Super Switch могла бы стать если не отличным платформером, то хорошим, заслужив свои 83% положительных отзывов. Однако, ряд серьезных недостатков сводит на нет ее достоинства, оставляя после прохождения (чего я не сделал на 100% ибо у меня ЛИЧНО вопрос к разрабу: ты сам лично проходил уровни zone 2 (3), zone 3 (3) и вообще всю последнюю синюю zone 4 (кроме 1 и 3 уровня)?) смешанные чувства.
1. Первое и самое важное - неудобное управление с клавиатуры. Комбинация пробела и шифта часто не срабатывает, что критично для точного выполнения прыжков и переключений. Возможно, на геймпаде эта проблема не так ощутима, но на клавиатуре игра превращается в мучение.
2. Второй существенный минус - недоработанный платформинг как таковой. Super Switch явно пытается подражать хардкорным платформерам, вроде Super Meat Boy, но по факту больше напоминает плоский Geometry Dash 2.2. Игровой процесс сводится к однообразным движениям, связанным с переключением препятствий и прыжками. Да, пройти уровни можно, но часто ценой невероятных усилий и с ощущением, что успех зависел больше от удачи, чем от мастерства. Некоторые уровни и вовсе кажутся непроходимыми.
2.1 Как я и отметил выше - именно те уровни в начале отзыва если не заставят ваше очко полыхать, то точно заколебут до смерти. ОНИ НЕВОЗМОЖНЫ ЛИЧНО ДЛЯ МЕНЯ - на некоторых просто убогий тайминг, а некоторые порой, как раз и зависят от момента - то стрелочки не сработают, то ты прыгнешь на 1мм. от края дальше и не долетишь и т.п.
3 Убогий геймдизайн - еще один камень в огород Super Switch. Главное меню настолько яркое, что рискуешь ослепнуть. Шрифт меню при этом сливается с фоном, затрудняя навигацию. Игра разделена на 40 уровней, сгруппированных в 4 зоны, но эти зоны ничем не выделяются, не имеют уникальной атмосферы или геймплейных особенностей. Если первую зону (красная) еще можно пройти с трудом, фиолетовую и зеленую еле-еле (1000 смертей спустя - И ЭТО НЕ ШУТКА) то синяя зона превращается в настоящий ад, полный нечестных и непроходимых препятствий.
Ну и буду, отныне, ныть теперь, если прям все критично на подобные игры дополнительно: нет Steam Cloud. Я конечно не программист, но я считаю, что не все инди наработки нужно срать, как например, это часто делает пользователь Obey the Fist! (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198030784015 - я ничего против не имею, но далеко не со всеми "конструктивными" разборами согласен). Но не в сраче дело. А дело в том, что иногда хочется чтобы что то мелкое, но нечто самобытное и интересное было про запас в профиле игрока.
Короче, если вы скупаете все подряд и крафтите значки - цены пока на момент (18.07.2025) не кусачие, берите. Если вы разборчивый покупатель - не берите.

Not great but not terrible. Enjoyable music and the game controls fine but a few levels are genuinely badly designed, and require you throwing yourself at them over and over until the speed boosts decide to push you in the specific way you need to get throught the level. Ultimately took me 2.2 hours and 965 deaths to beat all 40 levels with mediocre skill at 2D platformers. Games like this are the type I wish neutral ratings existed on Steam, but it's fine enough I suppose, so thumbs up it is.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Super Switch is an addictive platformer game that requires the player to actively switch between two dimensions. The game is incredibly difficult, but it gives great satisfaction from winning.
I've enjoyed spending some time playing Super Switch, and I can say with confidence that it's one of the most exciting games I've played lately.
Super Switch at it's core is very promising, but it's rough around the edges and in it's current state I can't fully recommend it.
The minimalistic design is easy to understand, the soundtrack was fun, and the player controls feel good, but having to hold down the trigger buttons to "switch" and stay switched leads to some delays in switching and I wish some of the unused face buttons could also be used for switching.
The frame rate also dropped numerous times which in a precision platformer you don't want to happen and the level select screen is finicky and constantly switches between zones when trying to select a level. I also constantly struggled with the acceleration arrows and figuring out the timing for those and to get them to do what I needed them to.

Сложный платформер с интересной реализацией механики переключения разных измерений. Всё настолько добротно сделано, что придраться можно разве что к заезженным трекам из бесплатной библиотеки (автор делал всё кроме звуков, музыки и шрифтов). Хотя... здесь очень уместно будет рекомендовать играть на геймпаде, ибо для удержания квадратика-главгероя в другом измерении необходимо зажимать клавишу.
Super Switch is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, SA Industry/ZemunBRE (this guy uses a lot of sockpuppet accounts to hide his identity and mislead gamers). This guy does nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab.
Super Switch itself is nothing remarkable at all, it's a basic Unity platformer template that's been skinned in the laziest way possible with some badly slapped together platformer levels (not many) and a weak phasing gimmick that's been done a hundred times by far better developers with far better results.
David Mulder/SA Industry have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts like ZemunBRE etc (uses the same support email address, so you know, same person, unless there's two people who use one email account). Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers.
The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2016), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Super Switch has the completely unrealistic cash grab price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.

Норм игра, но я хотел бы чтоб тут были чекпоинты.Я получил её за 13 руб.
Купил игру по скидке , думал очередная ерунда , а оказалось что вполне играбельно. Плюсы : развивает маторику рук , реакцию , логику, легкая в управлении. Someone decided the switch button, which must be pressed and released rapidly, should be the analogue/pressure sensitive triggers on the controller, so there is a faction of a second between me starting to release the button and it actually making the switch.
This fact causes death.
I would try rebinding the button, or even trying to use the keyboard, but one of the binding slots requires an analogue input, and the other doesn't seem to work regardless of what button I put in.
Unfortunately, from what I've seen of the game so far, I suspect that even if this issue was resolved I would still be left with a functional, but uninteresting precision platformer.
