玩法是跟隨視角的風火輪賽車，融合道具賽機制。整體還算及格，不過遊戲設計的缺陷過於明顯，仔細思考後我想不應該推薦它。
整個遊戲的問題可以被簡單以「容錯率低」來帶過，但之所以容錯率低，是「道具賽」和「起跑位置」造成的。玩家的起跑位置始終被安排在最後方角落，在賽道過窄又要提防前方車手的地雷道具的前提下，不靠運氣根本無法在第一圈超越其他車手。如果第一圈無法拉開距離，與其繼續浪費時間玩下去還不如直接重玩。於是整個遊玩流程就是想辦法開場不被弄死，不然就重玩，不斷不斷地重複。
再來要提的就是視角了，首先跟隨玩家車手的視角並非即時跟上而是稍微有延遲的，玩起來稍微有點彆扭。再來視角並不會始終跟隨在玩家的正後方，玩家還必須自己在腦袋進行過彎幅度的判斷。最後，這遊戲有一對一的 Boss 戰環節，只要讓 Boss 飛出場外、車輛損毀、或是超越一定距離後就算獲勝。但我不曉得開發團隊為什麼要那麼執著讓視角同時容納玩家與對手，玩家如果超前太多根本看不到路，導致玩家必須反覆遊玩直到把路線記起來。
總之這遊戲如果只是入包湊數或 1 折購買的話還能接受，不值得在更高價位入手。

micro machines without the license, yet it still got quietly delisted for some reason, though the demo is still available. often terribly frustrating with awful camera angles, so you're not missing much. would love the original micro machines games to appear again, especially mm2, my favorite, but nobody's gonna bother with the license after several decades (3 and 4 went 3d, wasn't a fan, and 4 had starforce drm, if anybody remembers).

Only minor criticism is the single player campaign is quite short, took me 3 or 4 hours to 100% the single player content but I did enjoy every second. Also, it's a travesty that this game has been delisted!

Un buen juego de carreras de tipo Micro Machines, actualizado a tiempos mas modernos con graficos actuales pero mismo tipo de jugabilidad. Tanto los coches como los circuitos estan bien diseñados pero se echa de menos que no sea un producto franquiciado al tipo micromachines o hotweels, mas que nada porque se podria haber explotado el concepto mucho mas metiendo diseños mas miticos de la marca. Tambien se le podia haber dado mas vida y contenido, a fecha de esta review y ya descatalogado, he podido jugar online con gente asi que se sigue jugando y si que se podria haber hecho algo mejor en este sentido y darle una rejugabilidad mayor dandole algo mas de soporte. De todas formas un buen juego para echarse unas partidillas.

This game is a masterpiece. The races and maps are so fun to play but when the AI cars overtake you it's all about getting that position back. The is rewarding from last place to 1st feels really good. The cars look nice and the gameplay gets repetitive but so what? This is a toy car game and it's super good! Would be fun with friends too. Get this game.. somehow? Just try it out it is super fun!

Its a really fun and simple game. It took me 6.2 Hours to get all achievements for it as well as do everything the game has to offer. Its a fun party game as well, But I dont have any irl friends anymore.

It's fun for a few races on these funny maps (I love to move the little pretzels around) but the camera is insane stupid. You don't see where to go when in front since the camera is focusing on the cars behind you so I either needed to blindly drive and hope for the best or slow down on purpose.

this was great! i normally dislike lap-based racers (i prefer more "platforming-style" like trackmania), but this was goofy and solid enough that i loved it. i didn't expect to do so, but i was heck-bent on claiming all stars! but also, i refused to unlock the pig-car because ACAB. fantastic game.

I've never played a more infuriating racing game in my life. You get the thrill of sliding all over the map and consistently picking up the worst power ups, while your NPC opponents seem to be driving with glue on their wheels and a lucky charm in their pocket.
On top of that, while the game assets are clean, the maps are underwhelmingly short, there's very little diversity in events, and a minimal amount of power ups. If you're an achievement completionist, good luck, because one of them is locked behind online multiplayer which has been dead since release.
I can't overstate how f'king maddening some of these races are. I'd rather have my hands crushed by a hydraulic press than try to 3-star all tracks.

A positive but a qualified positive here.
The game is bright, colourful fun with a jaunty soundtrack. However there isn't that much to it - six hours in and I've already at least one starred everything apart from the frustratingly difficult final race that perhaps made up 25% of my play time. Set on kitchen tables the game re-utilises lots of assets so some of the 35 tracks feel very familiar. The system for buying new vehicles is fun and providing you rerun events where you've only one or two starred the map you're never short of money to buy them.
I can't find this game is my purchase history so it as probably something that I bought for under £5.00 in a sale ages ago and has then lingered unplayed until I loaded it up a few days ago. The problem with a top down racer is that your view of the road ahead is very limited so success may depend on being able to memorise the courses. The game goes from reasonably easy at the start to being positively punitive in cups 6 and 7 with any mistakes certainly taking away .the chance of a three star score.
It should be viewed as a pocket money game - bought for a few quid, played for a handful of hours, and then probably forgotten unless you've got closely matched friends to play against. I wouldn't recommend it at full price.

I tried to like this game so many times but the camera options make me soooooo frustrated. There is the standard camera which follows the car from behind but it always moves up and down according to obstacles and items on the level and flies to the side or in-front of the car or flies alongside the turn tracking the car. It is just so so frustrating like someone constantly moving the camera while you try to concentrate and you completely lose sense of the car.. The other two settings are top-down and retro top-down and these are restricting the sight of the level because as the name suggest they are top-down. It just meh. If you're fine with these camera settings please go and enjoy the game.

Played this online with several friends and I play it with my 4 year old. It's easy and fun to pick up and play any time. Maps are vibrant and creative and each vehicle class is nicely filled out. My kid loves unlocking and customizing all the vehicles. Highly recommend picking it up, or the 4 pack on sale for friends.

You would expect much more from Codemasters than this. I mean, it's fun to play for a while, but it's nothing amazing. It feels a bit like a classic Micro Machines game, but it's not really that engaging. You'll get bored with the game pretty fast if you are playing alone. It might be worth it only during a sale and if you plan to play with a bunch of friends in co-op.

Идеально совместима с SteamDeck, имеет в меру сложные достижения, но есть достижения за мультиплеер который сейчас мертв.
У игры странное позиционирование, для детей она будет слишком сложной, особенно после 3-4 этапа, а для взрослых не интересной.

Не рекомендую, но по соотношению цена/качество отзыв положителен.

L'atmosphère m'a rappelé celle de Toy Commander et comment ce serait cool d'en voir un remake un jour.
At the beggining with a worse graphic card i could play, now that i have a better one i wasnt able to open the game, you cant force resolution by setting: -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
There are 3 solutions in a guide on the guides tab of this game here on steam.
And there is an improvement for one of them:
Change the resolution of your pc to 720, after that you can open the game, then you go to settings and change the resolution to 1080, ahfter that the game will crash and close. Then you chage the pc resolution back to 1080 and finally opening after that on 1080 from the start forever and ever..
That might work for other resolutions too.
Devs should add the resolution options before starting the game.
The game got a very small amount of bugs, that you wont see often and if you ever see one it wont ruin your experience, most of the dislikes are because of the crash on the start but its a very good game.
Aside of resolution crashes from start, the one thing that could make this game a 8,5 or 9/10 would be the opportunity to play the main campaign in multiplayer.. Like we do on other racing games like Sonic all star racing transformed, and the first one, and BlazeRush.
Brings me back to the micro machine days of the 90s.. good.
The game crashes at first, but the Community has the fixes. Once fixed, its a nice and fun game.
Not good. The game opens in 720p and pretty much crashes immediately on start up, unless you switch your desktop resolution to 720p. Then when you change the in-game resolution to your desktop resolution, it'll crash again. THEN you can play this aweso...dreadful little rip-off of Micro Machines that runs at 44fps.
Even if you like Micro Machines, just avoid it.
