People who care about this game getting delisted after Shadow Generations came out make me laugh. Like you had an entire decade to buy the game on PC, it constantly went on sale on Steam making it cheap asf, and you never bought it. Now there's a new, modern, almost objectively better version that released with brand new content in the base game, plus an entire side game with just as much content that reviewed insanely positively, and now you're pissed you can't buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ version? This fandom has no grasp on what it wants.

Będe szczery z tą opinią. Gra jest PEAK. Ale ten port. To jest coś co nigdy nie wybaczę Japończykom. JAK BARDZO JEST TEN PORT ZJECHANY TO JA NIE POWIEM. Gra lepiej działa na Xbox 360 i PS3. Jeżeli bez modów jakimś cudem odpalisz grę bez błędów to i tak zaraz ci zamrozi grę i nie można nic zrobić na tym monitorze na którym jest odpalona gra. Do ta ale przecież mody pomogą. NIE teraz gra zamiast się zamrażać na zawsze to 5-30sec gra zamraża się na 1-2 sec. Uwierzcie mi że porty adventure są już lepiej zrobione. Nie pozdrawiam

after A DECADE of not being able to start it, the game randomly decided to run. wow! my issue was a common issue, which I found convos about, btw.
but sadly, I cannot recommend this game at all. while I love og titles, like Adventure, or Heroes, been a Sonic fan for 2 decades, this one has INSANE amount of bugs. 10/6 times I died due to a bug happening. it is also just...boring? you need to replay the same stage with stupid missions, to get further. absolutely not something I expected from an anniversary game...

No bounce ability for 3d sonic. Dash/boost will get you killed anywhere in 3d space.
Luckily you can't easily buy this anymore.

kind of a buggy mess but overall a good game.
barely got this game to run, (eaten inputs, controller suddenly no longer giving input, having to play with only one monitor connected or the game just wont open) and most of these stages are just alright, but when I did get to a good stage it made me remember why sonic is really cool fast blue guy so thats kinda awesome.
I hate you vector and your stupid musical note side stage.

Funciona re bien como juego de Sonic, aún después de estos años. Me habré encontrado un par de bugs pero no es nada comparado con los juegos 3D del erizo que siempre está plagado de problemas, aunque si hay partes (sobre todo en algunas misiones secundarias) que son un real parto.
De todas maneras, sigue siendo un gran juego para nuevos como veteranos con la mascota azul de SEGA.

im really dissapointed how sega left the original sonic generations for dead. i should not be forced to pay 3x what ive paid for this port to access a smaller campaign in this game. and just as a cherry on top (aside from the game getting forced into a bundle only purchase) the game gets stuck onto an infinite load time after finishing one stage.

Jogo incrível, mas a atitude da empresa é péssima. Tiraram a versão original de venda para obrigar todo mundo a comprar a versão com o Shadow, que é mais cara e, para mim, totalmente desinteressante. O Generations de 2011 já era perfeito sozinho.

Amazing level design, amazing aesthetics, amazing music, amazing gameplay, meh story.
I'd give the story a pass since it's just an anniversary game, but this was literally the only good Modern Sonic game of the 2010's, and Shadow Generations which is also an anniversary game has an incredible story.
Roger's Sonic is also somewhat more bearable in this game. I still remember buying this when it came out and thinking who the hell is this guy? God I miss Jason's portrayal.
Still recommend though despite what I mentioned at the end. The gameplay, levels and music are fire, so I'd say get it, if only for mods and stuff.

Un excelente clásico, historia infantil pero divertida, un viaje nostálgico al pasado de esta gran franquicia.
If someone asks me in public if I'm a fan of Sonic, this game makes me want to say yes. I back out because the chance of being recorded saying so is too big of a risk, but one day I might slip up because of how great this game is.

Update: got hard enought the point it stoped being fun. Sure it should be challenging and some of the side missions being unique and fun - some are hard to the point they feel cheap. I don't think my time attack scores are saving on the server either for that one achievement but while I enjoyed the game I do not think this one is worth getting all achievements in
The coolest part for me so far was realizing how a big a change from the 2D Genesis games to the 3D Gamecube games was.
I wasn't in the mood for story so I skipped the cut scenes so far but it isn't a bad game to pick up and play a level or challenge. Don't need to sit down and commit to a few hours but can open and play a level on the steam deck.

Ótimo jogo do ouriço s@fado, jogabilidade divertidade e fluida, bom fator replay, é divertido jgr com ambos os sonics e é um jogo além de nostálgico.
Infelizmente peca nos gráficos q é bem pixelado em algumas partes mas por ser um jogo de 2011 dá pra aceitar.
A platina é consideravelmente facil mas é muito chatinha de fzr pq é coletável dms e quase 50 missões pra fzr com os dois sonics, dando quase 100 no total.
Os chefes são ridículos de fáceis, menos o último q tem uma mecânica muito nd haver.
No geral eu recomendo bastante.

Delicious game
One of the best sonic games, both the 2D and 3D sections are solid platformers. There isn't really much of a story, but when the gameplay is this good it doesn't matter.
