2008 bis 2016 zeigte Street Fighter VI eindrucksvoll wie geil 2D (2,5D) Arena Prügler doch sein können.
Waren davor quasi nur noch TEKKEN 6 Clone in der Kampfarena
(ja, sogar Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition & Co waren zu 3D mutiert)
sagte sich Midway: F** OFF, machen wir ein Spiel wie früher in den 90ern.

Heraus kam Street Fighter 4.
Auf einer(!) Ebene bewegen sich die fein modellierten Kontrahenten in belebten 3D-Arenen und geben sich Effektgewitterheftig auf die Mütze.
Wie schon im guten alten Street Fighter 2.
Streetfighter x Tekken holte dann noch die Namco-Damen & Herren der Prügel-High-Society an Bord und heraus kam dieses spaßige und Dank sei 2D-Style-Grafik-Art extrem gut gealterte Fighting Game.
Grafisch wurden dabei die Eigen- und Feinheiten der beiden Welten gut eingefangen.
Chun Li, Cammy, Yohimitsu, Kuma, ... alle haben ihre spezifischen Movesets.

Die Musikstücke stammen aus Street Fighter.
Steinigt mich, wenn ich mich irre, aber ich habe keine Tekkensounds (ausser bei Sprachausgabe und Kampfgetümmel) vernommen.
Macht aber nichts:
Für mich ist das hier eher ein arcadiger Spaßprügler und die Musik, Sounds und Kommentare von Streetfighter passen irgendwie einfach sehr gut.

Tekken in der Streetfighter-Steuerung ist zunächst ein wenig umgewöhnungsbedürftig.
Hwoarang beispielsweise kenne ich in- und auswendig und habe bei Tekken schon so manchem das Grinsen aus dem Gesicht geprügelt (also virtuell! 😁)
Das Moveset wurde zwar gut übertragen, aber dennoch spielt es sich eben wie Streetfighter 4.
Hat man sich damit arrangiert bockt das Game.
Die angedachte umgedrehte Version (Street Fighter Chars in Tekken Steuerung) wurde leider nie umgesetzt.
Das ebenso genial einfache, wie schwer zu meisternde Streetfighter 4 System, inklusive Cross-Gauge, Rush-Kombos, Gem-System und Pandora-Modus gibt ordentlich Futter her.

Was ich richtig cool finde:
Endlich wieder mal ein Fighting Game, bei dem bis zu 4 Kontrahenten gleichzeitig prügeln können.
Wie damals auf dem Amiga500 bei International Karate + ...
oder wie heutzutage bei Nintendos SupersmashBros!
Das ist extrem witzig und unübersichtlich und spaßig.
Aber es gibt auch einen Minuspunkt.
Einen, der für manche derart gravierend ist, dass sie das ganze Spiel abstrafen.
Online konnte man nur über Windows Live zocken.
Das ist von Seiten Capcoms letztes Jahr (Mai 2025) abgeschaltet wurden.
Immerhin ist das Spiel auch 14 Jahre alt.
Wer also nur Online-Buddies hat und niemanden für einen Couch-Coop auftreiben kann, spielt nur gegen Bots.
Couch-Coop ist aber dafür eben mit 4 Spielern gleichzeitig extremst geil.

Dear capcom, move this game to steamworks and rerelease it. I love this game and have about 800h in it on PS3, i would like to continue to play this game online on steam for nostalgia sake.

PSA: This game was delisted in 2021 due to issues with GFWL (Games for WIndows Live). A recent update in 2025 has been said to remove GWFL integration, but the game itself is still delisted. Some community-made matches can still work, if you are using one that does not use GFWL, you can delete the installscript.vdf file and any instance of GFWL and the GFWL marketplace and it will work fine offline.
There are also bonus costumes for Ultra Street Fighter IV (not vanilla SF4) if you have save data from this game. Just putting any SFxTK save file in the correct file structure can still give you those content in USFIV.
This game is an underrated classic, it's fun and colourful. The gameplay is based on Street Fighter IV, with some small Tekken flair. There was going to be an opposite version, 'Tekken X Street Fighter', that would've been based on Tekken gameplay but it was eventually cancelled and Akuma from SF was put into Tekken 7 instead.

Because the developers can't redesign the game to run without Windows Live service, I have developed a negative attitude toward all future CAPCOM and Tekken products.
The irresponsibility of the developer and publisher is off-putting.
For this reason, I haven't bought other games from these companies in a long time.
I try to replace them with similar titles from other publishers.
(Although, it's a shame, of course. Classics like Taken 3 on PlayStation or Street Fighter on the Dendy are forever in my heart.)

Из-за того, что разработчики не могут переделать игру, чтобы она запускалась, без виндовс лайв сервиса, сформировалось плохое отношение ко всем будущим продуктам CAPCOM и Tekken.
Отпугивает безответственность разработчика и издателя.
По этой причине, давно не покупаю другие игры этих компаний.
Стараюсь заменять их другими, похожими продуктами, от других издателей.
(Хотя, жаль, конечно. Классика, в виде тейкен 3 на плойке или стрит файтер на денди, в сердце навсегда.)
Об этой игре оставлять отзыв уже бесполезно, по сути: игру никак и нигде больше не приобрести. Но я хочу внести свой вклад в рейтинг этой игры, потому что она всё-таки оставила положительный след в моей игровой истории.

Street Fighter x Tekken (далее — просто SFXT) — игра классная. Жаль, что мёртвая: в игре недоступен онлайн из-за завязки на мёртвый Games For Windows Live (GFWL), и сама игра убрана с продаж. Поддержки от разработчиков тоже нет: игру перестали поддерживать в районе 2015-го года. А когда в 2021-м году появился анонс о том, что Capcom известна проблема с GFWL — решение заняло целых четыре года.
Я очень обрадовался долгожданному фиксу, хотя наткнулся на новость о нём совершенно случайно. Я собирался играть в недавно приобретённый Tekken 7, а тут взяло верх чувство ностальгии. В течение последних лет я несколько раз пытался запустить SFXT, но тщетно, а теперь появилась надежда на полноценный камбэк.
[h1]COMEBACK IS NOT RAEL[/h1]
Увы, камбэка не случилось.
Да, я прошёл историю несколько раз: сначала на базовом уровне сложности, а потом на самом высоком. Я разучил парочку персонажей (Балрог, Кума), поигрался в челленжи и триалы. Полностью прошёл туториал. Но из него я использовал лишь 50-75% информации, и практически не пользовался нововведениями от авторов игры: забил на систему «Пандора», двойное сражение с напарником (один раз только вышло, и то случайно) и на вспомогательные побрякушки (Gems System на английском).
То есть, я сыграл в SFXT так же, как я играл бы в Street Fighter 4 — только персонажи «Теккена» добавились, которым не совсем место в 2D-файтингах. Это красный флаг: если у игры нет новизны, а её новации все канули в лету, то на что я трачу своё время? Я задумался, почему же у меня нет желания затереть SFXT до дыр так же, как я это делал с MK9 и MKX. Причин я нашёл несколько.
[h3]Первая причина — это стиль[/h3]
Я осознал, что среди знакомых мне тайтлов каждый имеет собственный стиль: Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat и Tekken. Спрашивается, SFXT — это больше «Теккен» или «Стрит Файтер»? Ответ: Street Fighter. Хорошо, а чем же он отличается от Mortal Kombat? Ответ: многим, но в первую очередь — программированием игровых механик.
В «Мортал Комбате» я привык заучивать небольшой список комбо и специальных приёмов и импровизировать на ходу, конструируя максимально жёсткие и неотпускающие комбо. Сам геймплей быстрее и живее, а удары блокируются одной кнопкой. В SFXT, продолжении как бы Street Fighter, комбинации делаются не за счёт простого нажатия на клавиши по порядку, а за счёт точного нажатия на клавиши в момент попадания по противнику, притом что у разных персонажей и разных атак — разные по времени окна. Блокирование же осуществляется движением назад или вниз-назад.
Механика блокирования — сразу не моё. Да, она создаёт пространство и даёт возможность отойти, не получая урона. Но в пылу драки тяжело предугадать, куда какой стик нужно направить. А ещё нужно, чтобы игра правильно направление считала — у меня с движением по диагонали всегда проблемы, поэтому на блокировании я даже не фокусировался в тренировках. Если в будущем «Теккене 7» будет так же — придётся, конечно, переучиться; но не в SFXT.
Механика комбо — с одной стороны, увлекательна. Во время игры не расслабиться, а заучивать нужно каждого персонажа, чтобы прочувствовать его тайминги и анимации. С другой стороны, это невероятно изнуряет при игре и нагоняет тоску при тренировке. Помнится мне, в Mortal Kombat я мог ладдер на самом высоком пройти пару раз кряду под фоновую музыку, а в SFXT — одна аркада и я закончился.
[h3]Вторая причина — одинаковость[/h3]
Моя огромная благодарность SFXT за то, что в игре нет жёсткого насилия и всё выглядит как-то по-мультяшному. Теперь я могу поиграть в файтинг при своей дочке и не объяснять ей, почему тут кому-то переломали все конечности, но игра продолжается. Но мне кажется, что как раз из-за этого общая картина драк смазывается: спецэффекты сливаются в кашу, а персонажей не отличить друг от друга.
Например, нет различий, как между льдом Саб-Зиро и огнём Скорпиона в Mortal Kombat. В «Стрит Файтере» как будто каждый персонаж — это Джакс из MK: все супер-сильные, кости-ломательные персонажи. Различать их между собой я не могу, и никто мне не знаком: я даже не знаю, за кого взяться. Желания кого-то заучить до предела — точно никакого не возникает. Ну, Балрога с Кумой я хотя бы обуздал.
[h3]Третья причина — «Теккен»[/h3]
Иронично, но в игре стиля Street Fighter, в которую зашли погостить персонажи «Теккена», я котирую больше персонажей самого «Теккена»: Хейхачи, Кума, Казуя, Йошимитсу, Лили, Кинг и другие. Поиграть и заучить хочется как раз их, но мне кажется, что это плохая идея. Всё-таки они тут гостят, и не хочется прививать себе привычки, от которых в «Теккен 7» потом придётся отучаться.
Впрочем, я вроде как не увидел в Tekken 7 персонажей типа Мардука или Хварана — вот на таких персонажах я смогу сфокусироваться в SFXT.
[h1]Се ля ви[/h1]
SFXT меня крайне увлёк на первых стадиях игры, но потом розовые очки стали биться, и игра показала свой истинный облик: истории как таковой нет, разнообразного геймплея нет, инновационности в тайтле — тоже нет.
Грустно, но с этим можно жить: Street Fighter x Tekken никогда не потеряет своего взрывного стиля подачи информации и полной отдачи от меню, геймплея и саунд-дизайна. Я всегда смогу в него вернуться, чтобы немножко побаловаться. Могу поэкспериментировать с новыми механиками просто вопреки самой игре. Помучать себя в триалах и челленжах, если уж очень скучно станет.
Я не из числа тех, кто во время выхода игра закидал её помидорами из-за дисбаланса, багов и неадекватных практик ведения бизнеса. Я — из тех, кому эта игра в детстве подарила отличный вход в файтинги на ПК, а сейчас — возможность вместе с семьёй надавать по мордасам разнообразным (по облику) персонажам.
За это я благодарю Capcom и SFXT — как бы плохо у игры судьба не сложилась, она всё-таки оставила свой след в моей жизни. Не о каждой игре я могу такое сказать.

Insane that back in my Xbox 360 days, this was one of my earliest introductions to both Street Fighter and Tekken. Even back then I could've probably told you something was wrong with this game even if I couldn't tell you what. I like the roster and the gameplay itself is fine but the gem system is wack and they had no right doing Mega Man the way they did.
Too bad Capcom is probably just going to conveniently forget they delisted this, promising to bring it out of Windows Live hell.

Haven't played this game since I purchased it, 4 years ago. Now, I can't even download it. I've cleared my download cache, and I still keep getting the error message, "The file directory is corrupted or unreadable". So disappointing. I was hoping that giving the game some time off, then playing it again, would make me see it in a different light than just "meh". Well, it did. Now I see it as, unplayable.
Street Fighter and Tekken together, what a brilliant combo! Really nice game. I had trouble reloading it on my former Windows 10 system, but when I upgraded to Windows 11 it installed and played perfectly! I hope this helps, 'cause it is a very nice game.

Es cierto que no ha llevado bien el paso del tiempo, y que durante muchos años fue injugable gracias al infame GFWL, pero una vez solucionado ésto último, creo que es de justicia reconocer sus virtudes.
Cierto es que han desactivado su modalidad online, pero tanto el modo arcade como los combates, tanto en solitario como en multijugador local son tremendamente divertidos, y la unión de dos franquicias de tanto renombre como Street Fighter y Tekken le da un toque único.
Aunque se le notan los años, sigue siendo un juego la mar de recomendable para tener una experiencia añeja.

This game was a gem and phenomenal when it came out. However, this game has suffered from near complete abandonment from Capcom out of a complete disregard for fans of either series. Capcom hates its customers.
Abandonware and still has yet to be ported to any modern console, probably due to how infamous it is.
SFxT is a tag fighter redux of Street Fighter 4 featuring Tekken characters. Even though I think this is still a decent tag version of SF4, it's really hard to want to take the game seriously when the gem system exists the way it does (the only way to disable it is to tediously remove each individual gem from each individual character. That's right: they never patched in an easy way to do that!) and for some insane reason the most basic button chain of L,M,H,H forces an auto-tag: in a game where only one character on a team needs to be knocked out to end a round. Gee I wonder why not a single other tag fighter does anything like that for their basic chain combos ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It doesn't really do anything good with characterisation or story either; beyond the fact that it's just cool to see Tekken characters redesigned to play in a Street Fighter style. I didn't think SF4 was particularity good with characterisation either though so that's not saying much. It's only notable here because it's worse than every single one of Capcom's other VS game efforts (Marvel, SNK, Tatsunoko...)
That said, for some reason, SFxT is still one of the few fighting games that has proper 1-4 player support built into itself; meaning you can have two players controlling a character each on one team. And there's also a mode where you can have all four characters fight on screen at once if you really want to. And the gem system can make for a welcome assist for the players who need it. So in that case, it ironically makes it very easy to recommend for fighting game friend groups.
Except you can't buy SFxT on Steam anymore anyway, oops.
If you're able to get a version of this game somehow, I only just barely recommend SFxT for the Tekken cast and as a decent option for party situations. Otherwise Capcom ported over everything they could into Ultra SF4 already, meaning Ultra SF4 is only really missing the Tekken characters and 2v2 gameplay.

今更やれないようなゲームのレビューを書いてもアレなのですが、個人的にこのゲームで一番気になったのは、CPU戦で出てくる敵が、「同じ系列のキャラ同士」なことです。
マーベルとのコラボ作品などでは、CPU戦では「マグニートーとベガ」とか「サイクロップスとリュウ」というような、作品をまたぐチームが出てきました。今作では、そういうことが行われていません。何のためのコラボなのかと思います。
他にも不満はある、というか、特に良いところが見つからないゲームです。特に、鉄拳のキャラの鉄拳感の無い挙動は、スト4にDLCキャラを入れたような状態に見えました。

This is one of those games that probably could have been a classic, but it was mismanaged on so many levels. At the core of things, the game is a lot of fun and it does a good job of combining what's good in the Street Fighter universe with what's good in the Tekken universe.
The catch is that Capcom made a series of disastrous decisions that killed this game before it really got going. So much so that the community actually bailed and went back to Street Fighter 4 after less than a year.
The first thing they did was implement a system of "gems" that boosted character abilities mid-match. The catch is that some were clearly better than others and they could do insane things, like automatically block or escape grabs. The super strong ones were only available as pre-order bonuses or as paid DLC, too. They essentially worked like a "pay to win" mechanic. Don't want to play with other people using gems? Too bad, you have no choice. (In tournaments, people disable them, FYI)
Next, they had FIVE characters that were exclusive to the PlayStation versions of the game. Oddly, they're in the code for the PC and Xbox versions of the game, they're just locked down and inaccessible.
Third, they actually included feature-complete versions of the first "DLC" characters in the shipping version of the game. You're essentially just paying to unlock what has been there all along.
Fourth, the PC version used Games for Windows Live, an online gaming platform that only marginally worked at launch. It was abandoned by Microsoft after a few years which rendered this game nearly unplayable, even offline. It took them 13 years to finally remove it to make this game functional.
Fifth, the pandora mechanic never did work as intended and was poorly thought out. It's actually the least problematic of the issues with the game since it was an optional mechanic that wasn't really even needed.
So...with all of those things, this game must be horrible, right? Funny enough, it's actually pretty good under the hood. You just have to jump through a bunch of hoops. Check out the "SF x Tekken Community Mod Patch," which removes GFWL and unlocks the characters that were originally only for the Sony consoles + DLC fighters. Online play is still broken, but it's good for playing face-to-face.
Should you buy this game right now? Only if it's deeply, deeply discounted and you want to mostly play offline. Keep that in mind. There's a good game hiding beneath a whole bunch of reasons not to buy it. If you see it for under $10 and you like Street Fighter or Tekken, I'd snag it. Otherwise, steer clear. Hopefully one of these days we'll see a feature-complete version (minus gems) added to one of those Capcom Fighting Collection bundles. The game really does deserve better than what Capcom did with it.

I have always been a 2D fighter fan, never cared much for Tekken or most other 3D fighters. This game has all the arcade glory of a Street Fighter plus moves and combos that make sense to me from one of the most acclaimed 3D series of all time. To me at least, the Tekken fighters even have some of the same move sets, the inputs are all just so much better!
Game finally updates to remove GFWL now its playable to an extent just make sure to remove the fan patch. game is fun just how I remember it on xbox 360.

I like this game but after the latest update I receive a notice from Bitdefender that SFTK.exe was infected. It's been removed now I can't play the game.
Update: The issue with the last update I received seems fixed. I can't sign into Live but I can still play the game now at least. I like this game, it reminds me of Street Fighter 4, but with Tekken fighters added. So I recommend the game again

Broken game. Never once got it to launch.
You know, when you could play the game without fifteen community workarounds, and more than 3 people played it, and after they gutted the microtransaction BS, and once you unlocked all the DLC through third party means, they had a pretty cool game under the hood here.

It's more of a Street Fighter than a Tekken, all the Tekken characters now have this weird movement speed, move sets, but also "heavyness" to them.

Runs well on any PC made post 2014 and decent entry. More of a SF stylised game then Tekken. Regardless it's pretty much SFIV with an extended roster of the popular tekken fighters worth probably 15 bucks at most. Plot is short but good you can beat campaign. Only reccomend this game to die hard fighting game fans beyond that this is a pretty forgettable and underwhelming game compared to any Tekken and SF entry. Solid 7.2/10.

Hra mi běží, nicméně game for windows live ne. Nelze přepsat ani heslo, přihlásit se nebo cokoliv udělat. Tudíž se po vypnutí hry kompletní dosažené úspěchy smažou. V tomto stavu jej doporučit nemohu. Nejde to obejít ani přes manuální uložení, takže se to chová jako hra na konzoli bez paměťové karty. Vzhůru k zářné budoucnosti, protože jsme už dneska v některých oblastech tam, kde jsme byli před třiceti lety.. viva la pokrok:D

I want to make it clear i adore and love this game even if others don't like it and i can understand the gem system being the biggest issue with which im onboard with getting it removed if its even a possibility.
So do i recommend this game HELL YES!!!! HOWEVER don't buy it anywhere unless you are willing to do a work around to make it run.
Capcom stated 3 years ago already that they would be transitioning older titles to Steamworks so far the only game i know they did this with is Resident Evil 5 and i believe 6. They STILL have not done this for Street Fighter X Tekken or Resident Evil Racoon City also games they said this would be done for. So because ppl complained they took it off the store for purchase till they "fix it", for the length of time it has been now i doubt they ever will which is a disappointment because Capcom chooses to lose money over it.
So im currently putting "No" till its updated

I have tried unistalling the game, Restarting my Gaming Laptop and re-installing the game but i still kepp getting the same error problem , Can you please help me with this problem?

Un peu de recul sur ce jeu acheté bien après sa sortie, espérant une version finalisée et stable.
Les premières minutes sont sympa, on voyage, on crée notre team, on explose tout ce qui passe avec une facilité déconcertante, même en mode le plus difficile.
Arrivé au boss final, on le défonce en mode perfect au premier round.
Puis, c'est la cata. Pas moyen de lui en mettre une, ça enchaine en nous acculant non stop, il pare, il a une énergie illimitée et prévoit tous nos coups. Ici, c'est lui qui nous finit en mode perfect. La difficulté est complètement à la ramasse, et ceci quand le jeu fonctionne, ne plante pas ou se lance normalement.
C'est une honte de sortir un titre pareil, pas fini, pas mis à jour, pas réparé et à la difficulté mal dosée.
Its nice to have it in your collection, if you played this version in the past. However as for now is just a dead game living by nostalgia.

Capcom announced on November 8th, 2021 that they had [TEMPORARILY] removed Street Fighter X Tekken from sale on Steam.
A fun but broken fighter that express teamwork as the primary vocalpoint. The balance is not great, but the mechanics are interesting and the features are great. The fact that you can play four players at the same time is a huge plus. I can see a lot of inspiration that SF6 has taken from this game into that game mechanicwise.
Fun but definitely not a competative friendly one.
