Street Hoop, known in Japan as Dunk Dream and known in North America as Street Slam, is a basketball video game developed by Data East for Neo-Geo, released in 1994. The game features three-on-three basketball match-ups with a variety of different teams.

Why are there no sound settings? I play similar games in the background while doing other audio things, there are no settings here, for which I paid a serious amount for my country. The game is good, but the adaptation is terrible, you can't add skylines like on other games, there aren't even any sound settings. .Почему нет настроек звука? fantastic old school street basketball game. i read somewhere that it's soon gonna be discontinued here on Steam, at least temporarily. the devs plans to relist it later apparently. idk what's going on tbh. but it's a really cool old game

- The CPU seems to play great defense
- The music is fun
Cons
- Game is borderline unplayable. Remapping the shoot button only works on RT on my gamepad and does not work at all on keybaord
- Steal and pass are 1 button. Shoot and block are 1 button. This would be less of an issue if remapping the keys worked.
- Menu controls are confusing

Seems like a great game but the controls are a big issue.

나도 그렇지만 사람들도 어마 무시하게 좋아햇던 게임이다 모션 브금 골을 넣엇을때의 타격감 마저 엄청낫던 게임 대전도 물론 가능
2편과는 다르게 필살슛을 방어할수 없기때문에
필살슛이 시동되면 걍 쳐다만봐야한다ㅋㅋ
난 2편보다 1편을 더 좋아햇던게 2편은 필살슛을 게이지로 채워서 방어할수있고 기술들이 늘어낫지만 왜인지 그래픽이 오히려 너프된 느낌이고 1편보다 경박스러워졋다 그래도 2편도 내주길 바랫것만..

This is an awesome game, one of my favorites on NEO GEO. However, this port is terrible: there are no graphics settings or dip-switches. You are forced to play in a 4:3 aspect ratio with a blurry screen and no scanlines. You can't adjust the difficulty level. All these options are available on the original MAME emulator, but this conversion is essentially just a modified version of MAME with the game ROM and NEO GEO bios.

Esta versión tiene cosas que no me gustan, por ejemplo no veo un lugar donde pueda guardar el progreso, eso en un emulador lo puedes hacer y sin pagar por el.

Playable on SteamDeck with no known issues.
Game is a blast from the past, reminding when I played NBA Jam (1993) with my brothers and cousins on a borrowed Sega Mega Drive (and while writing this I found out you can play NBA Jam online on Arcadespot's website... neato).
Simple sports game from the 90's, you can play for a few minutes to take your mind off things, or just dive in for an whole afternoon, I still haven't played with 2 players so that remains to be tested.

Classic game.
Aunque corre perfecto la emulación es básica a mas no poder, no tiene filtros ni personalización ni nada, es la versión de arcadia tal cual, eso si, el juego es endemoniadamente divertido, clásico de neo&geo, si conoces este tipo de juegos ya sabes que esperar.

当年玩的模拟器，STEAM上纯补票并且是为了跟朋友一起玩，很欢乐！
但是单机玩是真的傻逼，自动切人很不方便，电脑传球稍微多一点，自己直接晕逼都不知道控制的人在哪儿了！
电脑的防守，抢篮板，补扣的意识比我方NPC强多了，进攻和防守永远篮下随时站人，投不进也有在篮下抢板的，
然而我方NPC像傻逼一样，永远在后场呆着，电脑终场远距离三分还贼特么准，平局没有重开的机会，只能续币重开，
当年街机上这游戏属实是吞币机器！

No compreis este juego ni estando de oferta con el precio tirado por los suelos. No porque el juego en si sea malo, para nada, es bastante divertido y entretenido, hay mucha nostalgia en este titulo, pero no es ni por asomo lo que se merece ni el titulo ni los usuarios. Han cogido y simplemente han puesto el emulador de MAME con la rom del juego en un auto ejecutable con muchisimo descaro. Es que no es ni un triste port mal hecho, es lo mas vago y lo mas mal hecho solo para sacar dinero a costa de nostalgia por algo que puede hacer cualquiera con un emulador... Es una vergüenza que Steam deje vender esto asi...

솔직히 한글화가 필요없는 단순한 유사농구게임입니다. 특징으로는 반칙이라는 게 없습니다. 생각없이 단순하게 놀고 싶으시면 딱인 게임입니다. 근데 점수가 저장이 안되더군요. 당연히 온라인도 안되고요. 사실 어둠의 루트로 거의 공짜로 얻을수도 있지만 그러기엔 전 이게임을 너무 좋아해서 할인도 안받고 샀습니다.

Now before I start talking about the negatives let me just say the game is fine. The game will always be fine as it was all those years ago. Then what's the problem? the lack of things that I would expect. The game clearly is being emulated on a MAME and the problem is that I know that they could've done better. The game is has only one set level of difficulty. In arcades they can change an arcade games difficult from something easy (Like level 1) to something difficult (Level 6). It's quite easy and it wasn't implemented. If the consumer finds the game too easy or too hard they just have to suck it up and deal with it. I would actually recommend a MAME compared to this on steam as not only does this not have online support but I ( and from what others have stated) have had problem with the game on startup. It's like a 50/50 if it starts or not. For a game that is brought back after 2 decades by Data East I expected more and was hyped, but they were unable to deliver. find any other way to play this game and use this as your last resort.

Tek jetonla bitirirdim çocukken, indirimdeyken tesadüfen gördüm ve hemen aldım yaşım olmuş 32 gene tek seferde oyunu bitirebildim çok mutluyum. :D

Amazing game! I used to play this on the arcade shops & cafes since I was 10 years old.
Just a heads up, if you press Esc, go to the settings and set the 1 player control to, for example "Space".
That way you will be able to play as only 1 player instead of 2 players. I made the mistake to have both on the same key.
