(time played note: ive played dozens of hours of this with friends... but i wasn't hosting lol)
probably the best Jackbox game released so far. it doesn't require you to be funny, or draw, or do anything but use your brain- and it still ends up being a really fun, really funny time. not every mode is great, but the good ones are endlessly replayable with all sorts of groups of people. and while they might not be great at every category, it's pretty kid-friendly too (if you adjust the options appropriately). if you only get one Jackbox game, get this one.

My friends typically don't like the trivia games as much as the funny games since we can't just say "boy p*ssy" over and over again, but they agree this one is always a good time. Unlike them, I like games guesspionage, but I agree this one is the best. The narrator being so British combined with the presentation make me feel smarter and more sophisticated than when I play any other jackbox game.

Between Guesspionage, Trivia Murder Party, and other Jackbox trivia games, Survey Scramble has been the only pure trivia game that I've seen that's appeals to everyone. I have the streaming, Discord, and in-person hours to back up that claim. Part of that is because it's not just one game, but a set of complementary games.

Each game has the same core tenets. Your group gets to choose between 1 of 3 ranked list of a couple of hundred most popular answers to a question. The game is either two teams or every person for themselves, and besides Speed you get a bit of time to submit your entry.

The top entries aren't necessarily going to be the best answers for the question, but what pops to people's mind most frequently. Likewise, the deeper answers might be the same train of thought but an alternative take. Fishing for a high and a low entry rewards you for breadth and depth of thinking patterns.

Some games simply ask for the best and worst answer, like Hi Lo or Dares, some ask you to snipe a specific position or range, like Bounce or Squares, and some ask you to choose the best guess from a few options. Half the fun of the game is seeing where a guess makes it on the list, and it's fun working with others to crush your friends.

Between picking what the category is, picking the type of experience, and picking when it ends, this does feel like the best trivia game for any setting. It's not revolutionary, but it's telling to how well catered it is that there's usually a healthy mix of people who come out on top.

It's an interesting spin on the Guesspionage game, but it tries to do too much and gets tiresome very quickly. Also answers lack moderation* - there are horrible answers that don't even make sense. Sure, it's worth a few bucks for a couple of hours of fun, but it could have been better.

*Example - top bad habits: sports, driving, sleeping, eating, sex, etc.

I have most of the jackbox party packs and this is by far the best jackbox game they've made. All my friends that play it like it and each round of hilo only takes about 5-10 minutes.

All they need to change is make some answers more granular (require more specific answers than something broad like food or clothes) and don't allow just random words (require answers to fit the prompt) and this would be perfect. Whoever came up with family feud but 500 possible answers instead of just 8 is actually a legit genius.

I just got my friends together and got them to help me do the achievements which was awesome o do as we could do the games normally to get certain amounts of achievements before focusing in on the ones that are more specific. So shout out to them for that!

Its pretty much a set of minigames that use the same statistics for the games. With the other games, your group is going to decent into sex jokes and other in jokes. With this, the topics are picked for you. Some topics are going to have results that are just as wild as the things you regularly type on your phone but overall its some good natured fun.

I would especially recommend this if you inviting the more mature adult friends over, the ones you don't know to well, or the girls (one of which you might have a crush on) that you don't want to weird out.

Objectively the best jackbox game out there. Incredibly easy to pick up with the guideline being something incredibly simple and a concept that is expanded upon in a bunch of different gamemodes that are fun alone or even with a bunch of others. The best comparison i can give to this is family feud if you were able to play, and it actually made sense. It's really fun to peace through random survey results and just flabberghast at the answers. It's stupid fun that virtually anyone can enjoy. No stupidly specific trivia questions, No trick questions, No agregious inside jokes, just some general questions and general answers, and it's executed in possibly the best way I could have ever expected.

this company is terrible. One of their games, "murder party 2", is included in 2 packs they sell: in a party bundle and in the starter pack. There is a translation for my language BUT ONLY in the starter pack, and not in the PARTY pack.
They INTENTIONALLY want you to buy another bundle, the starter pack, of which I own ALL games already from buying all their stupid party packs, but JUST FOR THE TRANSLATION they want me to pay their stupidly high prices for their browser games with extra steps.

Jackbox games are always a fun time, but can be really pricey especially considering each pack only has 1-2 good games and the rest are filler games. Well, this one (kinda) solves that and only costs $10, and while it only has one game, its a fun one for sure. Some Jackbox games are pure comedy, and others require strategey and smarts. Well, this one is a perfect mix of both.

If you're cheap and just wanna easy Jackbox game to play with friends, this is the one.

The game is sort of fun, but ... it have a huge problem : the game ask you the most answered word of a question, but some answer are not necessary related to the question. For example if the game ask you the most terrifying animal, the answer will not be the most terryfing animal, but most common animal. So cat might be above tiger just because people will think more about cat than tiger.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a standalone game, so I picked this one up on sale. Since then, it's become one of my favorites to do with family and friends. It's got a whole bunch of game modes built into one that you can tour or just choose one game mode at a time, all of them centered around surveys and their results. While it looks to be a standalone game, it's basically a miniature party pack built around that central gimmick of surveys and is definitely worth it!

Una excelente entrega de Jackbox. Diría que es una de mis favoritas, honestamente. El precio es extremadamente accesible y la rejugabilidad está en otro nivel. No ha habido otro juego de Jackbox que haya jugado por tanto en una única sesión.

En cuanto a los modos incluidos:
- Altibajos: Un gran modo, perfecto para empezar. Aunque siento que la comparación del final es algo inútil. Agregaría una más en el medio (entre lo más alto y lo más bajo) y haría que dé más puntos. Aparte de eso, excelente. 8,5/10.
- Gato: El mejor modo por lejos. Es muy entretenido pensar estrategias sobre qué posiblemente podría estar en cierta posición, y no simplemente pensar lo más bajo o lo más alto. El modo difícil te quita tu turno luego de adivinar incorrectamente 3 veces. Además, existe la opción de mezclar las posiciones de cada cuadrado, haciendo un desafío adicional. El mejor modo sin dudas. 10/10.
- Velocidad: No está mal, aunque soy muy malo en este. También, aquellos con teclado físico van a tener una clara ventaja por sobre los que usan celular. No tengo mucha necesidad de jugar este sobre Altibajos. 6/10.
- Rebote: Eh. Entiendo la idea, pero es muy difícil en la ejecución. No ayuda que en Discord hay una desventaja de delay para quienes ven la transmisión. Las opciones adicionales que tiene mejoran un poco la experiencia pero sigue requiriendo un rework completo para mí. No tanto de mi agrado pero para jugar una que otra vez no está mal. 7/10.
- Retos: Honestamente, un Altibajos mejor y un Guesspionage mejor a la vez. No diría que es el modo para introducir a nuevos jugadores, pero ciertamente divertido. 9/10.
- Carrera: Mi segundo modo favorito. Muy rápido, no hay que pensar respuestas que no existen y las estrategias son geniales. 9,5/10.

Ahora, el problema más grande de este juego está en...las preguntas y las respuestas. Son pocas preguntas en general (unas 250) por lo que es probable que encuentres alguna repetida en alguna ocasión (nos pasó). Aunque es entendible que al hacer tantas encuestas no se pueden tener tanta cantidad de preguntas. Pero respecto a las respuestas, es obvio que las encuestas no fueron hechas con Latinoamérica en mente (a juzgar por las encuestas iniciales siendo...solo en inglés). Tengo curiosidad de dónde sacaron los resultados, ya que ciertamente cosas como "palabras con J" no deben poder transferirse fácilmente. Pero incluso en inglés es algo estúpido que una palabra en singular y una palabra en plural sean respuestas diferentes, cuando deberían ser sinónimos.

De todos modos, es una mínima queja. La pasé bien de principio a fin en cada una de mis partidas. 9,5/10.

Hilo: Probably my favorite game mode in this game. Basically, it's one of the simplest concepts, where you simply try to outdo one another by guessing the highest and lowest answers to survey questions. However, there is a spin where you split points who give the same answer, so you're incentivized to guess good (or bad) answers, but maybe more unique ones if they are otherwise obvious.

Speed: Another fun and simple game mode. This one has each player try to guess as many responses as they can within the time limit. I feel like this one requires little strategy, which can sometimes be fun, but it can also at some points become a bit boring. Good to crack out once or twice here or there, but not really one to keep coming back to.

Squares: Here, you are placed on teams and must guess responses in certain ranges in a game of Tic-Tac-Toe. However, you can also steal squares from the other team by guessing a higher response within the same range of the square. Pretty fun gameplay.

Bounce: Probably my least favorite game mode on here. It's basically Pong where teams take turns guessing survey responses to move the "paddle" to certain spots to keep the ball from scoring on you. Really interesting concept, but I find the execution lacking. It is really difficult to reliably control the "paddle," and when you are able, it becomes fairly easy to consistently do so with just a handful of responses, decreasing the creativity that must be involved, almost making this more of a memory game.

Dash: I had a lot of fun with this game mode. Basically, you are racing to get to the end by guessing which survey responses are more popular than others. You can only move forward, but you can double down to move forward twice as far if you get it correct or move backwards if you get it wrong. You are given the responses to guess from instead of having to think of them yourself, which may be the one flaw, but it is still a nice spin and almost a mix between trivia and surveys un that respect.

Dare: Another game mode I found really fun. Basically, one of your friends challenges you to guess a survey response that is either more or less popular than another one. Your friends then guess whether you indeed got it higher or lower. It is a little limited in that you only have one variable, but I still find it fun to make these kinds of guesses.

In general, I found this game really surprising. This is not entirely up Jackbox's alley, but they executed really well for the most part and made it their own. It is one that I periodically return to with my friends.

I own almost every Jackbox game but this is is probably the most fun and engaging for up to 8 players. Everyone was hooked and invested , maybe in the future we can get some iteration of family feud for up to 10 players. This game stood out more than any other Jackbox game to date.

This is the one Jackbox game that gives you the most fun for the least investment and is the first Jackbox game anyone should buy. The simple premise of guessing survey answers is made so much more fun by the huge scope (up to 500 answers per survey), the 5 varied game modes you have to compete with friends in that get you thinking about the survey in different ways (Bounce sucks, doesn't count), and the excellent audio-visual package that's felt lacking in more recent Jackbox games but not here.

The one caveat is if you're someone who expects serious, scientifically vetted answers and people taking the surveys seriously, you should pass on this game - it requires you to try and put yourselves in the shoes of an imagined group of people and think about what they might casually answer. The ONLY thing I think is actually missing though is a way to somehow let people add their own surveys, as I'm going to be really sad when me and my friends eventually play every single survey.

Very good spinoff! Party Pack 10 and The Naughty Pack were pretty big letdowns (though I still liked parts of 10), but this was really fun! It's basically Family Feud, but all the answers are submitted by everyone who has ever played the game. Tons of different modes that are all fun and very easy to understand! Only thing I would suggest is adding Single-Player, there's no actual reason it needs to be Multi-Player only. Definitely would love to see more smaller scale projects like this in the future.

Played this game with a bunch of coworkers, conveniently enough at a "Big Data" company, and we LOVED it! The only gripe in the crowd was that only 8 people could play at a time. Otherwise, it was a huge hit. We'll definitely be making this a regular event.

No sabía que un juego estilo "100 personas dijeron" pudiera tener tantas maneras de jugarse. Lo mejor es que antes de cada partida se le consulta a los participantes cual tema les parece más interesante para jugar, y hay temas de todo tipo.
Tiene modos competitivos (todos contra todos) y cooperativos en grupos, para cambiar un poco las dinámicas.

A good addition to jackbox, but a bit smaller in content, but nothing super amazing, just regular enjoyable party games, akin to guesspionage or quixort style games. Just mix it with the other packs to taste. It's a mixed bag, you gotta play the games you like from the packs you like. The megapicker helps you find the ones you like, faster, but only if you bought the other packs via steam.

A fun addition to the Jackbox Games.
We played this for hours on end. The tour mode is a great way to get to know all the different gamemodes, although we found ourself choosing the games individually, because we don't really like the bounce gamemode. The other gamemodes are all very fun, especially the squares gamemode (which is a sort of tic-tac-toe) when you play it in teams.

If you are looking for a good time with friends or family this is a great game.
