演奏ゲームはとても面白いです。正規の太鼓の達人をpcで遊べるのはうれしいです。
ただ、オンラインマッチの仕様が酷いです。以前の家庭版太鼓の達人のオンラインマッチのようにプレイヤーのランクマッチでのプレイデータをサーバーに保管してそのまま出すシステムに戻してほしいです。
過疎化が進んでいてB-に上がると全くマッチしません。
過疎化は仕方がないことですがそれに合わせたランクマッチの仕様変更をしてほしいです。

It's a fun game, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed playing it but the songs selections is very limited and paying £100+ for more songs is actually insanity bro. The game itself already cost almost £50 but hey, it's still fun.

Как по мне это лучший способ играть на ПК.
Сначала будет душить система наград, заставляющая после 4-5 песен идти в главное меню и прокручивать "батл пасс". Но когда это закончится, плюс пара модов и игра станет по моему самой удобной версией тайко. Функции типа, что игра запоминает на какой сложности ты играл последнюю песню и при выборе новой сразу выбрана эта же сложность, так что кликов до начала игры минимальное, а сортировка по сложности вообще сказка.
Песен с тайко пассом просто завались, а именно на сегодня 970+.
Шероховатости конечно есть, но я не знаю у всех или только у меня, например без сглаживания дон и ка рвано двигаются даже с фрисинк, и звук в игре очень тихий, колонки приходится крутить на максимум и всё равно мало.
Ну и предупреждение, без впн в игру даже зайти не получается. Видимо ркн постарались

Didn't think i would need to make a negative review on this but here I am.

Menuing too me is a bit annoying. This is the first taiko game I've ever played where you can't menu with the drum so you are required to keep a keyboard or controller at the ready. Menu's also feel slow and disorienting as well as inconsistent. Most of the time It's backspace as escape and escape toggles areas or options depending on where you are at. But then is needed to get out of some menu's and leave the game.

Playing ranked is also dang near impossible. When I do find someone, I get beat out on rolls sense my opponent's on keyboard or controller, while I'm on drum.
There's also not a whole lot of fresh content either unless you want to waste money on a pass that is required to have access to all charts. This entry into the taiko series is bland and quite greedy.

You are better off playing opentaiko or playing other console entries.

This is going to be one of the few times I’ve refunded a game on Steam.

To preface this; I love Taiko no Tatsujin. I played a bit of Drum ‘n’ Fun on Switch a few years ago, and a pretty good amount of Taiko Pop Tap on my iPad this year. The gameplay is simple but addictive, the visuals are gorgeous and the characters have fun and adorable designs. I thought to myself, “since my Apple Arcade free trial is running out and my Joy Cons are experiencing Joy Con Drift, so why not get it on Steam?”

Well, I’m for some reason immediately greeted with a weird, boring visual novel-like storyline (which, granted, you can skip, but who in hell plays Taiko no Tatsujin for the story???). Off to a bad start.

Anyway, time to play the game!

The UI sucks; it’s ugly and clunky.

For some reason, unlike in the other titles I’ve played, the animations look slow and robotic.

I also can’t tap on the screen to play the drums (which you could on both the iOS and Switch titles I played, which was the best, easiest and most fun way to play imo), but I can let this one slide since it wasn’t made for a Steam Deck in mind.

There’s less than 100 songs, spread out across different genres, and they’re not even all unlocked from the start! If I want more songs, I need to either get them from expensive DLCs with pre-determined bundles of songs for 1€ a-piece, or buy a stupid subscription service that will presumably just stop existing someday. Also, most of the anime songs are seemingly covers instead of the original, and use the TV-size versions instead of the full ones.

And yes, Drum ‘n’ fun has similar issues to my last point too, but I recall the song selection being much better, and the other issues I mentioned not being there. The presesentation was much better, and there also was a good selection of different characters and minigames.

Now, I was already considering refunding this game, but I recalled there being a modding scene for custom songs; “if the developers won’t make a proper game, maybe the fans will?” I thought.

NOPE! Bandai Namco, in their nonsensical crusade against mods, issue DMCA takedowns against mods and threaten account bans for people using them due to “use of external tools and programs”, which is apparently an “Inappropriate Action” in their Terms of Service.

In short, I expected a fun rhythm game, and instead got a showcase of in evils of capitalism and evil corporations.

This is a great Taiko game, among the best in fact (despite the kinda so-so base song list). This game introduced quite a lot of quality of life improvements missing from other Taiko games (the ability to restart from the results screen, more customization options in terms of how you play, etc.), but I also feel like it's lacking in some ways. The side content (party games) are kinda mediocre in my opinion. Toy Drum war is fun, I don’t have any problems with that, but Don-Chan Band feels quite limiting, with it only having 20 songs available out of the 77-800+ songs the game has to offer. It makes getting the trophies for this mode a slog since you will have to replay the same songs over just to get them. Run! Ninja Dojo is pretty fun, but since it was added post launch in the original Switch release, it lacks any trophies.

As for Taiko Mode, as I said earlier, it’s improved over the last couple of entries thanks to the quality of life improvements, but I am surprised they still never brought back 4-player multiplayer in Taiko Mode. For those unfamiliar, the last 3 Taiko games on Wii and all of the Taiko games on Wii U supported up to 3 players in Taiko mode. This feature was then removed in Drum Session and has yet to ever make a return. It’s a shame since some of my fondest memories playing Taiko back in middle school was playing it with my siblings together, so seeing that it’s still missing all these years later is quite disappointing.

I mentioned how customization improved from a gameplay front in terms of all of the settings, but this sadly doesn’t apply to the look of the game/Don-Chan. I can only assume that due to this originally being a pre-rendered Don-Chan game on Switch, Don-Chan has no facial customization options like how he did back on Wii U and PS4. This is a bit of a bummer imo, but not a huge deal. The rest of the customization is about on par with the other pre-rendered Don-Chan Taiko games (though colors arn’t pre-set thankfully). Now, a feature I would like to see in the future would be the ability to make the game look like Drum Session, or heck, the gen-2 Taiko games. I generally do prefer the look of those games over this, but still, the game does look nice! And thanks to more powerful hardware, Don-Chan is in 3D again!

Online is pretty dead. No one plays very often at all, which is a shame. I feel like this could be fixed by introducing cross-play with the other non-Switch versions, or doing what Drum Session did and allow us to fight player ghost data. Though this could cause the loading screens to be even longer than they already were.

There is content cut from the Switch version (Nintendo songs and the DON DON Fitness mode), but that’s all pretty understandable. The one cut I don’t understand is Furi-furi♪Nori-nori♪. I get that Drum ‘n’ Fun isn’t playable on PC, but conjuring that, why not just make Furi-furi♪Nori-nori♪ a part of the base song list? Also, I wish they made something to replace DON DON Fitness, like maybe bringing back a minigame or 20 from older Taiko games! Aw well!
This review may seem overly negative despite the positive rating, but that’s because I don’t have much to say that hasn’t been said before, this is a great Taiko game! I just hope that the next game adds some of the things I wanted (and they should actually dub it this time!).

ゲーム自体は面白いですが最初に入ってる曲数が少ないです。。
無料なら良いですが6500円のゲームなのでもう少し入っててもいいなとは思いました
サブスクに入っても版権なのか入れてないだけなのかわかりませんが紫薔薇やメドレーなどの人気曲が入ってなかったりしました
あとランクマッチはCならたまにマッチングしますがBより上に行くと一切マッチングしなくなりました
Switch版もあるのとSteam版はSteam版同士でしかマッチングしないので仕方ないかもしれませんが。。
MicrosoftStore版とXbox版はマッチングするらしいですが人口はわかりません
昔のCS版と一緒にするのはだめかもしれませんがストーリーモード的なのが無く、ボス戦などを期待してましたがありません　(ストーリーはあるにはありますが昔のCS版とはかなり異なります)
ゲーム自体は面白いです

サブスクを前提としている。
そのうえサブスクが切れてもサブスクの曲がライブラリに残っており、どれがサブスク対象外の曲かはわからない。
おまけにサブスク対象曲を除くフィルターも無いので、サブスク切れたけど収録曲だけでもやろうはできないといっても過言ではない。
修正されるかは怪しいので、買った人はまず収録曲をライブラリ登録しておかないと地獄を見ます。
