le concept du jeu a l'air génial, cependant il serait peut être bien de préciser dans la note d’accès anticipée que le jeu ne fonctionne que sur les gpu nvidia, en espérant qu'il soit compatible un jour sur amd.

Yea I tried for about 2 hours. I typically like these "games" but this was a giant pain in the neck.
At the end of the day, I don't know enough to do this manually, I get this is basically an app or front for playing with an AI storyteller, but I just can't get things to work.
This was the base install without anything messed with all default.
So coming back after the Dev informs that the issue listed is fixed. I still have issues but the whole idea of what this is, is good. I couldn't get it to work for me but if you can for you its worth the time and effort.
The game dosent even function, after contacting the dev to solve the problem they've decided to ignore me for the past 2 weeks.
If you're going to publish a game, please do the following: make it playable.

The most rude developer I ever encountered. I wrote 2 posts about that the game is not warning and that I needed help. Instead he get angry and writes that I shouldnt spam the same post twice. Fair point, but the way he express it and instead of helping out or trying to solve the problem so I can enjoy the game He then reports me to steam when write a new post that I still need help and.

I would not recommend any to buy this game solely on the behavior of the devs. So if the game does not start directly for you I recommend strongly to refund it since there is not really any help to get from the developer.

I have not been aggressive towards other users in the the forums, that is a very false statement and when I asked about answer in the forum you just wrote an odd answer and then locked the topic so I was forced to start new threads to ask the question again. I have no interested in your game anymore because that and the twisted version of how it was in your comment above.
The AI is dumb, it forces in characters, goes off about the princess becoming my slave with the sentence repeating five times in a roll. do not fall for the "no rules no censorship" thing because it's pointless with the AI doesn't even let someone make a transgender spell.
just use janitor instead because it's free, capable of NSFW and not a dumber version of AI dungeon with a bad UI. Hell you can even get janitor.ai to not follow rules with good wording and "censoring" words.

Having constant issues with server disconnect, generating broken phrases and custom entry getting wiped it's practically a scam.

1. Можно присобачить любую модель ИИ
2. Готовый сервак на питоне
3. Кучи моделей ИИ в комплекте
4. Есть встроенный редактор историй
I tried many AI games like AI dungeon and the like. If you want me to pay 12 euros for a game, i should at least expect the game to work? Not to freeze every time i load it up and when it works once in a blue moon spit out a new error message when it tries to generate content. No Tutorial or guides to speak off, only on how to play the game. Like one would even get that far. With a name like Aidventure you cant even google the error messages cause google thinks you misspelled adventure.
It is a fun idea and if you are just looking for an easy way to setup an ai chat on your computer it is great at that. It is easy to use and quite configurable. Please read the requirements though.

Great idea, but the execution isn't there yet. There are a few issues that keep me from enjoying the game at this point in development:

[*]The quality of storytelling from the AI is fairly poor, and the mistakes it makes are distracting enough to me that I am unable to become immersed in the story.

I cannot figure out how to actually play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
I'm lost in menus.
I'm trying to follow guides but they all seem to assume I already possess the knowledge of how to get the game to actually start.
PLAY doesn't start the game. It asks me to load AI, which I try, and which never works, then server connection is lost and closed.
CREATE opens up a million options, which thanks to the help of a guide I was able to open the JSON file for some of the start scenarios and edit some things which felt like progress, but I still have no idea how to actually start the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
I like it; custom stuff takes a lot to set up, but it is proving to be well worth the effort. Currently roaming around my own version of Gotham City, a little copy-paste work, a wiki here and there, toss it in the game lore book, and simmer!
There are some pre-generated adventures that are really cool, and you can modify those as well. Custom stuff can get as in-depth as the time you are willing to spend on creating the content. I have only had issues with one model so far; the other few I have used have been doing fine, and there is a good selection. All in all, this is turning out to be pretty cool.
Haven't been able to generate a single answer, "lost connection to the server" happens every single time.
Dead development - don't buy
I got mixed thoughts about this (not negative nor positive).
Positive side:
1. no censorship. Noone can ban me if I want to see some horny things.
2. You can install any AI
3. One time buy.
4. Nice developer that reads every comment and the main thing - Listen and trying to do something with problems or add new features.
Negative side:
1. Very hard for new player to understand what is happening. No tutorial for dummies like me. I tried to find any guides - 0 information.
2. I hate that you can't generate with "Enter" button FIXED !
3. Very, very long generation with Cobolt AI (I used different from adventure to horny). And sometimes it's generates crazy stuff that is not even logical. So you got 2 options: you put fast generation that will do nothing or wait from 2-5 min to generate maybe something good.
4. I've got rtx 4070 ti super and i7-9600k, 32 gb RAM. So not bad PC fur such AI. But still no settings for GPU only generation. -Fixed I think?
5. GPT 2 - very old model. More giberrish stuff - impossible to create some normal story.
I will wait. I hope developer will do improvements in short time. Urgently need tutorial

I would really like to play this game, however I made the mistake of choosing an AMD GPU, which this game doesn't seem to support. : (
I can't really recommend it, mainly because I can't even play it due to my choice of GPU.. which honestly I regret even more now x.x

The Game Dev reached out to me and offered to help and they ended up figuring out a solution that now allows me to play this game. If anything, I recommend just because the dev themself seems to want to make this work and will work with their players to find solutions to problems with the game : )

Better the ai dungeon even if its a bit buggy
I still can't play this game, cos there is multiple viruses constantly triggering my anti-virus.

It was already quite good for what I paid. But the new experimental branch has mad it 100 times better. It generates text much faster now that it splits the load between your CPU and GPU. It's a great alternative to AIDungeon and NovelAI at a good price and 100% guaranteed privacy since it's your own machine doing the work.
This could be an interesting alternative to subscription services (AID, NAI) If you have a beast of a computer. Having some familiarity with 'games' of this nature, I was very curious to give this a shot. Sadly, my computer is not up to the task. At least not in a timely and enjoyable manner. Responses always took the default length of time to generate (60 seconds, user changeable) and consisted of 4 to 5 words. I set the max response length to 100 just to make sure it wasn't being limited by that, and no, still the same 4 to 5 words.
The returns were intelligible, and coherent to the scene. But at the rate of 'play' I think anyone would get bored after 30 minutes or so. Also I did not advance the story far enough to test things like creativity, scene transitions, and the like (weak spots for most of these AI story programs.)
For those interested, I am running an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (while running this my CPU usage never exceeded 65%), 32 GB of ram and an M.2 SSD. Video card is a Radeon, so it was not used by the program (you can read store page and comments section on why having a Radeon card does not work with this program). As you can see, not a toaster, but not top of the line at the moment either.
Still I am not refunding. I am curious to see how the program is handled at a later date, when I build my next rig (this program could be considered a new type of bench marking in a way). I absolutely love the idea of having something like this run locally on my own hardware. But I will need either better hardware, or access to a better tuned program,.. probably both, to get the in depth responsiveness I am used to with the subscription services that are available.

Most AI simply state whatever it is you do. it does not give you anything else. I.E, if you TRY something, it'll simply return with "you succeeded" or "you failed" along with what you tried to do.
Pros:
Automatically downloads relevant GPT models from the internet. Nice interface.
You not only have total freedom, meaning you can control what the AI does (for example, how many words can it say if you click "Generate"), but you also have 14-16 different AIs. I have to admit, the AI you choose can sometimes be too...annoying, but you can FULLY customize what the AI says.
Want to have a story-rich, deep and sophisticated world/RP, where every turn generated leaves you begging to know more? Want to have a full blown out one-hand experience to the point where you don't feel your body? YOU HAVE IT.
The newest experimental branch HEAVILY optimized the bot, it takes a few SECONDS for it to generate text. I love you Lya mwah
It's well worth buying as a budget bargain. A promising entry for anyone new to AI stories and adventuring. Developer has made a good start with this and has said that a tutorial and nicer interface is being worked on too. This would make this project a cheap and ideal beginner option that doesn't rely upon subscription services. I think over time this will make itself distinct as an option compared to vanilla KoboldAI and that will be a good thing for people to have increased options. Currently in Early Access, I look forward to hopefully updating this review with more good points on the features and abilities of this package in the future too.
TLDR: Fix a few things, maybe a tutorial, not bad (definitely better than AI cause it is a 1 time purchase)
As someone who is very new to AI Story Generators and such, I will give you my opinion.
It isn't very beginner user friendly, and someone who is interested in something like this but using this game as your first exposure to the concept. (I didn't want to spend money and extra time going to AI dungeon. And with all the backlash of censoring and reading stories. I didn't even try with that)
Sadly currently I noticed that this still uses the CPU instead of GPU of which I have 2 GPUs (i wasn't trying to flex I have a GTX 1070 and RTX 3080)
but well it is a 1 time purchase so I am happy to turn this review to a positive one, right now i feel this still needs some TLC.
And even though it takes 5 mins to generate the next event, i think i am having fun. Could do with a tutorial or a video of someone using this so i can understand better.

Does some things that A.I. Dungeon doesn't let you do. And that's pretty cool.
One of those things is the "Ask another generation". This allows you to request another suggestion made by the system without losing the former ones. This means that you can just compare them to eachother and edit and pick the one you like the most.
Besides that, the pricing is okay for what you get and for what's possible so far.
Yes, you can do the same things as with all those other big shot engines, but it will take time for your low life rig to create the output. Just be patient and play around with the settings until you find something you can work with.
This is the perfect AI text game I was looking for.
Its basically AI Dungeon on your own PC without censorship with the character attributes and a 'TRY' prompt much like a dungeons and dragons table top style strength check. I became aware that one can download one of the GTP2 pre-trained models directly and just run the thing in a command window but its not very neat and you need to make use of various /commands. From what I understand this is basically a GUI wrapper with the same sort of functionality (at least now) with the addition of the previous mentioned TRY [attribute] text prompts ... which is really cool. You also generate a attribute sheet on a new character with the ability to randomize them all or manually input a value (the try system is based of percentile to your attributes value and it only comes into play when you do one of the challenges).
My system: i7-9700K factory OCed to 4.5ghtz, 32 GB of DDR5 ram, RTX 3060 12gb, installed SSD drive read/write of 559/524 with a random read/write of 368/297. The biggest one is a 25gb memory model that more or less maxes my ram and cpu but works well. The 16gb AI ones run without maxing my hardware so that is best for my system.
Another AI game I have and recomend is AI Rougelite on steam here which is a MUD-style game with AI image generation, items and skills/spells presented to be more of a dungeon crawler (also that runs off your GPU only). This one is more about stories and can run off your CPU and ram. I am VERY happy with each. This one is the PERFECT alternative to AI Dungeon with capabilities to perform a bit better then AI Dungeon's free Griffon model at the 25gb ones.
This one is new and in early access but it runs purely off GPT2 so it'll perform and run just like that. My hope is that the dev adds more custom bells and whistles to this as time goes on. Maybe expanding the TRY interaction system somehow. As it is now? You can run this out of the box in its current state just fine.

Really awesome game! Really cool to just vibe to on 2nd monitor when playing the larger models because of the generation time. The only thing that would be nice is if it can finish the generation of text in a complete manner each time. Some models are better than that than others.
Amazing since it's a one time purchase unlike most AI text generation games.

Trés bon jeu du type Ai.Dungeon, pour ma part j'utilise le modèle GPT2-XL et il fonctionne trés bien. Le traducteur fonctionne trés bien aussi, ce n'est pas du google translate, c'est un vrai traducteur qui fonctionne en local sur votre PC (du coup la traduction ne passe pas par un outil en ligne).
Franchement je conseil a tout ceux qui ne sont pas anglophone de tester ce jeu.
Il n'est pas obligatoire de posséder une carte Nvidia (Cuda cores), il est possible d'utiliser la génération Pytorch uniquement avec votre processeur.
