А также это отвратительная игра в плане инструкций, которые игра тебе может дать. В момент пока у вас валюта принудительный труд, игру можно построить так, чтобы твоё поселение жило, процветало и уходило в профицит. То что нужно строить отдельные торговые палатки.. то что нужно уничтожать те, которые автоматически ставит тебе игра. В условиях где ты переходишь в экономику и начинается ♥♥♥♥♥♥, не получить рекомендаций - это жопа, и я не говорю о том, чтобы как-то догадаться выровнять экономику, нет... я говорю о банальных вещах вроде рассказать как работает трансфер, как работают заказы, как работают лавки, что случается если продавать переизбыток ресурсов...
Дать инструкции по поводу того, что было и будет.
Иными словами вы можете наиграть 80 часов онлайн, заходя подвигать фигурки два-три раза в день на сервере, и вся ваша цивилизация упадёт ЗА ДЕНЬ-ДВА только потому, что нет ни единой статьи на вики, как именно работают те или иные вещи (В моём случае переход на монеты). Мне лично удалось найти только общие рекомендации, а вот рассказа про поведения тех или иных окон и от чего могут прыгать цены и бюджет - нет. Почему в трансфере региональном из ресурсов только молотки... Почему профит зданий сильно упал с переходом на монеты, когда здание работает в дефицит себе же и я пытаюсь закупать животных в столице, но не могу из-за того что они банально не производятся больше в тех же объёмах...
Да банально на многих исследованиях в игре нет НИКАКОЙ инструкции. Металлы могут быть у других игроков и забрать что-то себе тупо невозможно, потому что в радиусе 1000 ёбаных миль, нет ничего для тебя и тебе приходится ждать, пока соседняя цивилизация падёт...
Также в экономической игре нет НИКАКИХ ♥♥♥♥ ГРАФИКОВ, кроме текущего состояния. Т.е. проследить когда именно случился ♥♥♥♥♥♥ и проследить закономерность в расходах, ценах, доступах - тупо нельзя, кроме как А ДОГАДАЙСЯ.
800 горшков из 800, которые я не могу продать, потому что их себе стоимость у меня упала до 0 и отправка их другим игрокам выходит в 0.
Если вам не жалко своего времени, можете неоднократно попробовать поиграть в игру, возможно в одну из попыток у вас всё будет достаточно хорошо, но на одну попытку в онлайне у меня ушло 80+ часов и почти два месяца реальной жизни, в которой я был привязан к пешкам.
И самое ♥♥♥♥♥ смешное, что отсутствие подобных инструкций и невозможность их просто найти на ютубе (потому что никто толком там не рискует своим поселением, а занимается летсплеем в моменте, что растягивается на час-два гемплея), существуют уже на протяжении по меньшей мере 4-6 лет и разработчик с этим не делает НИ ХУ Я... даже вики строиться на основе догадок с форумов...
So its a very unique and the game concept is very much up my alley i don't think there are many games on the same level as this when it comes to economics and resource management, and it's also fun when it works but i'd say 60-70% of the time it doesn't. if u want a deep management "grand" strategy game that is multiplayer and has a somewhat workable war system and is also real time then you can give this a try.
BUT i do not recommend it at its current state, game is buggy full of exploits crashes all the time, its very unbalanced and it is also very much abandoned at the moment as the dev has decided to "update" the engine and game, so if u do buy it don't expect much support or new features in terms of development u'll play it as it is for the time being until the new version is released.

I tried 2 games. Alle ended the same. I got wipped out by a 200+ warrior army but I cant hold barely a 20 pigman army! Wish I could get my money back and just trow it out of the window!

Але технічні рішення гри невдалі.
Система серверів з реальним часом. Тобто якщо ви бажаєте грати у соло, піднімайте власний сервер, хочете кооп з друзями піднімайте власний сервер, щоб регулювати швидкість плину часу.
Відсутність нормальною війни та битв також грає проти цієї.
Але концепт дуже цікавий. Іграм сервісам би повчитися.

Следил за игрой около года. Думал, что стоит дождаться полного релиза. Но душераздирающие истории о том, что разработчик в соло пилит игру уже 100 лет, буквально подтолкнули меня поддержать автора и купить игру уже сейчас.
Оказалось, что даже на текущий момент она может заинтересовать и увлечь необычными игровыми механиками. Но за несколько часов осваивания игры есть некоторые вещи, которые немного печалят:
1. Отсутствие графиков (тяжело в периодике понять уровень продакшна)
2. Отсутствие влияние трафика. Будто бы вообще нет смысла пытаться гармонично застраивать территорию...
3. Нельзя ограничить потребление того или иного ресурса выше, чем на 25%.
Возможно, все эти три пункта в течение игровой сессии решаются путем достижения новых технологий.
Но есть еще один пункт, с которым точно придется смириться. На 2К мониторе интерфейс выглядит мелковато. Попытки его увеличить путем внутриигрового ползунка люто шакалит картинку
Несмотря на это, хочется продолжить изучение этого свиномира, Потому что иначе мое первобытное племя свинолюдей не станет его хозяином. YMIR!
The game takes everything that you wanted those old MMORTS games to do and does it better. It is, however, a very niche genre, so not everyone's cup of tea.
O jogo parece muito promissor e complexo em diversas áreas, mas nada adianta se você não tiver a capacidade ou vontade de jogar Multiplayer.
Por mais que a página do jogo diga que há modo single player, ele é extremamente limitado. O que é muito triste. Cada aspecto desse jogo se demonstrou muito foda, mas não há bots, não há IA para se jogar com no Solo. Se você prefere jogar jogos de grande estratégia / 4x de forma offline ou solo, nem perca seu tempo, não compre.

Really good society building game it surely takes good effort to learn, and practice but good pace that it doesn't feel rushed.

Do you like seeing hours of work destroyed because you were unaware of the fact you were dumb? Yes? Well then this is the game for you! Very complicated, interconnected elements, games run for months (this game is pretty much multiplayer only, singleplayer isn't worth it) and while you take your tribe from the stone age to the iron age (steel age never happens unless you play on the forever server) you encounter a lot of very critical timepoints where wrong decisions can and will be the end for you. Very rewarding if you have patience and succeed. If you need any tips, join the discord community.

I like the game, don't get me wrong. but the totally random way the tech pops up, as well as the random food spawns in the starting zones. you get to about 200 pop and you start losing pop because you don't have the resources or tech researched (or even the knowledge of which tech you need for growth. Example: which tech allows you to keep your pop growing.) just makes the game unplayable as is right now.
only suggestion I can give is make the starting tech more likely to pop up in a use able order, but still random (IE. instead of it taking in game weeks or months, it takes in game days.

Edit2: After playing this game for quite a long time, all I can really think is just how little it ever reaches a point of feeling satisfying. It just constantly feels like putting a fire out and none of the stuff I typically enjoy in these kinds of games is prevalent in any factor. I haven't done any exploration since early game since the cost is too high, combat just sucks so much ass, and having trade wars is not my cup of tea. I'm not one of those guys on WoW who gets pissy that he's being undercut by the dude with 300 ore who finally decided to get rid of it. There's just nothing to ever look forward to except economy. And while I do like optimizing here and there, this is too much.
Also something I was hesitant to say at first, but the phrase 'will remain free of pay to win' is kind of misleading. In fact, it's very misleading in a quite hilarious way since if you are very 'economics' focus you will know the phrase 'time is money'. Well the more 'time' you spend on this game the more you 'win'. So it's kind of an indirect lie. Or a lie without intent to lie. This game absolutely is pay to win because you can spend your currency of time to win. So it actually does suck in that regard. And I am just... I don't have the time to waste on a game that gives me barely anything of what I genuinely like. There isn't enough combat nor exploration.
But even if you are only about city building, well then the combat at all will ruin it for you.
And heck, I wouldn't even say that I find the city building element very good either. There really isn't any variance in it. It's technically a solved game. There's very specific stuff you should do when playing that doesn't vary from game to game. I'd call that pretty lame especially for a game that seems to have semi-random map layouts.
Edit: Some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invaded my and my neighbor's territory. He avoided me because my tech was higher and decided to try and bully my neighbor. So we teamed up and attacked him together. The game really wants to discourage this, but there's really no reason to not do this because if you don't handle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like this, then they continue to just go around and bully.
Anyway, he quit like a baby as soon as he saw that he wouldn't be allowed to bully the smaller player. So I pounded his civ into the ground. And then the game decided to just 'take away all the loot' as soon as I was finally ready to start looting.
How you may ask? By making the civilization just POOF vanish and turn into ruins. All the stuff that was in storage just vanished. Great.
I get that the game wants to discourage raiding and pillaging, but it's just kicking the can down the road. To my understanding eventually things will come to a head resulting in the pay 2 win elements of the game becoming way too prevalent. People who 'pay' their time and get an advantage are able to crush anyone who doesn't obsessively and compulsively play. So the anti-raiding mechanics just harm people who are defending too. Getting into war just punishes you. Period. And you will eventually get into war. So if you don't pay more time than everyone else, you will eventually just lose. And since this game literally has no combat control as outlined below, there is no way you can outmanuever or tactically defeat your opponent which just makes combat worse and worse.

No specifically because of the combat system. If you are going to make your combat system simulated, you at least need a clear chance for success or something that will let the player accurately gauge what they are getting into. This game seems to use a 'rating' system for how difficult your opponent is I guess? Well apparently 3 bears rated at 72 is actually stronger than 20 pigs rated at 200. And this didn't happen just once. one time it was just 20 clubs and the next it was 10 clubs and 10 javs. I really don't know how to express my extreme dissatisfaction with losing units due to both lack of control and also due to the game just not even bothering to tell me. How am I supposed to know that my pigs are literally retarded and apparently can't beat 3 bears with 20 clubs or 10 clubs and 10 javs. I mean I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure things die from blood loss and if you have 10 guys just standing there chucking spears, I'd think it would be enough. One of those dudes is bound to hit something vital. I can just imagine the bear running around killing my club pigs and looking like a pin cushion in true video game fashion. Regardless, game seemed to imply they were 72 power, but seems they're closer to 1000 or something since I didn't even kill one of them. Also worth noting but you can juxtapose this next to the other barbarian pigs which I took out rated at 100 that I was able to defeat while only losing a couple pigs. Something is not right.
But I should also point out that the lack of control alone is reason enough to not bother since apparently javelin pigs walk faster than club pigs. So sometimes you'll get into situations where your ranged units get into melee combat before your melee units can arrive resulting in significantly reduced combat effectiveness. And the terrain is horrible to read. I can't figure out where pigs can even really walk without studying it in the flat terrain mode. And even then it's an eyesore to look at and very not readable. Though I fully understand that this game has more complexity than something like Tib sun in terms of it's elevation/terrain generation, I'm struggling to grasp how we can still be having issues in the modern era with making terrain readable. Hell even Tib Sun had deform-able terrain which remained readable the entire time. Even Dwarf Fortress, a fully top down game, has more readable terrain.
Honestly I probably should've asked my brother who actually likes this game more about the actual combat before buying in. While I like the 4x elements, the combat is simply too obtuse for my tastes. All of the buildup for me is meant to lead 'into' something not just building for the sake of building. And for me, that buildup is usually combat. It's really the only reason I even play 4x type games, otherwise I purely play tactical games.
I just... I don't even know how to express how abysmal this is from a tactical perspective. And if the combat is THIS bad... I'm just out man.
Brief analysis of the game.
It has two aspects.
First one is singleplayer, which is avoided by most of players because it's broken and because this game stated as multiplayer-based. Saves can be broken and turn into 3 fps lagging hell by simple combat or other activities.
Second is multiplayer and here it really "shines" - interaction between players is underdeveloped, lots of bugs, which sometimes crash servers and just make game experience frustrating, and on top of that tons of exploits which are either because of poor gamedesign or said bugs. Frustrating non-stop wars (breaking truce is not punished), primitive diplomacy mechanics, poorly designed interaction between players, bad optimization make this game a huge waste of time and money.
Development is done by one man that is asking a price of games like stellaris and rimworld but doesn't even come close to quality of these games.
TL;DR low quality garbage that will waste your time and reward you with frustrating experience. Avoid for your own good.
PS: on discord channel moderation insults new players so don't try to seek help there or leave any feedback.
if u got time on ur hands and enjoy that cellphone game style grind for upgrading tech and building, then this game is for you. i do enjoy this game... however i missed one day of not checking on my online city and it got over run by barbarians... after putting 13hrs total into the town i was working on. took the wind out of my sails for sure but it still has a pull to it that makes me think of songs of syx, age of empires and a little bit of civilization. all games i love. so i recommend but it isnt for the easily irritated.

Online play is literally like watching paint dry.
Solo play is not being supported as a priority since the dev visions the game as a browser styled mmo game i guess?
- You are limited at a certain pace of speed through online play.
- After initial setup, you have to wait 12 to 24 hours before you can advance during online play
- Solo play is there, but not supported. Theres little to no options to choose from on what kind of a gameplay you can go through. You just jump in and pray the roll of the dice is not against you.
Solo play is not supported as mentioned, its not a priority which is a shame, the game can be rather fun but lacks poorly in that perspective.
So far my experiences on solo games:
- You get to progress through the "tutorial" but lack or are missing important technologies to progress further and usually ends up your village turning into a revolt which you will loose without cheating or exploiting the game.
- Your village can end up being raided by raiders which grow larger and larger each passing moment starting from a single group of 10 up to a 100 in a short time plus the raiders also tech up faster in their army than you can because mentioned above, You lack or the RNG does not give you the required technology (Knowledge) to access certain resources.
-at the most rarest occasion, your starting location is just aweful and lack animals to hunt or food to gather.
- Moving your initial settlers to another tile can be very dangerous as they might end up dying either 100% or by a portion which ruins your game regardless as your pop count is very important from the start. If the male or female population dies, you can't get anymore piglets to grow your village.

每个大格子里面有小地图，但是里面全是动画不是真的。物流啥的都没有，好像也没有船。对于单机来说有点卡顿和操作频繁，对于联机有需要花太多时间，而且价格略贵50块

Gra jest trudna. Wymaga cierpliwości. Ale po nauczeniu się growej ekonomii jest bardzo miło zwłaszcza kiedy porządnie się poustawia swoje pasy produkcyjne oraz igra z otwartym rynkiem. Polecam zagrać jakiś serwer w czasie rzeczywistym zwłaszcza z jakimś znajomym który zaczyna blisko Ciebie.
Gra zazwyczaj twa około 50-60 dni ale fajnie się gra zaglądając nawet tylko raz dziennie żeby sprawdzić kto robi jakie ruchy i co się dzieje w twoim cyfrowym imperium.
Zdecydowanie polecam każdemu fanowi. Faraona, Cywilizacji, Anno albo Ogame

but the mechanics and the gameplay is really nice , nothing that you spend x Hours in one sitting on just every day a bit here and there

TLDR: MMO CIV game.
In details:
Genre: persistent MMO management game. Running in the background.
Mechanics: Simulating economy and sociology. Deeply so. You do not have to study its deep mechanics to optimise and enjoy the game. But if you do, you can learn A LOT of real world mechanics.
Gameplay: most of the fiddly things can be automated; If you withstand the urge to micromanage. With developing tech, you can automate and improve even more mechanics. For instance: you start simply. Your porcos produce and you receive the whole production. You build and feed for them. But can stockpile no money and your army is limited. Then you develop tech to tax them. But they own their own produce. Paying you taxes allows you to stockpile money and support huge armies. Develop tech further to speculate with the prices at which you buy and sell from your porcos; allowing you to put more effort to receive even bigger profit. Thats just one mechanic. Then there is trading among players; raiding NPCs; specialising production among teammates; waging war in alliance vs alliance; and more.
Feeling: managing a deep, detailed and realistic simulation can be daunting. And educational. The games are 2 months long but you can enter mid game. Or play as long as you like. The official goal is to be in the biggest alliance at the end of the game. While most of your time is spent tweaking your economy, you get the pleasure of socialising, trading, plotting, even subduing and managing other players. Developing tech allows you to scale up these interactions. Freeing up time from micromanaging, forcing you to instead focus on discussing bigger plans with bigger groups of people.
Development: regularly making updates. Always keeping focus on keeping it bug free. Occasionaly adding more features, while following the core feeling.

A city builder MMO I've found very enjoyable, The game continues on 24/7 but you dont have to and in turn your unlikely to be the main character on the server.
Its not an easy game by any means and circumstances/luck can hurt or hinder you. I've had a few false starts when climbing the tech tree and reaching new layers of complexity but find myself playing a little before work and a little more after work each day.
Not for the faint of heart. You can absolutely get better at Ymir but, (at least where the MMO is concerned) you can do all the right things and still fail. Its that kind of game.
A game of dealing with set backs.
Hands down the most in depth and complicated game I've ever played. Very under appreciated and over looked. Should actually have a free week to find some players with a price drop. But, in saying that fantastic time killer.

Good, and with nice graphics. You can't thrill yourselves on it, yet it is neat enough. And yes, the dev could give the game a few more passes, a bit more time before calling quits. (It's not impossible to play right now, mind you - it just needs a few tweaks here and there.)
Firstly, 99.8% of the playtime of this game is afk in the background, so those 2.8k hrs at review time are actually more like 20 hrs of actually doing anything.
Game has alot of promise but is severely held back by technical issues and bad design decisions. Has to be the most buggiest game I've ever played and I've played alot of EA titles. Early-game is an RNG-fest - you get ahead by being luckier than anyone else. Late-game is all about who can exploit the game's poorly designed mechanics more than anyone else. You will lose 10s of hours of progress to bugs. You will be killed by people exploiting bugs.
Avoid at all costs. Come back and take another look when the dev releases New Dawn (which is basically Ymir 2.0).

There isn't really a singleplayer. And the multiplayer is riddled with exploits and bugs. Sadly the dev has kinda dropped this gem to make an update on the engine which might take another 10 years or so. This game didn't need that much perfectionism, it needed a dev who would finish what he started.

I'm not that great at these types of games, but it seems like a fairly standard civilization management simulator. There's a lot of little details to keep track of, like what kind of food your people are able to eat and how much of it they can grow, etc. It gets really difficult once you phase out of the tribal stage and into being an actual civilization with currency, and there is a constant looming threat of losing your game to a civil war if you're not able to balance the people's needs with their satisfaction. I have a ton of fun playing this and will literally spend hours glued to my computer playing it. lol

Можно собрать свою компанию и поставить скорость тиков повыше, но у меня, например, друзей нет.

This game has you figure many things out on your own and i find that that is what gives it its magic. It has you theorycrafting on everything and anything, and that makes it such an enjoyable experience for me. Try it
I really try to love this game. I absolutely love how the research works, how you need several technologies for small improvements. I like how you can start settlements, how this affects your overall economy, state power etc.
But by god.. The way the mechanics work and that NOTHING is explained really got the better of me.
Or that I couldn't destroy a barbaric settlement 3 tiles from my main city. I tried to raid, sack, etc. I tried everything to destroy it several times. But NEVER did anything happen to it. Sure, I killed warriors, I got some loot. But it stayed nonetheless.
No I got attack by barbaric AxePigs with BowPigs and so on. While all I had was still clubs and javalins. I had set all my pigs to defend my storage (protected by a wall). But no, now they went straight to destroy half my city. Nice. Couldn't do anything as you can't do anything once the battle has started.
Sorry, no. Maybe I will try this game again in 10 years. But currently it has just a too high learning curve taking all fun away and converting this game into a waste of time.

It's good
Crashes sometimes but from my understanding the current legacy game is getting a major overhaul.
Very enjoyable nonetheless and works relatively well on Linux via Proton.
Needs a better combat system.
Either allow people to control their units in combat or give the ai a bit more intelligence
there is no reason my ranged units should be running face first into the enemy's melee units just because they are faster than my melee units
It's a silly pig game about leading a tribe of pigs from the stone age to the late middle ages.

Je recommande ce jeu à tous les fans des Paradox (crusader kings 3, EU4, ect). ou des jeux de grande stratégie en général. Ymir est un savent mélange entre un Paradox et un Age of Empire.
Un peu laborieux au début, il ne faut pas se laisser décourager car une fois les bases comprises le jeu devient très intéressant.
Sur un serveur de 100 joueurs, on commence à la pré-histoire, juste avant la sédentarisation.
Le début est simple et parait minimaliste, mais c'est normal. La complexité vient avec les nouvelles technologies découvertes.
Plus on avance et plus les choix du possible s'offre à nous : diplomatie, guerre, commerce, course technologique, alliance, spécialisation, explorer, coloniser, et j'en passe.
Le jeu simule tout les aspects de la société : Pas assez de nourriture ? C'est le début d'une famine, cela va engendré une baisse démographique et un mécontentement grandissant qui peu rapidement se transformer en guerre civile.
Des logements insalubres et une absence de médecin, le taux de maladie va monter en flèche.
Des changements de lois brusque et c'est la guerre civile. Une faible armée et vos citoyens ne vous craindront pas, voir pire, vous déposséderont. Cela peut aussi attirer la convoitise de vos voisins...
Bref, il y aurait temps à dire ^^
Malgré mes quelques 150h de jeu, je n'ai fait qu’effleurer la surface d'Ymir.

this is a 35$ pc game with phone game mechanics that is made for multiplayer
Currently in what I call a playable form, many things have be implenented since my last visit, if you can find this game on a discount i highly recommend buying it, it really is fun once you grasp the complex porco-economy.
It's one of the best games I ever played, my only problem it's that my friends can not be convinced to play it. I need new friends, help me!

Great game, still a little rough around the edges, but once you can get past the learning curve it's a blast. I believe there is only one dev and you can tell by the passion he put into the product. If you like city builders mixed with nation sim with a MMO base, this is the game for you.

Das Tutorial geht zum Beispiel nicht darauf ein, dass man zum Freischalten der Funktion des "Animal Breedings", sprich der Tierzucht, diese auch in einem Tab für Kultur aktivieren muss. Viele Systeme wirken unausgereift, alles lädt sich zu Tode und dann kommt plötzlich die Nachricht, man würde von 0 Rebellen angegriffen, die sich als 40 Mann starke Truppe herausstellt, die einem die einzige Stadt nehmen, während die eigene angeschlagene Armee 10 Felder entfernt campiert, weil man nicht genug Aktionspunkte hat um nach Hause zu kommen.
Es gibt keinen Schwierigkeitsgrad und das Wiki ist eher von der Community gefüttert, als vom Entwickler. Scheinbar hat der Entwickler keine Lust ein umfangreiches Kompedium zu liefern und überlässt es den Spielern mal alles alleine raus zu finden. Kann man machen, wenn man als Entwickler bekannt werden möchte für Frustfaktor. So keine Spielempfehlung von mir.

I just lost my playthrough to an rebelion event, and while now i feel sad and would probably take a break, i definetly recomend such expirience for all true strategists out there. Yes, multiplayer gameplay is a bit slow, but in the meantime it makes you take all the advantages you can out of what you got.
i even felt sorry for my porcos which i couldnt defend. Will definetly do better on next wipe, cause its win or nothing

nach etlichen Versuchen, dass Spiel halbwegs zu verstehen, um darauß eine Zivilisation aufbauen zu können. Es ist aber nun vorerst an der Zeit, ein paar Gedanken los zu werden.
[h1][b]Die Story[/b][/h1]
Wenn man der Bibel folgt, erschuf Gott am 7. Tag die Men….Schweinchen! Ihr versammelt euren Stamm und gründet eure erste Stadt...vielleicht noch eine weitere oder gar eine ganze Dynastie..vielleicht entwickelt ihr euch zu einem Global Player oder mehr noch...regiert die ganze Welt.
[h1][b]Das Gameplay / Die Spielmechanik[/b][/h1]
Ymir ist eine 4X- „MMO“ Städtebau/Wirtschaftssimulation, in welcher ihr nur grob die Richtung angebt und eure Zivilisation mehr oder weniger ihren Weg durch die Zeit findet. Kümmert euch um Nahrung, innere Stabilität und Loyalität, so wie die einfachen Grundbedürfnisse.
Ihr entscheidet, wie eure Stadt aussehen soll, doch welche Technologien entwickelt, entscheidet mehr oder weniger der Zufall. Habt ihr dann eine solche Technologie entdeckt, weißt ihr Arbeitskräfte zu. Arbeitskräfte sind z.B. Farmer, welche Agrartechnologien entdecken können und auch diese erforschen müssen oder Artisanen, welche das Handwerk weiterentwickeln. Für die Zeit, die das Projekt in Anspruch nimmt, werden die Arbeiter von ihrem eigentlichen Beruf losgelöst.
Die Welt von Ymir ist in vielen Kacheln unterteilt, welche jeweils eine eigene prozedural generierte Karte innehaben. Um diese Kacheln zu entdecken, müsst ihr eine Armee ausheben und sie über die Welt schicken. Sie können hier auf Ressourcensuche geschickt werden, Tiere erjagen gar ganze Kriege für euch führen. Oder ihr sucht euch eine weitere Niederlassung um euren Einfluss in der Welt weiter auszudehnen.
Ja, hierbei handelt es sich um sehr experimentelles MMO, denn es soll eigentlich nicht solo gespielt werden. Viele Ressourcen lassen sich aus eigener Hand vorerst nicht erstellen, so werden die Geschicke der Welt nämlich von allen Spielern bestimmt. Ähnlich wie es bei Eve Online der Fall ist, entscheiden die Stärksten.
Spielt man dieses Spiel dennoch solo, erstellt es ganz automatisch einen Server, welche dann wie ein Online-Spiel funktioniert.
[h1][b]Die Steuerung[/b][/h1]
Gespielt wird mit Maus und Tastatur, hier gibt es tatsächlich nicht viel zu erklären, denn außer einigen Mausklicks und die Kamera zu bewegen, passiert alles automatisch und wird vom Spiel simuliert.
[h1][b]Der Sound[/b][/h1]
Auch hier gibt es nicht viel zu erzählen, es klingt alles recht idyillisch/harmonisch ruhig.
[h1][b]Die Grafik[/b][/h1]
Die Grafik ist natürlich nicht zeitgemäß, wer aber einfache Pixelgrafik ansprechend findet, wird hier sicherlich keine Probleme haben. An sich ist das Spiel auch nicht sonderlich farbenfroh, es erinnert wirklich eben an die Steinzeit oder das frühe Mittelalter, wo alles recht naturbelassen ausgesehen haben müsste. Was ganz nett ist, dass die kleinen Schweinchen hin und her wuseln und man sich keine leere Karte ansehen muss.
[h1][b]Mein Fazit[/b][/h1]
Um es kurz zu machen, ich empfehle dieses Spiel nicht. Ich persönlich finde es wirklich gut, es gibt wirklich eine ganze Bandbreite an Dingen zu lernen und viel auszuprobieren. Und das ist gleichzeitig auch seine größte Schwäche, Ymir bringt euch so gut wie nichts bei. Es gibt ein ganz simples Tutorial, dort wird euch aber nur gezeigt welche Form und Farbe das Fundament hat. Wie man aber ein Grundgerüst baut, dazu gibt es keine Einleitung. Entweder man ließt sich durch etliche Foreneinträge durch oder besucht Discord/TS Server um sich das Wissen anzueignen, ansonsten muss man sehr viel Zeit investieren um auch nur einen kleinen Schritt nach vorne zu machen. Mit Freunden zu spielen oder gar auf einen der offizielen Server zu spielen ist auch schon gefühlt ein Muss. Spielt ihr solo, seid Ihr im Grunde die einzige Zivilisation die irgendwie Fortschritt macht, da das Spiel nur für euch beschleunigt wird, nicht aber für die KI, was es schon fast unmöglich macht, Handel oder Politik zu betreiben.
Einen Punkt den ich nicht angesprochen habe, ist der Absturz der Server. Ich habe es selbst ausprobiert und dazu noch andere Meinungen eingeholt. Es kommt öfter vor, dass der Server abstürzt und so euch ganze Tage fehlen können um weiterzuspielen, während andere fröhlich weiterspielen können und euch komplett nackig machen können. Ich weiße nochmal hierauf hin – es ist ein Einmann-Projekt.
Wer sich wirklich hinsetzen will, kann hier aber durchaus ein wirklich besonderes Spiel spielen. Für die unter euch, die wirklich ein Spiel von Grund auf lernen wollen, die sollten wirklich mal reinschauen. Ansonsten ist dieses Spiel, so hart es auch ist, nicht zu empfehlen. Es ist überhaupt nicht Einsteigerfreundlich und für 30€ einfach zu teuer.

I love how unique this game is, and how interesting the game mechanics are. this game also fills a niche genre of games that satisfies my ich for a city builder/civilization management game.

Caesar style city building, incredible tech tree, civ style map all in one game.

Ymir is one of those games that you know the developer really wanted to play themselves, but it didn't exist. So the developer went out and created it. Ymir is a complex web of systems and decisions that can be at times, abstract & opaque to outsiders.
Should you want to play this game, expect to set aside some time to learning the game. Accept mistakes, accept having to restart, and you will learn and grow with it. Use resources, like the Wiki, (ymir.fandom), and the discord (can be found in the main menu) and don't always trust the tutorial to be optimal. If you can do that, you will have a good time.

Ymir is a City Building game or even a Simulation. You control pig people named "Porcos" and you help them from the Prehistoric age to... Steel Age!! But getting enough food for my Porcos is a struggle, how many times do I have to go hunt for food?! The beginning is HARD. But once you get a stable food supply, the ability to build a Community Hall 1, and then build a Countryside, you will be good. Also, my first save file was lost to a rebelion, Conflict was just too high so Rebels came !! Oooooops!!
Nice game, Buen juego, al igual tardas en aprender pero es divertido, no te lo dan todo masticado, y vas mejorando y aprendiendo, no como los juegos de compañias que siempre son iguales.

Забавная экономическая игрушка. 99.9% аналогичных игр по сути донатные помойки. Тут же доната нет. Игру создает единственный человек, поэтому развитие идет медленно, а баги правятся не так быстро. Несмотря на это у игры довольно крупное комьюнити. Не жалею, что купил. Очень жду YMIR NEW DOWN.
civ builder where every tile is its own city builder, on top of complex economy, production, political and social systems - all of that added with the 100 people multiplayer experience. once the new update comes out it'll be one of the best looking strategy games too, insane work for an indie title.
