After 100%ing this game, I can confidently say that this is a real treat. I loved this game from start to end, with how well done the art and environments were, to how good the soundtrack is, to how well balanced the game is, it felt like a real challenge through and through, and an enjoyable one at that. This game perfectly emulates the difficulty and feel of an old-school first person DRPG, while also adding in QOL features you may have been wishing for in those older titles. The game oozes with charm, care, and love, and I can't stress enough how much amazing this game is. It's so rare, especially recently, for me to be hooked on a game and want to come back again and again when I have to put it down for rest or work.

TL;DR, Get this game if you're thinking about it. It's hard, but it gives you all the tools you need to help with the difficulty. MAKE SURE TO CHECK ENEMIES ITEMS AFTER HIJACKING THEM, THEY CAN BE AMAZING DROPS!!! ALSO FARM THEM FOR CASH ALWAYS!!! ALSO AUTO HEAL HEALS FROM THE STOCK SLEEPERS, NOT ACTIVE PARTY!!

I also wanted to add in a section dedicated to SMT fans, as this game perfectly emulates that SMT I/II/ Soul Hackers era of megaten as its fun as hell to explore the dungeons. The fusion is a bit different but something you can definitely get behind. Combat is almost 1:1, even a bit better in some cases. Negotiations are a fun minigame of bullet hell, and much more, dont wanna spoil everything.

One last note to the developers themselves, thank you. Thank you for making such an amazing game and putting as much love, care, and support that you guys did because it shows, even post launch, making the game better and adding steam workshop support. This game is amazing and if you make a sequel (Maybe in the style of PSX/ sega saturn megaten wink wink), I would buy it in a heartbeat because its clear that you all are passionate for this game genre.

Anyways, I've talked for too long. This game is a 9/10, only because the story is kind of in the background most of the time, but I also think that shows how much quality is in this game if its THAT good even if the story isn't comparable to other games in this genre. If there was a deeper story, I think this game would be a 10/10, hands down. (Also, .5 point off cause dark rooms are wayyy to punishing lol.)

Первый опыт в подобных играх, и могу с уверенностью сказать, что мне понравилось

Игра спокойно завлекла меня на 61 час игры. В целом игра мне понравилась, но отмечу один минус: некоторые локации очень противные и бесят, а именно: бамбуковый лес, этаж монолита спящего с невидимой картой и Пандемоний. Весь.

Единственное, что и вправду расстроило, это то, что оказалось, что с моим отрядом, с которым я прошёл всю игру, практически не меняя его, просто ну невозможно победить Шинки и выйти на концовку C

Короткая оценка игры:
Музыка — 9/10 Звучит хорошо, прямо в стиле игр эпохи PC98
Геймплей — 10/10 (Оцениваю для этого жанра и за неимением опыта в других подобных играх)
Локации — 8/10 В целом хорошие, но некоторые прям бесят
Сюжет — 10/10 Хороший сюжет, за ним интересно наблюдать

Nice little classic SMT-style game with a Touhou skin. Banger soundtracks, challenging fights. You don't need to know anything about either to like this one, although some knowledge on the classic SMT gameplay helps you out here. For less than 10 bucks, it's really good.

if you must know what the game is like, its right there in the pitch: its a blend of classic Shin Megami Tensei and Touhou Project. and it is really really good at that. the music is great, the exploration and the battles are fun. the difficulty is pretty reasonable for this kind of game, but there are some spikes that might leave you in the dust if you are not ready. nothing that a little bit of grinding couldnt solve though. speaking of which, the game is much less grindy than i expected; if you make a point to explore the entire map for every area you encounter, you will probably gain enough experience from random encounters to go through fine.

This is the best SMT game released in decades. A fun classic SMT system with an all new roster characters to collect. It's a super cool throwback to roots of that series, with the added Touhou twist. Feels like it was made with love from superfans of both series. Almost all of the Touhou Characters are here, even ones that have only ever appeared in the manga. Even the deepest cut PC-98 freaks. Bullet pattern references to every game in the series. Highly recommended if you like either series or just like DRPGs in general.
