I wanted to love this game, the vibes are immaculate but the controls are hideous, the UI doesn't explain itself and half of the options don't seem to actually do anything, and the tutorial just softlocks itself on the first task. Devastating, because everything about the actual atmosphere is absolute perfection.

La primera impresión es clara: esto no viene a contarte una historia épica ni a retarte con sistemas profundos; viene a darte una experiencia de feria, con enfoque en simulación ligera, paseo y sensación inmersiva. Y sí, tiene soporte RV… porque nada dice “diversión” como marearte voluntariamente en una atracción virtual sin el algodón de azúcar para compensar.

I played this game again after three years, and when I launched it, SteamVR popped up, but the VR mode was gone?! I was shocked. Following the method in [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/515260/discussions/0/4303823318973716845/]this post[/url], reverting to an older version did allow me to enter VR "spectator" mode, but I couldn't use the Quest controllers, which was absurd. Wasn't this game designed for VR? New DLC keeps rolling out, which looks interesting, but what's the point if you can't play it in VR? There are already plenty of VR carnival games to choose from, and even more 2D ones. I hesitated and didn't buy any DLC during the last two sales; I really don't understand what the developers were thinking.

Just saying, the themes (artwork) are pretty bad in my opinion (as well as the ride signs) and I'm too lazy to create my own so -1 in the overall rating. Also, It would be nice to be able to remove the in-game default music or keep them separate and have some more character models.

I've purchased this game for VR and there is no VR - it seems it was removed from the game in a recent update.
Edit: You can restore the VR functionality.
Highlight game in your Steam library, right click mouse & select "Properties", now select "Betas" and next to "Beta Participation" set that to "v240". Click the green Update button to restore the previous version allowing you to access the VR Experience again.
Although it is extremely bad implemented. You need to put you VR away and start the ride through your mouse and monitor, there is no ride controls like in the main park and all of the VR rides are confined into a building,

Amazing detail on the ride models themselves and great physics as they move. Controlling them is a lot of fun.
Sometimes there can be some odd glitches when using the panels in the operators booth over the UI to control the rides, and sometimes it can be hard to do precise controls on these panels. Using the UI to control the rides is glitch free and easy, but I do prefer to use the panels for added realism. It would also be useful to be able to move the camera when viewing the panel so its easier to view the ride and control it without changing cameras. I also wish the panels varied a bit more between rides to be more accurate especially for each type of manufacturer.
Hope to see some more rides added in the future! Especially some newer flat rides like a zamperla nebulaz or the new generation Huss flats.

Nur sehr kurzer Spielspaß. Die mitgelieferte Musik ist nicht gut, an sich kein Problem, aber seine eigen zu importieren ist etwas kompliziert. man sollte es sich einfach genau überlegen. :moyai:
Leider enttäuschend, nach 15 Minuten schon keine Empfehlung
Ich habe das Spiel nur etwa 15 Minuten gespielt, aber selbst in dieser kurzen Zeit war klar: Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Es sah auf den ersten Blick echt vielversprechend und cool aus, aber die Umsetzung lässt zu wünschen übrig.
Schon auf meinem Mac, der deutlich stärkere Spiele problemlos packt, lief Virtual Rides 3 extrem schlecht. Selbst bei den niedrigsten Einstellungen war die Performance miserabel. Dazu kamen Bugs und eine wirklich unpraktische Steuerung. Dass man zum Umschauen die rechte Maustaste gedrückt halten muss, wirkt einfach nicht durchdacht.
Schade. Ich hatte gehofft, ein nettes Kirmesspiel zu finden. So aber werde ich es wohl zurückgeben.

Ich kann mich meinen Vorrednern nur anschließen, das Spiel ist ok, aber für 24/ 60€ viel zu teuer.
Jetzt zum Angebot für 22€ mit allen DLCs kann ich sagen es passt (aber auch nur weil ich ein Fahrgeschäfts-fan bin), aber warum ist das so?
Grafik: sehr schön, wenn man es mit den aktuellen Simulator Spielen vergleicht...
Story: gibt es nicht
Steuerung: Intuitiv, aber leider gibt es (noch) keine einstellbaren Motor presets.
Kamera Führung: es gibt einige presets wenn du im Fahrgeschäft bist, aber im Großen und Ganzen bist du außerhalb nur in der Ego Perspektive unterwegs.
Spielspaß: Also ich persönlich bin nun nach 75 min mit allen Geschäften und Anpassungen durch und irgendwann werde ich es wieder spielen, aber aktuell bin ich vorerst versorgt.
Allgemeiner Eindruck: Wenn es nachts ist musst du dich blind von a nach b bewegen, du kannst dekorative Objekte mit Punkten freischalten, die ich nicht intuitiv zuordnen kann (ist es die Zufriedenheit oder woher weiß ich wann ich die x Punkte habe oder nicht), ABER wenn man sich vorstellt, einen eigenen Park oder ein eigenes Fahrgeschäft zu designen (also vom Motor bis zu den Gondeln frei entscheidbar) wirst du leider enttäuscht. Im allgemeinen kann man alle Fahrgeschäfte nach belieben anpassen, aber es ist eher ein showcase der in der Realität existierenden Fahrgeschäfte, als ein richtiges Spiel.

Tienes unas cuantas atracciones de las de toda la vida que te puedes encontrar en cualquier feria de ciudad y las puedes personalizar hasta un punto casi aceptable. Digo aceptable porque no te permite meter imágenes propias y las que tiene son escasas y poco estilosas para mi gusto.
La cosa de poder utilizar el micrófono para hablar con algún efecto también tiene gracia.
Si lo encuentras en oferta y te sale por el precio de un par de refrescos, píllala y descubrirás que manejar "la nube" igual no era tan sencillo como imaginaste.

If you love the thought of owning and operating your very own fairground ride then this is about as good as you can get. Customise your ride's look and theme, add your own collection of music/sound effects for that full on feel. The software could do with a quick polish to smooth up the game play and graphics but for the price it's at, then you can't really complain. My only gripe is my Salsa, or Waltzer as it's better known could be in a better place on the park as there's nothing but tree's in front of it. Only that small issue makes me rate this at 8/10.
hey ich spiel das spiel echt lange schon und es wird nie langweilig aber mir fehlt nur 1 fahrgeschäft die eig auf jeder kirmes dabei sein müsste die rede ist von ein free fall tower wäre nice wenn der auch noch reinkommen könnte ich würde den dlc mir sofort hollen also sonst würde ich die simulation von einer kirmes echt empfehelen

Also Ich finde es schon gut aber das dumme ist, dass sie nur neue Sachen raus bringen die man kaufen muss um zu steuern. Dass ist das einzigste was stoert.
Der Festplatz Modus ist voll mit roten punkten, ich habe die Entwickler angeschrieben aber keine Antwort bis jetzt bekommen, die E-mail hab ich vor circa 2 Wochen verfasst. :( Trotz Update und De-und Neuinstallation ändert sich nichts, dass ist sehr ärgerlich ,denn es ist das einzige Spiel seiner Art.

Ich finde das Spiel ganz gut. Nur das einzige Problem ist halt, das es relativ teuer ist. Ich würde auf keine fall empfehlen die Ultimate Edition für 60 Euro zu kaufen oder die standart für 30 Euro. Ich habe abgewartet und die Ultimate Edition für 20 Euro gekauft. Und ich muss schon sagen, das 20 Euro mir eigentlich zuviel sind. Ich dachte mir aber, bevor ich die 20 Euro unnötig für Counter srike skins ausgebe, kauf ich lieber das. Das Spiel ist okay, wenn man Abends ein wenig Musik anmacht und dann das Game mal genießt, oder für Streamer. Man kann das Spiel aber absolut nicht als mainspiel bezeichnen. Es ist jediglich gut, abends ein wenig zu chillen, weil es ja keine Story oder so giebt. Das Spiel ist also wirklich nur für absolute freaks. Aber wie gesagt, wenn dann nur kaufen, wenn die standert Edition 7 Euro kostet und die Ultimate Edition 20 Euro. Ansonsten ist das absolut Money waste. Wer also überlegt, nicht ein aderes Spiel sich zu holen, was ihm mehr zusagt, sollte er lieber das andere nehmen. Ich gebe dem Spiel 5 von 10 Punkten, aber auch nur weil ich absoluter freak bin und es verhältnissmäßig billig bekommen habe.

kupiłem tą grę głównie po doświadczenia związane z VR Niestety są one dość słabe.
Część doświadczeń jest do zakupienia jako DLC nie testowałem ich.
W kwestii VR, każde doświadczenie kończyło się myślą.. "to wszystko?.." lub wcale nie dawało satysfakcji.
Ponadto w wielu doświadczeniach jest spory problem z położeniem. często po restarcie widoku jesteś 20 cm nad siedzeniem albo metr, czasem nawet przed lub pomiędzy siedzeniami, co dodatkowo psuje imersję ponieważ trzeba resetować widok i z założonymi okularami przesuwać się w odpowiednie miejsce co często nie jest fizycznie możliwe.
Żeby nie było, nie oceniam całej gry a tylko to co oferuje dla użytkowników VR.
Jeśli tak jak mi zależy wam akurat na tych doświadczeniach odradzam zakup.

I bought this game mainly for the VR experiences, but unfortunately, they’re quite underwhelming.
Some of the experiences are sold separately as DLC, which I haven’t tested.
As far as VR is concerned, every experience ended with the thought… “Is that it?” or failed to provide any real satisfaction.
Moreover, many of the experiences have major issues with positioning. Often, after resetting the view, you end up 20 cm above the seat or a meter off, sometimes even in front of or between the seats. This further breaks immersion, as you have to reset the view and physically move yourself into the right position while wearing the headset – which is often not physically possible.
Just to be clear, I’m not reviewing the whole game, only what it offers for VR users.
If, like me, you’re interested specifically in the VR experiences, I’d advise against purchasing.

This game is so well made! i really enjoy it so much and it so fun! if i could just suggest one thing it would be adding a speed 32 kmg model like airborne, i think you guys have done so good and i really hope thers more updates soon! i would love to see if a speed 32 model by kmg could come into the game.

Feedback for Virtual Rides 3 – Accessibility and keyboard control for visually impaired players
Dear developers,
I am visually impaired and I really enjoy playing Virtual Rides 3. I would like to suggest a few improvements that would make the game more accessible and easier to control without relying on vision:
1. Automatic closing of safety bars:
In the Hurricane (Breakdance), the staff member collects tickets and closes the safety bars, which helps me know when the ride is full. In other rides like the Tentacle, the staff only collects tickets, and I have to close the safety bars myself — but I can’t see when everyone is seated. It would help to have an option for automatic safety bar closing, or at least a sound or voice cue when the ride is full.
2. Keyboard control for music:
Right now, only jingles can be controlled with the keyboard. Please consider adding keyboard shortcuts like Insert to turn the music on/off, and Home/End to browse tracks.
3. Keyboard navigation for the map:
After pressing Escape to open the map, everything must be done with the mouse. It would be much more accessible if I could use arrow keys to move between rides and Enter to select one.
Thank you for considering these changes. They would make the game much more accessible to visually impaired players like me.

I wanted to play for a long time before ranking this game.
It was a great game. I Played it a lot.
But in 2025, outch.
The game engine is great. The graphics are becoming old, the 3D models aren't detailed enough imo.
But the worst thing about this game is the Physics.
If like me, you like funfair ride because of the weights of the gondolas, the physic interaction with the components.
It's nothing like it here.
Many Rides have a glitched physic, especially the looping gondolas.
The design of the handmade decors isn't my cup of tea as well.
A lot of things could be great, it was great 8 years earlier, but in 2025. I'm not too sure.
ich liebe virtual rides, aber man könnte es ja noch so machen dass die schrift aus mehreren glühbirnen besteht, und mehrere realismus möglichkeiten hinzufügen könnte wie: form der rückwand leuchten, abstand zwischen den farben in den glühbirnen und einfach mehrere design möglichkeiten.
Man könnte auch noch die movingheads hinter die rückwand stellen, operator modus wo die nebelmaschiene aufwärmen muss, die möglichkeit seine eigenen fahrgeschäfte aufzubauen, einfach mal ein RIESIGES update, die wahl ob man scheinwerfer oder LED´s benutzen kann und mehr customisation, und bittte bitte bitte andert das man die logos aus glühbirnen bauen kann, und mehrere schriftarte.
Lange rede kurzer sinn bitte ändert die design customization möglichkeiten und mehr realismus bitte.
