Slowdrive is a racing game about the lost sloth who trying to get back home. He will drive many twisted tricky roads with multiple routes and even moving platforms.

Pretty fun race game. You are a sloth driving a, not so fast, car. It takes a while to wind up, but when you get speed going, it's hard to stop. You have a lot of different maps which all feel well made and fun to play through. Unless you spend like 60 tries on one level... :( Get it. It's short and sweet.
Le but du jeu est très simple faire des courses le plus vite possible. Pas d’histoire, pas de pouvoirs ni de boosts, seulement des virages à bien maîtriser et un peu de drift.
Le jeu propose 4 mondes principaux et un monde bonus sur la glace (horrible). Dans chaque monde, on trouve 6 niveaux spéciaux : 3 niveaux où il faut collecter des points avant de terminer la course, et 3 niveaux en multi-laps, avec le même type de map pour chaque monde.
Un élément sympathique : dans chaque niveau (sauf le monde de glace), il y a une feuille à trouver. Un petit collectible fun qui donne envie de chercher dans chaque niveau.
Cependant, le jeu a beaucoup de problèmes. Il contient beaucoup de bugs et de glitches, avec une RNG bien trop présente. Certains bugs peuvent vous faire partir en 360° sans aucune raison, les hitbox sont catastrophiques, et il est possible de traverser de nombreux blocs.
Pour obtenir le 100 %, il faut débloquer les Gold Wheels et les Ice Wheels, ce qui demande de finir les courses avec 3 étoiles en vue à la première personne. J’ai dû refaire tout le jeu parce que je jouais avec la caméra de base. Aucune indication n'est donnée pour savoir comment les débloquer dans le jeu, il fallait être devin, j'imagine.
Allez jouer à TM, c'est bien mieux.

Слишком хардовая (хз как люди по три звезды получать умудряются - некоторые трассы трудно даже на одну звезду, открывающую путь к следующему заеду проехать). "обдолбанная" "заторможенная" трекмания с "рубанковой" физикой. Визуально сильно "бедна", совсем блекла (и однотонна) с самым минимумом декараций. То есть как бы разраб трассы создал, а "обставить" их сил-денег не хватило. Ну и последующие трассы это участки прошлых трасс и вот так вот получается что трасса постепенно разрастается, а расстояние заезда увеличивается. Плохо ли это - однозначно ответить не могу, просто факт. Ощущение что едешь на "лунной" гравитации. Вроде скорость и небольшая, но подпрыгиваешь высоковато и двигаешься вяло. Коала под "тормозами".

In "Slowdrive" sitzt man in Form eines Faultiers in einen Auto und muss verschiedenste Hinderniskurse durchfahren und dabei noch möglichst in dem vorgegeben Zeitlimit bleiben um neue Level freizuschalten.
Verpatzt man einen Versuch, macht das Nix, man kann es direkt nochmal versuchen und genau dieses simple Spielprinzip macht schnell süchtig und treibt einen voran.
Selbst nach den gefühlt 30. Versuch kitzelt es einen in den Fingern es nochmal zu probieren um die nächste Bestzeit zu knacken.
Apropos knacken, die späteren Level werden in der tat wirklich knackig, da kann man sich wenn man will, echt die Zähne ausbeißen, aber so ist es ja mit fast allen Arcade-Spielen.
Fazit: Simples & spaßiges Spielprinzip! :)

Brilliant Game! Couldn't spend a better 5 bucks. If you're a Track Mania fan, you'll be able to jump right in on this one. Creative "puzzle" type game play, with multiple routes to take for each race. It's up to you to find the fastest line. Soft and fun graphics, runs very smooth with a keyboard, didn't try a controller.
Quite cool game if you want to try and speedrun driving. Unfortunately it is not very optimised at higher resolutions.
Trying to get the three stars through trying to get the best racing lines, keeping the wheels planted and figuring out the best route makes this game a fun challenge.

I picked it up for 1.5 or something on sale. It's worth more than that, maybe even the full price.

Not much explaining is needed I guess. The store video's speak for themselves. Don't expect more than what you see there. You could call it a 3D precision platformer even. Don't let the title fool you, this is not an easy game (although, if you have enough LFS experience, you should do fine).
Fiendishly difficult to get the 3 stars on some levels, nice relaxing music and a Stunt Race FX kind of vibe. Nice!
I really like it!! It reminds me of the first Trackmania, when the series had shorter levels that we're more about "solving" levels (finding the optimal route, that often involved finding shortcuts) than just going super fast and doing crazy stunts.
"Solving" the tracks was what I loved about the first Trackmania, and Slowdrive really brings back this feeling.
Another great thing is that a lot of the tracks are split in 3 sections, that you each race separately, before racing them one final time, all connected into a longer track. What's great about this is that combining the three tracks together presents them in a new way, the shortcuts you found on the short tracks might not be optimal for the longer track, so you revisit tracks you've already completed, but you need to race them differently.
It took me about 15 hours to get all the medals (also taking time to climb up the ranks! I'm currently 7th in the overall leaderboard). Some of the medals are pretty challenging to get, but they're all doable! All of the tracks are pretty small, most taking between 10 and 50 seconds to complete.
One great thing is that, not only there is a leaderboard for each track, but there is also a global leaderboard for all the tracks combined! And the leaderboards are accessible directly on Steam. It's the first game I see that uses Steam's leaderboard feature.
I see some people complain about the physics, but honestly I think they're great, I haven't had any problems with it. I think people simply need to learn that if you do a jump with a car, it's not a good idea to land with your wheels already turned to the side and the gas pedal all the way down because of course you will lose control, but that's not a bug, it's just how cars work.
I found two small bugs, but nothing game breaking. The acceleration at the start of a level isn't always constant if you wait at the start of a level before pressing the gas pedal, but simply hitting the gas before hitting the retry button fixes it, so it's not really a problem (but it would still be nice if it was fixed though). Also, you can customize your car, but for some reason the decal pattern you select doesn't get saved when you quit the game.
Other than those small glitches, I'm having a blast! I highly recommend it if you miss the smaller, more puzzlely tracks from the first Trackmania!
Sweet and challenging game, where there are no car upgrades, just your driving skill against a time limit on small circuits or bits of circuits, can be played in short sessions

A vibrantly minimal cel-shaded arcade racer where the only power-up is your determination and the road ahead is an obstacle course. The car handles like a formula one on pavement but all bets are off once the terrain gets bumpy.

Jogo que lembra Trackmania, mas bem mais lento, como o nome sugere. Achei que seria mais interessante, mas é muito repetitivo.
Un juego de conducción con tramos cronometrados de complejidad creciente, muy al estilo Trackmania (pero sin editor). No es nada fuera de lo común, pero es entretenido y se deja jugar. La dificultad es considerable en algunos circuitos, y aún no lo he terminado (aunque espero hacerlo)

I have barely played this game (so far), and within 20 minutes of gameplay, I can already say with full confidence that this is truly an amazing indie game. The graphics are beautiful, the music in the background is calming, the mechanics of the game in general (the way in which the vehicles operate) is just amazing. While this can be perceived as slightly repetive, since you need to complete levels to move onto the next level, don't be discouraged!! Due to how fun the game mechanic is, and how beautiful the graphics are, you'll forget that you're repeating levels over and over again. TL;DR: This is a great little indie game well worth the money. It is fun, cute, and might give you a slight adrenaline rush.

Slowpoke Trackmania with primitivistic nintendish artstyle. If you like racing the same track hundred times in a row trying to cut that split second off, then hooray! Now you can spend even more time doing that. Physic model is unrealistic with drifting that has no relation to under 50 km/h speed in real life. Also game crashes literally every time you try to close it.

You know the drill; you see an inexpensive Steam game that might be a bit of fun for a few hours. Launch it, start to play….and next thing you know you’re FORCING yourself to quit because you suddenly realize how late it is and how much your fingers are starting to hurt. Wait, that’s NOT part of the “drill”! But it just may be SLOWDRIVE. (Certainly was for me!)
Slowdrive is an exceptional game, (as the current 100% rating confirms) and at an exceptionally affordable price The premise is a rather contrived one, but well in keeping with the amusing concept of a slot driving to find a new tree branch to hang from. Were Slowdrive simply a driving game it would be enough, but it isn’t just a driving game. While driving, players may choose to follow the marked roadway, or may take obvious (and even HIDDEN) shortcuts, or a combination of both. On many levels the roadway may be enough for a one-star completion, but discovering unmarked jumps or off-road areas may be necessary for a better score. Each level offers one, two or three stars based on successful completion, and stars collected unlock new areas.
Despite owning dozens of Steam driving and racing games, AAA and indie, never have I seen a game where the winning (or losing) time may so often need to be measured in 1,000ths of a second. Literally, the difference between success or failure in Slowdrive can occur in less time than is required to blink.
But while Slowdrive IS certainly a driving game, it’s also often a “launch the car like a rock” game, and a “fly through the air precisely” game, and a “ride a frictionless platform” game, and a “drive on two wheels” game, and a “try not to be crushed by huge blocks” game, and a “drifting extraordinaire” game. If it can be done in, around, to or about a vehicle, Slowdrive likely includes it. And having done all that, you can also choose to do it from a driver POV, as well as find hidden leafs(sic) on EVERY level to be able to change the color of any one of five cars. (Cars are unlocked by completing areas, but all cars perform identically.) Slowdrive accepts controllers, and apparently even wheel controllers, which is remarkable for such a small game.
In choosing to play Slowdrive, you have chosen to play a driving game, a platformer, an amazing physics-based game, and so much more. While it can reach some very difficult levels, there is always enough material available to provide numerous, and varied choices. No driving game I know of offers as much variety and entertainment as does Slowdrive.

Cheap and colourful game where you as a cute sloth in shirt drive a very slow car. This may sound relaxing, but it's not. It's difficulty is straight out of hell. Looks can be deceiving, I guess.
If you decide to give it a go - be ready to drive the same 30 seconds tracks over and over again until you perfected every corner and stunt, or be unable to unlock anything and progress anywhere. This game is for patient sloths.
Also first person view included for maximum immersion (and even higher difficulty).
It's too difficult to get even 1 stars, which mean you need to try many times in a single level. And you cant reach next level if you dont complete last (at least one star).
Multiplayer may much fun.
Some grand minds say: less is more.
The lost sloth (I still prefer to think that the name is Tyrone Rop) is trying to get back home. Get back through the shattered world of tracks. You can percieve the whole adventure as a story of prudent but brave driving, or as an implicit narrative of overcoming adversity, exploring and sewing a realm, gaining control, challenge of seeking and reaching a tranquil haven, new place and state of mind, where the tracks are the branches of the tree of life (isn't it the tree from the prologue dream?).
And the latest winter chapter… Well, it's very, unexpectedly realistic. If you have a front-wheel drive vehicle (yet even Eco in his [i]Il pendolo di Foucault[/i] ironically wrote that the front-weel drive is the only God-pleasing kind of vehicle, btw) just like the sloth, you will appreciate it as nothing else.
You will learn, you will laugh, you will cry, you will cry for mercy — you will love it.
And (slow)drive safe!

Deceptively fun driving game drawing on elements of the Crazy Box from Crazy Taxi. Get to the end as quick as possible on courses intended for a more scenic slow approach.
One of the best casual games I have on my laptop for on the go gaming. Wish there were more levels though, progressing gets really brutal.

Haha, one guy called this game a slow version of TrackMania and I guess he was pretty right here.
+The game is very simple - you are slowly rushing to the finish and your aim is to beat the gold/silver/bronze time. What I find a controversial thing here - you are driving way slower than in a usual racing game, yet it I think it's still too fast for a SLOWdrive if you know what I mean. Like most of the levels have the aim to beat something between 15-20 seconds for a gold medal, if your car would go twice as slow and it would be 40 seconds for a gold medal that would be a slow drive :3 At same time if your car would go even slower than it goes, you would not be able to jump over the pits tho.
+Visual part is nice, simple, you have multiple cars and decals to unlock
+Soundwork is okay
+-Steam achievements - to get them all would be a pain because every single racing track is really hard to beat for 3 stars =\ For me some levels even hard to beat for 1 star

SO all in all this game is nice, but if you want to beat it completely that would be a pain in your аrsе.

"Vous jouez un paresseux au volant d’une vieille voiture sans charisme. Le but est alors de prendre des virages dans des niveaux visuellement excessivement simples, de façon à vous rendre le plus vite au point d’arrivée. Après trois niveaux réussis, un quatrième vous demandera d’enchaîner les trois précédents à la suite et là aussi, en temps limité. Formaté façon « application iOS/Android » avec ses étoiles à collecter et ses niveaux à débloquer, Slowdrive proposer aussi une longue liste de voitures et de motifs à débloquer tout au long des réussites.
Mais voilà, Slowdrive est d’un manque d’intérêt assez violent. Vendu 6€, il ne fait absolument rien qui n’ait pas déjà été aperçu auparavant et ce, depuis quelques années d’ailleurs. Slowdrive c’est le jeu facile, jeu « CV », qui se permet en plus d’être assez mal réglé en termes de courbe de difficulté. Bref, ce n’est pas un mauvais jeu, mais il manque totalement d’intérêt."

Le jeu de voiture low poly le plus fun ;)
A fun little time-trial game, where you try to reach the end of a short obstacle course as a sloth driving a sedan. The car has a lot of momentum, so getting the right line and adjusting your brake and throttle to make turns and climb hills can be quite challenging.

Love this game! Reminds me of Mario Kart time trials on the Game Cube. Trying to strive for the extra 10th of a second! My only wish would be being able to configure the keys.

+ The concept is cute and humerous, seeing a Sloth driving a car... Genious!
+ The gameplay is mildly entertaining. The goal is to drive your car to the end of each stage as fast as possible. Each level tends to have multiple paths to take or tricks to pull off to reduce your time.
+ Visually this game looks wonderful. Very minimalistic in design, but very vibrant colors and lighting, making the world feel charming.
+ Deceptively challenging. You will have to replay levels again and again in order to shave down your time if you are looking to earn 3 stars. (Adds a lot to replayability)
+ Great upbeat soundtrack
- Some might find the game to be overly difficult as the times required to get 3 stars are extremely tight, and require some fine-tuned driving skills.
- The car mechanics / physics can be frustrating. One small mistake can cost you dearly.
Full disclosure, i got this game from the devs, my opinion on the other hand is not biased in the slightest!

Now this game is maddening, always trying to go for the 3 stars, finding the hidden items, Its infuriating but at the same time is still SUPER fun :D For a fiver i would be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to not reccommend this!!!

I only played 5 minutes before I fell in love... then played another 30 minutes and knew this is one of my games of the year.
It's not fancy or flashy, It does what it is meant to do... You're a sloth driving a car and you've to beat a time. but makes it special is the fact I'm not racing anyone or anything apart from my own head telling me I can do that turn better. Some games miss that point of racing in the modern day.
If you ask me is this worth (about) £5 I'd say; "Hell Yeah!".

After getting this game as a gift I quickly descovered that it is amazing! The story is as folows: you are a sloth minding your own business when a butterfly knokes you out of your tree you then find yourself lost after locating a car and commuting grand theft auto you go cruzin down the street in yo new six four (jockin them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and slap in them hoes) you go on an epic jurney to get back to your tree and kick that butterfly's ass.
What starts out as an innocent game becomes hellishly frustrating, challenging but still, at all times, keeps it's charm. A great little game with fun handling physics, fantastic level variation and good performance. Recommended for all gamers, from casual to serious gamers. Nice work devs
Fun game where you try to reach the finish line as fast as possible with challenging levels. The levels are short which makes it fun to keep trying again for that 3 star time and not frustrating. Some levels have clever routes you have to find to get fast enough time for all 3 stars.
All 60 levels have a hidden leaf you can collect somewhere, these unlock paints and achievements. Also on top of the three stars you can collect for each level, there is also "golden wheel" which is the ultimate goal for getting all three stars while using a cockpit view.
Also bonus points for the game because it has a bosozoku C210.
Fantastic time trial arcade racing game with plently of challenging yet short levels. There's a ton of replayability when it comes to topping your own time on a specific track, and i've found myself spending upwards of an hour just to perfect my time to get onto the leaderboard. I'm 6 hours in without even finishing all the levels.
This game strikes a perfect balance between fun and innocent / frustrating and competitive.
This game is wayyyyy more fun than it looks like in the preview video, which is rare because usually the preview videos for a game make the game look better than it actually is.
You have 60 levels to beat, and they start getting pretty challenging before you reach level 10, each level requiring you to master it enough to beat a specific "goal time".
This game is one of those that has that addicting qualities to it and will have you playing over and over again.
Fantastic value for the price tag with this one, Highly recommended!
I haven't played much, but I really like what I've played. The art style is simple yet oddly satisfying and the driving physics have depth.
It's like... your car controls like ♥♥♥♥, but you know you can make it do magic. It's so satisfying when you pull off a sweet drift and blaze across the finish line. You'll feel like Vin Diesel in a sports car. But you're just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a sloth. Brilliant
Fun and simple game!
It's another indie puzzle game with minimalist graphics but this time, you take control of a car which I think is very nice. The puzzles and unlockable are fitting for a driving puzzle game but that's all it really is. The later puzzles get really tough and it does get repetitive after a while but the game are aidded with the Steam achievements to help you complete the game.

If you, like the protagonist and like myself, have ever been a sloth who's trying to find their way home after being lost due to manifestations of chaos theory - then you should play Slowdrive.
However, don't let the awesome aesthetics and pleasant music fool you. This is a racing game. I have little experience with those and I'm struggling with every level.
Fun and challenging, it's worth a try even for the uninitiated, and my guess is that pros would enjoy it too.
