Picked this up cheap and went in expecting very little, but Scourge: Outbreak turned out to be a decent time — as long as you bring friends. The Gears of War-style cover mechanics and Mass Effect-ish squad abilities give it a familiar feel, and blasting through waves of alien enemies in co-op is genuinely fun chaos. Solo is a different story: the teammate AI is shockingly bad, with squadmates ignoring your commands, standing on grenades, and running into your line of fire at the worst moments. The guns also feel underpowered against bullet-sponge enemies, and the shotgun has the effective range of a firm handshake. But for $8 with a few friends who don't mind a rough-around-the-edges sci-fi shooter, there's enough here to have a good time — just don't expect polish.

The game isn't bad, but...
The story is just there for filler.
The gameplay is the same from beginning to end.
The game has bugs, but the problem is the poor balance, the hero is terribly unendurable. Comparison with everything else.
Grenades are terribly weak.
The skills are interesting but either too slow or too weak.
The upgrade system isn't bad, but the improvements are minimal and don't make you any more durable.
AI are as useful as they are stupid.
Multiplayer is dead, but at least there are bots and you can upgrade there too, not just in missions.
You also get The Scourge Project: Episode 1 and 2 for free. Which is almost the same as the game without some improvements and it seems like they haven't learned from their mistakes and it can only be played offline.
The only odd bug was that I got 5 achievements when I first started the game and two skills were at level 2.
I would say the best is with a discount, the best, but I never saw one, but need one.

First of all, this game is outdated. It belongs to the past, but it brings back some old memories.

I completed the first chapter in about an hour and earned an achievement that only 25% of players have for finishing the first level. From this, I can tell the game isn't popular. After playing for an hour, I decided to stop and I've got a general impression for a review.

One thing stands out in the game is that you're not alone like in most shooting games, instead you have 3 teammates, and they actually feel smart for a game made in 2014. They can find cover, suppress enemies when I'm reloading, revive fallen teammates without risking themselves too much, and take control of heavy machine guns when I'm not nearby. They're always active.

The action feels decent. You can take cover, roll, and the enemies often do a funny flip before they die and if there happens to be a barrier in the way, their bodies can spin in place. There’s a clear path marked by a green dot to follow, your tasks usually involve hacking or collecting items, all you need is to hold the "E" key and wait for the progress bar to fill. Once completed, it often triggers waves of enemies, which quickly makes me lose interest.

The maps are alright, but the weapons feel weak like loaded with rubber bullets. Even when aiming for the head or chest, it can take a dozen shots to take down an enemy, whereas it only takes around 5 hits for me to be knocked out. The grenade is the only weapon that feels effective. That said, the character details are well done, so are the facial expressions. The dialogues are straightforward, with acceptable voice acting.

Overall, I’d say if you’ve been playing video games for at least 10 years, this game might have some nostalgic value. Otherwise, it’s probably not worth your time.

Got this for 1$ and i still feel like i got ripped off, this is a really bad clone of gears of war, graphics are nice and it looks cool, but paired with a generic story that goes nowhere, clunky and input delayed movement, unsatisfying hit feedback with shooting and melee, every enemy is a bullet sponge even if you headshot one with a shotgun point blank, the entire game is repetitive with zero variation from the first mission to the last apart from a couple bosses. There are abilities for the 4 characters, that is a cool idea on paper, your shield you can deploy lasts about 4 seconds then you need to recharge and the hitboxes for your "special attack" is so wonky you will land a hit maybe 25% of the time. there are only 4 guns in the entire game, only 3 real enemy types outside bosses, as enemy variety is is only cosmetic but most of them do the same thing. te cover system is all over the place sometimes it doesn't work when you wants to and it works when are trying to combat roll and you stick to cover. Bosses are as basic as it gets, fight a boss while dodging attacks, and every third of their health you knock you fight the same minion enemies you have been fighting the entire game. I already knew going into this, that this was going to be a 6/10 game at best, but this game is not only boring with its story but i thought st the very least the 3rd person combat would be fun even if its repetitive. Dear lord i was wrong, there is a reason why this game didn't sell, even for people who enjoy action slop games this will be a pain to play. Don't waste your time this, if you want a 3rd person shooter play Ghost Recon Future Soldier as that game is miles better than this

it's not a disaster like what some reviews say but it's not fantastic either.

Pros:
+ Fun Gears of War clone if you are willing to giving it a chance
+ Cool weapons

Cons:
- Buggy
- Some sections are really frustrating especially in high difficulties

Its just an ok game and need some touchup...
The good thing is that game do run smoothly...

The problem is the gameplay mechanism.
Even the guns are not that fun to use. not many fun gun....and for the shortgun...it doesnt have the blast feel...like shooting an air gun on enemies.
The special abilities are not that useful...should have put more use on the abilities..even the teammate order system is basically useless...
sometime you want to shoot from the side of the wall....the crosshair aim at the enemies but the gun shot at the wall...

The AI teammate is not that good....sometime running around like headless chicken....

so basically, the game need a lot of touchup....

Imagina um Gears of War mais genérico e sem metade do apelo: esse é Scourge: Outbreak, um história confusa e apressada, inimigos repetitivos e infinitos, alguns bugs e uma gunplay pobre. Esse jogo foi obviamente feito pra coop, da pra jogar sozinho, mas eu não vejo motivo pra jogar isso hoje em dia, principalmente porque existem MUITAS opções melhores, eu não pagaria nada por esse jogo.

Imagine a more generic Gears of War without half the appeal: that's Scourge: Outbreak, a confusing and rushed story, repetitive and endless enemies, some bugs and poor gunplay. This game was obviously made for coop, you can play it alone, but I don't see any reason to play it nowadays, especially since there are SO many better options, I wouldn't pay anything for this game.

First off, how is this game slept on?! It is a rare achievement to get any further than stage 2 out of 4..... this is better than Gears of War. Gameplay is tight and engaging. It is a ton of fun! I highly recommend coop and press TAB then type FOV followed by whatever FOV you want. Passionately made game here, set up for a sequel, and sadly never getting one since people can't appreciate quality nowadays.

Its hard to recommend playing this game, if you want a half decent shooter to play with a bunch of friends for a few hours its fine.

I played singleplayer initially on nightmare mode but chapter 2 gets pointlessly difficult and nonstop enemies
Enemies are bullet spongey even on easy
Checkpoints are space a bit to far apart

You cant skip the startup logo's like you can in a lot of games but you can skip all in game dialogue, which gets doubly annoying as the sound for startup is at 12.

Camera gets a bit wonky sometimes when jumping to avoid a grenade or bullets, as well as multiple buttons to get into cover or that get you into cover.

Overall its just eh, probably good with mates.

Классика шутеров от первого лица с незамысловатой графикой в основной кампании Вы играете с 3 нпс против ботов.Неписи шустрые и показалось мне(на среднем уровне могут всё)а нет погибает группа и раз и два...Оказалось надо убивать главных ботов-крабов,потом исчезают остальные.Попытки прорваться -летальный исход.Оружие-пистолет,дробовик,и пара автоматов в небольшой модификации.

Забытый шутер для 4 игроков с сюжетной компанией и сетевой игрой...

Сюжет скажем так посредственный.
Графика хромает но не на обе ноги.
Геймплей однообразный. От точки А до точки Б попутно убивая врагов + то дверь нужно открыть то чет взломать...
Сетевая игра пустая. Отсутствуют игроки.
Персонажи по большей части мало чем отличаются.
Игра сама по себе короткая. не более 10 часов.
Плюсов как таковых выделить не могу, но не сказал бы что игра плохая. Лично мне было приятно пройти ее и может через какое нибудь время я пройду ее еще раз. Игра точно не плохая но и не хорошая. В таком выборе я лучше поставлю палец вверх чем вниз.

e chato não recomendar esse jogo pois sinto que não joguei o mais importante: o modo online
o jogo era para ser um jogo cooperativo no estilo left 4 dead. Porém não tem mais ninguem jogando.

O jogo também não envelheceu bem. Os graficos são ruins e mesmo assim meu PC moderno mal da conta.
Os controles são pesados e a ação não muito dinamica (no modo offline)

This is an exTREMEly rough Gears clone that I cannot recommend for its many gameplay flaws and its keyword-laden story of tell-don't-show, but I either didn't spend a dime on it, or it came as part of a cheap game bundle at some point, and in either case I don't feel too badly stung by this. Good lord is this campaign a slog, though. This game plays like a bad rail shooter.

It really isn't worth your time. The demo is okay and captures everything there is to know. There is little to no weapon progression and every enemy is way too spongy - especially late game. Play one of the Red Faction games instead.

Este juego lo compre hace mucho tiempo ya. No es malo pero tiene pocas armas y las misiones son todas parecidas. Los enemigos están bien fuertes, la IA es buena, tanto de los enemigos como de los compañeros, estos se destacan. Los gráficos todavía bien. La historia ni importa, es un shotter igualmente. Es ultralineal y se guarda solamente cada largo rato. Los personajes son interesantes. Como es un poco monótono no creo que lo vaya a terminar alguna vez, pero lo recomiendo, más al precio que está.

Completamente desbalanceado em Single Player local.
Veja bem, eu sei que o jogo foi feito pra COOP, mas desconsiderar que alguém vai querer jogar solo é um erro.
Enquanto os inimigos eram "humanos" deu pra levar de boa, mas quando entraram os monstros em ação o jogo me quebrou completamente, a IA não ajudava muito e os inimigos eram padrão GEARS, muito resistentes e causando muito dano. Eu descarregava um pente inteiro e nada dos bicho morrer, Shotgun a queima roupa mal causava dano... Mds do céu, achei horrivelmente desbalanceado, ou seja, o jogo REALMENTE FOI FEITO SÓ PRA COOP.
Eu realmente apoio produções indie no geral, visualmente o jogo tá bem bacana mas com o balanceamento atual não tá legal não.

PS: Detalhe que eu tava jogando em Nightmare até os monstros aparecerem, eu baixei 2 vezes dificuldade e continuei tomando sacode.

Another third person shooter where another lab experiment goes awry and pew pew ensues. Overall it has a Gear of War vibe and it was okay. Four player co-op (with bots if needed). Not bad, not great either. Short campaign maybe 15 hours and another 6 for all achieves.

This game was really cool at first but the biggest gripe I have is that every enemy - whether trash mobs or boss monsters - is an absolute bullet sponge. I ran out of ammo constantly. You can head shot an enemy soldier probably five or six times before they go down. It's too bad because otherwise this game would be pretty fun - especially on a steam sale. I wanted to like this and I played a decent session of it but I got really tired of essentially reloading my gun after every kill. It seemed like enemies almost literally required an entire clip of your ammo just to off them. That got boring pretty quick.

Сам по себе шутер нормальный, но, лять, как меня задушил босс-самолёт и выбесили всратые тараканы! Сюжетный поворот такой себе, задел на продолжение никакого интереса не вызвал.

Scourge Outbreak es un Shooter en 3º persona realizado por Tragnarion Studios , un estudio español y por lo tanto me animé a probarlo.
El juego me costó menos de un 1$ y para mi sorpresa , el tutorial me dejó con un buen sabor de boca pero a partir de ahí , a nivel narrativo y jugable empieza a mostrar las carencias que estarán presentes durante toda la historia.
La historia en sí es corta ( 5 horas) y para nada rejugable ya que no hay secundarias ni ningún tipo de coleccionables que te animen a ello ,dicen que el coop es mas disfrutable y supongo que el multi competitivo estará muerto a día de hoy pero solo puedo hablar de la historia.
A lo largo de sus 4 capitulos , vemos como el concepto de "vaciar una sala de enemigos , andar 30 metros y esperar a que más enemigos vengan , se repite " , tenemos varios enfrentamientos distintos que sin ser novedosos rompen un poco el esquema y se agradece.
A nivel narrativo es flojito y yo estuve perdido durante toda la historia ( tuve que leer en foros para enterarme de algo y a nivel jugable es muy corriente , coberturas , enemigos que tanquean mas , otros menos , un arsenal genérico y poco inspirado ( el francotirador mi preferido) y poco más.
Me ha gustado mucho el tema de estadísticas en game.
En conclusión , es un 4-5 en todo pero lo recuerdo con cierto agrado.
Pd: el cap 2 es un infierno , no me lo quiero imaginar en dificultad extrema :_D

Scourge Outbreak aka Cringe of War is a terrible clone of Gears of War. It definitely has the edgy part down, but lacks the smooth and sexy movement, the tight gunplay, the gore and executions. The game is complete ♥♥♥♥ in terms of balance, even on normal you get taken down in a few hits and have to unload an entire magazine at each enemy.

The level design itself is not bad, but the enemy encounters are placed on terrible positions at times and your team AI is an AI in name only, because there barely is any intelligence at all. These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stand around useless most of the time and when you get gunned down they just run to the player for a revive and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ at all the enemies around you.

The story is a convoluted mess, but has some really funny cringe moments and terrible voice acting. With better balance this game could have been pretty average.

Плюсы:
- Не самая ужасная графика.
- Наличие кооператива.
- Саундтрэки. Тут они хотя бы имеются.
Минусы:
- Баги. Баг персонажа(нельзя ничего делать кроме как бегать), баг с зависанием игры на чек-поинте при игре в кооперативе, автоматической отсоединение от сессии и т.д
- Однообразный геймплэй. Беги, стреляй, защищай.
- Ужасная стрельба.
- Не убиваемые враги. В некоторых приходилось всаживать 200 пуль, чтобы убить.
- Непонятность миссий. Порой было абсолютно непонятно, что хочет от нас игра.
Не отношу к минусам или плюсам :
- Сюжет. Он как бы есть, но он до жути примитивен и показывается полностью в конце. Не сказать, что это минус, но явно не плюс.

Поиграть втроём-вчетвером в принципе можно, но игра на любителя. Плохо реализована на ПК. К покупке без скидок - не советую.

Моя оценка игры: 4/10.

Очень слабая игра для 2014 года, тем более который был портанут с консоли. Постараюсь написать что не так с этой игрой по подробнее.
Плюсы:
- Неплохая графика, уровня 2006-2007 года, для 2014 года конечно же плохо, спросите почему плюс? да потому что она хотя бы смотрится не вырвиглазно.
- Наличие кооператива вплоть до 4-х человек, но советую играть как минимум втроём, потому что некоторые миссии вывозить вдвоём очень трудно, про соло даже говорить не буду.
- Есть сюжет, но с самого начала игры он непонятный, но к концу игры становится всё более менее понятно. Хотя концовка весьма непонятная, и возможно даже намекала на вторую часть игры.
Минусы:
- Баги. Их очень много, начиная того что у меня на стриме забагался персонаж, и кроме того как бегать и прыгать я нечего не мог, не стрелять, не подобрать оружие, не грены, нечего! так же у друга на одной из глав, просто отключала игра от сервера, друг так же оставался якобы на сервере, но боты, и я просто замирали намертво, от моего же лица это выглядит обычный кик/вылет игры.
- Скучный и однообразный геймплей, всё что вам надо будет делать, это бегать и стрелять, оборонять точки, и постоянно искать днк(типо кода/ключа) чтобы открыть дверь. И чаще всего игра даже не подсказывает что надо делать, а просто ставят тебя перед фактом мол "сделай это, а иначе дальше не пройдешь".
- Ужасное управление, и оно попросту не удобное.
- Интеллект врагов, очень сильный, вас будут нокать чуть ли не с 3-й пули, а у ваших товарищей интеллект на уровне мартышек, вместо того чтобы помочь встать мне, они будут бегать просто вокруг вас, и творить какой-то бред, и если вам повезёт то вас возродят. Игру проходили с другом на среднем уровни сложность, и игра уже очень сложная.
- Плохая оптимизация. Игра пару раз делала микрофризы на определенных моментах, и могла зависнуть намертво так, что поможет только перезагрузка пк.
- Саундтреки так себе.

По итогу могу сказать, что игра для своего выхода очень плохая, и реализована на пк крайне отвратительно, и поэтому я могу её рекомендовать покупать только по большой скидке, и только тем, кто будет в неё играть стаком, как минимум втроём. Лично мне игра не зашла, но хотя бы в коопе было весело сакать :D

Scourge: Outbreak is a third person shooter that lets you play with 3 bots or up to 3 to friends. With a big focus on coop gameplay, the story is naturally not very in-depth. The AI works fine against human enemies, but it has problems fighting enemies that are introduced later. It is essential to command the AI to fight these enemies manually - otherwise the helpless AI will go down fast. This is the reason why you see a lot of negative reviews saying that the game is frustratingly hard. Overall Scourge: Outbreak is a mediocre game that turns decent at times. With that being said, Red Faction Armageddon and the Lost Planet series are similar games in some ways and do it better.

One word: Generic

I liked the part where I was fighting a giant flying squid in space... but then I realized I had actually fallen asleep from boredom.

Scourge: Outbreak does nothing special, introduces nothing new and doesn't even try to do anything remotely original. It's your typical boring tps shooter utilizing dumb enemies with enormous healthbars and no imagination. Couple that with a tone-deaf by the numbers story with bland, lifeless characters and guns that feel like you are sneezing on your enemies. Dated visuals, dated game design decisions, dated gunplay.

No recomiendo este juego por varios motivos:
1- El final: le falta el final, como si hubieses una continuación (quizá en el dlc), no la hay, al menos en modo individual. Si lo hay en multijugador, no lo sé... vale que ya tiene un tiempo, pero no hay nadie.
2 - Controles toscos: Si vas corriendo cerca de una esquina, te vas a acabar cubriendo, y luego para salir de ahi salta, intenta moverte...
3 - Tus compañeros (bots) son mejores que tú: más daño, mejores armas... cuando salen los bichos los matan a la primera, tu puedes vaciar un cargador y nada de nada...

各种射击体验非常好，枪不会太飘，自己会捡别人抢里的子弹，地上比较多的弹夹，AI智商也可以

不过基本上来说毫无剧情，就是无脑突突突，然后半天过去了。。比较不好的是无限出兵的没啥提示要强冲(或者我没注意到？）保存点也不太清晰。。

Interesting how Many people find this game terrible..

I will share my experience here as I will leave a recommendation with a deep deep discount.

I found that the game was smooth, no crashes for me and Ran well on high settings, the voice acting is actually pretty fair for a low budget game from a small team, witty banter was funny at times.

Now for the story and gun play / Animations.

The story is lacking, seems to be void of serious depth but I still enjoyed the simple level layouts, animations are solid though I wish the special abilities your units have would mean more for strategy.

The gun play overall is shallow, the weapons don't feel impactful and strong, everything is weak including the chain gun.

You can only carrier 2 grenades as well which I found I was always out.

Sometimes your teammates are dumb as bricks, lazy and forgetful... really hurts my feelings but the good news is when you go down you are number 1 priority haha

The worst part of this game which actually almost killed it for me was the scourge themselves, you don't encounter them till later on but they can two shot you and the ba*stard are bullet sponges, like serious 50-75 rounds to kill 1 on normal, I had to reduce difficulty just to progress.

Overall I had fun for the price I paid, get it for less then 5$ and your doing well on this.

Well this is a basic third person shooter from an old era, if you just like playing through bland games that function okay this is alright for that, especially if its on a dirt cheap sale, surprisingly it supports ultrawide, and you can play around with cfg files a lot, should be sorted for a better base experience.

A jogabilidade não é boa, os inimigos são esponjas, e os graficos são meh
Bem eu tenho esse jogo a alguns anos porém nunca joguei, fui dar uma chance e realmente tentei, porém o fato de ser um jogo voltado para ser jogado online com outros pessoas e a AI aliada ser horrivel pode ser um dos motivos pelo qual eu não curti o jogo!
completei acredito eu que 2 capitulos ou level, e enfrentei o primeiro boss, o jogo em si não tem muita arma, e os DEVs fizeram de forma onde você tenha pouca munição, ai para balancear espalharam munições pelo mapa porém eles fizeram de uma forma onde tenta determinar qual arma você deve usar, já que teve uma parte aonde a unica munição que eu achava era para pistola, o bom é que os inimigos dropam munição então dava para se virar sem precisar pegar a pistola.
O jogo só permite você ter 2 armas e apenas 2 granadas além dos personagens terem 2 poderes, você consegue dar ordem para seus aliados só que até isso é quebrado não funcionando quando você precisa..

Bem é um jogo antigo e sei que foi feito com pouco orçamento porém não da para recomendar com as decisões tomadas pelos DEVs... inimigos que ficam nascendo infinitamente e inimigos esponjas são 2 das piores coisas que existe nos jogos!

При всём уважении к стараниям разработчиков — это действительно один из худших клонов гирзов, в которые приходилось играть. Бог с ней с графикой, но вот отсутствие интересной истории, удобного управления и хоть какого-то ощущения от стрельбы совсем закапывает игру. Единственный плюс - игра довольно короткая и позволяет себя пройти.
Как правило, инди-игры в подобном жанре не получаются совсем, и Scourge: Outbreak не стала исключением.

Бюджетный Gear of war для кооперативной игры подходит. Есть любопытные моменты вроде разных воспоминаний персонажей коих на выбор 4. Шутерная механика средняя игра на 6.5 балов.

Идея неплохая, в отличии от реализации. Не смотря на то, что Outbreak позиционируется как улучшенная версия Scourge, над ней всё ещё работать-и-работать (если бы это было в планах). На разок побаловаться в компании товарищей хватит, но не более. Что реально понравилось, так это арты к игре, обои для рабочего стола и трейлеры, на которые игра совершенно не похожа...

Well, I am usually pretty lenient towards fun but mediocre games. But this one is not just mediocre it is bad. I thought it look and play decent at first but no; it is one of the worst TPS I have ever played.

The one thing I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate in a game is unlimited spawning enemies without a spawner and this games is full of it. And it is made especially worse by the very limited ammo and the 2 guns limit with the ammo different for each guns.

To end this endless waves of enemies, you "just" have to reach the next waypoint that is usually behind said enemies. When enemies keep coming and coming, after a while, it gets so tedious that you just start to run through the wave and try to reach the waypoint. So fun.... :S

Without that, I might have tried to go through the whole game just to laugh at the story or some of the voice acting but it is just too bad for me to even do that.

I haven't tried the multiplayer, as I don't want to force any of my friends to play this ♥♥♥♥♥, so I can't comment on it.

It wasn't a terrible game, but I am a terrible FPS player, and on normal difficulty I am having trouble with ammo management in the first mission. The story would need to be super compelling for me to keep going, and while there is nothing wrong with the plot, it seems a bit generic.

Un [i]shooter[/i] qui aurait l'air d'un jeu smartphone de luxe ou d'un jeu console au rabais ? Vous espériez des aliens moches à soigner d'un coup de plomb, des pétoires en toc, vous couvrir du feu ennemi derrière des caisses en métal pendant six heures, vous rêviez d'une aventure fade, de couloirs longs et gris à courir avec trois alliés, forcément en IA puisqu'aucun copain ne voudra y jouer avec vous ? Vous vouliez un jeu à rajouter à la liste de ces mauvaises choses que vous aimez ? Ca tombe bien, en voilà un.

Et en plus si vous l'achetez, on vous offre la version originale avec, qui est, comme on s'en doutait, encore plus branlante que la finale. Pour peu que vous ayez l'esprit complétiste, il vous faudra donc le terminer deux fois, au moins. Que du bonheur.

The game's world is like Alien's, evil corporation, using monsters, etc
The gameplay is Gear's of War's.
The spec abilities are Mass Effect's
The armor is basically Dead Space's
The "plot twist" is F.E.A.R's or something, doesn't belong here
Also ends with a cliffhanger.
So, so many games to "borrow" ideas and mechanics from, and we end up an unoriginal, confusing mess of a game with bulletsponge enemies, supersticky walls, characters without personality and many other things.
Only good thing is art direction, but you can look up screenshots and/or videos of the game without subjecting yourself to the torture its gameplay it is.

Also, the AI is barely working in a game that is about a 4-man team - though surprisingly, by changing the difficulty to casual instead of normal made it work a lot better (them being less confused), along with teammates surviving more. Just for a taste: on normal the teammates couldn't do enough damage to enemies who can only be killed through headshots so they ended up being mowed down, being unable to res me or eachother. Only the "talkative, psychotic hefty man" (totally not a cliché, OC pleasedon'tcopy) Mass survived, who was standing inside a bunker 3 metres away from me, not trying to res anyone from the group, and was busy shooting at the empty walls because he forgot to turn of his wallhacks.
An unfun mess of a TPS. Go and play something better, Geart of War or I don't know.

ＳＦのＴＰＳシューターゲームです。
「バーン」と物陰に隠れて撃ったり、スキルを利用したり味方のカバーしたり、
ソロでも十分楽しめます。
日本語訳が変なストーリがあって、お約束的な要素がきちんとあるのでそれなりに楽しめます。

安いし悪くはないのでセールの時に買うのが良いと思います。

9 years ago I bought (Scourge Project EP. 1&2) and completed it, tonight I see in my Library (Scourge OutBreak)A relaunch of the original, I'm 5 almost 6 years late trying the new version.
I liked it in 2010 now its 2019 so I d/l , play and remember how much I liked this game,Its a nice looking game too.
I only played this in single player mode, Now I am replaying and checking out the new version.

No its not AAA but its simple Sci-Fi action shooter with good action and graphics you get 3 companions who will heal your ass if your wounded ha! , I like how they snuck out the new version (for Free) while I wasn't looking.

One of the soundtracks ripped off Halo. I miss Halo.

Seriously, though, don't bother with this. Almost nothing about it is remarkable, and nothing remarkable is good. Feels like an arcade game poorly ported to PC. Bad level design, entirely unremarkable weapon, enemy, character, or environmental design. Bland color scheme means most things blend into the background. It's old, so I'll forgive the dated sound and graphics, but I've heard far better voice acting from games of its period. The camera is wonky, the movement is inconsistent, and absolutely nothing made me want to continue playing.

I'd give it a 3/10, maybe a 4 if I was being very generous, since for the most part the pace was consistent.
