History The development started in 2016 when we found out there is no great rhythm based game on VR. The game was showcased on many places and almost 700 people tried it so far. The response is overwhelming positive. Features Unique gameplay with a great feel - Beat Saber combines the satisfying feeling of cutting with emergent perception of rhythm. Handcrafted levels & music - All the basic levels and music in the game will be handcrafted to emphasise the music rhythm. The results are incomparable to similar games with generated content. Game longevity - The game can be played in short (few minutes) sessions in quick play mode or for many hours in career mode. Game accessibility - Anyone can understand basic game principles and play the game in just a few seconds.

I've played this on multiple systems, starting with an RTX 2060 and now on an RTX 4070S, also using Quest 2 and 3 and the experience has been consistently great across all setups.

This game is incredibly addictive—in the best possible way. You’ll completely lose track of time playing your favorite songs, and the only things that will snap you back to reality are how sweaty you are and your battery running out.

While playing with a cable offers the most stable experience, going wireless is where the real fun begins. The freedom of movement makes a huge difference. This game, along with Half-Life: Alyx, even pushed me to upgrade my router and internet setup just to get the smoothest possible experience—and it was absolutely worth it. I personally use Virtual Desktop (great for customization) and Steam Link (more straightforward and sometimes more stable), and both perform really well.

On top of that, the modding scene and community are amazing. Custom songs are a must-have and massively expand the replayability. If you enjoy the core gameplay, mods will take it to another level.

Highly recommended if you own a VR headset.

The feet are above my head, and it wont let me press continue or open game settings, i have been trying for ages to fix this and re set it, ive googled answered and i havent been able to fix this. I am a pc player and need to reach out to the game makers, as i love this game and spend money on it for the extra songs.

A bigger workout than it seems, and my go-to VR experience to show to VR-beginners. Beat Saber has a concept that is super easy to understand, but is incredibly difficult to master. The modding scene is alive and thriving, and brings unlimited playtime to an otherwise already packed catalogue of songs.

Perfektní hra pro VR hráče, která rozhodně nesmí chybět v knihovně.
Beat Saber je jednoduchý na pochopení, ale zároveň extrémně zábavný – stačí sekat kostky do rytmu hudby a člověk se u toho dokáže zabavit na hodiny.

Když to hraješ, ani si neuvědomíš a máš za sebou solidní workout 😄. Ovládání je přirozené a rychle si na něj zvykne i úplný začátečník.

Skvělá, návyková VR hra, která je ideální jak pro začátečníky, tak pokročilé hráče. Pokud máš VR, tohle je téměř povinnost.

Played for 4.2 hours, beat all the campaign,

Came from Synth Rider, was waiting for a discount the entire time, Recently realized [b]there is no discount for this game, ever[/b]

[h3]Good thing[/h3]
1. The game is quite old, I assume the modding community has grown big. (I have no idea how to mod. But I saw videos of people playing songs that I could never find, as a protogen or something else...)
2. Good for arm muscle. My both arm sored for 3 days straight after my first play session.
[h3]Bad things[/h3]
1. I noticed this in my tutorial level: It's really easy to misclick the pause button on a Quest 3 using VD. Synth Rider made it [b][i]hold for t seconds[/i][/b], which I thought was a standard. Nope, couldn't even find a related option in game. I rage quitted 30 minutes in and had to search for solution - Change the controller bindings...
2. Probably skill issue, but sometimes the cutting trigger zone is really inconsistent. I be twisting my entire body yet still miss one of those 2x side vertical. And my light saber flying up and down (probably tracking issue).
3. The campaigns, I really dont get the point of the majority of the tasks. Wdym "Intentionally makes bad cut or miss in a rhythm game" and "Restrict arm movement under xxx meters in a VR exercise game"? "Do not combo too much"...Really?

Anyways, Im still just 4hrs in, tried to play solo, got completely destroyed in the hardest mode.
I'll leave this as a recommendation for now. Might change later.

игра где слушаешь песни и рубишь кубики. крутая, мне понравилась графика (че?) классная. я зациклился на 1 песне и прошел её аж на expert+ модификатор speed song (+8% к скорости песни). вообщем, классная игра, всем советую! Однозначно одна из лучших игр для VR. Достаточно бесплатных уровней, их ещё завозят пачками время от времени. Так же есть платные песенки по 100 рублей за штуку (дорого но парочку любимых взять можно думаю). Есть поддержка модов через сторонние лаунчеры, где можно нагрузить песен и рубиться под ПСАЯ какого-нибудь. Если научиться то можно и свои карты делать. Есть онлайн режим где можно смеятсья над тем, как твой кент даже на харде не может пройти уровень. В общем рекомендую.
