Shantae and the Seven Sirens finds Shantae and her friends on vacation at Paradise Island, where they encounter other Half-Genies, and Shantae is invited to the Half-Genie Festival. However, she soon discovers that things are not as they seem as the other Half-Genies are kidnapped. It is left to Shantae to explore the ancient Sunken City and overcome its treacherous labyrinths to rescue the other Half-Genies and find out they were abducted. Along the way, she discovers new dance abilities and instant-transformation Fusion Magic, and battles the mysterious rulers of the Sunken City, the Seven Sirens. However, she also ends up encountering her longtime nemesis Risky Boots, who seeks a mysterious treasure said to reside beneath the island.

This is the fifth installment in the series. I've played the games in order, and I can say with complete certainty that this is, without a doubt, the best of them all. It incorporates new elements, and its gameplay even surpasses that of Pirate's Curse. The aforementioned game might be my favorite Shantae game, but I must admit that this is an excellent evolution. The music and the bosses didn't disappoint me at all. I hope to play Risky´s Revolution soon, 10/10

I liked the shapeshifting aspects but the game is very average. The puzzles don't require much thought. The final boss fight has unreasonably inflated hp. Not setting to 'don't recommend' because it was not bad, just average. A hypothetical better Shantae game would have more interesting puzzles and a more reasonable final boss fight.

Its a solid entry, though not as good as the previous titles. If you're a Shantae fan its still a no-brainer pick up as you'll still have a fun time. there is set up for the future of the franchise and I am hopeful. Just don't rest on your laurels Wayforward. I know you have it in you to learn what did and did not work in this entry.

It's fun. I don't like it as much as Pirate's Curse, but I like how in this game they worked Shantae's transformations into her movement rather than using the dance mechanic like they did in Risky's Revenge and Half-Genie Hero. I recommend it if you're a fan of the series for sure, it's also got the easiest speedrun achievements since the teleportation skip in Risky's Revenge lol

Also, I got the 100% speedrun in 6:17, so I think the parameter for it is 6.5 hours, not 6 like I've seen reported online.

sinceramente no creo que se pueda decir mucho de este juego si ya conoces la serie de shantae,el juego llega a ser bastante bueno y me gusta su estructura tipo metroid vania de la serie si acaso algo que le tuviera que criticar seria que el juego por momentos se siente muy sencillo en comparacion con otros juegos pero fuera de eso el juego es bastante bueno,la historia es algo simple pero funciona,los personajes extras y nuevos son bastante carismaticos y la musica tambien es muy buena

sinceramente recomiendo mucho este juego,espero que shantae 6 sea igual y si no mejor que los otros pero en si creo que pirates course sigue siendo el mejor hasta ahora

Habiendo jugado Half-Genie Hero previamente, este juego me decepcionó bastante. Voy a empezar con las poquitas cosas buenas que tiene: el estilo visual se mantiene igual que el anterior juego, pero con un plus de cinemáticas que están bien, aunque no afectan nada al gameplay. La música se me hizo un tanto extraña porque a veces no encajaba con el ambiente de la situación (aunque existen algunas pistas que suenan muy bien).

Ahora, si no eres fan de los metroidvanias, te resultará una experiencia monótona y repetitiva (el mapa te guía, pero sigue siendo cansado). La historia tampoco es la gran cosa; no esperes una narrativa compleja, aunque sinceramente no me importa mucho eso. También se nota mucho el reciclaje de varios sprites, no solo de Shantae, sino de muchos enemigos.

No me gusta cómo la trama se va desenvolviendo (a partir de acá hablo con spoilers). Cuando las medio-genios desaparecen, te pintan el juego como una búsqueda para salvarlas, y aunque sí es cierto que las salvamos a cada una, yo personalmente lo sentí muy anticlimático, pues el sistema de liberación era prácticamente lo mismo: explorar, encontrarlas, hablarles y que nos otorgaran una habilidad para seguir y repetir el proceso.

Con respecto a la batalla final, me decepcionó mucho. Más allá de que el final boss solo tuviera unos cuatro movimientos y una gran cantidad de vida, la fase final es aún peor: solo ataca con dos patrones y luego tienes que ir destruyendo sus cacharros que contienen bolitas rojas. No se siente como una pelea final, más bien es cansado y tedioso.

Al final, no sucede nada; el desfile de medio-genios solo fue una excusa para entregarnos un juego mediocre.

It fell apart...

I played through Risky's Revenge, Pirate's Curse, Half-Genie Hero, and now this. The first 2 were great, Half-Genie Hero was not, and it felt like the series had lost something when it was animated with 3D elements; it may have been related to the overall structure catering to speed-running or something... but the scrappy heartful overall character I saw in the first 2 games was neutered.

I wasn't planning on playing this, but I got it in a bundle. It started out promising, but the cracks started forming around the 2nd boss; it started to feel repetitive, like it was going through the motions to be a Shantae game, while rushing story and characters. And then, as it started getting near the end, it dropped all pretenses: gauntlets, dull design, really bluh bosses (the last 2 "bosses" were a letdown), etc. Thinking back, at least Half-Genie Hero felt fresh in SOME aspects with interesting, if frustrating traversal/ideas.

Anyways, it's not terrible, it just felt kinda meh overall and definitely didn't stick the landing.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a solid return to form after Half-Genie Hero, bringing back the interconnected Metroidvania world I'd been hoping for while keeping the gorgeous character art and charming writing the series is known for. The new fusion transformation system is a genuine improvement — no more stopping to dance every time you want to switch forms, which keeps the momentum going through exploration and combat. That said, the game practically drowns you in healing items and gems, so don't expect much of a challenge; I had my hair whip fully upgraded before finishing the first dungeon. The loading times are also genuinely painful and break up the pacing more than they should for a 2D game. Still, if you're a fan of the series or just want a fun, breezy Metroidvania with monster girls and great animation, it's well worth picking up — ideally on sale.

经典类银，画风好看，音乐好听，不过地图太容易迷路了，幸好每次都会标记出来接下来的目标。缺点是无法标记地图上的点吧，经常是这边地图过不去，那边也有东西挡着，但是不能做标记，要花大量的时间跑图。收集道具只有生命碎片和金块，但是因为不给做标记，完全不记得哪里有东西了，懒得重复跑图了，正常玩还是挺舒服的。

Excellent metroidvania game, really beautiful 2D artwork and graphics, great music and responsive controls.

Characters are interesting and very funny even though the story itself is not that much deep.
The graphics and character designs of Shantae are the highlights. It's a beautiful game to look at, especially the 2D anime cutscenes.
Music is also great, and I really liked the intro where they made an original song for the game and it reminded me of the old animes that I watched when I was a kid that had original songs. Very very rare to see original intros these days.

Gameplay is rather simple and incredibly easy due to big gems and food drops, but is very fun and fast with many different secrets and mechanics. The transformations system really revamps the 'metroidvania' aspect of the game a lot where you're constantly seeing stuff in the maps that become interactable after you unlock a certain skill. I think they've improved the overall system a lot compared to Half Genie Hero because now we can just use the transformations based on context by pressing a button instead of having to choose it all the time. The maps are very well interconnected with a lot of secrets to collect and discover as you progress and unlock more transformations and dances, but backtracking is still a thing in the game; not too much, standard for these type of games, but backtracking is necessary and notable for sure.

Took me around 7.5 hours to beat playing normally focusing on the story and getting a few collectibles on the way. The game doesn't tell you directly where to go, it just gives a few hints and sometimes none at all so having a guide opened to avoid wasting time and backtracking is recommended, unless you really like these metroidvania-like exploration where you go back to previous areas to fully explore the map to collect all the items.

The only downside for me in the game is the boss battles which are repetitive and boring because all the bosses have like only 2 or 3 repeatable scripted attack patterns. The big food and gem quantity drops also contribute to this aspect, making the battles even more trivial.

Shantae is one of my favorite metroidvania games. Very fun and beautiful game with great characters that got affected a bit by repetitive battles.
Seven Sirens may is not the best of the series but it's still great.

If I'm being realistic, it's not that great of a game. The unlocks in a metroidvania should not only be keys, but also improve your moveset and you will realistically only use 2 of the unlocks frequently in regular gameplay, where one of those you will find at the very end of the game. The bossfights are very hit or miss, I liked some a lot while I think others should be taught in game design classes on what not to do (Harsh, but that's how I feel anyway). Why do I recommend the game? Because it's good enough to be fun, I like jumping around as Shantae and collecting stuff. A very solid 6/10. And, one positive, I actually managed to finish a game I started, I usually just let them sit there for 6 months.

Gameplay's on the poor side for a game in this series, and especially compared to others in the genre. Movement and attack speed are honestly a bit TOO fast, and some enemies are health sponges for no real reason. Had actual pain in my hand from a timed segment near the end of the game due to combat. I would personally like to see the attack speed removed entirely, and damage buffed up instead.

Music and cutscenes are great. Art in the regular game is fine, but nothing amazing. The actual story is par for the course.

I don't feel like I'll be full clearing this one, sadly.

I love Shantae, Pirate's Curse is absolutely my favorite, and my personal recommendation to anyone looking to play a Shantae game for the first time.
This game in particular though.. is kinda rough. I find the movement really slow, and unfun to traverse the world, and with these types of games, you're going to need to backtrack quite a bit. Also, visually, the sprites don't look very good in my opinion, and the areas feel bland... the animated cutscenes look lovely though!
I still plan on playing other Shantae games, i havent lost all faith, Seven Sirens just doesn't really hit the spot unfortunately

Me estaba divirtiendo mucho con este juego ya que me encanta todos los juegos de shantae que he jugado hasta ahora , pero en este me esta ocurriendo un error que no hay solucion aparente y es que va mas rapido de lo que realmente tendria que ir , en mi primera partida iba todo bien , la segunda empezo con el problema , baje los fps a 60 y se soluciono , en la tercera partida ya no funciona tampoco , los he puesto hasta en 50 , cambia vsync y los hz de pantalla son de una pantalla de hace años lo cual no supera los60 hz , me da una rabia no poder terminar el juego por un fallo tecnico y no puedo jugar con esta velocidad por que los reflejos no me dan y me como literalmente ataques y enemigos sin poder hacer casi nada .

Игра увлекает и удерживает во-первых, хорошим платформингом и занимательной метроидванией (с поиском секретов и сражениями с боссами) - хотя всё это довольно просто.
Во-вторых, игра завлекает эротичностью. Давно я играл в EA Play в Santae Half-Genie Hero и был поражен этим. И в этой игре, тоже бросается в глаза фан-сервис) Тебе ничего не показывают, но всё намекает ;) Фигуры полуоткрыты, у всех персонажей (даже у специализированных npc), у боссов и ряда врагов - женские фигуры, прорисованы все формы тела и всё постоянно акцентуировано.
Игра русифицирована. Яркая, приятная глазу рисовка.
Ещё раз повторюсь - игра (впрочем вся серия) специально провокационно эротична. Но при этом всё это просто рисовка и постановка, никакого nsfw\хентая или наготы и прочего в игре нет))

As a side note, the horn level in this game is on the line of being an H-game. And as someone who consumes A LOT of such games on this platform, Wayforward should just stop dancing around the line and just embrace the kind of game they clearly want to make. I mean, we can't rely on the fans to do it for them forever.

Esse jogo é aquele tipo de experiência que abraça a gente sem pedir licença. Dá pra sentir o carinho em cada detalhe, desde o visual super fofinho até a personalidade da Shantae, que é simplesmente um combo de magia, doçura e carisma — impossível não lembrar de alguém especial quando se joga 😌✨

A trilha sonora é um destaque absurdo. Ela mistura aquele clima 8-bit nostálgico com uma pegada moderna que deixa tudo vivo, energético e viciante. É o tipo de música que você percebe que tá cantarolando sem nem notar.

O level design é bem esperto. Não é fácil demais, nem injusto — mas sim aquele desafiador safado que às vezes dá uma raivinha 😤, e logo depois vem a satisfação de “ok, consegui”. Exploração, plataformas e habilidades novas se encaixam muito bem, mantendo o ritmo sempre interessante.

Visualmente, o jogo é um charme só. Colorido, expressivo, cheio de identidade. Tudo conversa com o tom leve, divertido e ao mesmo tempo aventureiro da série.

E no fim das contas, Shantae and the Seven Sirens é isso:
um jogo fofo, divertido, musical, que desafia sem afastar e conforta sem ser bobo. Ainda mais especial por ter vindo de presente — porque quando um jogo vem carregado de afeto, ele marca diferente.

Se você já ama a série Shantae, esse aqui não decepciona.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens com certeza é o melhor jogo da franquia, considerado por mim como um metroidvania, realmente.

O jogo elimina qualquer traço de plataforma tradicional com elementos de backtracking que os outros jogos tinham e reformula a série, trazendo mecânicas já exploradas na franquia só que melhorando elas. Adoro as cutscenes do jogo, dá pra ver que a equipe desenvolvedora teve uma atenção especial para a obra.

Что-то сделали лучше в сиквеле, что-то хуже, в целом хорошая игра, на 6 из 10 тянет, элемент метроидвании явно гораздо лучше, чем в полу-джинне, мир теперь не разделен на уровни, можно свободно ходить и исследовать ранее не доступные части карты, собирать секретики, хоть они и хуже чем в прошлой части, уникальных наград нет, ты собираешь либо сердечки, либо самородки, прикольно что можно фармить монстров на местный аналог амулетов, дающие пассивные баффы, а вот музыка, полюбившаяся мне по полу-джинну, к сожалению, в этой части блеклая и не запоминающаяся, так же как и дизайн локаций, зато вот бубастый дизайн 80% персонажей и мобов мне нравится, одобряю

22.5h十血决定模式通关，8/10分。

刚玩时被它那特色鲜明的立绘、美术和音乐所吸引，即使桑塔无法向上或向下，只能水平攻击，但还是一口气玩了7h。

就体量来说很短，7-10h之间即可通关。前期资金紧缺、回血手段少、血量低导致玩起来举步维艰，每一瓶药都要精打细算，难度相对较大。

中期拿到回血魔法后已经好了很多，且此时货币已经有冗余，买两瓶药还是轻轻松松的，这时已经轻松不少；

后期拿到回蓝卡牌后直接无敌，全伤通关，站撸BOSS，但凡闪一下就是对回血魔法的不尊重，这时难度几乎没有，且所有道具均已买完，货币达999上限，玩起来已经没啥意思。

怪兽卡牌算是一大特色，但部分卡牌爆率极低（飞天哥布林）、部分卡合成条件苛刻（10张鱼人）、七张赛娜卡要求地图全收集。且不知道是bug还是啥，全地图舔了3遍，还是缺一个金块，导致只有49/50张怪兽卡，算是一大遗憾。

BOSS战的话，说实话很无聊，超级无聊，与其说是BOSS战，更不如说是跳跳乐大集锦。

游戏内置地图只能说聊胜于无，除了看看路以外没有任何用，不能显示你乌贼、金块、部分宝石有无收集，只能一遍又一遍的舔图。我不要求你做的这么细，至少像终焉之莉莉丝一样用不同颜色提示该地域有没有全收集吧？后期至少花了6h去舔你那屁大点地图，还TM不知道舔没舔干净。

还有一点就是这游戏只有在存档点才能手动存档，无自动存档，所以养成随手存档的习惯很重要。

总的来说，美术立绘音乐出色，前期探图期上头，后期乏味，BOSS战拉大胯，整体值得一玩，好评推荐。

Прошёл «Семь сирен» полностью — и я сейчас пишу это с тем самым ощущением, которое бывает только после идеальной игры. За 26 часов я успел влюбиться, заново удивиться, разозлиться, словить тревогу на глубине и устать так, что мозг плавился — но это была чертовски приятная усталость.

✔ Музыка — вообще отдельный восторг

Первая игра Shantae без Джейка Коффмана… но, честно? Три новых композитора сделали такое, что я пару раз реально сидел с мурашками.
Глубоководные территории — сначала тревога, потом красота. Локация «Мхи» — напряжённость, но не страх.
Разные стили, разные эмоции, но всё звучит так, будто они пытались сохранить настроение серии — и у них получилось.

✔ Анимационные вставки — конфетка

Аниме-интрo? Да!
Серьёзно, заставка «Rise and Shine, Shantae» — просто идеальный тон для всего приключения. Плюс короткие кат-сцены — и игра ощущается живее. WayForward красавчики.

✔ Атмосфера и локации

Мхи, глубина, лаборатории, Арена Таун, Армор Таун — всё нарисовано с таким вниманием, что ощущается как путешествие.
И переход на полноценный 2D вместо 2.5D игре только в плюс — стиль стал цельнее, аккуратнее.

✔ Сюжет и загадки

После всех частей Shantae я честно не ожидал такого количества интриги.
Затонувший город, сирены, тайны — всё подаётся постепенно, аккуратно, и это цепляет. Не «просто собери печати», как раньше.

✔ Режимы игры

Тут контента вообще как в двух играх сразу:

Классический режим — как основной путь.

Итоговый режим — слегка усложнён, ощущается как «правильный оригинал».

Режим новичка — чистый фан, враги падают как бумажные.

Полная колода — все карты сразу.

Брутальный режим — наоборот, сам добываешь, но зато можно ставить сколько хочешь.

И да… попытка пройти брутальный без осьминожков? Не-не-не. Это прям игра в «как быстро у тебя сгорит ж… душа».

✔ Про способности

Она больше не танцует, чтобы превращаться — теперь трансформация мгновенная. Канон слегка нарушен, но это реально удобно, и механика стала динамичнее.

✔ Боссы

И вот тут началось веселье.
Они классные по идее… но жирные как никогда.
Иногда я бил по боссу и думал:
«Я точно это правильно делаю? Может, я слабее уровня на десять?»
Нет. Просто здоровье у них как у древних богов.
Финальная битва — красивая, эффектная, но тоже под конец становится «давайте уже, ребята…».

✔ Единственный персонаж, кто прям разочаровал — Скай

Не узнаю девочку. Вместо доброй подруги — капризная истеричность и эгоизм. Возможно, так и задумано по сюжету, чтобы ты чувствовал что-то новое… но ощущение странное.

✔ Локализация

Вот это реально косяк.
Ошибки, смена рода, повторяющиеся фразы — иногда заметно.
Хочется пройти на японском или английском, чтобы увидеть игру такой, как её задумали.

✔ Технические мелочи

У меня экран иногда «резало» на полосы. Верт. синхры нет, настройки монитора не помогают.
Но, честно, когда ты увлечён — эти разрывы вообще перестают существовать.

⭐ Итог

10/10.
Шикарная игра.
По ощущениям — второе место в серии сразу после «Проклятия пирата».
Местами она даже будто бы нереальная — как сон, который слишком красивый, чтобы быть правдой.

Я прошёл всё: все режимы, все ачивки, все секреты. Теперь можно и отдохнуть)

That charming, weird little Gameboy Color game has modern adaptations? I would have never guessed that. Unfortunately, at least based on this, Shantae should have stayed in the early 2000s. I originally played this on my Switch and got bored, but after the piece of junk broke before it was even obsolete despite relatively light use, and I heard the game had a new hard mode, I decided to give it another shot on here.

Sadly, the "hard" mode mostly just makes the game more tedious, by increasing enemy health or putting enemy spawns in unusual places like behind foreground elements that can damage you regardless of skill. But more importantly, this is not Shantae in any meaningful sense, it's a crappy Metroidvania with basic, slow movement, and boring levels that got slapped with the Shantae IP to drive sales.

Shantae was fun because it was WEIRD, not because it was a Metroidvania, but this game succeeds at neither. Shantae was about a sweet Indian girl who attacks enemies by whipping her purple hair, and can turn into various animals by performing sexy dances because she's half-genie, who guards a town against a pirate queen who randomly has purple skin and commands "pirates" who seem to be human-ant hybrids. Also, zombies are a race that peacefully coexists with humans like elves or dwarfs would in a generic fantasy world, it's randomly the most impressive game in the Gameboy Color, everything is lightly sexualized down to even the rotten corpses, oh, and the strangest part of all: The game I just described has a western as opposed to Japanese origin regardless of the modern games using anime graphics, despite most probably thinking something that absurd could only come out of Japan.

This game is completely lacking in that strangeness aside from the strangeness it simply took from the original. Literally the only thing separating this from just a random, generic anime Metroidvania aside from the butchered Shantae IP is that the cutscenes were made by the people who animated Kill La Kill, so just skip the game and watch the cutscenes on Youtube instead.

Shantae fans, don't buy a mid Metroidvania just because it has Shantae on it in the way a child buys a box of Cheez-Its just because it has Spiderman on the box, and play a real Metroidvania like Symphony of the Night or Metroid Prime. (The original trilogy, not 4, which is modern AAA slop.)

Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a wonderful little game that sees everyone's favourite gooner bait, half Genie return to her roots in a very well polished if sometimes slightly annoying metroidvania.

After the initial disappointment of half Genie Hero I was a little but skeptical going into this game, however those feelings have been unfounded as wayforward have crafted an excellent game, it's not as long or as complex as your hollow knights but it's a fantastic game to play if you enjoy the genre.

Story is sorta whatever but the writing is pretty amusing with some fun 4th wall breaks and tame humour, graphics are fantastic with lots of creativity put into environments and character designs (hope you like big boob's bikinis) and the music is fantastic as ever.

Gameplay is a pretty rudimentary affair of navigating the map and finding movement abilities, i loved changing into animal form with a press of a button, freeing up dancing to fill a different niche this time around. The map is fantastic as well, it's super easy to read and can even have waypoints to stop you getting lost. You can also turn that off if you'd rather.

Similar to half Genie Hero there a bunch of gamemodes which really add replayability, speedrun modes and a few extra unlockables as well.

Really my biggest complaint is that the game has a bunch of annoying fetch quests, they aren't that bad but tend to muddy the pace and do feel like padding, this is a short game anyway but the collectibles quests are extra egregious.

All in all this an easy recommendation from me, I'm a shantae fan but was worried we'd lose the metroidvania after half Genie Hero decided to go down the levels route but I'm so happy that we are back to what shantae does best, being gooner bait for weird 40 year old men.

Мила, коротка метроїдвана, яка ідеально підійде для коротких сесій відпочинку на годину-півтори. Їй важко утримати тебе довше, оскільки сюжету як такого нема. Хоча якоюсь мірою це навіть плюс для новеньких. Ви можете познайомитися з персонажами та вам буде достатньо знати це друг, чи ворог. Трохи незвичною була механіка з нескінченним спавном монстрів, легко нафармити багато валюти й від кінцівки навіть стало трохи світло на душі. Іноді музика навіть викликала відчуття дежавю. З мінусів був дрібний глюк, що не зарахувало печеру в кінці, на початку відчув себе старим від анімації стояння на місці Шантайки (трясця вкачало), навичка зору, що вказує на порожнечу, бос батли з рубрики у мене дофіга і більше хілок та на цьому все. Загалом сподобалося.

Shantae advance will be next and my last installment. Hope there is yet more to come :D

В принципе приятная часть серии. Имеет весёлый саунд, красивый визуал с дизайном и милую харизму.

Из минусов наверное очень ужасный промтовский перевод на русский, не ровный темп, где по началу сложновато, а ближе к концу ты устраиваешь трах всему живому и не живому. Ну и малое количество способностей для перевоплощения, в прошлых Шанти вроде бы было по больше и веселее в этом плане.

Кароч весёлая игра, не смотря на огрехи. Not good, not terrible. Лучше начать знакомство с серией с других частей, эта игра для фанатов скорее.

Out of all of the Shantae Games in the series, this one is probblably the most "modern". In terms of features. Tho I Strongly recommend you play this on definitive mode. Because that's where the game is complete in terms of dialogue and features. If you play it on legacy, the bosses will feel like they lack presence and they also have no dialogue. Not to mention the game is way too insultingly easy on Legacy mode. Which is why I recommend playing it on definitive mode, As it makes the games difficulty very fair and enemies are an actual threat.

As a shantae game , this game is really enjoyable and you will definitely get your moneys worth it. it's a solid sequel all around. If you love Shantae and metroidvanias, You'll definitely love this one! GET THIS!

The female characters' desings are a little on the nose, but this is a Shantae game so no shock here.
I bought this game at a huge discount but I belive it's normal price is worth the fun you will get.

O PICO DA FRANQUIA!!! Gameplay excelente, puzzles simples (mas legais), melhores boss battles da franquia até o momento (e sinceramente acho difícil o próximo game superar) e exploração de cenário muito gostosa. Quase fiz 100% na primeira jogatina, mesmo sem guia.

O jogo puxa bastante do Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (que era o meu favorito até jogar esse) e aprimora em muitos aspectos como história, cutscenes, personagens e mecânicas no geral. Voltar ao estilo metroidvania fez muito bem à série, mesmo que isso tenha custado quantidade de conteúdo. No fim do dia, essa pegada combina bem mais com Shantae do que ser um jogo plataforma de fases.

Ao assistir a cutscene final, tinha um enorme sorriso no meu rosto. Quando comecei essa jornada de jogar a franquia, nunca imaginei que me apegaria tanto aos jogos e aos personagens assim (principalmente os personagens). É muito divertido ver as interações deles em cada situação estúpida e boba que acontece ao longo da história.

Acredito que, como pontos negativos, só tem duas coisas: uma falta de marcadores ou algo que te ajude a saber quais pepitas faltam e o estilo de arte que é melhor que o do Half Genie Hero, mas pior que o Pirate's Curse (mas isso é só minha opinião).

Enfim, jogasso, 10/10. Tô até meio receoso pro próximo, porque acho difícil superar.

This is arguably the best Shantae game. It has a massive open-world-style 2D map, excellent platforming, a good story, and lots of variety. Switching between abilities is smoother than in previous games, and the movement options feel pretty seamless. The gameplay is some of the best in the metroidvania genre. The music is disappointing, though, given the excellent music of previous games.

クリアまでプレイしましたが苦痛でしかありませんでした。
意味の分からないストーリー＆翻訳、弾幕ゲーかと思わせる雑魚の攻撃、つまらないボス戦。
序盤は死にゲーです。中盤以降は回復スキルによる強行突破で敵の攻撃は避けず攻撃ボタン連打ゲーに変ります。

まぁ色々書きましたがオススメはしません！

这是继《海盗的诅咒》下来我玩的第二部香缇系列作品，人物形象依然是这么的性感又可爱，我个人很喜欢这样的画风。剧情轻松幽默，音乐很棒，游戏整体难度不高，熟悉了怪物攻击模式慢慢上手之后越打越爽快，可能是汉化的原因，这作我也没遇到之前卡剧情的情况。要说缺点的话就是游戏系统和地图设计太 old school 了。

总体来说是一款值得一玩轻松愉快的类银佳作。

Пройшов класику на 65%, тепер піду все зберу на 100%, спробую отримати всі досягнення, короче, контенту в грі навалом, музика крута, мультики дуже круто намальовані, я реально ніби-то старий мультик продивився... Я так кайфанув від проходження. Раджу всім!

This is my first game in the Shantae franchise (received in a MV bundle). It has some strengths but technical issues are what broke the back of things for me. The game does expect that you know who many of the returning characters are (e.g.: Risky Boots) but it wasn't a really big deal for me. None of the characters have a whole lot going on in terms of arc where it would be an issue to come in part way. I think if you are just here to see more Shantae you will probably love the game, but I don't feel it has a broader appeal.

+ Upbeat and fun aesthetic. I can tell the artist is really passionate about all the designs.
+ Bosses were fun.
- Game is directly tied to framerate, so if your computer is too fast the game runs at an unreasonable rate.
- Nothing really innovative here in terms of areas, abilities, or enemies.
- Combat feels pretty shallow with just the hair whip.

Very nice graphics. The background graphics are very good at establishing a relaxed and stimulating mood.

The sound was especially nice in the lava/turtle dungeon.

Very cute anime cutscenes.

My favorite Shantae game so far and even one of the best metroidvania's I've played. The game combines a connected metroidvania world with linear dungeons, which works really well. The level design is excellent as usual in Wayforwards games, and there are lots of different enemies and bosses. Defeated enemies sometimes drop cards, which can be used to gain perks that suit your playstyle. Only thing I didn't like are the dances to reveal hidden objects or loot, since it doesn't add anything to the game and is only time consuming. But don't let this prevent you to play this gem. Shantae rules! <3

Pirates Curse is like the Super Metroid (ONLY flaw of super metroid is using the select button to use missiles instead of the R button lol) and this one is like the Zero mission of the franchise. This one has quality of life improvements and i think both are amazing. These 2 are the must plays imo of the Shantae series. if you LOVE these then itll be worth trying the others.
