Super cool concept, all 5 titles were fun to playthrough. None of them rely on jump scares, instead they are atmospheric and have more "impending doom" feelings to them which makes it better IMO

Не передать словами сколько мурашек я словил за прохождение всех пяти игр. Сделать короткие и при этом такие атмосферные, страшные, интересные игры надо уметь. Игра не нагоняет типичный страх бабаек, а ужас от осознания происходящего. А как оформлен лаунчер, красота да и только. И это при условии, что оно БЕСПЛАТНО. В это должен поиграть каждый.

Une super manière de découvrir Mike Klubnika en 1h. Une atmosphère unique et un stress constant, il recréé bien un sentiment d'oppression et des questionnement sur notre valeur humaine dans un système incompréhensible qui paraît gigantesque et inébranlable.

I've heard of this game watching a video from the YouTuber ACIDRAMA that talked about Mike Klubnika and had to try it out before continuing the video. These 5 small horror games do a great job making you anxious, paranoid and stressed and that's all you want from horror games so good job ! I wouldn't have minded paying for these games but it being free is just another reason to simply try it out. Thank you Mike Klubnika for making great games !

A fantastic collection of 5 very short games. It’s tough to choose a favorite. Maybe Carbon Steel? Tartarus Engine is equally good too.

Mike Strawberry is a true genius — been following his work for a while and really enjoyed this horror collection. Interesting little dystopian stories, highly recommend.
Something about this art style makes me feel good. The games are short horror stories essentially but pretty well made. I would LOVE to sit and make a game with this style art.

This is a good collection of 5 short horror games in a low poly and dirty style,
1st game : The Other Side - A game set in a mysterious complex thing that keeps everyone away from the outside for an unknown reason, one who walks out is one who does not return alive. But curiosity takes over and you begin drilling your way out, With a timer and the chore of fixing and maintaining the drill, you finally get out and see the sky..
2nd game : Control Room Alpha - Welcome to a weird facility where your task is to collect some weird things from a big hole with spiders in it with a crane while you are being guided by an instructor with an extremely stereotypical russian accent! Not really too scary or fun unless you cant stand spiders
3rd game : Carbon Steel - Welcome to yet another weird facility where your task is to collect some weird things from a big hole.. again.. except the things are alive and hostile, Analyze the creatures, sedate, collect and send off to the people above!
4th game : Concrete Tremor - Quite literally Sea Battle except instead of ships on a sheet of paper, its apartment buildings filled with real people! Fun playing god eh?
5th game : Tartarus Engine - The world is held on the strings of a super computer AI thing, You are a part of a small team of people with the task of sabotaging and taking control from the machine, freeing the humanity or something!
The whole experience takes less than 2 hours and is best played in one sitting, Its short but good, Especially considering its FREE!!

Bite-sized (~15 minute) horror one-offs in a nifty retro package, all for the bargain price of free.
'The Other Side' and 'Control Room Alpha' were personal favorites. Start with one of 'em, play the other three, then finish with the other. If you're even vaguely a fan of the horror genre, these are worth your time.

i will be super honest and say that there is very little instruction provided for any of these games when you boot them up. much of the mechanics you just have to sort out for yourself, and sometimes key interactions/buttons can be overlooked by the player (or at least bozos like me) for an embarrassing amount of time. i missed a switch, for example, and didn't understand how to operate a machine for like 5 straight mintues.
that being said it is so kind to make this delightful collection of short horror games free. i think this pack is worth $5 at minimum, but i respect mr mike klubnika for committing to making them free. i think they serve as an excellent proof-of-concept for the feature length game that i hope is coming down the line at some point - although perhaps that is wishful thinking on my part.
just play it. it's quick. theyre not too scary (although deeply unsettling). i will admit i did shriek at least once, but it's nothing crazy. it is just pure vibes, and for job simulator ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me, the whole collection ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules

Très bon jeu à finir en une soirée, une compilation horrifique de 5 petits jeux avec une incroyable DA, le genre de jeux qui te fait vraiment dire que les graphismes sont optionnels pour une expérience comme celle-ci, et gratuit en plus ! Il faut juste connaître son anglais pour aborder le jeu car pas de traduction malheureusement

Short and atmospheric, not really scary but very inspirational tiny games.
Pretty frickin' rad game dudes. No really, it's about 1.5 to 2 hours long and it is pretty damn good. Whether you like Mikes other games, or you like anthology stuff, or you just like games in general, play this. It felt like a crime to be able to play this for FREE. Yea its FREE that's like, so crazy. I'd recommend just sitting down and playing this until you beat it. each game in this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible, and if you end up not liking one of them that much, chances are you'll love another. That's all I'm giving you until you play it yourself. After all, it is FREE. play it.

"Unsorted Horror" is a collection of 5 mediocre low poly horror mini-adventures with rather poor visual presentation, dingy vibes, poor controls, but at least it's free and not an asset flip. Weird how that's rare these days, but the "free" section of Steam Direct really is bloated with garbage. This isn't! So that's something. Not winning any awards, though, there's nothing cool about being the best looking guy in the burns ward.
In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games.
Now on to pricing and value for gamers.
Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on.
Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at less than 100 concurrent players... they couldn't even break three figures! Even though it's free, it's a dismal reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it.
Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library?
This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.

Саспенс мастерски нагнетается через звуки и текст, игру теней и света. Либо обыгрывается безвыходными ситуациями или таймером обратного отсчета. Игры выделяются гнетущей атмосферой, особым визуальным стилем и особенностями геймплея.
Анимаций почти нет, текстуры уровня 1996 года, но атмосферу и какое-то чувство отвращения передает великолепно.

Mike Klubnika has kinda just confirmed to me he's the R.L. Stein of horror games.
None of them are particularly great, but some of them are pretty good. He pumps out a ♥♥♥♥ ton of these within relatively short periods of time, and the games themselves are rather simple and short.
Like he wishes so bad he had something to say, but he doesn't. Everything he makes is just basic creepypasta stuff where half of it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or nonsense and the other half is at least pulpy or over the top. So the best I can say is that it's all entertaining, although like, you know you're not going to get substance or anything.
Замечательнейший набор игр на вечер. Немного юмора, немного триллера, много оригинальности. Впечатляет, что автор успешно создает непрекращающееся гнетущее ощущение у игрока. Как будто над головой висит Дамоклов меч. И от этого ощущения невозможно избавиться вплоть до самого конца.
Сюжетный подход тоже радует. Некоторые истории заставляют призадуматься и пофантазировать о мирах, воплощенных в этих играх.

This is an incredibly solid anthology of short horror titles, and it's boosted heavily by the retro-inspired dystopian soundtrack. Haven't gotten all the endings of "Carbon" but I have played through them all. Highly recommend for any horror or speculative fiction fans!

最喜欢第一个游戏，置身在未知中，整个过程需要操作，没有任何文本且结局很令人意外，是五个游戏里的TOP1。第二个还凑合，虽然开场就能猜出来后面要干什么，但这种明知山有虎偏向虎山行的设计也是很不错的。第三个比较复杂，建议看攻略学下怎么玩，玩法和故事也很一般，流程还是最长的。第四个和第五个有很多对话台词，看不懂再说什么，流程是线性的也不需要什么操作，感觉一般吧。

Хорошо, имеет свой шарм. Как и в других произведениях автора - хоррор тут специфический, более гнетущий и психологически тяжелый. Он завязан не на скримерах , а на том "послевкусии" что мир клубники оставляет после себя.

Awesome game, it feels like I've found a second Junji Ito with his own distinct visual style just doing great horror short stories. The gameplay is a little minimal but I love what these are. If I were to rank them I'd probably go Tartarus Engine > Concrete Tremor > The Other Side > Control Room Alpha > Carbon Steel
Carbon steel mostly suffers from technical problems like it not really explaining how the game is supposed to work at all, so the last level can be impossible if you don't know the gun they've hidden on the wall and don't talk about is a repair gun to fix the container. And it's ending is kind of mid, it's the only one of these games with a fun twist at the end.
Control Room alpha's gameplay is the least interesting I think, it's just a crane game, and the game could have worked it into the final twist easily but doesn't, and it's the shortest.
The other side is fun, it's twist is really fun, I was expecting something way more boring, and I'm glad I was wrong. The gameplay of this is also my favorite. I find it super satisfying to do and the timer at the end was a great way of keeping me on my toes.
Concrete tremor can be frustrating to play because the game wants you to lose, I think seeing the victory ending is kind of perfect though, it's what makes that game great. If you're struggling, the opponents buildings are always in the same position, so you can keep track of any you hit in previous runs on a notepad to clear it easily. t's a really fun twist. This game also captures a unique grandness and unique pointlessness I love.
Tartarus Engine is incredible, I really really love it. I love how little it explains, I love the twist, I love that the main character seems to be the only protagonist who deserves this fate that we've seen. I love the brutalist (for a lack of a better term) imposing architecture that makes you feel tiny, and this game uses it to contrast a tiny maintenance worker with a seemingly infinitely large possibly continent spanning torment nexus. I almost imagine this is what Am must have looked like on the inside.

Every game in this collection is fantastic, definitely check out The Other Side and Tartarus Engine.
Genuinely a great horror collection, with each of the five games included being very unique to one and another. Despite each of the games being very short and not fully scary, they are still fun experiencing. The third game (Carbon Steel) is best one out of all in the collection, however it and the rest of the collection can be very confusing to play but once you understand how each of the games work, they are definitely enjoyable. Along with that, the music and atmosphere are great, that disc selection was very well presented and lastly, it's free too and after going through every game, I think it was worth giving the collection a try.
Very well done, highly recommended!

Die kleine Gratis-Sammlung von fünf Horrorgames ist einfach nur der Hammer. Das geht schon im Menü los, bei dem man altmodisch eine Disc aus der Hülle nimmt und in ein CD-Laufwerk einschiebt, dessen Geräusche absolute Flashbacks auslösen. Atmosphärisch liefert Mike Klubnika aber auch in den Spielen selbst dank beklemmender Soundkulisse wirklich 1a ab und die Retro-Optik fügt sich sehr gut ins Stimmungsbild ein. Das Grundprinzip ist oft ähnlich, dass man äußerst isoliert eine Maschine bedienen muss und nur spärliche Hinweise diesbezüglich erhält. Die Vorgehensweisen sind dagegen schön ausgeklügelt und manchmal gibt es sogar mehrere Enden, was bei den kurzen Spielzeiten zu einem zweiten Durchgang einlädt. Ich kann mich kaum entscheiden, welches der Spiele am besten war. Zockt einfach alle davon und habt Spaß!

Here's my ranking of all 5 games:
- Carbon Steel (the longest and the best out of all the five games. I wished it was longer. It's truly an interesting idea and story that would make a great game on its own if done right.)
- Tartarus Engine (at some point I thought the game crashed)
- Concrete Tremor (This is just Battleship but with a twist and I liked that... I also lost so...)
- The Other Side (very good made me feel a bit tense.)
- Control Room Alpha (fine, not very impressive)
All these games have interesting ideas and the puzzles are simple but fun. I especially liked the music and the general atmosphere of these games.
