As Guild Master, I came here to recruit and establish the next guild on the next game. What did I find?

*Everyone just wanted to live in their own little world.
*The people we did recruit didn't want to join our discord server.
*They didn't want to get more involved with us.
*Call me entitled, but I do NOT appreciate having to fight for the right to level up.
*The quest with the giant and the bird was more trouble than it was worth for a MSQ.

It's free. So play what you want from it. You're only using up download time and hard drive space. TIf you've been wanting a Xianxia/Wuxia character creation game this will scratch that itch.

I had it described to me as Wuxia. Though, I'd say it sits in-between Wuxia (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, peak human combat, wire-fu) and Xianxia (Magic powers, Spirits, etc). It takes place in Ancient China. But it traverses through different realms.

Nothing to write home about. It's...there.

It has a lot of menus and takes time to learn.
A lot of currencies as well. Just like any other free game.

So far this game is great ngl, a lot of things to do from story to mini stories (aka side missions) and collecting chest, oddities (collectibles). Huge open world and insanely beautiful graphic.

Unfortunately good things also come with bad things, since the game is so big it does have its own problems such as:

1. Some encounters not triggering (despite correct time and weather)
2.PvP (via Bounty) after accepting the bounty and joining the co-op world some attacks literally go throught the player even tho it shouldnt.
3. As of right now I am trying to clear Tian Ying No Hit but for some reasons this particular boss can attack you right after the loading screen (the moment the black screen is fading away). It wouldnt be really a problem for normal run but sometimes I can control my character and dodge or deflect it and sometimes i cant even move at all and have to restart the run again and again. (of course i had runs where i miss calculated my distance and got hit so its not that I cant defeat him because of the game, its just that the game makes it more difficult than it should.

And the last one is optimalization (in some locations). I do have a really good PC with Ryzen x3d and RTX 5080 but somehow the steam version of this game isnt as good as the one that you can download directly from the WWM website (at least what my friend told me who have the same specs)

Of course theres many many other bugs, small or big but theres definetily a big problem with "gamepley" bugs (graphic bug i rlly dont care) but when the game gets more difficult due to some bugs its a bad sign, considering the game already being quite long in China and we still have such a bugs it kinda tells me that the devs arent really focused on fixing the game.

Its still nice to have the game for free despite the skins being A LITTLE bit overpriced (yes i do understand that they gotta make money somehow, but I do still think that they should drop the prices at least just a bit)

I do recommend to try this game out, its really good despite some bugs (there arent any that wont let you finish the main story). The set and story (if you dont skip the cutscenes) is just... something else.

My review is kinda primarly for people that are gonna try and 100% the locations and do some No Hit runs. Just keep it in mind that the game isnt perfect and many times very very annoying.

Красивая обёртка , шлак внутри.

Куча багов , за 18 часов неисчислимое количество раз застрявал в текстурах , после завершения кат-сцен они начинались заново , неуязвимые враги.

Куча хп у всех бомжей , по 4-5 раз надо спелы жать в каждого бомжа.

Активности в мире настолько примитивные , что время на них тратить даже нет смысла , но разраб не дурак и добавил за них в награду +1 к статам , которые нужные для возможности носить снаряжение высокого гира. Самая тупое вынуждение закрытие этой ♥♥♥♥♥ , которое только можно придумать.

Сложность на боссах какая либо отсутствует , ибо есть бесконечный хил , на кооп боссах соответственно тоже никакой сложности нет , тупа тыкай зубочитской.

Подбор пати на кооп босса это либо поиск 20 минут ; либо поиск 20 минут где в пати закинет хай гир чела , которые убьёт босса за пару тычек (очень интересно) ; либо заходи с тупыми болванами нпс и ковыряй его 20 минут соответственно.

ПВП мёртвое , во первых ужасная синхронизация на уровне дарк соулсов , где враг в 20 метрах бьёт воздух , а по тебе регает дамаг , во вторых это отсутствие какой-либо возможности для контр-атаки , ибо если вы попали под комбо китайца , можно идти делать чай/кофе , вас уже не выпустят из него.В третьих это отсутствие автоподбора , вам может закинуть как и ваш гир , так и челиков , которые уберут вас с двух плюх. Интересное решение однако.

Квесты затянуты в абсолют , беги туда , поговори с этим , беги туда и поговори с тем , на втором часе игры зевнул и начал скипать абсолюнто всё. Это же примитивное дерьмище , дайте возможность быстрее дойти до ендгейм контента , к чему эта затянутость вся.

А к тому , что енд-гейм контента нет , это дефолтная система , вот тебе 150 такой то валюты , трать 20-30-40 и тд что-бы подраться с боссом или почистить данж. Тут 80% челиков тупа сидит в лобби , где часть спамит в чат скриншоты , другая спамит в чат набор в ГИ. Зато есть огромное количество скинчиков по 250$ за штуку , где спец-эффектов больше , чем в фильмах Бея. Скины на анимацию спелов тоже можно купить за 250$ соответственно.

В гильдии не вступал , я так понимаю тут есть и гильд босс и гильд вары , но не думаю что гильд босс отличается от обычного чем-то , а на гильд варах будет такой-же рассинхрон.

Короче говоря - халтура

Entré a Where Winds Meet con bastantes expectativas después de leer que era un buen Soulslike f2p que se podía jugar en single player sin complicarse con otras mecánicas rancias habituales de este tipo de juegos gratuitos y visualmente tengo que reconocer que el juego es una pintura en movimiento; los paisajes de la era de las Cinco Dinastías son sobrecogedores. Sin embargo, no toma mucho tiempo darse cuenta de que esa belleza es solo una superficie muy delgada que intenta ocultar una falta de pulido alarmante y una identidad que no termina de decantarse entre hacer honor a los pilares de los souls-like o otro simulador de recados con un sistema de mecánicas que podría resumir en un "quien mucho abarca, poco aprieta".

El juego te anuncia montones de mecánicas para adquirir habilidades o roles que en el papel te atraen, pero al final son minijuegos superficiales con menos profunidad que el Wii Sports y que rompen el ritmo de la narrativa.

Los menús e interfaz son un caos visual, saturados de iconos y notificaciones que parecen sacadas de un juego de móviles barato (bueno, en realidad es lo que es), lo cual choca frontalmente con la estética elegante del mundo.

En fin, tirando de refranero de pozo seco no se puede sacar agua; poco me dáis, menos lleváis; y no se venden duros a cuatro pesetas. Y el sentido común ya me decía que esperar un buen souls-like por cero euros era improbable, pero había que comprobarlo.

The biggest plus of this game is that it is a deadlock and that it is really well optimized and of course beautiful!
As for the story, I can't say anything yet, because I just started playing it, after a few hours of playing I will tell you what I think the story is. The beginning is promising, but we'll see how it goes!

+ exploration feels interesting, aside from chests, there are tons of things hidden in the world
+ good wuxia feel with fantasy physics and epic moments
+ story is decent, many goofy moments there; voice acting is very average
+ gatcha is cosmetic only (even tho chances to get something are very low), the game doesn't feel p2w
+ multiplayer feels fully optional

- menus/UI are too nested and cluttered - it’s like a whole game inside a game: confusing, time-consuming, never-ending
- endgame is pretty boring - mostly burning energy on reshuffled story content
- co-op is there, but very limited, same with MMO features
- many systems feel underdeveloped and look like a time-gated, long-term grinds for a few cosmetics
- everything gives you a +0.1% boost, which doesn’t feel meaningful

As a long time fan of wuxia and xianxia MMO style games, I was excited to dive into Where Winds Meet expecting it retain similar fans. The community instead is full of grifters, beggars, sexual harassers, and with every language coming together in the same text channels, it makes it difficult to connect with others in-game itself. While you can find those connections on Discord, it would be easier to find them in-game if there was any development pushed towards the social tools. Being able to filter languages out would be a big boon for every community, but you can't even block someone: blacklisting them still allows their messages to show up on your screen so if someone is spamming for votes or items (which offer nothing of value to conversation), the only way to filter out their message is to simply turn off the chat or go to another channel which is often filled with the same thing.

Being a member of the Velvet Shade is a cycle of people begging for likes instead of simply doing things that would obtain them naturally because they simply can't compete with the hundreds of other players already spamming channels.

For a game filled with socializing aspects between the sects and gallery, as well as all of the other features, it's really a shame there's nothing for chat! People will respond "just turn off the chat", but so many features are enriched by a social presence that it's really discouraging to be told that is the primary way of handling the issue when the game is at fault for not allowing players the opportunity of curating their own experience.

Há pontos positivos sim, mas os negativos são muitos.

os pontos positivos é a costumização de personagem e a exploração de mundo, de fato não falta conteúdo em ambas as questões, você pode costumizar seu avatar de diversas formas diferentes e até únicas eu diria (acredito que muitos já viram videos no instagram ou tiktok das pessoas de fato conseguindo recriar personagens de desenhos animados ou de outros jogos nisso). A exploração de mundo há diversas side-quests a serem feitas, batalhas, cenários lindos, recompensas em um número incontavel.

Logo os pontos negativos é que o jogo indiretamente tenta te convencer constantemente a gastar dinheiro para receber recompensas, trajes de avatar, cenário de perfil pessoal, armas costumizadas e motnarias (acho que coloquei tudo, mas não dúvida que há mais coisas pagas nesse jogo) o gacha é uma vergonha, dificultam o máximo para que você passe dias no jogo e ainda assim não conseguir o item que deseja. A gameplay é um problema gravissimo também, o sistema de cura é uma merda e mal explicada, algumas batalhas podem ficar travadas deixando o inimigo ou player ter a vantagem acima de você, sistemas que você precisa descobrir através de um comentário de um jogador ao invés do próprio jogo que deveria ter te ensinado e a história do jogo é confusa e mal elaborada, só se concentraram de tentar fazer algo minimamente atrativo pros olhos através de cutscenes (o que falharam miseravelmente).

em resumo: não gasta seu tempo nem dinheiro nisso 👍

I tried this game only for a few hours, but even with only that amount of time, I was sorely disappointed to see how much content was created with AI. Yeah, the chatbot with NPCs feature is cool, but they even used AI for some of the voice acting. Don't cheap out on creating something incredible. This game had so much potential, but the extensive use of AI was just too disappointing for me to play.

The beginning of the game felt confusing and hard to follow, some of the features weren't clearly explained, and I didn't really feel like I had a sense for the game until I was ready to quit a few hours in. Don't waste your time.

Después de 11,7 h de juego he de dar mi opinión sincera sobre el juego, (es mi primera reseña seria).

Primeramente, desde que entre el juego utiliza muchas aplicaciones e ideas revolucionarias como la de utilizar IA generativa en base a una foto y eso al final no deja de ser gracioso, PERO, al final lo que gusta de estos juegos ya sea este o el black desert, dark souls, wow, etc, es crearte un personaje que a ti te guste y sea original. Sinceramente pienso que pese a hacer bromas con los personajes en TikTok, esto no hace mas que fastidiar la propia imaginación de la gente por pura dopamina y bromas que puedas hacer.

Segundo termino el juego en si esta bien, tienes distintas formas de controles y de verlos pero es verdad que yo siento que se queda corto en habilidades, con 11 h me pase el prologo que es salir de tu pequeño pueblo, obviamente si quisiese hacer el 100% de la zona me llevaría mas, pero como jugador casual de este tipo de juegos son bastantes horas, pero yo por ejemplo quería probar otras armas y ya me estaban poniendo que tenia que ir a una zona especifica para poder usar sus habilidades que oh, da la casualidad de que no puedes legar si no te pasas el prologo.

En 3er lugar hay muchos minijuegos, como cartas, ajedrez, una especie de discusiones y luego un chat con los NPCS que me sorprendió de verdad, pero luego me doy cuenta que es meterle mas y mas IA y minijuegos en si que o son lo mas fácil del mundo o no te dejan ganar ni aun siendo el mejor jugador de mentiroso de el mundo, pero eso no quita de que solo lo metieron por relleno y por mas y mas dopamina, por que hacerte una historia interesante no va con ellos.

De igual forma tooooooooodos los juegos de ahora no se si es por que el Fortnite les ha corrompido la cabeza o que pero todos los juegos gratis confían tan poco en dejar algo propio que solo se dedican a sacarle los euros a una panda de Ludópatas que tienen que pillarse su pase de batalla y sus gachas para sentirse mejor con su vida.

De igual forma no todo en esta reseña es malo, los gráficos de las cinemáticas son preciosas, el gameplay es satisfactorio quitando lo de las habilidades, y la historia pese a no ser lo mejor del mundo tiene cosas que son salvables como el final boss de el prologo. Algunas sub misiones son divertidas como lo de ir corriendo gritando tonterías y que te sigan el rollo y varias historias mas. De igual forma no merecería tener mas de un 5 o un 6 de nota si es que quieres perder un par de neuronas jugándolo.

Where Winds Meet is an underrated, open-world game that is free to play. The only gacha in this game are the cosmetics, which if you don't care at all, then this game is a lot of fun to play. There are a lot of things to do and the combat is good to the point of enjoyable even on the hardest difficulty. Although people complained about the pulls for a legendary cosmetic item being more than $200, this is to be expected for a game that makes their money through monthly passes, battle passes, and cosmetics. No doubt this was going to be the expected way of revenue. Anyway, the lore is enjoyable as well. The lore of Where Winds Meet is actually really expanded with a lot of mysteries, clues, etc.

One thing I find interesting is the fact that there are NPCs where you can engage through chatting by typing, but they use AI to respond.

I love the character customizations, but it is sad to see that some customizations are locked behind gacha. I'm just wondering though why are the lighter hair colors locked behind gacha such as blondes, pinks, and whites. The free hair colors are darker hues. The same thing applies to the outfits coloring. Bright colors are locked behind gacha. Darker colors are obtained free through grinding.

However, I'm not playing the game for cosmetics. I'm already in love with the character I've designed. I've only spent about $40 on this game so far, but I can see myself playing this for a very long time.

I switched from Steam to the game launcher... It's playable, but PvP is very ping-dependent... If you have a ping higher than 10, it's impossible to play... Even in solo mode, the ping on some bosses prevents you from completing a no-hit run.
Since these geniuses decided to release updates that have been around for a million years, people simply have nothing better to do... the graphics were downgraded and nothing changed, loading everything and everyone is right in front of you...
Skins for those lacking even the most basic taste... female characters can barely show their hands, but most male skins have their entire torso visible....
There won't be a plot for two more updates, as I understand it....

the game mechanics itself are pretty good, its f2p friendly no p2w mechanics but the outfit gacha really isnt needed. the chat itself is just used for begging for stuff. As a guy who enjoys more story type games i dont mind the problems with co-op or multiplayer as it doesnt concern me but the game still needs to work on that as to attract more people. In the single player point of view there are certain parts that feel way too long and boring but in the end i still do enjoy the game.

Это прям душная душнятина. В целом, игра больше для девочек. Мультяшная графика, посредственный сюжет. Слишком всё слащаво. Не знаю, может китайцы такое обожают. Но сюжетные линии тут заставят страдать. Страшно затянуто всё. Напоминает какой-нибудь геншин, я не знаю. ПО началу, кажется забавной игрой. В первой локации даже графика есть. Дальше корявенький мультик. Поэтому, не верьте обзорам в ютубе, ну нет тут прям красивой картинки. Пара мест, буквально. А в целом игра на уровне какого-нибудь гибрида Теры, БнС и Айона может по графе. Ну такое. Странные азиатские ивенты, время от времени, вроде - неси бабку на игру в маджонг. Ах да, тут куча странных активностей. Девочкам, наверняка, зайдет. Тем более, персонажи тут слащавые. Всё такое кавайное. Все с длинными волосами, в халатах. Резиновые миломорды, как южные корейцы. В общем, гомосятиной веет. В нпс решили воткнуть ИИ, и диалоги можно строить какие хочешь. Кто-то даже в трусишки к НПЦ женскому залазил, скрины были на каком-то форуме. Не знаю. Смотрите сами. Я не заходил больше месяца, и вот скачал вчера. У меня прям хэйт к ней пошёл, за затяжные душные диалоги ни о чем. И комменты будут от педиков ноющих, что история прям вау. История - сопли. Заезженные. что-то типа этих стремных корейских сериалов. Короче, херня. Реально, херня

Its a good game with amazing graphics. I would say the key to long time enjoyment is finding an active guild.
End game is a bit stale as updates have big intervals between them and you have reach max lvl and gear after 1 week after an update drops.
