Avoid Everything From This Dev out of 10

The game couldnt detect my controller without my first configuring it with the keyboard. configuring with the keyboard took forever because the default bindings for 'enter' and 'back' are X and Z, as opposed to ENTER and ESC. When i finally got the game controlling as it should, i went to screen settings to turn off 'windowed' for 'fullscreen,' only to find the game becomes too much for my 4090 to handle in fullscreen. i thought about exiting to enter a command line to disable v-sync on launch --as there is no way to disable it in screen options-- but first decided to try playing the game first, hoping it'd be worth the effort.

Sadly, the tutorial bugged out halfway through, causing all my ammo to exhaust the entire magazine in one shot.

For every gun.

Then, i thought maybe the tutorial was thrown together last-minute, and the campaign itself, a sega classic, would be more polished.

Nope.

I cant have my 17 minutes back, but i did get my dollar refunded!

The OG Target Earth was my favorite game as a kid. I really appreciate the fact that the devs appreciated it too, and did a remake. Nice new graphics, new music, and cool unlockables. It might not be for folks who weren't fans of the original, who are looking for modern sensibilities in a mech game. It's weird to have to ALT-F4 out of a game... just saying.
