I do not like this game! You struggle so much to get enough materials to restore a monolith or whatever they called it, and then it opens up the area its in only to find nothing much. A big open area in the desert with a small patch of farm land you could use if you wanted to, which you don't because the home farm works fine. You just plant according to the season. Whatever.

And trying to understand the loom? Ugh! I just don't get it, even with the wiki. Maybe that's on me. Either way, it's confusing. I don't know if I'm getting the same recipes on the loom that I already got, or if I'm getting a new one. If it's the same, I'm wasting my time.

Also, all the furniture you can make just looks bland and boring. You can decorate your house, but if it doesn't look like anything other than blurry bland pixel art, what's the point?

I guess I'll keep playing because I will get my money's worth. This game is expensive.

Excellent cozy game with charming characters. Gameplay loop is as to be expected of the genre, with a mountain of quests to complete in your goal of restoring the town.
The controls can be a bit fiddly at times, but this is easily made up for by the immense charm and variety of gameplay.

As a sidenote - Runs flawlessly on Linux for me.

Such a cute game! If you love cats (and cute animals in general) then try it out! You can really tell the devs love and care about their project, and they are receptive to feedback and quick to fix issues. I can't to see all the other updates!

im too tired to write an actual review but im only like an hour and a half in and its amazing. get it. at least try the demo.

Update I'm not tired anymore!!

This game is like if Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and some aspects of Stardew Valley decided to have a baby. Then, that baby decided that the world would be entirely open and sandbox-like.

Like, you can build anywhere. It's so nice. The map is also really, really big. I'm not even that far into the game and I love it.

However, I will say. If you're looking for a *farming sim*, then this isn't what you're looking for entirely. There are farming parts! There's crops and livestock. That's only about 1/4 of what you'll be doing though. A lot of the game is doing quests and interacting with villagers.

It has tons of potential, the characters are cute, and it has loads of content already. There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking. I think the little bugs are kinda funny sometimes in games. Like a character deciding to walk straight into the ocean.
