I enjoyed all the different themed towns in this one. I also loved collecting all the different types of animals from each region. It's a definite recommend from me.
game is fun enough well worth the time and money but i do have a few issues
1. the fast travel stones NEED signs to mark were they go
2. the tree plots need some kinda marker or detector running around a entire region for hours looking for that 1 you missed is hell
3. the cat quest is very much the same problem as the tree plots no way to locate them end up spending hours just running around a region HOPEING to see 1
4. stone crafting is pain makeing bridegs outa stone was hell
5. WHY CANT I MAKE NORMAL WOOD PLANKS!!!
6. the farms output chest could use more space....
Хорошая, расслабляющая игра с короткими основными квестами, но куча побочных которые добавляют живности острову. Отдельное спасибо за персонажа Вайолет благодаря которому я переосмыслил подход к шуткам. Легкие колектеболсы в виде пузатых котакбасов и классных феечек. Жаль что не популярна и на все ру комьюнити 3 гайда где каждый из них не содержал в себе половины инфы и приходилось скитаться с одного гайда к другому (в том числе и китайским)
I saw this on sale and jumped on the really low price. Mistake! I spent the start of the game constantly trying to adjust the setting so the camera wouldn't swing me all over the place. Too late, I got dizzy and developed a headache. I turned down the camera sensitivity as low as it would go, and it still makes me dizzy. No other game has done that.
The game seems washed out to me and the characters look plastic. Apparently, you can't sleep in the game, so if it's night time, you just continue on. I don't like playing in the dark. I like sunshine. I'm going to try to hang in there, but I don't know. I don't like this game at all.
A relaxing exploration game this is pretty light on story and gives you decent sized world to explore and things to loot. Unfortunately the exploration doesn't really have any threats as there is no combat in the game. Instead youre just trying to complete quests that send you all over the world. Some quests do require buying stuff from shops and thats where the economy of this game comes in. Everything sells, and some stuff sells for more but you can't stockpile money. Instead what you do is trade by equaling out what the price is. Its an ok system as the backpack you have does allow you to carry a lot of stuff with you. As these games go, any fruit from your farm or animal products will sell well. Youll also get customization drops from chests and quests, which is alright for people that like that, but it left me wanting more. I would have preferred a system where clothes gave me skills like more speed or a higher jump. Because the world is big, getting from one area to another takes some time. There are little teleport areas, but i still think the game would be better with a fast travel system to towns as thats where the quests are. The map isn't the best at conveying how to get to some places as there are lots of hills and small paths that you have to use to get to certain spots of the map. Ive got 8 hours and I don't think theres that much more to the game, so although the exploration is fun, the town building system feels underutilized and the story is bland.
A fun casual game.
I really wanted to like this game, but it's held back by tedious crafting, pointless farms, bad navigation, and a broken quest giver that shows up in multiple parts of the map.

좋게 말하면 독특한.. 캐릭터만 이겨낸다면 갓겜.
뭐가 그렇게 재밌냐 하면 그건 딱히 없어서 설명 못하지만
어차피 내가 즐겁자고 하는거니까.
장점: 진정한 힐링과 모험 게임
최대단점: 미쳤나 싶은 고양이 찾기
Visually the game is nice but it seems unfinished and poorly paced. There is no reason to craft 90% of the items in the game as you can just grow potatoes and trade them for any items you may need from vendors and the main quest can be completed without interacting with most of the world.
Other games balance this by giving you the ability to build interesting bases but the building is so limited here that it doesn't make you want to actually go through the hassle of unlocking any of the decor items. Overall, a game of wasted potential where there's a 10 hour build up to nothing and then it's over, but if you just want something to mindlessly play for 10 hrs then it's ok I guess.

전체적으로 시스템 자체가 빈약.
퀘스트는 제목이 곧 설명으로 불친절하고 나침반은 그저 퀘스트 npc 위치만 알려준다.
간혹 퀘스트 범위 지역을 표시해주는데 신뢰도는 낮다. 지역 다 뒤저도 퀘스트 목표가 없어서 포기.
장비 교체가 좌우 방식으로 귀찮고 장비외 여러 아이템도 포함되는데 왜 포함되어 있는지 모르겠고 덕분에 장비와 물품 교체에 수고가 많다.
낮과 밤의 주기가 너무 짧아서 좀만 뭐하다보면 너무 어두워 불편하고 잠자기도 존재하지 않는다.
전투가 없어서 나름 탐험하는 힐링 감성이 존재.
맵마다 고양이 수집과 나무 심기 수행 과제가 존재해서 이런 거 좋아하면 할만함.
난 시스템적인 문제로 사소한 퀘스트가 막혀서 여기서 그만 둠.
나처럼 사소한 디테일에 신경쓰는 사람에겐 비추.

Open-world, discovering, collecting, relaxing & casual - This is exactly the type of game I've been searching for! I love how open the world is. You can spend hours just exploring all the different regions and looking at all the different flora and fauna. There are also just enough tasks to keep you busy, if you so chose to pursue them, but only a handful are actually necessary to progress in the game (which means accessing new areas). There is a farming aspect but once again is more of a "if you want to" type thing, with much of the game play just being focused on forging, collecting, and discovering.

I have to grudgingly give this game a thumbs down. I quite liked the developer's other game "Grow: Song of the Evertree", but this one was developed first and it shows. This game was good enough for me to beat it, but there are too many issues. It does have nice graphics and some cute animals, but too many things bugged me:
- I had almost beaten the game by the time I found out there's an item you can craft cheaply that'll let you teleport to any farm
- You can't sleep, in your farms or elsewhere. So if you'd rather wait until day when it's light, too bad
- There's a woman in every town who appears to have a quest for you, but does not. I have no idea what her purpose is.
- The spirit stones act as a second mode of fast travel, but they're almost exclusively placed out of the way, being either hard to get to or not near towns/other place you'll want to go to.
- One of the main goals is to clear the murk, which requires sprites. Unlike what you'd expect (the farther you progress the more sprites you need) it's more or less random.
- You'll get to points in the story where you don't have enough sprites to clear murk to get to a story objective. There's not much for you to do at this point than wonder around the map until you find more sprites.
- Farms seem a bit pointless. Their main purpose seems to be to generate resources for you, which to be fair you need a lot of, but they're a pain to set up.
- If you don't set up the right farms, you'll find yourself doing a lot of grinding, especially for stone. I didn't even know that was something animals could generate until I looked it up now after beating the game.
- I did like the trade system, but it became annoying after a while trying to get the right combination of stuff to sell to add up to what I bought. I frequently ended up overpaying because I couldn't be bothered. It also didn't always make sense that merchants would be willing to buy what I was trading them.
- There are a few completionist type things (collecting cats, planting all of the trees) that are unrealistic to complete without a guide
- There are a lot of places to plant trees, but as far as I can tell you can only buy tree seeds, there's no other way to get them. Not all merchants have them, and those that do often don't have many.
Overall I can understand why people would enjoy this game. It's a good one to turn your brain off and listen to an audiobook or something. However, with a better tutorial and some more thought I think it could have been much better.
Verdict: 6/10
I want an option of not bad or good but... inbetween. It's cute. The graphics are pretty. It's a simple, engaging game. But the gameplay is really not well thought out. Quests constantly prioritising over each other. Using the compass meaning the whole character stops. Crafting is a grind of making low level stuff to make higher level suff. Navigating is incredibly bad. I got this game cheap and I'll get my money's worth from it, but unless it's pretty cheap, I really wouldn't get this. There are other games do similar, better.

Extremely fun. I like finding the sprites and cats the most. There's tons to do in this game. The music is awesome and it's easy to play.

It's okay but not really much to do once you've finished the quests. Only recommend if on sale.

great game during about 3 hours at maximum (more like 1h 30 though), then it feels like a lonely sanbox platform.
As someone else wrote it best: 'it's so aimless that nothing feels important'.
THere is no reason to do anything after you did everything once and mastered it.
Nothing has a difficulty curve and there isn't so much to do; NPC are more decoratinve than characters: you don't have follower or romance, most of the world is empty save for monster.
The story is vague and simple, but ok.
The graphics are super cute..
I could use a DLC with unique characters that are lively and interactive (followers, works, bards, whatever),
or one to get to use creatures as mounts, or vehicles to go faster without teleporting which repeatedly spoils the flow..
Buy it under 10.
absolutely awful, boring quests and no story
不思議な魅力のあるゲームです。傑作！とは言えないのですが、なんだかずっとブラブラしてしまいます。

・きれいな景色の中を歩き回るのが好き
・いろんなバイオームや季節ごとに変わるマップを楽しみたい
・石を拾ったり草をむしったりするのが好き
レビュー時点で30時間も遊んでいるので間違いなく楽しいのですが、何が楽しいのかと聞かれると答えに困るゲームです。というのもこのゲーム、一見するとファンタジーアドベンチャー＆牧場経営シミュレーションゲームのように見えるのですが、
・バトル一切なし
・パズル要素なし
・牧場経営要素（ほぼ）なし
という内容なのです。ストーリーも「仲間と出会い交流しながら謎を紐解いていく…」というよりは「行けない場所へ行けるようにがんばる」という感じのぼんやりしたものです。キャラクターや動物も特別かわいいわけでもなく（やや不気味の谷に差し掛かっている）、イメージイラストに描かれたうたたねをする少年のようなビジュアルのキャラクターは残念ながらいません。
と、ネガティブ寄りな注意点がいくつもあるのですが、とにかく先述の3点に当てはまる方はゆるゆるだらだらとハマってしまうこと請け合いです。これから後継作？のGrow: Song of the Evertreeもプレイするつもりです。楽しみすぎる！
Es hätte ein echt cooles Spiel sein können, wenn nicht alles so unnötig in die Länge gezogen worden wäre... Nach einer Weile macht es einfach keinen Spaß mehr, ewig verblödet in der halbleeren Spielwelt herumzurennen für irgendwelche Kleinigkeiten, die man zum Herstellen braucht. Ich hatte mehr erwartet...
Apesar de o jogo ter uma direção de arte interessante, achei a jogabilidade muito chata.
Pelo que pude experimentar, o jogo está repleto das famigeradas "fetch quests" onde alguns NPCs requerem que o jogador forneça materiais específicos a eles. No entanto, o jogo não deixa muito claro onde obter cada tipo de material, tornando isso um exercício de tentativa e erro.
Os materiais coletáveis no mapa estão dispersos e sem muita coesão contextual de onde eles poderiam/deveriam estar. Isso tira qualquer senso de propósito e motivação para continuar jogando.
Yonder is an absolutely beautiful game, and I’ve been playing it since I was 7 years old. I introduced it to my cousin, and we used to play together when we were kids. Later, I switched to Xbox and couldn’t play it for years until I found out it was available on Steam. I bought it right away and have been playing it a lot since. The only issue I have with this game is that the missions aren’t very friendly for people with learning disorders or autism. For me personally, the missions often don’t make much sense and require extra, complicated steps to complete. That’s one of the reasons I’ve slowly started to stop playing. Still, it’s such a beautiful and nostalgic game for me. It’s one I’ll remember for the rest of my life because it genuinely helped shape my childhood. I love all of its mechanics. you can fish, feed animals, decorate areas, clear murk, and explore freely. It even reminds me a little of Genshin Impact. It’s a great game for kids and also perfect for relaxing after a long day. I love the sunsets and the scenery, which are absolutely stunning, and there are so many places to explore. You can customize your character, collect items and plants, mine stone, cut trees, and grow things. It’s amazing, and I highly recommend it. I just wish it had a multiplayer option.
I'm not sure why this game isn't more popular. It's one of my favorites. I'd say to grab it on sale, and give it a shot if you like cozy vibes and adventure in a beautiful world. The graphics really are great and I love that the world is minimal. It doesn't overstimulate or complicate gameplay.

Я остался в лютом восторге и влюбился в эту игру! Безусловно, это одна из лучших ферм, что я видел. Прекрасное сочетание фермы и приключения. Максимально комфортная игра с полной свободой действий. Я просто пройдусь по пунктам.
- Потрясающая минималистичная графика и атмосфера. Игра замечательно выглядит и отлично звучит.
- Реально большой и разнообразный постепенно открывающийся открытый мир, который интересно изучать и находить всюду раскиданные секретики.
- Куча лута и ресурсов. В том числе большое разнообразие предметов кастомизации.
- Прикольные квесты и единый сюжет.
- Классная реализация рыбалки, крайне залипательно.
- Необычная механика строительства ферм, расположенных в разных биомах.
- Есть локации с простенькими загадками и записками.
- Милейшие необычные животные, которых можно приводить и селить на фермах.
- Есть прокачивание навыков персонажа в разных ремёслах, что позволяет открывать новые рецепты.
- Очаровательные коллектоболсы в виде нескольких видов котиков, обитающих в разных биомах. Они мурчат, когда ты находишься рядом, это такая милота. Ну и конечно вам нужно будет собирать фей, которые нужны для рассеивания мрака и открытия новых локаций.
- Меняющаяся погода и времена года.
- Это ещё не всё, но я устану описывать все прекрасные стороны игры)
ГЛАВНОЕ - это максимально расслабляющая игра. Здесь нет ни энергии, ни потребностей в еде, воде и сне, ни урона, ни насилия и сражений, а также практически бесконечный огромный инвентарь. В этой игре невозможно проиграть или сделать что-то не так, тут полный комфорт. И тебя никто не вынуждает делать что-то определённое, ты играешь так, как именно тебе хочется. Можешь просто изучать мир, можешь просто обустраивать фермы и ухаживать за животными, можешь просто добывать ресурсы или рыбачить, можешь просто проходить квесты или прямо двигаться по сюжету, и так далее. Есть небольшой минус в виде не всегда удачного перевода на русский и не самого приятного шрифта русского текста, но это никак не портит впечатление от игры. Эта игра - идеальный пример фермы-приключения. Да она ещё и стоит всего 449р - это настоящий подарок! Берите однозначно, я настаиваю!
I don't recommend this, because most of the time this game is a walking simulator with not great rewards for your efforts.
I did enjoy the characters and scene - but there has to be more than just walking all over the place for a majority of the game play, or at least make the rewards worth the effort.

Leuk spel maar soms ook erg moeilijk
Alapjáraton egy nagyon aranyos játék volt egy ötletes történettel, viszont az évszakok változása eléggé megnehezítette az achik megszerzését :'D Egy jó tanács ha valaki el akarja kezdeni a jövőben, van egy hal, ami csak vihar idején jelenik meg és viharos időjárás nagyon ritkán van (nyár végén vagy ősz elején). Ha akkor lemaradsz, akkor várni kell egy játékbeli évet.

So what Steffi and i have had in common are beautifull Landscapes or Worlds.
In YONDERs World Gemea you will found enough of it.
Gemea is an Island hidden behind Clouds.
Absolutly Peacefull.
In the Beginning you can create your Hero and start your Journey on a Ship on your Way to Gemea.
Of course, it will happen as it must. A Storm crashes your Ship and you are stranded on the Island.
But don´t worry. This is the Beginning of a wonderfull Adventure.

And the best Thing of it all, you can do it without Pressure, without Time Limit, without Penaltys.
The Game is so peacefull, there is no Combat.

Even if you fall from a higher Position, your Hero is taking out an Umbrella and you slowly fly to the Ground.
Unharmed.
YONDER is a totally chilling and wonderfull Game.
With nice Graphics and wonderfull Sounds and Musics.
A Place you want to go back after leaving it.

I really want to like this game, it has potential and the idea is good, but as many times as I tried I just cant enjoy it. The game is sooooooo boring and I just cant find anything to hook myself to the game. It's a shame really but yeah. If you like boring games then guess its for you, but youll find more interesting games elsewhere

I think this game is nice! It can get a bit tedious, especially since you can bulldoze through the main story by accident, but it's cute and enjoyable.

ou : les Débuts Prometteurs [/h1]
Yonder est un jeu important pour "Prideful Sloth", car étant leur premier jeu, le studio y a mis ses idées, sa vision de ce qu’est un bon jeu vidéo, et s’est aussi un peu cassé les dents sur certains points (il y a carrément une zone de la map consacrée aux trolls d’Internet quand même).
Ce qui en ressort, c’est un open world (assez petit mais bien fourni), sans combat et sans moyen de mourir. Le but est de sauver l’île en effectuant plusieurs quêtes, mais surtout de découvrir ce monde nouveau.
Et clairement, l’île est vraiment sympathique à visiter. Il y a plusieurs régions assez différentes entre elles, avec une faune propre à chacune.
Il y a plusieurs activités à faire : pêche (que j’ai vraiment appréciée d’ailleurs), création de ressources, collecte en tout genre (minerais, bois, pierre…) et même gérer une ferme — bien que je trouve que tout est un peu trop simpliste en général…
Vous l’avez compris, le jeu s’adresse clairement à un public dit casual, ce qui en fait un jeu agréable à lancer 20 minutes après une grosse journée bien chargée, pour se vider l’esprit. Ce qui est aidé par une musique vraiment agréable et relaxante.
Mais Yonder ose quand même deux choses :
– Premièrement, un système de saisons avec des fêtes liées à chaque saison, et certains objectifs ou animaux qui n’apparaissent que pendant des périodes précises.
– Et SURTOUT : aucun système monétaire sur l’île. Tout fonctionne exclusivement par troc, ce qui est assez intéressant pour être souligné.
J’ai, pour ma part, passé un agréable moment à vadrouiller dans les terres de Yonder, et je vous recommande ce jeu si vous cherchez une activité détente.

the perfect cozy game with amazing world building and beautiful design
I don't know how to explain it, but this became a nice little comfort game for me. I could get lost in exploration, listen to the GREAT music, and just enjoy the visuals. There is an underlining story, but it's not that big to the whole grand scheme of the game and can be completed quickly. Everything else in the game is mostly just the enjoyment of helping to improve each region, and the island as a whole.
If you're someone who starts a game and hates the feeling of being put into the world, left to figure things out yourself, this won't be for you. It's the kind of game where you have to enjoy exploration and item collection, otherwise, you'll likely get kind of irritated with it. The movement is bad- do not use a keyboard, it feels so much better on controller. I also was left toggling with the visuals a lot; night time(which feels longer than the days.) is too dark, I would up the gamma during night, then during the day I had to lower it.
Also, do yourself a favor and turn off the bloom, it looks terrible.
If you're someone who's obsessed with achievements you will have to go into the community page and find the guides. I'm sure after spending a while on it you can figure things out by yourself, but I had no interest in wasting that much time. There is fast travel in the game, but it's not great, and the fast travel points are pretty spread out/not close to places you find yourself having to check out a lot. Lastly, there is no time-skip system, so, again, if you care about achievements maybe you'll want to plan out the achievements as you're playing through everything, otherwise you'll be left waiting for seasons/times to come around again.
This game is very calming and i am working thru 100% it. Plot is simple and enjoyable, nothing crazy.

Yonder é uma aventura descompromissada e simples, muito mais infantil do que eu esperava.
O jogo não tem desafios, sendo que não há combate e nem formas de morrer (Não há dungeons). Você apenas explora o mundo e resolve algumas quests simples em busca dos sprites perdidos e desvenda a história daquele mundo que você está. É possível ter sua fazendinha em vários biomas e cultivar ou ter criação, mas é uma coisa muito básica, não espere por um jogo como Stardew Valley, porque não chega nem perto.
No final das contas, Yonder é um joguinho legal. Bom para passar o tempo e divertido até certo ponto. Zerei com um pouco mais de 15 horas e o jogo oferece mais missões após a finalização, mas eu não me senti motivado a continuar. Talvez algumas pessoas que curtem Cozzy Games goste da proposta do jogo, mas honestamente eu não achei que ele oferece conteúdo suficiente para passar centenas de horas jogando, e a mecânica fazendinha é muito básica, tanto que nem senti motivação para fazer.
Para quem tiver interesse, aguarde uma promoção na casa dos 9 reais. Acima disso, para quem curte gêneros estilo Cozzy, compensa mais pegar Stardew Valley.

There's a difference between "cozy" and "aimless." After you do the initial quests (basically after you get your first farm going), the game literally retreats from you. Now I'm just supposed to wander around, I guess? The sailor quest is obnoxiously vague, and it's far too easy to confuse yourself. If this game were a bit firmer in its guidance, it'd be a lot better. But it's so aimless that nothing feels important. Is it a good thing that I got a Sprig-Pig for my farm? Who knows? Am I wasting my time gathering wood? Who cares?
Everything is so chill that nothing matters. You're just wandering around doing whatever you want, and not even the time or weather matters beyond finding special cats in the fields. It's even too relaxed for children to play, because they'll get lost and confused before you even get to the first village.
I'm not arguing for guard rails; I'm arguing for the game to treat something, *anything,* like it's important. Even the big sprite lady who gives you the main quest to find sprites....I, for whatever reason, don't care about her and her lost family. Probably because everyone is smiling and relaxing and, even after a shipwreck and destroyed dock, are going about their life like nothing matters.

游戏开始时你出现在一条船上穿越重重迷雾找寻传说中的岛屿潘达利亚[大雾]，说时迟那时快一道雷劈下来把你的船轰成了一堆渣渣，醒来之后发现一个巨大的青岛啤酒瓶站在你面前【那个高大而又诡异的棍状物真的像个啤酒瓶，我真没有乱说】，没错这就是这片岛屿的守护者，守护者告诉你你的船员都很安全，但是这个岛屿被一种DARK♂势力笼罩，然后balabal开始愉快的惩奸除恶之旅，然而实际上这游戏里并没有怪物，所谓的黑暗势力只是岛上某地被一团紫雾笼罩,只是一种停留在哲学层面的产物，无法用文字表述他的形态，之后你要集齐七个小精灵，小精灵施法时如同尬舞天女，紫色的DARK♂势力伴随一阵哀嚎就被铲除了，看起来似乎很弱智，然而实质上是啤酒瓶为代表的光明阵营和DARK♂势力旷日持久的斗争背后的本质解释，他的引申含义非常深奥，抱歉我不能说更多。
游戏内没有怪物所以也就没有战斗系统，没有联机，没有货币系统，没有生存元素，暂时没中文但是官方说会添加。扯这么多回归正题简单阐述下玩法，那就是非常休闲，这个岛上的人都得了一种怪病，不能干活，隔壁老王家牛丢了让你去找，李四家船烂了个窟窿让你去修，张寡妇生理太旺盛找你止痒。建造农场，修桥种树，钓鱼贸易 ，麻雀虽小五脏俱全。
Cozy game with some major flaws, so this is more of a neutral review. The cuteness of the world and the relaxing vibe were real nice but the game made me groan with frustration still, because of the following reasons:
- You cannot sleep or rest, you are forced to play during night. As your vision is heavily restricted during this time, it's pretty wasted to run around as you have to check all the areas again during daylight to see if you missed something. That's an absolute NO-GO for a game that wants you to collect and 100 % all the areas. So I'm sitting at 99 % finished areas because I'm missing one tiny thing I couldn't see during the night. 50 % of your playtime is nighttime and then there is also rain and thunderstorms with reduced vision during daytime. This point made me dread my playtime the longer I played.
- What made me scream at my pc multiple times however, was the extremely peculiar character movement. You will fall off cliffs and "die" in water countless times. On top of that, you can only ever walk the map, there are no other transportation methods. You will get very lackluster and restricted fast travel as you progress. The also not so fun part? The map is extremely devided, so you can barely go from one point to another in a straight line. Sometimes you have to walk around cliffs for ages to finally get to the point you are supposed to be. I'm fine with relaxed and cozy, but I'm not fine with wasting my time like this.
- Achievements, quests and other objectives are often linked to certain seasons and times of the day. I'm usually an achievement hunter, but I won't 100 % this game because I just missed summer and I'm not letting my pc run for countless hours just to be able to finish my collection. Again, you can't fast forward the time in this game with resting.
- Almost forgot to add: The audio of certain animals can get extremely annoying, for example the Woffles and some sea birds. It's an endless screaming loop you can't stop other than leaving the area. It made me real uncomfortable many times.
Sooo if you can live with these points and just want a violence free exploration and farming experience, you can give the game a try. If you want some fast gameplay and bunch of qol, you better check out other games.
Pretty fun game, its spunk is what i personally like about it. BUT, i'm not too fond of the story and gameplay. The story feels a little lacklustre and the characters are not too well developed. The gameplay feels like there was potential but it was unfinished.

very relaxing game
Cute and cozy game, although it mostly boils down to lots (and I mean LOTS) of walking and fetch quests. The main storyline is simple, but I find it enjoyable nonetheless; side quests are more interesting in my opinion. Generally it's a great game if you want to chill out and unwind.
This game is an extremely cosy, relaxing and fairly simple game to play. The world is quite pretty, it gives off something similar to Wii games of years passed. The graphics are comforting in much the same way. It took me around 20 hours to complete the main story line, which is the perfect length for this type of game, in my opinion. There are many, many little secret spots dotted around the map. I don't yet believe I've found them all. Most of the quests are engaging and fairly simple to follow through with, though some may be inherently mundane just based off the type of quest they are. This game would be excellent for all ages. It is not scary, not violent, and there is no spoken-word dialogue between characters. Replayability is good, though there isn't really much variation to how the game ends if you choose to play through again. Prideful Sloth did spectacular on this game.

Man rennt nur durch die Gegend. Es fühlt sich tot an und das Gameplay ist kompliziert ohne Ende. Ich habe es in den letzten Jahren 3x installiert und nach 15min wieder deinstalliert und jetzt bleibt es das auch.

Первое, что хотелось бы отметить: если обратиться к отрицательным отзывам игры, можно найти много упоминаний о том, что игра спустя пол часа игры вызывает дискомфорт и головокружение Так и есть, но, как оказалось, проблема решаема: нужно выкрутить в нуль (или почти в нуль) свечение и немного отредактировать гамму в минус, но чтобы было комфортно играть в ночное время суток в игре - тогда все симптомы уходят.
Игра про.. ну честно говоря, игра больше из концепта "Принеси-подай". Не особо напряжная, хотя иногда возникают некоторые затупы разряда "и что я теперь должен делать?", но это больше касается первых часов игры. Бегаешь по цветастым локациям, собираешь палки-копалки-камушки-цветочки, выполняешь квесты, очищаешь мир от Мрака, [strike]радуешься, как дурачок, что потратил на это 17 часов игры[/strike], и, в целом, это весь геймплей.
Есть один сезонный фестиваль с всякими плюшками - одежда оттуда выглядит мило - спору нет. Милые котики, которые, правда. когда узнаёшь, для чего и сколько их нужно найти - удручает. Милые зверушки, красочный, открытый для исследования мир - плюс. Но порой кажется, что даже слишком "открытый" - 30%, если не 50% времени это беготня туда-сюда. Телепорты не расположены прямо в городах - либо бежать от фермы, либо от тотемов, которые также не сказать, что находятся близко.
Фермы есть, но толку от них не много - петы дают ресы, но что они могут давать - не совсем ясно, если не пользоваться вики. Так что представьте моё удивление, когда после завода кролика, он начал давать.. куриные яйца. Так что вещь весьма специфичная - разве что они нужны для телепортов. Но если решили обустроить - то просто заводите одного из селюков, закормив его чем-то вкусным, и он работает за вас бесплатно - убирает, доит, собирает и тд. Красота!
Большая претензия к квесту с котиками. Далее спойлеры: [spoiler]Сразу скажу, что котики очень милые, и их появление в городе в огромном клубке - милая деталь, которая не может не радовать. Но вот их разброс по миру.. ладно бы они просто были разбросаны по карте, но зачем делать привязку с их появлением к временам года? Тот факт, что определённые коты появляются только с 5 утра и до вечера, а другие только ночью в определённый сезон не особо способствует желанию их искать - вот этот момент самое душное, что было в игре. И не поймёшь, когда и где именно ловить котиков, не воспользовавшись вики. Благо, это побочный квест, который никто не мешает пропустить или выполнить после основной ветки квестов. Разработчики молодцы, постарались, но, как по мне, перемудрили[/spoiler]
Также к минусам можно отнести локализацию: русский язык есть, местами хорош, а местами это промтовый промт, в которым ты толком не понял, что тебе пытались сказать. И бывает, что проскакивают английские слова. Сезонный фестиваль так вообще не переведён.
Итог: если нравятся игры, где самое экшонове, что вы встретите - это мини-игра в рыбалку, то можно сыграть. Ну или можно дать поиграть детям, но с условием, что они могут прочитать и понять, что хотят от них в некоторых местах - там это, к сожалению, обязательно, так что совсем маленьким без помощи взрослых не обойтись.

This is a fun and charming game. I especially enjoyed the animal designs (absolutely adorable) and the trees (unique and distinctive). I finally stopped playing it because the inventory limit was stressing me out, and you can't just sell extra stuff for money, you always have to barter items for items. You can stash items in the chests at your farms, but then it becomes annoying to hop back there every time you find you're missing some kind of stick or rock that you need. Also, by the time I had explored most of the world, I wanted to be able to shift my focus from continuing to wander around to having great farms and making lots of stuff. No doubt some people want to escape all thoughts of capitalism in their cozy game, but personally I am the kind of player who finds it very satisfying to make lots of money 😂 So, ymmv. This isn't a genre of game I normally play, and no doubt for those who thrive on these games you will probably get more out of it.
The story is cute and fun. There's enough side content to keep things interesting. I'm also a sucker for cute and colorful. All of the hyper realistic styles only use dull pallets and it drives me nuts, too much gray. So having something bright and cheery is always fun to look at. I also enjoy the task system. I get distracted easily so when I forget what I'm working on it's nice to have something to refer to. It makes game play easier and fun.
This game is very janky. The keybindings aren't working. I can't open player menus and do my first set of crafting. And the wild swinging of the camera, even with the sensitivity at the absolute minimum settings, is nauseating. Asking Steam for a refund after 16 mins of dizzying attempts to play the game and inability to get settings fixed so the bare minimum game play can happen.

its basically just a fetching game, you fetch this, trade that, trade this again, thats basically all you do always run back and forth to get stuff.
sure you can farm materials on the way, and maybe build a few pens to get some animals, but they just autoprovide you with materials.
you dont do much farming in your farm at all.
all the quests and achievements are just fetchquests, forcing you to walk there and there, its annoying.
have to admit it is visually stunning tho especially on 4K.
I originally bought this game for the PS4 but never finished 100%ing it. Bought it again for Steam because I really enjoyed it and 100%ed it on Steam. Catching the Gigalev fish was genuinely difficult and required a fun blend of skill and luck. Other systems in the game are extremely simplified and rudimentary compared to other games in the genre, such as Story of Seasons or Stardew Valley. Most of the game's potential gameplay loops lacked depth and would have benefitted from being fleshed out. The story is virtually non-existent. However, I do recommend the game for people who are looking for a relaxing experience with pretty graphics. It's very calming to play and easily one of my comfort games that I can see myself coming back to.

A wonderful game full of adventure. There are changing times of day, different climate zones on the map and weather conditions, so that sometimes you walk through the rain and sometimes you explore the world in bright sunshine.
You can collect things without any time pressure and you are also offered a nice story.
Yonder, a beautiful game with a great atmosphere. Turn it on - sit back - relax.

Open world, non-violent, cute, very relaxing
It is a relaxing good time. It is like a G rated Breath of the Wild. It helped me through a very stressful time in my life a couple years ago by providing a chill world to escape into. I haven't played since and sadly I feel no pull to return. If you like mysterious little open worlds with low stress, character customization, homestead building etc then give it a go. You'll know before the 2 hour return window.
See these cute animals? You need to love them, feed them, and give them kisses... NOW BRING ME A PELT. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm on the fence with this one since it's a bit too easy and monotonous for adults, and might be too frustrating for kids. Maybe it's just not for me, but it's not a bad game overall. I've noticed some people recommending a guide - I would definitely advise against it unless you are twelve.
The good:
- cat purring sounds
- lots of small beautifiers like tiny penguins spawning during winter
- lighting
- diverse biomes
The bad:
- crafting, where you need to click 50 times to craft 50 items (and watch a small animation every time)
- animal pathfinding is the worst
- navigating the map - it's challenging (and not in a good way) to find a way to a certain spot on a map
- dying in the water and casually appearing on the shore gives me an eery feeling
- characters feel lifeless and their stories are uninteresting
- lots of fetch quests, no real challenges
- Teagin Gabardine's beard and mullet combo
Such a wonderful game that I, the parent, became addicted to it and played it thoroughly. It's a bit complex for younger kids, so I would recommend for 8+ at least, although my kid loved the captured pets at the farms. This game has a lot of content for the price, I recommend.

Heard great things, graphics on steam make it unplayable. Requested a refund outside the 2 week window (22 mins of game play into it) and was denied refund. It is unfortunate there is no support for these issues. Can't recommend it.
Eine großartige offene Spielwelt. Nur die Hauptquest ist etwas kurz geraten. Wobei ich diese Kritik in Anführungszeichen setzen würde. Das Spiel ist schlichtweg eine Sandbox und die Story kam mir hierbei eher als Vehikel vor, um die Spielwelt und Mechaniken im Schnelldurchlauf vorzustellen. Den meisten Spaß hat man vermutlich, wenn man Gemea im eigenen Tempo erkundet.
i love this cute and cosy game so much i cannot reccomend it enough i used to play it on playstation back in 2017 or 2018 ish and didnt realise it was on steam until recently and have been addicted to it since!! i wish it was a more popular game so there could be merch made like i would buy a groffle plushie or backpack so fast <3 also the amount of love and detail put in to this game is so cute like the hidden sign saying u cant be there i remeber finding it while sneaking over the wall lol and the hidden ufo too is so cute its proberly the only game i can grind and play non stop without getting bored, i just bought grow song of the evertree and im so exited to play that too !! much love to the creators and if ur thinking of getting this game do it its perfect -lilybun7024

This was just what I was looking for when it came to easy exploration game with tons of things to build and tasks to complete!
I've been curious about the game for a while now. With it being on sale, I finally decided to give it a try. It's been a nice experience so far. The graphics are nice, as is the music. There's no combat to my knowledge. It's simply a relaxing game to play. If I had to find something negative about the game. It would be the lackluster create a character in the beginning of the game. As well as not having a place to live in and decorate. But those are minor complaints. You can get a few cosmetics throughout the game. So that's something at least.
Cute game. I dont have much to say about it other than it being a nice and relaxing cozy game to play while listening to audiobooks or podcasts. Its not a deep experience, and dialogue is basic with a just as basic story, but I did enjoy building bridges, decorating my farms, fishing, planting trees and catching cats.
I think my only criticism is that there are a few features that are time specific, like season, weather or time/day/night that it leads to a lot of waiting around and doing nothing when wanting those things for completionism. There really is not much past the game mechanics and no reason to really continue engaging with them if you already have 30 stacks of everything and are just standing around or walking in circles waiting for the spawn of a specific thing.
In these periods, the only thing you really can do is go fishing and then trade fish for old coins or just dismiss a farm hand and stand around collecting poop or whatever. or collect mystery seeds, make a tree farm, farm for the tree seeds and try to make each biome have its biome specific tree. End game really was just me standing around and staring at my phone and checking the game time, ngl.

This game feels like it has an identity crisis.
At first glance, it's trying to be an exploration game, but there really isn't much to explore/ exploration isn't *fun*. The vistas are alright, but not breathtaking, which is honestly what can be said about most of the graphics. All of the towns feel exactly the same beyond selling a different type of resource. The sprites acting as collectibles have no personality and their designs are kinda lacking. There are no further tools for exploration to find (beyond fast travel connections) and the controls, which make you bounce back when jumping off a tilted surface, feel frustrating.
So, perhaps Yonder is trying to tell a wholesome little story to match? No, it isn't. Gather 3 things, repair the machine. Your past? A smidge of media literacy will tell you exactly what it is without playing the game.
Then there are hints of farming and an economy systems that feel randomly cluttered in. It could be interesting - trading between different towns as you wander about the island, but the system is so rudimentary and your farm, even without any effort put in, is an infinite money printer. I didn't have to genuinely engage with it once and even if I had really wanted to, there was nothing of value (decoration or progression) to buy. At least it saved me from crafting more - did I mention there was crafting? Crafted enough value to get the associated badge and never went back.
I keep wondering where the game is between waddling between fetch quests and even after finishing Yonder, I can't say I ever found it. A common defense that will be mounted for the game is: "But it's wholesome. Perhaps it just isn't for you." There are good, wholesome games out there, the tag shouldn't be a shield to all criticism.
I will relent one positive point: The lighting can be beautiful and is easily the best part when it hits just right, but that isn't enough to save Yonder.
So, unless you absolutely fell in love with the visuals and wanna meander through the world a little, don't purchase this game.
