Supervive — Lo que perdimos sin darnos cuenta
Supervive fue uno de esos juegos que aparecen cada tanto y te recuerdan por qué amás los videojuegos. Era un battle royale con perspectiva top-down y un elenco de héroes únicos, pero lo que lo diferenciaba de la masa no era su género sino su ritmo: frenético pero legible, caótico pero justo.
Cada personaje se sentía radicalmente distinto. No era el típico "este tiene más daño, este tiene más vida". Eran kits de habilidades que cambiaban completamente cómo te movías por el mapa, cómo peleabas, cómo escapabas. Dominar un héroe era un viaje en sí mismo.
El mapa no era un fondo decorativo: tenía verticidad, coberturas naturales, zonas que invitaban a emboscadas creativas. Los combates rara vez eran simples intercambios de daño; eran pequeñas batallas tácticas donde el posicionamiento importaba tanto como el puntería.
Y encima de todo eso, tenía una dirección de arte con personalidad propia, música que te metía en la partida, y una comunidad que genuinamente amaba lo que jugaba.
El problema no fue que Supervive fuera malo. El problema fue que llegó a un mercado saturado, sin el respaldo de un gran publisher, compitiendo contra nombres enormes. El 90% de valoraciones positivas en Steam lo dice todo: los que lo jugaron, lo amaron. Simplemente no fueron suficientes.
Supervive es el recordatorio más cruel de que en la industria del videojuego, la calidad no garantiza la supervivencia.
Este es un juego que se basa en la competitividad y agilidad de recursos para poder seguir escalando entre los otros jugadores

如今也是彻底尘埃落定了。说起来我应该是国内第一批接触这个游戏的人，24年9月当时在闲鱼闲逛发现这游戏的内测cdk，游戏荒的我抱着试一试的态度去玩了下，当时还没亚洲服，网速最好的欧服也有两百多的延迟，但当我进入游戏的那一刻，仍然给我带来了极大的震撼，像12年的LOL，16年的守望先锋，我感觉我又找回了以前那种纯粹的快乐，粗糙的建模仍然掩盖不了新颖的玩法，当时的我很肯定这绝对是下一款爆火的游戏。
来到25年，这一年认识了很多同好，经历了很多有趣的事，参加了官方的测试，也打了比赛拿了冠军，那时应该是我目前为止人生最快乐的时候，可惜一切都在开发者傲慢的态度中一点点毁掉（开发者的傲慢毁掉了一切，作为一款网游工作室，居然采取居家办公？产出慢，更新少，还试图训导玩家。甚至游戏后期，好几款皮肤还是网易做的。这里得帮网易说几句，军械库版本内部测试时，所有测试玩家都不对军械库版本看好，但在国内的反馈提交后，国外开发者仍然不予采纳，坚持要上线军械库，直接把玩家对这款游戏的期待腰斩。）之后随着日渐稀少的玩家和网易的撤资，这款游戏也被历史埋没。还是挺感伤的，明明是一款潜力很大的游戏，但受限于开发者技术力和经验不足，只能看着一点点走向死亡。希望以后还能遇见能让我眼前一亮的游戏，但我可能已经不是少年时的我了

This game is amazing. I tried to log in one day and it wouldn't do it, turns out the game is shut down. I had spent money on boosts and cosmetics to support, I should have played it more while I could I guess. Very sad, I'm crying...
A great free to play game that died far too soon. I swear it would have done amazing if it had any spread via word of mouth or even perhaps gone cross play with mobile. The controls felt similar to a cross play mobile game and would have only needed some minor tweaks for accessibility and reading, but man... this game should have gained a following for sure.
I hope someday someone may pick it up again and restart it with the ability to advertise better.
Please come back... heck even the biggest Kickstarter FLOP Guns of Icarus is supposedly returning so I have hope someday you will come back

I'll miss the game. Hope you bring it back one day with a determined direction. Honestly I have no idea what you wanted this game to be. Battle royal, but also MOBA jungle objectives. I would go into every game asking my team to not fight and to do quests and get gold before we engage anyone, but usually they never did. Most people would land and immediately fight anyone they see and I had no gold for anything.
Si bien el apartado visual y la fluidez de los combos lograban una atmósfera envolvente, el juego cayó en la trampa de la sobrecomplicación. Aquí es donde surge la paradoja: lo que visualmente atraía, mecánicamente alejaba. El Sistema Prisma, a pesar de su propuesta innovadora, terminó siendo el punto de ruptura para una comunidad que buscaba la profundidad estratégica de un LoL o Dota.
Sin duda el juego mantuvo durante un tiempo su vitoreo, pero no puedes esperar competir con los dos grandes tan pronto, creo que lo sucedido aquí fue la pésima retención de jugadores.
Pasé muy buenos momentos, sin duda extrañaré jugar con mi Super Eve!

I played this a little before it was called SUPERVIVE, named Project Loki, and as a League of Legends main since 2011 I thought this game would be what got me to move on.
Theorycraft Games is a cautionary tale.
It was a game built for high-skill and competitive players. Somebody who might enjoy MOBAs and battle royales. SUPERVIVE gave players an even playing field if they were willing to relearn systems.
It sounded perfect, but at some point I realized it wasn't. I wanted DotA depth with battle royale simplicity. But you can't have your cake and eat it too. Combine this with hero shooter readability and extraction-ish pacing and I just kept asking myself, "What is this game, exactly?"
I was frustrated with LoL, and even though SUPERVIVE looked like my "escape", it wasn't enough to pull me out of the sunk cost. My friends didn't care about this game.
First impressions are everything, and the movement felt great. Combat had depth. But the match structure didn't give me that "one more game" feeling. The long-term hooks for me just weren't there. They were competing with gameplay, but League of Legends, Fortnite, etc. don't just compete on gameplay. They own my habits, my friend groups, my entire life. Breaking that is INSANELY difficult.
SUPERVIVE was interesting. It just wasn't addictive yet. And it's important to know that those are not the same thing. Theorycraft Games built a game for people like me who wish they'd quit League.
Not for people who actually will.

Great game! Last time I played I believe the qeu time was long. Shame the game is not on Epic Games, otherwise Id still play it. 10/10 but needs more players active. Also, this game has support for ultra wide 49inch monitor so thats super great, good thing that they consider us niche gamers.

Extremely dissapointed that the devs chose this route. This game had so much potential and the characters + game play was so much fun. It was the only BR that I actually enjoyed, plus the concept was unique. I really wish the devs didn't give up so quickly and listened to the community more.
I hope one day they can revive the game as I now have more peeps that love my lil Bebo and Alune :((

This was genuinely such a promising game, Easily could of seen big numbers at esports tourneys if the interest was there. I played live servers, never touched closed servers but still enjoyed absolutely everything the game put out. Only stopped playing becasue the player base dropped. Actually sad for the shutdown

I was GM in beta, they did a radical change of the game without warning on release, and didnt really run any marketing on release, they changed the item system into an earnable gotcha system that punished new players for not playing the game like a full time job. They also reduced the team size down to 3, a change I personally thought was pretty stupid, they ran a 50 thousand dollar tournament with some of the old League of Legends pros winning, but seemingly didn't have any money for marketing on release, they coulda donated 10k to Moistcritical and the game would still be up, I guarantee it. One of the funnest games I have ever played in my life, true addiction, a lot of the players will try to gaslight you into believing “the game just wasn't good enough” but I promise you, the game was sick, the devs just dropped the ball on release and didn't put enough money into marketing. It's as simple as that. They had gold and blew it. They had months to test the changes they nuked us with. If your opinion is that “We had the player base but lost it because the game just wasn't fun” You might be delusional. The same people saying that, had over 1k hours on the game. Like, genuinely frustrating to watch them systematically destroy my drug of choice. It felt so intentional too. Almost like riot paid them off to run it down mid after realizing they had a better game, idk. I've seen a lot of games come and go, but this one, this one should be popping tf off, and I refuse to accept that the reason it got shut down is because “game bad”. Game not bad. P.s maybe if they put a wizard on…

Fue un juego increíble, lo disfruté bastante, una pena que haya tenido que cerrar. ♥
Играл со старта (на 2 сезон не залетел, в других играх был), игра понравилась, играл пачкой. Решил вспомнить за игру... Чекнул онлайн до запуска на стим.дб и чёт прифигел. Ну а потом увидел, что игра закрыта. А ведь даже донил в неё. Жаль, очень жаль. Не первая, и печально, что не последняя хорошая игра, которую закрыли/закроют.

le vicie mucho a este juego, era muy dinamico, frenetico y era muy buena introduccion para gente que no esta acostumbrada a mobas complejos, una lastima que justo cuando lo encontre ya estaba en sus ultimos momentos, un excelente juego con una pesima recepcion por parte de la audiencia, una pena gigante la verdad, ojala quede algo de esperanza para que vuelva en un futuro.

great game ruined by devs who made meta progression. makes it even more insurmountable for new players to learn, and turns off any returning players. shouldve stuck to in game progression and thats it, dont try to "revolutionize" the genre. do what league, smite, deadlock, all do and you would be fine.
