after the blast bossfight i experienced a glitch where the cutscene in which i hand over shipparts to the miners to repair there giant mining ship wouldnt play no matter what i did
as far as i know this hasnt been fixed, is known about, and the game is still being sold and even put on sale while a literal game breaking, save neding glitch is around. incredible game made literally unplayable. Shame

This game is good but its marketing is deceptive. You will spend most of your time on islands essentially playing Hotline Miami with Bastion rpg elements and unique bosses.

Ship battles are amazing but they are like 15% of the game. If you expect steam punk Starsector, this game is not it.

The Concept of this game is unique, you use a ship that can fly to save other people on different floating islands from the enemies. The game allows you to choose your ship, upgrade your ship and your own weapons. But honestly, the game can easily boring after few hours.

俯视角射击挺好玩，地面战还算有趣但飞船战确实不怎么顺手，长板不算长，短板有点短的小游戏，尤其是不明显的黄金箱子标记和后期那个难到爆炸的又臭又长的突袭。

It's an okay game that has a pretty linear main story, with not a lot of side quests or things to do outside of venturing from island to island. I like the graphics, how the controls feel, and the combat system. However, I can definitely see where people get bored or frustrated easily as it is repetitive; you fly to an island, kill all the enemies and farm materials, then fly off and kill some enemies with your ship, and repeat. There are noticeable bugs in the game, none of the materials or enemies respawn so you have no reason to go back to an island after saving it, the NPCS are unmemorable besides the handful in the main story, and the world/lore is incomplete. This is definitely a type of game where you can do one play through in a short time and never touch it again.

For me, I did enjoy my experience and wish there was more to explore! It's unfortunate the devs abandoned this game. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT pay $20 for this game, definitely buy it with a game bundle. I recommend this game if you don't mine spending a few dollars for a short and sweet adventure. Overall, I liked playing as Eva and I hope one day her story continues! *<(^w^)>*

感觉制作组有很多想做的东西但都是点到为止了，很多系统从头到尾都没啥用比如口哨{拿到口哨的时候已经不需要三级配件箱的东西了），钓鱼，那个油箱加油前期也是纯折磨人，飞船操作手感只要倒车或者空战时就会变成一坨，但整体也算及格作品，剧情也是一般般，没感觉男女主有啥感情戏大结局就强行爱而不得了。游戏内容也比较少，确实前期一过就是通马桶，除了挖宝和钢制弩麻烦点，全武器配件虫族配件只要去虫领域的岛上杀虫子就会爆（我前面不知道还在那找钓鱼点看能不能钓鱼换箱子...）其他成就基本上是流程必拿。

是罐头，但体量小。有能力锁，但可以不在乎。总之还是能在腻掉之前通关并解放全岛屿的。
本作最大的特色是流畅的跑打和近乎没有的坠落惩罚以及不必熟练也能耍的很酷炫的钩爪，外加中期提供的时停可以无脑绕背体验还是蛮不错的。
伪特色则是多配件武器，还画蛇添足的需要买箱子抽，怪不得整个二次元封面呢。其中最大的乐子是抽到最后一无所有，因为游戏中期的新敌人虫族需要新增加的虫枪对付（老枪伤害只有原来的30%），而虫枪的配件需要专门的虫箱或者刷虫岛。大后期甚至连虫枪都要下岗，一是能通过小隐藏换货任务拿到不用装填且威力巨大的弩；二是新增了突袭挑战，奖励武器白蚁更是神中神，半分钟烧死最终BOSS。这俩神兵利器连配件栏都没有拿到就是完全体，所以制作组的本意是想吐槽氪金游戏么？那很好仂。
至于其他的像是凑数的基建，为了做而做需要手动加油的开船（倒船转弯改前进居然还有个回正）都只是些无聊的架子，为了显得不那么空洞塞满了数值，也算是做不完凑合上独游的通病了，好在都是些点缀没有故意卡玩家进度恶心人。
剧情结尾的反转还行前面也有不少伏笔，但突然成为重要NPC的路人ABC和非要给小BOSS编悲惨童年/中年的毛病以及中期就查无此人的地缘政治真的毁观感，没活建议不写让玩家对着美术脑补就成。

额外的：空岛设定真就纯服务美术呗，其他人一点想法都没有么？

I don't even remember when I picked this game up but I was pleasently surprised. The game has a lot of depth and I thought I had blown through the content in the first few hours only for the game to add more story quests and mechanics. I not only looked forward to progressing the story but enjoyed the combat and looked forward to putting more time into the game.

I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun game that they either want to just grind through the story or go in depth and grind out all the achievements and make use of the "challenge" mode / rift system that is made available right before the end of the game.

Really solid steampunk top-down shooter with airship combat.

The good:
+ Compelling story
+ Cute characters
+ Fun combat
+ Weapon customization
+ Interesting world-building and lore

The less good:
- Gameplay loop gets boring before the story is finished
- Base-building mechanics are completely pointless
- Some mechanics feel under-utilized, like fishing
- The puzzles are way too easy
- Some game breaking bugs in endgame content

Verdict:
It's worth a few dollars on sale to experience a short campaign and get 100% achievements.

- Різні вороги потребують різного підхода до боротьби з ними. Якщо зазіватись навіть можуть затоптати.
- Приємна графіка.
- Наявність сюжету, а також те що вибір гравця може впливати на результат завдання.

Tutorial had me carrying a fuel canister to refuel my ship, tried walking onto my ship with it and i fell to my death. tried to get my ship into a better position and then i tried again, i fell to my death. Is it possible to get around this, yes of course, but with game design this bad i decided to use the better option by pressing ALT+F4 instead.

Классная задумка, ужасная реализация.
Плюсы:
1) Красивая картинка. Видно постарались.
2) В игре есть магазин мебели. Не знаю зачем, но он есть.
Собственно и все...

А теперь о минусах:
Игра будто недоделанная. Куча всяких идей, но все недоразвитые.
1) Воздушный бой. Из-за маленького зума все эти битвы кажутся битвой с палками вместо пушек.
2) Кастомизация и апгрейды корабля. Боже да тут просто трать валюту получай статы и всё. А пушки +- все одинаковые нет никакой разницы с чего стрелять. Челлендж в игре отсутствует. Подбирать специально корабль или оружия под врага нет никакого смысла.
3) Шутер с видом сверху. Динамика отсутствует. Пули летят медленно. А еще есть лишь 2 поведения врагов: 1)Враги стреляют либо ровно в тебя медленными пулями либо 2) снайпер пытается запредиктить твою траекторию. Да и враги будто не пытаются тебя убить даже на сложности "Hard"
4) Кастомизация пушек и эквипа. Да нет тут никакой кастомизации забудьте.
5) НЕТ ОЩУЩЕНИЯ ЭКСПЛОРА. Вот играете в игру про летающие острова и корабли в духе пиратов. А ощущения открытий новых земель или новых опасностей или приключений нет. Потому что пустая игра вот и все. А еще карта полностью открыта с самого начала игры.
6) Пазлы и мини-игры унылые и однотипные. Секретки абсолютно очевидные (на карте подсвечиваются). А клады расположены буквально у дороги и не заметить ее невозможно.
7) Сюжет линейный, а второстепенных квестов очень мало. Если зачистил остров то уже и смысла возвращаться нет. Вот зачем делать красивую игру с кучей домиков людей всяких, если посетишь ты этот остров 1 раз.
7) Багованная. А если конкретно то этот Софтлок на битве с роем с буквально бессмертными жучарами или когда ты убиваешь слишком быстро босса (мелкие турели которые) то просто софтлочит и не дает пройти миссию. Меня уже в 4 раз заставляет перепроходить... Собственно это и заставило написать отзыв.

Очень жалко видеть очередную игру с не раскрытым потенциалом...

The game and story move at a nice pace and it's pretty linear with a late game option for a kind of 'missions outside the area' were you can get beefed up weapons if your wanting to play some more. It does feel a little like it picks up a faster pace in the last bit of the game and doesn't really offer anything new, more or less just letting you play out the game with your top tier gear.

It's a great game and I hope the dev is thinking about a second game taking the story further.

I had a genually good time with this game. the twin stick shooting was good, with some very minor bugs.
It seems that they removed an element of farming, which they still talk about so that is a bit awkward.
The puzzles are simple in design but can require some thought to solve.
All in All, i had a great time playing this semi-open world, twin stick spacecraft shooter.
in almost 20 hours i completed the main story, which i could've probably done a lot faster, but, i was engaged for the whole time.

ça part en favoris ! Petite pépite obtenue en réduction, le jeu respire l'aventure avec un bon décor, un bon gameplay, une bonne bande sonore et un bon pixel art.

Les + :
- un gameplay varié avec différentes façon de jouer via la tech, les armes et les amulettes.
- un bon rapport durée de vie / prix
- un style d'environnement unique. le mélange architecture moyen age fantastique et technologie récente passe très bien et peu vue dans le monde du JV

Les - :

- c'est dommage certaines îles ne sont pas correctement exploité : pas de quêtes à effectuer dessus , pas d'intéret a y retourner.
- difficulté de comprendre les factions / projection dans l'univers du jeu (au début) car les "Nordvol" n'aparaissent à aucun moment du jeu et les "Uznyen" se font désirer.
- Sans doute le plus gros défaut : Faire mourir des personnages est un art et le jeu nous fait découvrir des personnages pour les tuer peu de temp après..... tuer les persos excessivement est frustrant ... surtout que certains sont stylé et pourrait être mieux exploité.
- même si j'aime pas faire des tonnes de quêtes secondaires je pense qu'augmenter la durée de vie du jeu avec quelques quêtes en plus n'aurais pas été déconnant (cela rejoint le point sur les îles non exploiter).

dans touts les cas je vous recommande le jeu !

飞船操控手感不好的话，记得在开始界面-选项-游戏-关掉“飞船倒退逆转”【btw到结局我还是在撞墙】

本作主角算大女主设定来着的吧，女主是真皇太女啊我草，威风凛凛天元帅，拳打雇佣兵脚踢虫族，无论什么都无法动摇我的意志，最后结局女主belike恋爱只会影响我的皇位和枪速。

游戏总体流程就是清据点-搜刮资源-升级武器/飞船/基地这个流程。战斗还挺爽的来着，解谜挺简单的，剧情和人物塑造无功无过，游戏最喜欢的就是飞蛾来了，飞蛾可爱。

都说是罐头，其实我感觉这个罐头还好，少吃一点难受多吃一点没意思，不多不少正好。
新手引导还行吧，就是开局操作啥的容易劝退，耐心一点就上手了
像素风格挺好看的【赞叹天空中】，天空真的好有意思啊，完全对上电波了！

This is one of the best games I've ever played! The gameplay and story that's sometimes calm and light-hearted sometimes thrilling and dark, the interesting one-off puzzles that make you think, the beautiful and dynamic scenery that's matched with the amazing music, and the sheer AURA this of this thing is chef's kiss. Binged it over a couple weeks though, and wish it had more after the end, though that's barely an issue. 10/10 will play again.

Jeux complet, avec un peu de tir vu du dessus, du modding d'arme, des batailles naval/aériennes, une da so retro et cool pas agressive pour les yeux. le niveau s'adapte bien plusieurs facon de jouer, du farming léger .
je recommande vivement deplus il tourne magnifiquement bien sur ma gtx 660 alors que nous sommes en 2026 et la je dit merci aux dev
seul soucis a jour pour moi le clavier qwerty uniquement car le paramétrage ne fonctionne pas corectement pour le passer en azerty fr, je recommande dans l'immédiat de passer vos claver en francais cms (canadien multilingue standart) hate que ce soit corriger :) amusez vous bien et chiller bien sur ce jeux complet

-Vraiment sympa pour un jeu trouvable à 2€
-jeu de tir / action / aventure en vue du dessus avec une vraie histoire, un gameplay plutôt sympa qui jongle entre phases à pied et phases avec son vaisseau (oui il y a du combat avec).
-Pas mal d'éléments à améliorer : armes, vaisseaux, compétences en fonction de votre style de jeu.
-Une bonne trouvaille.
-Graphismes moches par contre.

잔잔하게 할만하네요.
근데 배경음악 너무 지루해서
졸릴때가 많습니다.
섬 해방 시키는건 모두 할 필요도 없고
보상이 딱히 큰것도 아니고
그냥 대충 적당히 플레이 하는걸 추천...

아기자기한 그래픽에 비해
캐릭터나 스토리는 꽤 진지한 분위기로 갑니다.
다만 참신한 건 아니고 적당합니다.

음악과 연출이 조금 아쉽지만
오랜만에 끝까지 플레이 한 게임이네요.

Love the feeling of sailing between sky islands.
Ship combat felt just right. Not too slow, not too fast.
Ground combat was like hotline Miami but less jittery, like I could actually hit my targets.
I will be docking points off due to infrequent crashes. Just today it froze once when I was fast traveling back to the Fathership and another in the middle of a gun fight.

This is actually an exceedingly generic open world rpg that only superficially mimics the structure of space sandbox (with a sky/airship coat of paint, instead of space, obviously)
But what really turned me down is how braindead it is, if you asked any AAA slop dev to make a ship/vehicle based """sandbox""" this is what you would get, you don't manage crew, fuel, ammo or anything meaningful. You can fast travel despite not having the fuel to do the trip normally, so fuel is 100% pointless, i haven't bought ammo at any point after 8 hours of play, meaning it just drops randomly so i don't have to think about when i use it, i just use it on cooldown. You are the only person on your ship in this fantasy/low tech setting, meaning your weapons and ship maintain, operate and reload themselves magically. The dialogue is just subpar at times. Worst of all is how death has literally zero consequence, it's like the game is ashamed of even posing a challenge to the player, it's just another of those games for NPCs who are satisfied with the illusion of playing a game, when in reality the game is almost a movie that plays itself.

Me encanta el concepto de ir en tu nave liberando islas del mapa mientras gestionas los recursos y te aseguras de que la nave no falle. De una manera extraña, logra quitarme la espinita del combate naval de AC: Black Flag (muy rebuscado, pero me sirve).

Siento que las batallas navales son bastante divertidas, visualmente muy llamativas y tensionantes. En cambio, no soy tan fan del combate “a pie”, se siente algo tosco y más convencional, lo que hace que después de cierto punto la progresión se vuelva un poco repetitiva, pues una buena parte del juego no te la pasas en tu nave sino disparando.

También amo el apartado artístico del juego, tanto el pixel art como los sprites de los personajes durante los diálogos. Precisamente por eso me choca un poco que el cover art sea una ilustración estilo anime. No está mal, pero siento que no representa para nada el arte tan bonito que te encuentras al jugar.

A solid twin stick shooter with a lot of cool ideas. Worth the price tag if you are looking for a quick jaunt at a steampunk pixelated world. Highly recommend. It is not without its fault though: namely its very linear character progression and untapped potential. But despite that I think the game has really good bones. Something a good thought out sequel can really build upon, expand and I truly believe make a mark in gaming. Hopefully I have convinced some of you to pick this game up. It is very fun.

Just completed this visually amazing pearl, left with with a good vibe overall, it's a challenging game and has a cool story. Let me be more specific without spoiler: it blends some plot twist and an astonishing ending we have already seen in a famous Blizzard game, but that's a very cool story so it's not a problem to rewatch it. The gameplay is cool, puzzles are ok and the free roaming experience is the best part. Not much customization but i found this a good game to relax after more complex gaming sessions. Improve: music in game. Amazing pixel art by the way, in conclusion you can find it often on sale at a very very low price. Recommended!

Sans doute pas un mauvais jeu mais malheureusement je n'arrive pas à m'amuser dessus. Je me suis dis "tu l'as fait a une mauvaise période, pas dans le mood redonne lui une chance! " 1h plus tard je m'emmerdais à nouveau. Les combats ne me font pas vibrer, le craft et l'exploration...bof. Bon allez je désinstalle pourtant le jeu avait l'ai bien!

В это вполне можно позалипать, но по трейлерам и скриншотам, вкупе с ценником, ожидаешь более масштабной и отполированной игры.
Большую часть времени, нам нужно будет зачищать однообразные острова. Но "бегать и стрелять" тут не особо интересно.
Это похоже скорее на "прототип" игры, чем на полноценный продукт.
По фуллпрайсу точно не стоит брать

Black Skylands is a fun and addictive game. The gameplay is simple, smooth, and easy to get into, and you quickly lose track of time while playing. The mix of exploration, combat, and progression works really well, especially the ship battles, which are clearly one of the game’s strongest points. They’re dynamic, enjoyable, and never really get boring.

That said, the game isn’t perfect. The music is pretty basic and quickly becomes forgettable, and the story is also very simple, doing just enough to justify the gameplay without leaving a strong impression. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not what keeps you playing.

The biggest drawback is the repetitive challenges given by the insect on the father’s ship. Unlocking all weapons requires doing roughly ~15 of them, and they feel tedious and pointless rather than engaging.

Despite these flaws, Black Skylands remains a very enjoyable and accessible game, and it’s incredibly easy to sink hours into without realizing it. If you’re looking for a fun, straightforward game with satisfying airship combat, it’s absolutely worth playing.

2.6 hours in and my game is soft locked.
liberated an island only to get stuck in a fence that spawned next to a flag. i didn't even mean to grab it but send it back to my ship but one misclick and i was trapped forever. reset didn't matter, can't put it down, can't send it to the ship, can't send myself to the ship, just trapped with some pigs.

I couldn't find any work arounds or solutions but apparently the devs promised multiple saves back in 2021 (sure, there are 5 slots but clicking save just overwrites the one your already using)

So this is an old, well known bug that feels like it could be easily fixed but they just never did and i would refund if i wasn't already past the 2 hr time, 30 minutes of which was trying to fix this bug.
