Ampersat is a shooty, slashy, RPG-y game mixing old-school/retro and modern sensibilities. A blend of influences from Gauntlet and Smash TV to Zelda and a dash of Angband, this is a handcrafted adventure with much appeal to fans of Roguelites. A labor of love from a solo developer, Ampersat distills some favorite childhood gaming experiences into a fresh, fun hybrid that sees you killing a lot of monsters, finding a lot of loot, freeing captured letters (um, what?) and growing from a world-weary warrior mage into a powerful smashing/blasting machine!

Clear gameplay, lots of challenges and weapons. For farming lovers, I recommend opening a well at the start.

5個小時打通關(簡單難度)
獎勵寶相要用進戰打怪才會有獎勵字母(我傻傻的用遠程打超久)
技能思路前期遠程，中期回血，後期近戰
前期遠程打怪保險又能活得久
中期點了回血就可以打獎勵寶相了，加上經驗加成(這遊戲等級真難練，我打通關了等級還沒滿.....，所以我只解了100層水井，但是等級成就沒取得)
後期近戰一刀一個小朋友，包括王也是(王要走位近戰打就好)
把商店升滿會給傳奇裝備，水井100層會給最好的寶石(傳奇裝備裝了寶石以後就不能拆了，一定要留一個位子給傳奇裝備)

I haven't played much of this game, but it's something I'll keep in my library to go back to once I run out of other games to play. It was at the beginning of the 2nd level, when I was being chased by a boulder, having to shoot targets while running away that made me realize how well intentioned this game is.
The design rules.

The music is... Horrible.
But maybe this is the point. Makes everything feel wrong, but I suppose being attacked by angry letters is wrong... So who am I to judge somehting so wonderfully abstract?

If this is on sale, there's little excuse not to pick it up.

graphics, style, and gameplay are nice. I'm not a huge fan of the tutorial just being a bunch of pages to read, but I'm just spoiled by playable tutorials I suppose.

The equipment, shopping, and upgrading systems are all smooth and well incorporated, and the process of unlocking letters to find out what villagers are saying is hilarious and fun

however, I'm dropping this because the fire tower makes my eyes hurt. its SO red. the well was already pushing the viewability with so many enemies blending into the background but I'm not going to continue playing a game that makes my eyes hurt even if the gameplay loop and sounds are superb.
