Интересная игра не имеющая аналогов. Она правда немного сложнее чем кажется. Цель - обмотать веревкой деревянную фигурку так, чтобы охватить как можно больше её площади. Веревка нам дается определенной длины, в чем и заключается сложность. Фигурки разнообразны и чем выше уровень, тем они сложнее. Довольно-таки приятная на вид игра, очень простой геймплей однако имеются элементы головоломки, а значит позволит расслабиться и немножко пошевелить мозгами. По скидке - рекомендую

Ein Gelegenheitsspiel, nicht immer entspannend.

[b]Gameplay[/b]

Die Idee ist einfach. Man soll in jedem Level eine Figur mit einem Seil umwickeln, so dass am Ende möglichst die gesamte Oberfläche von einer Farbe bedeckt ist, die von dem Seil in seiner näheren Umgebung "ausgestrahlt" wird. Das von mir so genannte Ausstrahlen ist also nicht permanent; entfernt man das Seil an einer Stelle wieder, ist auch die Farbe weg. Die Länge der Schnur ist begrenzt.

In jedem Level gibt es bis zu drei Blumen abzustauben, je nach dem, ob man 70%, 85% oder 99% der Oberfläche mit Farbe bedeckt hat (die ersten beiden Werte könnten evtl. variieren). Nichtimmer nimmt das Spiel seine 99% aber so genau; manchmal genügen (optisch angenähert) auch 95%, das muss man ausprobieren; entscheidend ist aber immer der angegebene Prozentwert.

Es gibt nach zwei Varianten des Farbkleckerns. In einer gibt es auf der Schnur aufgereiht wie Perlen kleine Farbbeutel, die platzen und eine großere Fläche einfärben, wenn sie unter Druck geraten (also meist eben an der Oberfläche der Figur). Dafür ist meist die Schnur nicht so lang.

Die letzte Variante besteht darin, dass die Figur mit Nadeln gespickt ist, die solche Farbbeutel an ihrer Spitze enthalten und mit der Schnur ähnlich zum Platzen gebracht werden.

Das Spiel erscheint recht simpel und ist es bei vielen Figuren auch. Schwieriger wird es bei Figuren, die viele innen liegende Oberflächenteile haben (mathematisch: die nicht Teil der [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convex_hull#/media/File:Convex_hull_of_a_simple_polygon.svg]konvexen Hülle[/url]; vergleiche auch folgenden Screenshot), die also nicht dadurch erreichbar sind, dass man die Figur insgesamt umwickelt wie mit einer Klarsichtfolie.

Da wir bildlich gesprochen nur eine Hand zur Verfügung haben, müssen wir uns manchmal ziemlich anstrengen, um gewisse Bereiche abzudecken. Bereits abgewickelte Teile der Schnur können unser weiteres Vorgehen auch behindern. Und zuguter letzt muss man immer noch einen Zielnagel erreichen, der nicht immer "schön" gelegen ist.

Der Zielnagel muss für ein bis zwei Sekunden berührt werden, dann ist der Level beendet. Manchmal passiert dies aber auch aus Versehen. Das kann dann ziemlich ärgerlich sein, wenn man bspw. gerade bei 97% war ...

Für eine Blume pro Level sollte es aber immer reichen, meist auch für die zweite Blume. Das genügt, um alle Level durchspielen zu können. Will man aber immer auf die 99% kommen (manchmal ist es einfach), wird man wahrscheinlich zum Tier. Zen ist das dann jedenfalls nicht mehr, es sei denn, man zieht die Zen-Erkenntnis vor, dass fast alles Streben sinnlos ist.

Für die 99%-Aspiranten sei auch erwähnt, dass es geschätzt über 100 Figuren gibt, das ist zwar einerseits schön, aber selbst für gewöhnliche Gelegenheitsspieler ist der Neuheitsflair schon längst verflogen, wenn man zur Hälfte durch ist.

[b]Technik[/b]

Technisch einfach aber auch einwandfrei. Das Menü ist ausführlich und schön gestaltet. Die Methode, das Seil und seinen Zweck, die Figur zu umwickeln, ist wirklich hervorragend ausgearbeitet. Das Seil hat eine deutliche Haftreibung, die es ermöglicht, auch auch schwierige Stellen zu erreichen und "Kurven" zu machen. Andererseits ist die Reibung auch überwindbar, so dass man da sehr gut jonglieren kann. Andererseits kann es, wie oben erwähnt, auch mächtig stressen, gewisse Dinge zu erreichen, die nicht einfach so erreichbar sind.

Die Grafik ist schlicht aber für die Zwecke wirklich gut. Der Sound ist ähnlich.

Die Steuerung mit der Maus ist gut und tut an sich das, was man will. Allerdings endet man oft doch eben so, dass man nicht mehr sieht was man tut oder das Seil ungünstig liegt. Da muss man dann des öfteren mit der Maus rummanövrieren, was an sich wohl kaum vermeidbar ist und man gewöhnt sich weitgehend daran. Es könnte sein, dass es mit dem Controller besser ginge, der wird aber nicht unterstützt (es gibt offenbar eine Fan-made Gamepad-Emulation, ich habe sie aber nicht ausprobiert).

[b]Sonstiges[/b]

Ich habe bislang 10 Stunden gespielt und habe so etwa 80% aller Figuren "erledigt", allerdings nur zum Teil auf 99%.

Es gibt sehr viele Errungenschaften. Viele davon ziemlich aufwendig, wie die Statistik auch zeigt.

Ein Gelegenheitsspiel, das viele Stunden lang fesseln kann, eh' man die Fesselung aber wohl über hat. Achtung: kann Stress produzieren wie auch abbauen.

Entsprechend der Daumen nach oben oder unten, abhängig davon, ob ich es einem ähnlich gesinnten Spieler weiterempfehle. I am a 55 year old biker and trucker father, and probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my son many happy memories.

If you're trying to get full completion this game is Infuriating! There's a nail you wrap the rope around to end the level, and you can accidentally do this with no option to undo it.

Full completion is not trivial at all either, you have to get 99% paint on an object, which can often be VERY DIFFICULT. This game is not zen, not by a long shot.

This game was sold to me as relaxing, calming, and fun. This game was not, in fact, relaxing. Or calming. Or really that fun. The absolute adherence to maximum coverage shenanigans combined with annoying controls and a glitchy rope, several crashes and cursor corruption make this game that was *supposed* to be chill actually a painful, annoying, stressful experience. Each person finds their own thing relaxing, but I would most certainly not call this that.

Un jeu qui porte bien son nom !
Musique et ambiance effectivement zen, c'est un titre idéal pour se détendre, mais qui se corse un peu si l'on cherche à finir chaque niveau à 100%. Cependant, nul besoin de tout terminer à 100% pour finir le jeu. C'est donc plutôt bien amené, chacun peut jouer à [i]Zen Bound 2[/i] comme il l'entend, en pure détente, ou bien avec un peu plus de challenge en cherchant à décrocher tous les succès.
Le jeu offre de nombreux niveaux disséminés à travers une dizaine d'arbres possédant chacun un thème propre. La complexité des niveaux est variable, mais rien n'est insurmontable.
Un concept simple mais bien pensé, et surtout bien mis en œuvre, que ce soit par la conception des nombreuses figures du jeu ou encore sa maniabilité. Réflexion et détente sont au rendez-vous.

Игра задумывалась я так понимаю, как расслабляющая, после напряженного дня. Не зря у нее в названии указан Zen. В итоге получилась не расслабляющая, а наоборот, раздражающая и испытывающая нервы, потому что веревка, которой вы обвязываете, постоянно спадает, и зачастую "чудесным" образом, там где она держаться крепко. Это происходит постоянно, поэтому, чтобы сберечь себе нервы, не стоит покупать.

If you're opting to 100% this game, you are in a for a world of hurt. It's the Dark Souls of wrapping-rope-around-wood-figurine puzzle games. While it was obviously tailored for a touch-based experience, using the mouse is still intuitive and it plays well. It's a great zen game if you don't care about completion, but it does quite the opposite if you do. If you love spatial thinking, you will love this game.

Ich habe [b]ZenBound²[/b] im Angebot für 99ct erhalten und würde es auch für den Normalpreis von 4.99€ jederzeit wieder kaufen. Kosten-Nutzen haben sich eindeutig ausgezahlt.

Das Spiel ist für Anfänger geeignet, da es simpel und intuitiv ist. Auch Fortgeschrittene Spieler mit höherem Anspruch kommen auf ihre Kosten, denn man kann noch während des Spiels die Schwierigkeit individuell gestallten indem man überlegt wie viel % man vom Ziel erreichen möchte.

Ich bewerte in den Kathegorien:
- Spielart (Künstlerischer Wert)
- Hier und Jetzt (Achtsamkeit, Entspannung, Meditation)
- Wiederspielwert
- User Ability (Steuerung, Menü, Interface, Intuitivität)

Das Spiel hat klar einen künstlerischen Wert, ist schön gestaltet, hat einen angenehmen Soundtrack der gute Atmosphäre schafft und ist vom Konzept her innovativ. Insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass es das Spiel seit 10 Jahren gibt.

Ja, das Spiel entspannt und fördert die Achtsamkeit, wenn man es richtig spielt. Meditative Aspekte... aus Buddhistischer Sicht eher nicht, die ich mir auch erlaube, da das Spiel schon "Zen" im Namen trägt und die Assotiation selber herstellt.

[b]Wiederspielwert 4/5[/b]

Für mich ein sehr hoher Wiederspielwert. Ich habe einige Figuren immer wieder gelöst um mich zu verbessern und um meine Videos aufzunehmen und es ist mir nicht langweilig geworden. Man kann es sehr gut zwischendurch spielen, auch mal für 10 Minuten oder ein halbes Stündchen.

[b]User Ability 2/5[/b]

Hier muss ich negatives sagen. Die Steuerung mit der Maus war nicht optimal, man merkt, dass es für Touchscreens entwickelt wurde. Das Menü war simpel - zu simpel - denn im Grunde hat man nur 4 Einstellungsmöglichkeiten: Vollbild/Fenster, Qualität Hoch/Niedrig. Ton-Effekte An/Aus. Musik An/Aus. Es gab keine Möglichkeit der Soundskalierung.

Ich gebe dennoch 2 Punkte, denn mit dem richtigen Gerät wird das alles wohl funktionieren. Ich habe auch von anderen Spielern gelesen, dass es hilft ein Gamepad, statt der Maus zu nutzen.

This game is excruciatingly repetitive. Moreover, the concept of treading the rope all across a dummy wooden figurine is not really a puzzle. Ropes are needed to be entwined to a nail in the end. What sort of concept this is ? It isn't exciting at all and extremely slow. Better learn to interwove the thread in a needle but this is way off the grounds from anything challenging and intriguing.

This is one of those rare games I enjoy equally on the PC and mobile. Zen Bound 2 is a puzzle game that takes the form of winding a rope around wood carvings while trying to maximize the surface area of the sculpture in direct contact with the rope. The rope is constantly under tension, and you interact by rotating the sculpture so the rope winds around it. As the levels get more difficult, there is a progression of changes in the gameplay that offer lots of variety and replayability. There is a lot of winding and unwinding and trying to figure out how to eke out that last 2% completion you need to unlock the next stage. There's no timer, no one to compete against, just the rope, the sculpture, the music, and your mouse. It's delightfully minimalist without being lo-fi, calm and unhurried, and easy to pick up and put down for as little or as long as you like. The music is chill, unobtrusive, suitable for the type of puzzle game it is. It is really a unique puzzle game and I don't think I've seen anything like it since, and this game has been around quite a long time! This is a great game to take turns playing locally in groups of 2 or more and is a fun thing to have on in the background during gatherings. Absolutely worth a full-price purchase if you're a fan of novel puzzle games, casual games, minimalist design, or bondage.

Got fond memories of this game, it was one of the first ones I played, all the way back in 2014 I believe. It's a sort of neat little puzzle game, you rotate an object tied to a rope, and the rope paints the area it touches. Unique concept, and it's pretty relaxing to just tie a little statue with a strand to color it. Check it out if you like puzzle games.

Inviting and approachable, Zend Bound 2 will suck you in. Its lavish but not overstated. Pop, spin and twist a rope around a series of themed, shaped wooden pieces. Its all good. The colours are tranquil while the animations are fluid. The music is excellent, something I find rare in video games. The ambient, downtempo and jazz tunes suit the relaxed mood, but that is not to say you can't get frustrated.

Levels are assessed by several lines of progression or trees that are adorned with lanterns and timber trinkets. Higher levels are hard with the slack in the rope eventually become an awful stiff yank all too often. Achieving three stars for some levels will be difficult.

This game scales up to high resolution well. 8/10

Ironically for a game with Zen in the title, I have never once felt "zen" while playing Zen Bound 2. The core gameplay loop is built on frustration, which is made worse if your the type of person who hunts achievements. Getting 100% in every level is mandatory for all achievements, and doing it is genuinely rage-inducing; so much so that I personally have quit twice while attempting it. Clunky controls don't lend well to the gameplay style, and the game doesn't even have support for touch screen controls, rendering a much better alternative for controls out of the question. Good concept. Not a good use of your time.

젠 바운드 2

3차원 조형물을 밧줄로 묶어서 색칠하는 퍼즐 게임.
밧줄이 조형물에 닿거나, 밧줄이 핀에 닿는 등, 하면 색칠이 됨.
마우스로 조형물을 이리저리 돌려서 묶이게 함.
밧줄이 너무 겹치거나 너무 길어지지 않게 주의해야 함.
밧줄이 조형물에 닿는다고 붙어버리는 것이 아니라 조이기 때문에,
조형물에 묶이거나 닿는 게 논리적으로 맞아야 함.

게임 난이도가 엄청 높진 않지만, 그렇다고 쉬운 것도 아님.
퍼즐적인 관점에서는 어느 부분을 먼저 색칠할지 어렵기도 하지만,
컨트롤이 빡세서 힘든 것도 큰 듯.

전체 화면으로 하면 화면이 잘리는 버그가 있는 듯.
구글링해도 해결법이 제대로 안 나오고...
나는 창모드로 해야 정상적으로 플레이 할 수 있었음.

어쨌든 퍼즐 자체도 참신하고, 꽤나 할만함.
(출시된지 9년 되었기는 하지만...)
특정 부분에서는 컨트롤이 어려워서 스트레스 받는 점만 빼면 재밌음.
VR로 나와서 밧줄을 직접 조작할 수 있으면 더 재밌을 듯.

In this game you wrap 3d objects with a rope of limited length. The more area you cover the better. It's a very simple game but very enjoyable. Visuals and audio are both pleasing. Honestly, it's something I keep coming back to for couple of minutes at a time when I feel both lazy and like doing something at the same time. (Great solo filler for LAN parties too.)

If you're already reading the reviews for this game, I think you'll like it.

Zen Bound 2 is a relaxing puzzle game where you use a set amount of rope to cover the surface of a variety of objects. Paint is laid out where the rope makes contact with the surface and the player aims to cover as much of the object in paint as possible. There is quite a lot of strategy in trying to 100% a level considering the constraints. It may be frustrating or stressful for some if aiming for perfection or due to running into some glitching of the physics or difficulty with the controls. Otherwise, the game offers a good challenge along with pleasant visuals and a smooth soundtrack.
