this game really is fun and relaxing i had fun playing it with my friend and finding out new stuff is really cool but im sorry for what happen to the creator of the game of how poeple got butthurt over a joke that they did in the game and for anyone just hating on this needs to shut up if they dont know the story back off but i hope that the creator will come back and hope they are doing well there might not be new stuff but always fun to keep playing

It's a relaxing, laid back, casual little fishing game to play with friends. Reminds me of Animal Crossing lol.

I lost my file due to changing to a PC setup but I used to play this game a ton and HAD an Gold Manta Ray but alas I forgot most of what I had or what I looked like. this is a cute game. I like it just not as I used to due to my file that I spend 20 hours on. I Recommend this game if you like fish, a lot.

Also, when you start out, it's just this chill game where you ♥♥♥♥ around and talk to others. But as the hours go on it turns into this hunt for the next 5 star fish that's going to complete your journal.
Sure the LGBTQ stuff is cringe but I wish ppl didn't make the developer quit as we would probably have more updates by now and this game is really good.

If you from 4chan or got mad over the title ur subhuman. Webfishing good game. Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pixel fishing game for $5. Why are you expecting anything other when your paying that much idk ask if your mom took Tylenol. You pay the $5 stfu and fish bruh it aint that hard.

Great game to mindlessly fish whilst talking to people
Works well as a chatroom game, but the fishing mechanic is simplistic and gets old quickly. If you have the mental illness of needing to 100% every game, just be aware you are getting yourself into a 150-200 hour RNG fest.
I'm not giving this a bad recommendation out of spite or hating this game, quite the opposite. I had some good times on this games short life cycle, but I wouldn't be looking forward to any new updates, and from what I've heard the game is outright dangerous to play now.
If you don't know, the creator was utterly harrased after putting a ""Straight"" tag into the game. He was doxxed, and the harrasment was so bad that the creator left the game (and probably the internet) completely.
It's a sad and frankly infuriating situation to see. I genuenly hate people on the internet, and the way they deal with drama. I wished I could have seen this game flourish, but of course our fun has to be ruined by the utter trash of human beings that live off of this blood sucking connection they have to it. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this place.

for a game that i was expecting to be worth my time in a market where fishing games are BOOMING.
This game left my soul felt very empty. The Graphics look like if you took a pixel game and microwaved them for 5 minuets on high and then slapped spome pastel colors into it.
theres no point of progressing. you catch 1 fish.. Congradulations you compleated the game.

this game could of had more soul. i think the memes that came from this are great however. 99999$ for the gender title "straight" and 70 gold for all the lgbt ones is interesting. this game once again is empty. no npc animals other then crows. no fish under the water again due to the obliterated graphics.
as im playing on a 4k 60" tv its just a mosaic of what water would be on 50p graphics.
Now the Music. somthing animal crossing is hyped for.

AMAZING GAME. especially with friends. I originally played this with my partner and then got my friends into it because of my favorite funny brother Ryan from Supermega played it. I really love ACNH and I am VERY picky with fishing games, I enjoyed Stardew's mechanics, but this one is top notch. A shame it's no longer being worked on, despite it all, I still hope the owner comes back, this is a very good concept that could do well, especially with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the co-op and chill games are now (too many friend slop copy-cat games nowadays). There are so many features this game could have, would buy this again if I didn't already own it lmao. 11/10

I love WEBFISHING so much. I spent a lot of time playing this game and chatting to random people. The vibes were so unique and entertaining. And fish. But this game is not secure. I have been playing on my own private games since I found out about the hacker issues. And still, I had to remove a trojan that had access to my data because of this game. I wouldn't recommend playing unless you are aware that things like this WILL happen and take the appropriate measures.

Even though Webfishing is no longer actively being developed, I still think it's worth your time. The low-fidelity, no aliasing graphical style and stylization adds a lot to the feel of the game, and I've had a lot of lovely conversations with folks, whether it be shooting the ♥♥♥♥, talking about life, or just discussing random-ass topics. Very much feels like the good memories of old-school internet.

Really fun game to listen to music or put something on a second monitor and get drunk/high while playing, kinda sucks that there probably wont be anymore content though. Webfishing and Serial Killing is a great server to talk to people in.
