Zombies in pinball? Like kissing a skull with spaghetti face. The ball ghosts out, zombies just blink. Not fun - it’s a bacterial endurance test. 2/10.

If after 69 minutes of full playtime your game has crashed 5+ times and the player has experienced multiple glitches leading to meaningless runs, then your arcade game is simply terrible.
While in concept from the rules and the playthroughs I can see the basis of what could be a potentially entertaining and engagingly challenging pinball game with lots of missions to pursue, it's simply unplayable. Even after going through the discussion forums and tinkering with the local files, after just a couple of minutes the game closes by itself. When it doesn't, sometimes the ball becomes invisible, or it glitches positioning itself in the middle making it impossible to hit, or something else happens. While I could also mention how there's not volume control options, the presentation is quite average and there are some typos like "unknow", these are minor grievances in comparison.
In short, unless you're morbidly curious or get this as part of a bundle (like yours truly) there's not much of a justification to give this game a try unless it gets a fix, which considering how many years it has been that seems unlikely.

What does those floating monster images add to pinball table. Nothing, except obstructing view. Add to that lots of irritating flashes and lens flare effects and sight of balls get lost quite easily. There are better pinballs available.
Note: This review will seem very similar to my review for Babylon 2055 and Quantic pinball games. This is because the "developer" of both games just [b]copy and pasted the entire game.[/b] Asset flipping begins at home, I guess.
Zombie Pinball is an extraordinarily mediocre pinball simulator game... I won't go into explaining what pinball is, but it's important to know there's quite a few pinball games on Steam, and while I don't agree with their predatory pricing models, a few of them give you completely free tables to play on and are backed by a really solid pinball simulator engine.
This one is the opposite.
You can unlock a handful of tables, but there's no point... this is worse than the 3D spaceman pinball you get with Windows XP. It's only in 2D, there's no table bumping feature (I guess you don't have to worry about Tilt???)... it's just a simplistic mess that I am surprised isn't a Flash game. And a slew of technical shortcomings.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features simple, fairly basic 2D visuals, and while some effort went into them, and they don't look bad exactly, they don't look great, either. In the 3D era of gaming, that kicked off in the mid 1990's with dedicated 3D GPUs like the S3 Virge and ATI Rage, phoning in the graphics like this isn't going to win any awards or appeal to enthusiast PC gamers.
The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2024 (and this was released not so far back in 2017), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Zombie Pinball has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "Veritable Pirate", hitting the pirate thing on the table score thing, trivial to achieve, but less than 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a modest spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 8 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam?
Zombie Pinball has the farcical price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

I like pinball as much as the next guy, but this is pretty boring. But before I could even play, the menu ticked me off. There's like a huge delay when switching to each selection in the menu, and it constantly made me think my controller was broken. I switched to keyboard and mouse thinking it would help, but no...I thought I'd just be able to click on the part I wanted, but it forces you to slowly and painfully scroll to where I want to go regardless of what I use.
Anyway, when I finally get to play, I find that a zombie thing is blocking the entire left hand side of the screen and just a little of the left hand side of the pinball machine. Okay, that's kinda dumb but no big deal.
The table itself is a lot of neon green lights that makes it hard to see at first until you get used to it. But then if you really get some exciting stuff to happen, there's so much going on, you can't see anyway.
I believe there are 7 tables to choose from, but you only start with one and have to unlock the rest by collecting "bloody scares," which you get in exchange for the points you rack up in a game. Every 20,000 scares nets you a new table, except the last costs 50,000.
This is all well and fine, except unless you get over 50 million points, you hardly get any scares. It took me an hour, or 4 games, to finally be able to unlock the second table. This doesn't seem too bad, but it's really boring when the table is rather underwhelming and it takes a really long time to rack up the big points. What's worse is every now and then something happens that completely freezes up getting any points. It's some kind of event and I don't know what triggers it or how to stop it. So for a good while I'm just smacking the ball around accumulating 0 points until I accidentally hit the right thing to allow me to get points again. Cuz why not elongate something that becomes extraordinarily tedious after just one game?
So finally I unlock the second table, hoping this one will be more creative and faster to gain points.
I couldn't have been more wrong. The second table sucks. It's just a bunch of ramps that are very hard to hit the ball in so I just wound up hitting it straight up into this tiny loop thing that spits the ball right back at me for no points.
I played this machine for 9 minutes before I lost all my balls and only scored a little over a million points. In that time I could have gotten at least 20-30 million on the first table!
And by the way, 1 million points is worth about 300 bloody scares. So that really puts into perspective how long it takes to unlock tables.
So after looking forward to trying out a new table, I find it's a complete waste of time and if I want to unlock any other tables before I retire, I've gotta play the first table some more, and I say F that!
Oh and to really nitpick, there are creaky boat, and seagull sounds in the first table, yet the table is not designed in a ship kind of way at all, and the zombie is not dressed in any manner that would suggest I am on the open sea or near a beach.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Pinball с зомби. Куча постепенно открывающихся досок, но все доски с малыми отличиями. Чтобы зайти в полном экране на 10 винде нужно шаманить (смотреть обсуждения). Настроек в игре нет, кнопки перезабиндить нельзя, как трясти стол тоже не нашел. Ну такое себе... Тем более когда есть такой мастадонт как Pinball FX.

O jogo é super exaustivo por seguintes motivos e divididos em tópicos:
*Mapas:
eles são super reaproveitáveis, o jogo te obriga a ficar no mesmo mapa jogando ele muitas vezes seguidas e ainda por cima pra desbloquear mais mapas (porque sim, você desbloquear mapas) você precisa fazer muitos pontos, pontos extremamente exagerados
*pouco mapa: o criador fez poucos mapas e queria ganhar um dinheiro fácil com isso por isso fazendo o reaproveitamento com os pontos.
*Blood challenges:
São os mesmos mapas, só que você tem que fazer a pontuação de 20k pra ganhar blood stars.
*Blood stars:
As estrelas sangrentas são o que você ganha a cada 100k de pontos, eles serão usadas pra desbloquear os níveis se você parar pra fazer um cálculo rápido pra você desbloquear cada é necessário:
200 jogos com mais de 10.000.000 pontos (96% das pontuações nas tabelas de classificação são superiores a 10.000.000) ou,
100 jogos com mais de 20.000.000 pontos
40 jogos com mais de 50.000.000 pontos

Whenever I start a new Game, I first of all go to the options to turn off the Blur.
Welcome to my nightmare!
All the blinking and flashing and glowing has something good. It distracts you from the table-Layout.
The Layout reminds me on an old pinball on my old C64. Nothing wrong with nostalgia. But its boring.
And if it really is a good idea to put a big Character half over the table, hiding some lanes, is doubtable.
Of course its not a high polished, expensive pinball. And to make some progress is what keeps a pinball fan running, right? So yes, you can make some progress in Zombie Pinball. At least I had some numbers in my highscore and everything was blinking and glowing like crazy. But I think I had enough and will not play it further.
One REALLY bad thing is the language. I could not find any way to change the language to english. Not even via Steam. And the forced german translation is - to say it friendly - funny here and there. No, thats not funny anymore.
I payed 1 euro something in sale. For that price its ok for me to keep it. But for the full 5 Euros I would have refunded it.

特效比较丰富，但是都是重度光学污染，非常刺眼。甚至还有百分百纯色的红屏。

I've never been so happy to lose at a game ... so I can finally quit. There's also random seagull sounds in a zombie pinball game for some reason. Maybe they had a sale at the asset flip store or more than likely, it was free sounds. Anyways, the controls are sluggish. The sounds and music are bad. The ball physics are okay for a mobile phone or flash app.
I'm just happy that I got this in some bundle. I'm just surprised that some people thought this was worthy of a positive recommendation. I mean what other trash games have they played that they think is good by comparison? Really makes you wonder.
If I could give a neutral vote, I would. But I can't, so I'm leaning slightly to the negative because it's not worth its price. There are quite a few bad design choices (having a big zombie covering part of the table is one). The tables don't have themes, there's nothing exciting happening, no score adding at the end, just hitting balls and racking up score. There was nothing on table 1 that compelled me to try and unlock table 2.

There is only one table in the beginning with the size of a matchbox and around 8 places to shoot the ball to.
Players are supposed to farm 20000 stars on that to unlock the next one. One game of ~30 minutes is around 1500 stars.

If there would be more starting tables, bit bigger than my palm and more detailed, I would spend time on it, but honestly I am not that curious of the other tables after this. =/
Take the old, but gold Psycho Pinball as an example.
The 21th century can do much better than this in terms of pinballs.

Why are 9 languages without Chinese?
游戏计分有bug，我第一关弹了半小时，分数已经拿到成就了，结算给了我五千以上的blood star，结果首页显示我的blood star还是第一次玩之后的数量，并没有把第二局的加上去。如果这样的话，后面的所有关卡都解锁不了，懒得开第三局了。再者，这个配色真的好丑，开始画面绿的不行，切换画面又全红，略感不适。单讲弹球台的话，普普通通吧。
I do not recommend this. Its cheap and lazy design with a huge annoying zombie mascot always floating in your face. Did not enjoy enough.

I like this Zombie Pinball game and seem to like playing it around this time of month. I give it a thumbs up.
Boring tables, horrible colors, debatable physics, maybe worth $.5
It looks good and fun, specially for the price. But notice the gigantic image taking up the sideboard in some of the images? Sometimes they don't go away. They can take up to half of the board, which is really annoying in a pinball game.
The table design is good imo. Not AAA quality but certainly fun. Which is a pitty, because it hurts the eyes due to it's very, very vibrant colors. There's no way to tune it down either. This was the worst problem for me.
It's just one of the multiple tables available, so let's go play another one, right? Nuh-uh! They're locked behind ingame credits. You have to play challenges to earn these credits. But it takes you 6+ challenges just to get enough for the second table.
You're stuck doing several tutorial-like pinball missions until you can finally move on from the initial table. The challenges are just variants of the first table. I'm not an avid pinball player so that turned me off completely.
tl;dr okay when heavily discounted
Tables I played on were pretty uncreative. Had a visual bug where the ball would vanish. Thought it was supposed to do that until I saw it drop off the map and yet the bloom still continued to bounce around. Not a bad game for the price, but I wouldn't pay more than 1 dollar for it.

kinda fun when you can see whats going on. the visuals seem to have bloom set to 500% hiding the ball also do to the layout the balls seem to end up in the paddles dead zone way to much.
Zombie Pinball comes with two play options: Regular Play (set number of lives, unlimited time) and Challenge Mode.
Challenge mode sees you trying to achieve a certain target, eith an event, and score, or a type of multi-ball etc.
Both modes will offer you 'Bloody Stars' when completed, which can then be used to unlock further tables.
Herein lies on of the main issues with this game. All but one table is locked at the beginning of the game, which means you will need to play either the challenges (which can only be tackled in order) or the same table over and over again before you get to experience a different table. For some, this may be too limiting, as it does cause the game to become tedious very early on.
Quite why the game insists on the challenges only being done in the order they are set I don't know, but it does mean getting stuck on a challenge effectively ends your progression entirely.
Controls for the game are slightly awkward, with flippers being controlled with the left and right arrow keys, and with no option to remap these, you will need to get used to this setup.
There are a few issues with the game, in particular a couple of game breaking bugs I encountered where the ball would be lost between your flippers, but would not end, forcing you to quit and start all over again. The game would also shut down a few times in the middle of a game.
The games does however boast great music and sound effects, which are no doubt its highlights, but the high contrast neon green may be too much for many, and the intrusive zombie from the left may put people off even further, as it does seem incredibly unnecessary, and aside from the voice over and zombie on the screen, there is very little zombie influence on the genre.
As a pinball simpleton, I found the tables to be pretty uninspiring, with repetative cycles around the table, although Pinball aficionados may be able to find hidden nuances I was unable to.
At £3.99, it's a pretty fair price to pay if you are a pinball fan, but make no mistake, there are much better options available out there.
Best for: Decayed Ball Flippers

The zombie theme does nothing to breath any life into the pinball boards being offered. Progression requires a heavy time commitment for small variations.
Honestly, this game doesn't deserve its "Mostly Positive" rating. It deserves to be sitting in the "Mostly Negative" in its current state. There is so much wrong with this game that I'm going to resort to using bullet points, otherwise I'm going to write a wall of text that no one is going to read (myself included).
• The bloom is way too high. It's insanely difficult to see what's going on, and where the ball is.
• A bug reported in 2017 (and claimed to be fixed) was that the ball falls through the launcher making you unable to play the game unless you exit the level and reopen it. If you luckily get the ball unstuck (with a lot of tilting), the ball turns invisible anyway. Sigh.
• A bug reported in 2016 (after the developers asked players to submit any they found) was you cannot ALT+Tab out and in the game -- Simple for the devs to replicate and fix. This was never fixed.
• The "Music" is 100% volume or 0% volume. Nothing inbetween. You could always tab out to change it, then close the game and reopen it because... ALT-TABBING BACK IN DOESN'T WORK!
• The game has no keybind options. The flippers are controlled by Left Arrow key and Right Arrow key. The tilt button by Enter, and the pause button by P. For your main demographic, those with a left and right hand, these keybinds are awful. Everything is on the right side of the keyboard.
• While I understand you're probably proud of your zombie artwork, do they have to cover 25 to 30% of the screen?
• There is so much use of the color green and red overlapping (with no option to change them) exist in this game as someone with colorblindness, this is quite fustrating. A simple option to change the color of the ball would suffice.
The developers obviously abandoned this game nearly straight after release with no intentions to fix any issues. I'd need convincing that they even tested the game before launch. It's not worth $4.99 with how sloppy this is.

this has to be the worst pinball game ive ever played
I like pinball having ground up with the real tables in the 70's and 80's, but this game has a bug that kills the enjoyment, along with some irrating features.
The ball "drops" through the plunger many times meaning you cannot start the gameplay. You have to quit and restart the game hoping it doesn't happen again. It happens enough that I will not recommend the game.
Aside from that the game feature very bright light effects that are purposefully the same color as the pinball. There are bright green lights that flash and you have a bright green ball so you lose sight of it. In multiball play there are also red and cyan colored balls with the same colored roving spotlights that again make the balls basically invisible. It may be to add challenge, but personally I find it annoying.
Just let me play the game! Why do I have to unlock everything in a game I paid for? I don't have time for this crap.

En plus le gameplay est mou & lent, quasi-aucuns sons pour les billes & les bumpers, la physique pas très bonne non plus.
Donc sans aucune sensations en général...
Les contrôles au clavier sont naze (fleches directionnelles & enter pour un tilt bien pourri), seul point positif la manette est compatible...
En plus le comble est qu'il faut débloquer toutes les tables une à une avec des points & il en faut un paquet!! (une seule table de débloquée au départ & probablement la seule que vous verrez de toute façon...)
Tous ça pour d'autres tables quasi-identique & toutes aussi mauvaise que les précèdentes...
Sans compté sur les bugs du genre la bille qu'on lance est invisible (super pratique n'est ce pas?) ou elle reste bloquée sous le 'ressort' de départ donc reset de la partie obligatoire...
Des pinballs sous win95 était mieux que cette purge absolue!!
Eu gosto de Pinball (desde os de máquina como as versões eletrônicas do mesmo) - tem nostalgia e infância ao mesmo tempo que um desafio mecânico interessante. Tem centenas de mesas diferentes e interessantes para serem jogadas por aí. Mas infelizmente Zombie Pinball nao foi feliz em diversos aspectos
1 - Realmente não compreendi a lógica de desbloquear mesas, uma vez que são necessárias as estrelas sangrentas mas não vi como ganhar elas (talvez por ter desistido do jogo rápido de mais pelos motivos abaixo citados mas, ainda assim, pode ser uma falha
2 - A mesa inicial é incrivelmente pequena, basciamente ela tem apenas 2 rampas simples e 4 espaços para se acertar a bola. Não está claro de forma alguma o que deve ser feito, onde acertar, tudo parece incrivelmente aleatório
3 - O principal problema do jogo entretanto é outro. Não sei como desejaram "inovar" mas existe uma imagem de zumbi que sobrepõe a mesa pela lateral que impede enxergar a própria mesa (a princípio até achei que se tratava de algum "personagem" que deveria ser acertado ou algo do tipo, ou talvez até que ele reagisse de formas diferentes baseado no que ace acerta na mesa, mas não, ele é aparentemente decorativo mas impede de enxergar a mesa.
4 - Ainda sobre a visualização da mesa, toda vez que aparece alguma "mensagem especial" ela sobrepõe a mesa, o que se somando ao zumbi citado acima faz com que algumas vezes simplesmente seja impossível acompanhar visualmente a trajetória da bola
5 - Apenas dois "efeitos especiais" foram vizualizados por mim, o primeiro a bola dupla (ok, legal, comum nas mesas clássicas também) e o "super bola" ... que por algum motivo não parece ter absolutamente nada de diferente da bola comum (talvez conte mais pontuação mas não merece o "estardalhaço de mensagem ocupando a tela" se nada muda.
6 - Toda boa mesa de pinball conforme você acerta certos lugares muda a posição das rampas, abre partes bloqueadas da mesa, rediciona alguma situação (é o distrinchar pouco a pouco da mesa que torna o pinball interessante) ou essa mesma inicial realmente tem algum segredo oculto que não pude encontrar ou realmente ela não tem nada disso, sendo o pinball mais simplista que já vi até hoje, da menor mesa, e com a visualização mais dificultada
Por tudo isso impossível recomendar.

Das Spiel "Zombie Pinball" konnte mich nicht überzeugen. Im Spiel traten einige Fehler auf. Manchmal war die Kugel schon am Start verbuggt oder wurde nicht angezeigt. Die Software ist einige Male abgestürzt und das Spiel frierte ein(Windows 10 64Bit). Auch der zusätzliche Layer der über 1/3 des Spiefeldes geht war eher störend als hilfreich. Entweder sollte man den Layer deaktivieren können oder er sollte nur temporär angezeigt werden.

Very boring very quickly to this semi-pinhead, and have to earn other tables which is an unwelcomed hassle.
Not a serious pinball game, might be good for kids/new to pinball.
Wouldn't recommend this over any Pinball FX2 table, Pinball Arcade, or Zaccaria Pinball, or even Worms Pinball.
This game is hillariously fun, omg the first table is simply put a scream, the amount of replayability is cannot be described in this review. This game has what it takes to put a smile on my face. I got this game for $2.49 and I have to say it was well worth the money if not for my collection, but for the entertainment value. Get this one, you will not regret it.

I have never been to Soho or Brighton, but I have always loved pinball. I grew up during the golden age of pinball. I played some really good tables, good themes, talking tables, etc. The best tables always had great gameplay with smooth flipper action. The theme was almost always fun, but good gameplay always wins out over theme. I've played many a table where the hotspot on the flippers would klunk off an corner. As the tables aged, the flippers would give the ball less momentum and the ball didn't roll as well ... leading to weak action (balls just going up to the target and .... falling well short to roll back down again without hitting anything).
Video pinball never ages or succumbs to weak action, burned out lights, poor ball rolling, etc. There are many pinball games that capture this table realism and maintain the pinball feel like an actual table, but Zombie Pinball is not one of these. Zombie Pinball offers an interesting approach to pinball, doing some really cool things that a real table never could. And it does these things quite well. The flipper action is smooth - no klunking off corners. The flipper hotspots have a real smooth and satisfying result - usually to the top and down a winding side tunnel or pegging a target. Very nice.
Floating video animations can be unlocked that are vaporized with the ball. Multiball can be unlocked (two ball), and several other multiball scenarios can be unlocked with what appears to be a dozen or so balls. Sometimes they are on fire. It has a thoughtful "Ball Saved" mechanism, so that when multiball happens, drained balls are automatically shot back out onto the top (for a certain amout of time). This way, you get a reasonable amount of gameplay with the multiball scenario that you spent the time unlocking (a super nice feature). I've played a real world table that shot the multiballs at high speed right at the flippers. If you weren't expecting it, they went straight down the drain - and there went your multiball. Thanks for that!
Other tables can be unlocked by accruing Bloody Stars (basically points for scoring while playing a table). It's fun to spend some effort learning to do something well with a reward at the end! I haven't played all of the tables, but the main table is fun enough for the price of admission. The unlockables are just a bonus. I am having fun just playing the main table so far...
The configuration options for the game are very limited. The devs just added using the SHIFT keys for the flippers, so that was really the big concern. The keys can't be configured, but they are pretty standard. Some people report issues with certain resolutions, but the Devs are on it.
The devs are active on the forums, and they have already implemented several suggestions. Please feel free to add some constructive ideas!
Bottom line. If you want realism, look elsewhere. If you want something fun and interesting with smooth action and some unlockable rewards, right here.

Игра радует глаз своим необычным оформлением и функционалом.В них включены 7 различных таблиц, 20 зрелищных игровых режимов и сотни проблем, которые вам предстоит решить ну пути от одного стола к другому. Чтобы открыть каждый новый стол нам нужно набрать определенное количество пойнтов, которые начисляются после игры. Для новичков в пинболе это может показаться довольно трудным.
Графикой и музыкальным наполнением я остался доволен. Возникла только проблема с регулятором громкости. Его местоположение так и не было найдено.
В игре довольно красочные и трудно получаемые ачивки, присутствуют карты. К сожалению нет русского языка,но он тут в принципе и не нужен.
Что же, скажу сразу я не ярый фанат пинбола,но в детстве не раз доводилось играть. Игра перенесла меня в мои детские годы, когда еще не было компьютеров, да и приставки были далеко не у всех. Пинбол тогда был одним из средств развлечений, за которым можно было скоротать время.
Что же,откинем воспоминания и вернемся к игре. Она очень необычно, ярко и красочно оформлена в стиле хэллоуинских зомби. Правда от названия "зомби" тут практически ничего нету (кроме оформления и эффектов от них в различных режимах игры). Графика здесь на уровне, различные виды пинбольных столов /режимов делают игру довольно занимательной. Музыкально оформление тоже неплохое. Но тут есть свое "но".
Музыкальные/звуковые эффекты в игре можно только отключить. Я нигде не нашел регулятор громкости. Меню настроек представлено очень просто. Отсутствует поддержка русского языка. Так же существуют проблемы с оптимизацией игры. У меня после сворачивания игры в трей, происходило 2 варианта событий: 1- игра на разворачивалась; 2- игру выбивало с ошибкой.
Подведем же итоги. Игра довольно неплоха и имеет свои достоинства. К ним относятся и карточки с достижениями. Они очень креативно сделаны. Однако существуют еще проблемы.которые следует устранить. Я считаю.что игра стоит своих денег, но при условии что поправят эти недостатки.
Пинбол с зомби оформлением. Фанатеешь от зомби? Нравится пинбол? Тогда тебе нужен Zombie Pinball! Правила игры просты и всем понятны - управляя клапанами твоя задача зарабатывать очки, пиная специальные фишки с помощью шарика. Отличия от, скажем, или , лишь в том, что оформление здесь выполнено в тематической стилистике - вокруг все ядовитое, кровавое, много зомби и монстров. У тебя будет возможность поиграть на 7 разных столах и выбор из 20 уникальных режимов, и все это под красочную и захватывающую музыку.

Tired of traditional pinball games? This one is for you! Colorful, with lot of effects, I recommend this game. It is fun and very cheap for a game like this.
Before beginning to write this review of Zombie Pinball, the reviewer carefully read ZP's Store Page. Actually, it says very little, and claims little more, except the possibly questionable “A super addictive gameplay”. In fact, Zombie Pinball is all it claims to be (with the one possible exception.) It is fun, it does (one presumes) have seven tables. Thus, this reviewer will give a positive review of a game that presents itself honestly, but will also attempt to include enough information to allow each gamer to make a personal choice.
Yes, Zombie Pinball does involve hitting BALLS with FLIPPERS, and by doing so, scoring POINTS. It has lots of SOUNDS, and LIGHTS, and does it ever have POINTS! And it looks GREAT! So it certainly does fulfill every component of the definition of “pinball”. But it is by no means “traditional” pinball.....
Zombie Pinball has seven tables, but at this point only three of them (very similar in most ways) are part of this review to any degree. The reason? Tables beyond the first one need to be unlocked by the acquisition of “Bloody Stars” in order to play. And while it’s not an overwhelming number of stars, for some beginning players it might take many hours of play to access each next table. (This player managed to get over half the required stars for the next table from a single, 1.3 billion-point game (since, vanished from history. "News at 11:00".)
As for scoring, Zombie Pinball offers an achievement when a player manages to “Obtain more than 100.000.000 points on any table” (table or game?), so clearly this game is geared toward the less experienced pinballer. And this reviewer doesn’t doubt for a moment that for these players the game will be a real blast, providing many hours of fun and considerable challenge. But for a more advanced player (with this player falling somewhat in-between), this game may not be more than marginally suitable or enjoyable. One can see endless games; literally games without end. Or at least, games lasting hours and hours, since most of the time there is more than a single active ball. As such, it’s unlikely that there will ever be a time without the opportunity to assure a "next" ball in play, with the relatively easy opportunity for extra balls. There does seem to be some indication of table difficulty increasing (far too gradually) as new tables are unlocked, so this review may be wrong, and need correcting later.
No doubt, for a less experienced player it will be exciting to have in excess of ten balls in play at once during a Zombie Pinball game. But for the experienced player this multi-ball play might easily account for up to a third (or more) of game time, with the flippers constantly “tattooing’ (or, pressing of the keys in a rapid, staccato fashion.) This "rapidly" (Har!) grows tiring, and more than just a bit boring. But, WOW!, does it build the points quickly! And did this reviewer forgot to mention: 5-ball games? (Great when quarters are at stake, but perhaps unnecessary in computer pinball.) A player may also invoke the previously mentioned “tattoo tactic” when the common “fire mode” is achieved, as it’s very difficult to see exactly what is, or isn’t, a ball. That’s also the case in some of the more flashy modes. Red balls have become the 21st century's version of "DIP", or "Darned Invisible Pinballs" ( at the best of times.) So clearly, the fingers will get a workout, two at the time.
Zombie Pinball includes some game-accessible modes which are interesting, but of minimal challenge to many players. In some of them creatures or items float across the screen, offering additional balls as they are hit. It also offers Challenges that might act to liven the game up a bit for more advanced players, 70 Challenges total. Each must be completed to continue to the next. The first one simply reads “Validate 10 ramps”, but not a clue as to how that’s done, or quite what it means. And after scoring numerous billions of points, it hasn’t happened on its own for this player, so perhaps only the best players can achieve these 70 goals (or it’s really far simpler, and being overthought.) However, Challenges do offer additional, no doubt well deserved “Bloody Stars” for those figuring it out.
There’s a total of eleven Zombie Pinball achievements, most involving “Completing” individual tables. Apparently a table is “Completed” by invoking four specific modes. However, having received as many as thirteen times the “achievement” high score, and had the words “Completed” flashed on the screen repeated times…the reviewer has yet to receive this achievement. Not even on the original table. Who knows, at this point, what’s missing or done incorrectly? The “Rules” are very brief with terms that may be familiar to the DEVs, but are not expressed clearly enough, or sometimes grammatically proper enough to be helpful to this player. (Achievement statistics indicate that while nearly half of players have the high-score achievement, no one has any of the others.)
Currently Zombie Pinball has a number of bugs, apparently mostly under consideration. One causes the game to crash upon every exit. This reviewer encountered one on a three occasions where balls simply ceased being issued mid-game, and experienced the disappearance of the mentioned 1.3 billion-point game from the high score listing (though without the documentation necessary to substantiate.) Perhaps some of the other concerns or questions expressed in this review are actually not intended to be a part of the game. Perhaps we'll know soon.
This player hasn’t attempted to play Zombie Pinball with a controller, and it seems perhaps to be designed exclusively for keyboard play. The menu system is very poorly designed, but game play should be the deciding factor.
Who should buy Zombie Pinball? Completionists, of course. Beginning pinballers. Better pinballers who don’t mind throwing the last balls of a game away in order to leave the house. (Seriously.) Those who want to have fun without taking the experience too seriously. Those who want a pinball experience to cool down after or warm up before serious pinball. And certainly, those who enjoy zombies, which I suspect is the intent of this fun, but (so far) non-challenging game. For its moderate and fair price perhaps no one should ultimately be discouraged from this purchase.

Also ich persönlich finde die Idee ganz spaßig, obwohl diese Flippertische nichts mit "Arcade" oder "FX" zu tun haben, da die Spielphysik nichts mit der realität zu tun hat.Für den jetzigen Preis kann ich es dennoch empfehlen, da es sehr kurzweilig ist und es auch noch Archivments und Karten obendrauf gibt.
Well I just wanted to put a few things out there for people looking to buy this game...
I spent a little over an hour with the first table, which was fun but not at all what I was expecting. The table itself is fine, and there is 5-6 mini games you can activate by hitting targets. The physics feel super floaty... the balls themselves sound and feel more like you are playing a pachinko machine filled with glass beads. I say this because the first table has at least 4 differant seperate multiball modes and you can trigger them all at the same time. Ten+ glass beads shooting (floating) all over the place while on fire (yes on fire with trail effect) is exciting but not what I have been used to playing on FX2 or Pinball Arcade. In how it compares to actual pinball I would say this is the lowest of the pinball games I own.
Some of the rules language is a bit strange. The first challenge is "Validate 10 lanes"
There seems to be a score bug occasionally and the scoreboard is local only for now from what I can tell. The real stinker for me is the lack of changeable options. I have not figured out how to change my flipper and launch keys, as in there is no setting on the menu (the default is the left and right arrow keys). Not mentioned anywhere in the game either so you kinda have to press keys to figure out what is what lol.... lame. (Enter was table shake, and space was launch). Another thing that irritated me was the fact that all but the first table are locked. You must earn enough points to unlock the next table. Maybe I dont want to play the same table 20-30 times in a row? Pinball just seems a strange game to content lock table variety down.
I know it just launched, and its super cheap... but it FEELS like a tablet game to me. If you are totally fine with that and want some semi mindless pinball lite gameplay then grab it. I DO like it I just don't know how often I will play it when there are so many other options with leaderboards and tournaments. Maybe in the future they will add more options to customize keys.
