Ideal for short, relaxing gaming sessions, where someone wants to cool off from a long week of work and enjoy a short and fairly charming visual novel and a timeless tale of love, mystery, and humanity that may leave them pondering on deep-thinking concepts.

The main objective is to attempt to build an endearing or an alienating relationship and bond with Kira, a mysterious yet eerily charming and flawless young woman, while creating new and beautiful memories, such as trying new milkshakes, visiting an ancient courtyard, playing in the ocean waters, swimming, and intellectually discussing human psychology. The protagonist’s gender is relatively inconsequential.

The breathtaking art is rich, vibrant, and marvelous, creating a serene coastal atmosphere that is easy to admire. However, while the artwork is rich, vibrant, and consistently striking, the storytelling itself struggles with pacing and cohesion. Scenes transition abruptly, often jumping between locations and tones without clear narrative buildup. The plot twists and revelations feel potentially nonsensical, outlandish, and excessively fantastical. Despite these shortcomings, [i]Always The Same Blue Sky..[/i] (2015) is a visually beautiful visual novel best approached with modest expectations and enjoyed as a brief, reflective escape rather than a fully realized story.

[i]Always The Same Blue Sky...[/i] is a short visual about two very different people, trying to make sense of a senseless world.

The story has a few choices, which can either lead you to the bad or "good" ending.

The CGs are decent quality, I'm definitely a fan of Kira's design, and the world that has been created, with the milkshake bar with the ocean view, and a couple other special locations.

The music definitely helps with the atmosphere, giving it a much needed, tropical, island feel, far from home.

Overall, for the cheap price, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't expect a world shattering experience, though it's definitely a good read.
