Well once you've made a setup for addition, multiplication and subtraction that manage a full belt, which you can do as soon as you get the operator, then it's just finding the factorization of the number, copy/paste your setups, multiply that by how many output belts you want, plug the belts and wait.
Unlocking exponent was underwhelming, as I can already do everything with multiplication only, and division is kinda pointless since the numbers are always getting bigger, so using it would only make the factory more complicated for no reasons.
So basically an idle game with maybe 30min of actual factory design, which is a bit rough for the price
great.
this is a very fun game that blends factory esque games and math, and for new & old players, there are no tens to make it a bit more challenging.
I love making number factorys with FREE EVERYTHING and making fast parts of factorys I made a highway for numbers 1-20 to go and 1-3 has another way of production with a different road
I LOVE THIS GAME
Factorio, but for dummies - I'm literally the target audience for this game...! :3
Even for playing 50 minutes, I love the complicity and thats what ive been looking for. 10/10
This game is incredibly fun, addictive, and deeply satisfying to play. It really nails that “just one more thing” feeling.
I’ve also been playing it on the Steam Deck, and it works well. The controls need a bit of tweaking at first, but the game makes it easy to customize button mappings directly in the settings, which is a big plus.
Overall, a great experience whether you're on PC or Steam Deck. Definitely worth checking out.
I played this more than Shapez 2. So there's that. Its for smart people.
realy good
It's Really Fun!!!!!!
i like dis game
not as good as britan tho
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
it is so fun you must get it
It's obviously very simlar to shapex.io, which is a great game, but there are important differences.
Beltmatic does not have tunnels, but it has bridges, which make connecting mines to machiens SOOOO much easier. As long as you don't drag your path along an extractor or along some other path - it will create a bridge automatically. I know there is a mod for shapex to auto-make tunnels, but I found it a bit buggy.
I miss few QoL features form Beltmatic - for example - when you create L shaped the game decides if first part is vertical / horizontal based on the begining of the move. After I learned that it became okey-ish, but I still would like to be able to just pres R to rotate the it like in shapez.
Things that beltmatic does way better:
In Beltmatic you can copy and paste from the very start which is AMAZING. You have undo/redo. You can loop through clipboard - many machines can be remembered in clipboard. You can drag while pasting - which creates miltiple copies of pasted fragment - very helpful. You can build when zoomed way out. And it seems to run much better, much faster when zoomed out far away.
I did not like the game design so much. There are many instances where you will create a factory creating one numnber just to remove it right after you fed the hub enough of that number. I would like it at least at the start of the game the numbers hub requires were also numbers needed for upgrades. This way I could focus on leveling up, and upgrades would be earned while I play. In here it feels rather random.
The biggest part that I miss are filters and logic layer. You are able to write a MAM, but you have to input the required number manually by connecting belts. Maybe there is a way to automate this, but I don't think so since the HUB does not give you any signal.
One sentence about graphics - I did not like the color pallete at the start, but I got used to it after few hours.
I hope for a sequel or update that would add filters and a way to automatically read the number requested by the hub.
fun for math fun for teacher to use as a way to teach
good game
Fun for the first 30 minutes, but then it's just boring and repetitive. Just go play shapez.
satisfying. JUST SATISFYING
but... math
That's Numberwang!
absolute optimizatiom (*^-^*)
tak.
精美
maravilhoso
It's Shapez but with numbers. Copy and Paste is there from the start which is nice.
My math teachers favourite game! Head out onto the blueprint and start doing math factory edition
Entertaining until a certain point. At some point it goes from "unlocking new ways to math" to just... "do this, do that." It feels very, *very* grindy, and I still haven't unlocked subtraction. That might not seem like much, at least, until you realize that some of the numbers the game requests are *one* below the previous number... and you have to remake your entire production line to do it. It's tedious.
Then come the upgrades. For practically half of my playtime, I didn't realize you *could* upgrade them because the upgrade box seemed so... unimportant. I think I skipped whatever tutorial there was, but it took me another few minutes to figure out *how* to upgrade things.
The game does what it set out to do, but it gets so tedious and repetitive that you just leave it in the background. It's more of an idle game, really. Not my flavor. Game has good mechanics and good bones - I haven't found any bugs - but it could use some seasoning.
My rating: Cooked nicely, needs some seasoning. (5/10.)
AyyyyMazing
Matematyka
beautiful. most see it as a normal number-producing factory, while I see it as a tutorial for counting perfectly, using addition, subtraction, etc. to make a clone of a certain number multiple times.
I find this to be a lot of fun. Once you get the hang of the number highways needed to get stuff back toyour hug for counting, and the cut and paste, you will find making number factories a breeze. I have already dropped 40 hours into this game and it is till entertaining. Learning how to make layouts more efficient is fun.
My only complaint would be seemingly a lack of in game calculator. Sure a lot of the math I Can do in my head, but when it comes to using exponents to make the bigger numbers easier to hit, I find myself having to leave the game to use a calculator, which often finds me forgetting what I was doing when I get back in the game. And in game calculator would make this process a lot more handy.
All in all, I'd say this is a great game for adults, and an exceptional game for kids.
2 thumbs up
Giuseppe Peano says: "This game can be won with nothing but adders and 1 generators."
a
now i can learn math :D
fun

Joc interessant per distreure's una estona.
Man I would like to like this game as I am a big fan of factory games and I like the ones with endless resources. But in the end this game lacks any depth and challenge. If you are interested I would suggest Shapez instead if you haven't played it.
In this game you create numbers using basic operations (+, -, *, /, ^) from a basic set of low number (mostly 1-12). The numbers get bigger with time, which is supposed to increase the challenge but for me it just gets more frustrating. Whats the best way to create 65? pretty easy. Whats the best way to create 6842? The game boils down to finding a formular that gets you to the target...
But then we might remember that we construct any number using multiplication by 10 and adding the digits in order. This way, we don't have to care about finding a formular and we can easily construct any number just by feeding in the digits that we need. The game then boils down to copying the same thing, wiring, and waiting.
The game needs more complex mechanics to create a challenge (e.g. constants, complex numbers, etc.) and machines for those operations that actually require you to solve a factory problem and not a math problem.
In a game where placing belts is like 90% of the game, belt gameplay is bad. No corner belts to make connecting two points easy. No inverting the belt direction. Belts remain in shapes with neighbor connections even if there is no neighbor. Belts can, for some reason, be half sized as well. So even if the connection is right it won't connect to the belt in front of it without explicit dragging. This is also noticable when copying as you might copy such a half belt and the parts won't connect correctly :/
Fun for a few hours won't recommend at full price as is.
Absolute peak
SOO GOOD
Play this game
#include <belt.h>
belt.get(a,b);
belt.add(a,b);
belt.print(c);
adictivo, ta bueno
droga
this game is realy fun for people who like to optimize production
Unexpectedly addictive.

its simple but also challenges you. systems look like microchips

Yes this is very similar to Shapez. I've played Shapez and loved it. To enjoy this mathematical game I had to add some rules.
Beltmatic looks like a factory game, but once I realized I can brute-force any target with a powers-of-10 main bus, it gets repetitive. I wasn’t doing math; I was just assembling digits. To emphasize the mathematical side, I switched to playing Beltmatic Golf—a self-imposed scoring system where the lowest score wins.
The Rules:
Only use numbers from the currently unlocked set; no storing derived numbers or reusing results from a previous puzzle.
Lowest score wins. Score = (number of operations) + (number of distinct digits used).
The Difference (Example Target 3838):
Brute Force Path: 1000x3 + 100x8 + 10x3 + 8. Score: 12
The Golf Path: (15 x 2^8) - 2. Score: 6
The Good Attempt Path: 2^12 - 2^8 - 2. Score: 7
Playing this way turns Beltmatic from a repetitive assembly line into a genuine mathematical puzzle. If you find the game getting solved too easily, try playing for the lowest score.
English: I think it's a great game because you can learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and square easily and funly. And I recommend Beltmatic because I think I am improving my mental arithmetic because I'm trying to get the numbers when I need to unlock the numbers used to shortening time, or other numbers, addition, multiplaction etc. (The meaning of Korean and English text can be slightly different because I used a translator.)
Fun math.
Nice game
good game!
I would because it's all about Math and that's my favorite subject
Simple relaxing game though kinda short and not as deep as shapez.io
it cool
Matematica
I don't know whether i like this game or not, but I keep coming back to it
viciante
i fun
it is awsome
Nice fun math game to relax to.
Fun if you have already seen it. Hard to understand when starting if you have no prior knowledge.
top do top
okey
Shapez.io clone, with numbers. Not nearly as refined or fun.
Great game..
good for lerning math
ITS FUN
i like gameplay
es jogo e mt relaxante e bom pa tira o tedio
super super good game I highly recommend it
numbers
if you make your factory too efficient you cant level up
Nice game

A friend asked me why the game I was playing looked like homework.
it is super fun and also it helps make up math skills
i absolutely love it
realy fun
how on earth did i spend 9 hours in this game...
worth it tho
Really Amazing game, bought it in 2024, i forgot then, just opened and started playing again, its very very good, i wish it had more updates tho
fun game

Jogo divertidíssimo de fabricazinha. Vale a pena demais.
Too basic to justify the high price.
esse jogo é legal
Lots of math, sort of. Really just arithmetic. It feels like I'm doing circuit design.
I can't stop playing. I just can't.
This game is basically a clone of Shapez, but with numbers instead of shapes.
The progression works the same way by delivering a given amount of numbers to a main hub to beat a level or upgrade your tools.
You'll unlock new tools every few levels, but you will only work with integers all the time.
The scaling is quite good up until the end-game.
After upgrading each tool to level 8 you have basically completed upgrading everything. The following levels are just minuscule improvements. (Kind of like an infinite upgrades in other games.)
The requirements for the levels itself don't really scale the same way, which makes it kind of slow in the end-game.
It's still good fun - even if you've played Shapez already.
PS:
Not being able to mirror things is a bummer, but you'll adapt and plan around it.
One thing I really enjoy are the bridges to cross belts. In other games crossing belts is often done by using tunnels that have an entry and exit taking a full tile each. Which often requires you to space out your belts or tunnel under your tunnel entry/exit. In Beltmatic you just drag a belt across another and it builds a bridge, which is just one tile large: No entry or exit - just crossing two belts. That's great :)
Also the game runs very smoothly - even in the endgame with huge builds. If felt very responsive all the way through.
EDIT:
Went back and played Shapez again, since it's been a while.
And to be honest: Beltmatic feels nicer to play for me... I didn't think this at first, but the inputs are just better thought out and Shapez is missing a few things I really didn't remember missing (undo/redo, panning while building, further zoom, auto-tunnels and general performance).
No tuve que descargarme esta wea...
20K 2147483647's per second for the fun of it
