se zpátky do své lodě, tam danou věc vycraftit a potom znovu projít celou oblast až na konec. Bohužel se mi tohle opakovalo skoro pořád, což začalo být dost únavné a zbytečně to brzdilo tempo hry.

Celkově je Breathedge pořád zábavná hra s originálním stylem a skvělou atmosférou vesmíru, ale některé herní mechaniky by si zasloužily lépe vyvážit, aby hráče zbytečně nenutily k neustálému vracení se tam a zpět. Pokud ale máte rádi survival hry ve vesmíru a nevadí vám více grindování, určitě stojí za vyzkoušení.

I read the reviews prior to purchase and thought maybe people were being picky, but no. I regret purchasing this.

This is a game made by artists, not game designers. The art and music are fantastic! The actual gameplay is terrible. I'm constantly frustrated by lacking mats and having to google trying to figure out where to get certain mats and finding out I've completely missed certain mandatory items/areas that are completely unmarked? Re-visiting the same area over and over because instructions and UI are unclear. On top of that why do you need to craft new tools every few mins? What's the point of that? Why are vital mats in random unmarked lcoations that can be impossible to see in the middle of space? Decisions like this make me think these aren't actually game designers, but artists that wanted to make a pretty world and threw in some 'game stuff'.

I spent more time googling things and wandering around aimlessly than actually enjoying myself due to the completely unsctructured progression. You sometimes see this kind of complaint on open world games, but it's truly aggregious in this game.

I enjoyed it. I ended up starting this on the Xbox games pass a long time ago. Never beat it but it stuck with me. Decided to buy it and beat it. I enjoyed the humor and gameplay. Doesn't take itself seriously. Lets you explore and build a bit. Section 1 is mostly exploring, upgrading, and some building. Oxygen is limited... Other sections is mostly driving a spaceship and docking with existing structures. Don't sweat bringing stuff with you after the first part. They'll be plenty along the way.

If you enjoy, space, humor, some rediculousness, and something different give it a whirl.

Абсурдность некоторых моментов, сюжет, юмор, а также простая добыча ресурсов и несложные крафты - это то, что особенно порадовало в этой игре. Она прямо создана для того, чтобы сесть, расслабиться и приятно провести игровое время. Не нужно гадать, что делать и куда двигаться дальше - у тебя есть конкретная цель и конкретная метка на карте. И, конечно, как же я мог забыть про огромное количество различных пасхалок? Чего только стоит отсылка на всем (почти) известную подводную игру в финале Breathedge.

Подводя итоги, думаю, игра получилась отличной. За всё время прохождения ни разу не заскучал, не встретил ни одного бага, глюка и прочего. Было приятно слушать забавные монологи скафандра, исследуя локации. Буду ждать выхода второй части.

Игру определённо стоит брать [spoiler]по скидке конечно же)))[/spoiler]

Игра напоминает Subnautica, но вместо пугающих глубин — абсурдный космос с чёрным юмором и кучей отсылок.

Плюсы:
- Юмор просто космос)
- Множество отсылок на игры и фильмы
- Отличная графика
- Игра не ограничивается одним сюжетом. Хотите идите по меткам и двигайтесь по сюжету, а если не хотите, то пожалуйста - исследуйте космос, собирайте мусор, открывайте новые вещи для крафта и стройте СВОю базу.
- Русская озвучка топ
- ИИ в скафандре (это прям отдельный пунктик))

Минусы:
Их вроде как нет. Иногда можно где то застрять, не критично, но это мелочи и вообще я сам виноват что полез туда)

Этакая вариация сабнавтики в космосе, но с приличным количеством юмора. Графика красивая, музыка ненавязчивая и атмосферная, в игре встречается множество отсылок на фильмы и игры. Как мне показалось единственный недостаток - то что она быстро проходится.

I tried so hard to like this game. Love the space aesthetic and the goofy-ass humor, but man, this game just does not respect my time.

Grindiness isn’t the issue. I love a good grind. Running dailies/weeklies is some of my favorite content in MMOs. I’m a connoisseur of monotony and tedious tasks. But this game tips monotony into frustration in a way that I don’t think I’ve seen before.

The most egregious issue is the OBNOXIOUS amount of tools you build (with only 4 hotkey slots, btw; you’re in your inventory constantly) that are made out of wet cardboard. You can achieve virtually nothing with your tool before it breaks and you’re forced to slowly float your ass back to your base location to build yet another tool, or you build a lot of them and eat up your limited inventory space.

The next most annoying part of it is hunting needles in haystacks trying to find specific materials. The game’s codex/database gives you worthless hints about where to find materials, so you’re spending the majority of your time traveling slowly around these massive areas, hopping from landmark to landmark and praying the next one will have a pillow floating around so you can get a some damn fabric. And all of this is while managing your oxygen, which runs out far too quickly for you to get ANYTHING done in an even remotely timely manner.

You can build oxygen stations for refills to alleviate the oxygen problem, but then you’re just pissing away resources on building them and recharging them, taking absurd amounts of time to dot the map with them so you can explore more comfortably.

All of these things combined just makes Breathedge a true test of your patience, holding W/forward for minutes at a time while nothing else is going on, quietly floating through space and eyeballing your oxygen meter every so often. It’s a terribly balanced gameplay loop and amounts to an extreme waste of time because not even accomplishing a task in the game feels satisfying; you’re immediately slapped with an even further waypoint you’re expected to drag yourself to, demanding yet more resources out of you to make the trip safely.

The last complaint is that the “witty companion” stereotype in this game is your spacesuit’s on-board intelligence and it DOES. NOT. SHUT. UP. As you’re exploring new areas, it incessantly chimes in for every single floating piece of debris you get near. It has some funny lines, but the unending chatter while you’re just trying to learn the game or find a frustrating resource is awful.

TL;DR, don’t get baited by this game because it’s in space. It’s a slog from minute one and upgrades only make it marginally more tolerable.

Знаю о том из какой категории игра. Но все эти отсылки, псевдоюмористичные ситуации и речи от окружающего мира, насмешки над шаблонными условиями в играх для меня всё это показалось одной сплошной кринжатиной и вызывало фэйспалмы, а не улыбку хоть какую-то. Если вы фанат интернет юмора, стендапов и прочего низкокачественного юмора, то игра для вас. Ближайший пример, собираешь мусор и просят скрафтить какую-то фигню, и чтобы вы подумали, конечно же это будет - мужское достоинство. Вот умора думали видимо разработчики. Ну и кринж думал я, когда увидел. Утомляющий крафт, утомительный поиск ресурсов всё это конечно прикольно, но не для меня. В общем подобные игры от российских разработчиков которые старательно делают отсылки к российской и советской культуре в играх - это просто "шедевр" (нет). И конечно же невооруженным взглядом сразу с начала игры становится понятно что разработчики дикие фанаты хренотени под названием - ВЫЖИВАЧИ! И с 3-й главы они уходят в дикий угар на счёт этого жанра, в общем игра максимум на 4 из 10.

Что хочу сказать по этой игре:
Всё хорошо, юмор, геймплей умиротворяющий , космос, даже сюжет веселый.
Но ♥♥♥♥ 2 АКТ полное дерьмо навязанное разработчиками, это просто духота (собери одно, собери другое)все это очень медленно в общем Я на какое то время забрасывал игру, но вот отпуск пришлось помучиться с этим актом, как только 2 АКТ кончается ,начинается нормальная игра.
И еще минус наверно только для меня ,у меня достижения не работают((а так все норм, вообщем рекомендую и желаю чтоб вы не задушились вторым актом)

Хорошая игра, огромное количество отсылок и юмора. Но иной раз прилетаешь куда то, а там чтобы попасть нужно это идешь а чтобы его скрафтить нужно нужно другое. Порой сотни раз просто так летаешь.

Совет:
Сразу старайтесь раздобыть плюс минус прокаченный баллон воздуха
совет номер два, стройте базу только там где есть доступ к ресурсам, а не на красивом поле))
