I found out Steam had this game available as I was looking for any way to play this game again. I played this for hours as a kid, many times, on Xbox. I was feeling nostalgic and bummed thinking I'd likely be unable to play this game without an Xbox but low and behold, Steam saves it from being lost forever. I love this game to bits; the characters are so fun, the music is as nice as I remember it being, and is relaxing cause there is no rush to get things done. Can go at your own pace, following the story or getting side tracked for hours. Can't wait to play the story all over again, and maybe some dlc too.

I never realized how much I missed A World of Keflings until I replayed it. Genuinely a stellar little gem from yesteryear that has a fun, silly story and gameplay that feels engaging enough to free your mind from other stuff.

I do wish some of the controls had been revamped a midge and that the character creator was a bit more engaging, even if it obviously could never match the XBLA Avatars or Miis from the original versions. But those are minor things in the grand scheme of things.

I loved this game as a kid and am so excited to see it on Steam! As soon as the trailer played, I felt warped back in time to when I would spend hours on the Xbox 360 working on my kingdoms.

For any newcomers, A World of Keflings is a city simulator with cute characters and a fun story. You build individual components to piece together a variety of buildings, with quests that guide you through unlocking the next thing. There is no wait-time on building items other than a small animation when the component is being built.

The only improvement I can suggest is a more robust character creation. This shouldn't take priority over any other content, of course, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that misses having my Xbox avatar walking around. :) (EDIT After finishing the story: Now that I'm rearranging all the buildings, I think it would be nice if you could hand your helpers components to carry around with you, instead of them only being able to pick them up from different work stations, just to make rearranging easier and quicker. /edit)

Thanks for bringing this back! It's been a delight to experience this game again. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

Trust me I realize that a lot goes into making games nowadays, but lets be real here... Games of this era are Superior in every way. I not only was able to relive fond memories of being a child, but i was reminded of a simpler time when games were always a banger, an you couldn't wait for the next game/DLC to release. It's just not the same anymore. NinjaBee Devs knew what they were doing here. Excellent Job!

I used to play A Kingdom of Keflings on Xbox 360 back in the day. I clocked at least 200 hours on it, as it was one of my favorite games. I never got to play A World of Keflings, so to see this on Steam one random day, I was super excited. It's a lovely remaster, keeping the original style and vibe of the game that made my childhood. A timeless classic that sparked my love for the city building/simulation genre. I spent lots of hours back in the day on the Xbox 360 playing this. The main story can be completed in about 5ish hours, after which you can still finish building your city (completing optional & cosmetic buildings). Fun and cozy music.

This is this the 3rd time I've bought this game: The 1st was on the Xbox Live Arcade (RIP), second on Windows 10, and now on Steam. It was a welcome surprise to see it up for sale, and it was an instant purchase for me. Despite it being a nostalgic trip the game still holds up, unlike other games from the era. Although I've moved on with the genre, with such games as Factorio, but A World of Keflings has a certain simple complexity that is in part, satisfying, relaxing, and rewarding, which still has me hooked and hungry for more. Fortunately the weekly level has staved my hunger, (for now) hopefully more of the dlc will be released in the near future.

Ninjabee have been a studio I followed back in the day, and I hope this is the beginning of something great on PC. Fingers crossed we'll see more of their other games find a home on the platform (particularly A Kingdom for Keflings and Dash of Destruction) and maybe even something new?

Played this game when I was young when it originally came out on Xbox. Randomly thought of it again and wanted to try it out again. It was so fun, however I wish it was longer or at least still be updated. I completed the whole game in only six hours, and I know you can continue to build things as you'd like even after unlocking all the blueprints, but I am not very imaginative. I like being given the different tasks and having to go blueprint by blueprint to keep unlocking new ones.

I can't recommend A World of Keflings enough. I first played Kingdom For/World of Keflings on Xbox back when they launched, and on a whim I happened to look NinjaBee up today and... IT'S ON STEAM NOW?! You better believe I bought it quickly. Upcoming DLC?! I can not wait.

With any luck, enough following suit will get us a new Keflings game down the road. The things I'd do for more new Keflings.....

The very first game I ever played on Xbox 360. I had looked on steam for this game a few years ago and saw it wasn't there, and assumed that it wouldn't be on steam because its an older game. But I recently found out it was on steam, and the nostalgia hit like a truck. Never knew there were achievements for this game, but it's now at 100% and will always be a favorite.

if you liked a kingdom for keflings, whether for PC or on Xbox, you'll like this. it's effectively the same exact game, but with a new story and MANY quality of life improvements, including upgrades for walking speed and five big keflings that'll pick up stuff you make in workshops so you don't have to constantly walk back and forth!
i think that the main game is a little bare bones though, and im not a fan of the DLC requiring you to start a new world. i felt like i was breezing through everything (and my playtime as-of-review is about how long it'll take you to beat it if you just follow the story and not spend a lot of time messing around) and there's not a lot of things to do at all once you build the castle (you can't even get more keflings as far as i could tell). but seeing that the devs are still working on it gives me hope that the game'll get even better!

This is just a fun little, cozy casual game. The demo made it clear enough to me. It's not difficult at all. If you want a break from demanding games and you're okay with the game showing you what to do all the time and you like the demo then you will enjoy it. Build little towns and assign Keflings to harvest stuff and maybe kick 'em or shoot 'em out of the musical cannons too. I enjoyed it enough to get the DLC after finishing the campaign and a new update added a fun weekly challenge so hooray for being a mildly obnoxious, but useful giant! Haha!

I orignaly played the game back when it was released on xbox360 in 2010, one of the first video games as a child that got me into video games and it was this, this is one of those games that you just sit back and relax to, you can imagen my suprise when i googled the game ( as it was talking about the game) and to find out its now on steam!, thank you for bringing back so many memories for me, i also really can't wait for the sugar,spice not so nice as that feels super nostalgic to me to!!

So great to finally have this back- its a nice chill time and I've spent countless hours in it on the xbox. My only note is that I do hope there are more giant customization options in the future if that's possible, they can't reuse the xbox system but mabe a slightly more complex system to let you pick hairstyle, eye colour, and body type separately? Thanks for porting this guys, it means a lot
