really wanted to like this game for how relaxing & cozy it looks despite all the poor reviews, but its just so awful in so many ways. not worth purchasing on sale for any price point. i will miss my doggos, though.

Not worth it even tho it is on sale. It is rough around all the edges. Oh, you forgot to save? That's ok, just jump in a pond and get stuck without any means of saving the game, BECAUSE YOU MUST BE ON FOOT TO DO SO and lose a week of progress. You can't fish more than 4 fish per pond, which i guess was made in mind to explore to other ponds, but i wonder HOW THE ♥♥♥♥ DO THEY EXPECT YOU TO DO THAT WHEN I'M STARVING ALONG WITH MY DOGS? But, a pretty chill game nonetheless!
Je lance le jeu pour la première fois,, je péche trois poissons héroïquement (sans savoir quoi faire pour), et perce le sol pour récupérer les 3 minerais proche de la base.. Je fait un tour en canoé puis en traineau, je cuit mes 3 poissons à la base, et je suis incapable de les manger... J'ai pas trouver où ils se trouvais, cuit ou non cuit... Mort. Fin de la partie, dépité et pas envi de relancer le jeu. = La prise en main des bases du jeu me semble carrément absente en plus de l'absence de langage FR qui m'aide surement pas.

This is a chill game with an exploration-based story-telling element. Two modes, one (Survival) is slightly more difficult, but nowhere near the level of struggle of other survival games (thus still making it a calm experience).
The pluses:
I enjoy a relaxing survival game where I'm not pressed for time (outside minor elements), and can explore and build at my own pace. Having a dog sled for navigation was cute, and I definitely named the pups lovingly. Art style is pleasant, and the locations varied. Base defense isn't an issue, and neither is fighting. The most dangerous elements are easily handled once you learn to manage your resources. (I also found it rather adorable that when selling goods, space pods were launched to carry them away! And no snarky commentary from some corporate overlord that I now have 3mil more credits to recover before I can go home.)
The negatives:
It's not a long game to actually complete (8-9 hours, roughly), but it has limited replay value. There's no achievements for 100% of all collectibles, and base management is not a critical element. You don't even need your doggos to explore, and in some cases, having them is a detriment, as you have to take "the long way around" to locate points of interest (rather than just hopping in the kayak). The map is limited (in order to "complete" the game, you will have explored nearly every point of interest in that 8 hours), and some of the points of interest feel like there should be a bigger story, but instead I was left with emptiness looking at them. (And emptiness/cthulhu-type nihilism is not the goal of the story.)
Conclusion:
If you like a game with limited stressors (even on survival), with a clean, simple building style and a more exploration-oriented gameplay, this is definitely for you.

Calm, cozy vibes with a cool map to explore. I played it with three friends and we were able to burn through all the content in a couple hours. But I also bought the game on a huge discount, so for the price I paid it was totally worth it.
Surprisingly cool little game with a kind of ethereal frozen vibe that not many games can recreate. Dev continues updating it and really shows the care put into it.

Задумка неплохая, сюжет... возможно есть.
Контента мало, графика +-, интерфейс не очень.
Хорошо бы зашла, чтобы играть в дороге, но Стимдека у меня нет так что анлак.
Пока что не рекомендую к покупке.
