Графика норм в сравнении с другими играми японскими по типу этой, но опять упираемся в то, что ты бегаешь 90% времени в коробках закрытых (парковках, например, и т. д.) и просто мобиков пиздишь. I didn't hate my time with this game. Story is about 25ish hours long, and it was admittedly the wakest part of the adventure. Combat is fun and good paced with the brain stuff being actually fun to use. There's this "standby phase" between story chapters where you interact with you team similar to Persona which wasn't that bad to muck with.

Ultimately on sale its a great time waster if you're looking for fun combat and don't expect award winning story.

Много новелльных кат-сцен, немного геймплея и очень мало нормальных кат-сцен. Боевка в основном нормальная, только не хватает нормального парирования (а не рандомного от напарников). Бои с иными нормальные, но против людей не очень. Сюжет отличный, но как мне кажется в конце уж явная дыра ([spoiler]куда делся Карен, почему временная линия полностью его стерла[/spoiler]). На удивление две разные сюжетные линии, на самом деле разные.

I cannot recommend Scarlet Nexus, and it’s not because of gameplay or story — it’s because the game literally breaks and prevents you from progressing.

In Chapter 5 (Kasane route), I encountered a game-breaking bug where after defeating all enemies, the barrier wouldn’t disappear and the game still thinks you’re “in battle.” There are no enemies left, no indicators, nothing — just a soft lock that completely stops your progress.

And the worst part? This is not a rare issue.

Multiple players report the exact same bug: killing all enemies but the barrier “doesn’t go down”

Some players even had to restart entire sections or playthroughs because nothing fixed it

One workaround people suggested was literally using cheats to jump over the barrier — which says everything about how broken this is

I tried:

Reloading saves

Restarting the mission

Searching for hidden enemies

Nothing worked.

This isn’t just a minor glitch — it’s a progression-blocking bug in the main story, and for a story-driven game, that’s unacceptable.

It’s especially frustrating because the game actually has good ideas — stylish combat and interesting mechanics — but none of that matters when the game can randomly lock you out of continuing.

nothing here is worth 82% off the full price, and definitely nothing worth 70 bucks
the character that acts as a save point recommends you "patronize" his services, perhaps he means you should patronize this game with your wallet.

This game is really only for people who love JRPGs and anime tropes. It has all the typical characters: the couple, the smart kid, the childhood friend, the muscle guy, and the rest of the usual cast you see in these kinds of games.

The story is not very good. It keeps throwing random ideas at you: strange monsters that mostly look the same, corporations fighting for control, time travel, and even people living on the moon. But when you finally learn why the enemy is doing all of this… it's basically for one girl. That reveal felt pretty weak after everything the story tries to build up.

Besides the visual style, the combat system is what really carries the game. It’s fun and keeps things moving. Unfortunately, the enemies are very repetitive, and the locations start to feel the same after a while.

By the end, I had no interest in doing a second playthrough. One run was more than enough.

I would only recommend buying this on a discount, and mainly if you really enjoy JRPGs and anime-style storytelling. Otherwise, you might want to spend your money on another RPG.

Neutral review of this game because I didn't really like it.
A game with action-RPG elements, anime aesthetics, and, as far as I understand, it's similar to a novel.
+ New combat mechanics that include telekinesis
+ Multiple companions
+ Cool enemy mechanics and how they're designed
- You'll spend 80% of the battle on the floor, unless you're a master of dodging, which is challenging for me.
I recommend this game, but I suggest thinking twice before purchasing it.

Good design
Main story has unorthodox pacing and plot twists (sometimes it has interesting "break-of-expectation like"/anti-climatic )
(Might actually be even better with the Anime, like an opossite of the FFXV situation)
The worldbuilding and powers as a concept were pretty good, had potential
Good soundtrack, although can be lacking sometimes
The Game is very long, JRPG style long ( >~20 hours)

Gameplay is really below average if you're an ARPG player;
Very clunky, not fluid and not responsive. Very few combo options even when there are new combo/assault vision unlocked, a lot of camera issues, below indie ARPG quality, ARPG gachas are easily better than this "AAA game/price"
(Gameplay and Key configs seems to be different on console and joystick - I don't know about this one, but Im willing to test it later)

You have 2 routes: Yuito's and Kasane's. But you really should start with Yuito
Mobs and maps can be very repetitive(similar variations) altough with good or mid designs when first seen
Slideshow cutscenes to cut budget is really sad
Farming for materials was a grindy and even scarce. (Materials seem to spawn only per chapter/rest/standby phase/time)
Sidequests are generic and catalyze the grinding problem
Dialogues and Bond stories with the characters can be very bad and filler most times
(You should really ignore and skip side content and NPC talks - it's not Golden Sun quality on NPC talk)
Their Unreal Engine 4 can behave very badly with graphics sometimes
Skill tree and Equipment system is mediocre
Character(human NPCs) bosses amplifies the gameplay problem

Obs: You can really lose interest if you do not rush the main 3 chapters and focus too much on NPCs and sidequests

Thoughts:
Really good potential, and surprisingly good with the (main) story.

The studio might have put less money and people in this project while other projects were running, and might even have cut the budget even further when it was in too much development time, since it was a new project and name.

It seems like it was a really high risk and high budget that ended up being cut at the last cycle of development.

I respect them for taking that risk (we need more original titles and less remakes) but an ARPG that has a "locked" movement and slow response to commands is insane to me, makes me glad that Dmc, Dark Souls and other ARPG games put more money, soul and effort on the combat, frame by frame, as if its a fighting game like Street Fighter and Tekken.

They'd be better off by cutting all the action gameplay for budget reasons and put in a Turn Based one with QoE, if they were going to "all in" on the lore.

一坨的手感，把本身应该有的性能拆分到技能树上，包括空中闪避和立回，本人玩的困难不知道是不是难度的原因，开始的怪对我全部都是碰一下就倒地，至少3秒钟才能站起来，要是触电了更是可以拿起水杯喝一口了。反正还有很多膈应的地方总之就是这是一个非常糟糕的ACT游戏，还有什么各种视角问题之类的我觉得很多二次元ACT都有也就无所谓了。然后就是怪物设计，困难模式下反正前期基本特别多的飞行怪，虽说打飞行怪其实可以直接上硬直但是这个起飞过程也是特别的迷幻，有些时候怪的高度低可以直接追击到，否则就只有一个原地上踹的动作，而且本身地面的平A连招就很不连贯，空中好像只能连两三下，特别的便秘，然后最怕就是飞行怪给你来一群，每个都得单独打的时候特别的绝望。大战斗（为什么不说boss因为我也不好确定什么是boss）要是有机制杀还好，尤其点名批评一个实验室里的那个柱子，超大范围电场（别忘了触电倒地是没办法立回的哦），超多低空飞行远程单位加，，，，反正就是很逆天的机制，难以表述，绝对比你想象的折磨。最后就是弱智一样的地图设计，我一线性游戏，在你已经给保存点的时候，你给我绕一个大圈去开捷径是和一位啊，展示地图设计吗，你这路上也没什么值得那的东西啊。总之的总之，只要不喜欢剧情，这游戏就跟吃时没什么区别

When I first started Scarlet Nexus, I honestly had that feeling of

But after finishing [b]both routes[/b] and going for [b]100% completion[/b], I can say the game ended up being a really solid experience.

[h2]Story[/h2]

The biggest strength of the game is its [b]mystery-driven storytelling[/b]. During the first playthrough with Yuito, the game constantly throws questions at you:

[*]What’s Karen really planning?

That mystery kept pulling me forward through the story. The second route with Kasane flips the perspective and answers many of those questions, which is a really interesting narrative structure.

That said, I do think the story [b]missed some opportunities[/b].

For example, the person who shot Naomi with the bullet that turned her into an Other ends up being just an unnamed soldier. Moments like that feel like they could have been stronger if there had been a more defined villain or personal conflict.

Another thing that bothered me a bit was the classic [b]"we don’t have time to explain"[/b] trope that shows up a few times. Characters refuse to explain something important, then immediately start talking about something else. It sometimes feels like the game is trying a little too hard to keep things mysterious.

Personally, I also thought it would have been interesting if [b]Karen’s motivations were tied more directly to loving Alice[/b], instead of just grief and regret. That interpretation honestly made sense to me during my first playthrough.

[h2]Characters[/h2]

Between the two protagonists, [b]Yuito ended up being my favorite[/b].

Part of that is gameplay, but I also liked his overall attitude and personality more. Kasane is interesting as a character, but during Yuito’s route she can feel very stubborn and distant, which made her harder to like at first.

Once you see her perspective you understand her motivations more, but [b]Yuito still ended up being the character I preferred overall.[/b]

[h2]Combat[/h2]

The combat system is one of the most unique parts of the game.

The [b]SAS system[/b], where you borrow powers from teammates, makes fights very dynamic.

My favourite combination was stacking abilities like:

Using those together makes you feel incredibly powerful and lets you tear through enemies quickly.

Yuito’s combat style also felt [b]smoother[/b] to me than Kasane’s. His melee attacks felt easier to control and connect consistently, while Kasane’s range sometimes felt like it should hit enemies but didn’t quite reach them.

I went for [b]100% achievements[/b], which took around [b]67 hours[/b].

Most of the time investment came from:

The biggest issue here is [b]repetition[/b]. Playing the entire game twice can feel draining, especially when you're also managing bond events and gift farming.

Scarlet Nexus ended up being a game I enjoyed [b]much more than I expected[/b].

The world, characters, and mystery kept me engaged, and the combat system is genuinely fun.

Even after finishing it, I might come back later to play the [b]Karen story episodes[/b] once the burnout fades.

The game is decent, Its Not Good but its Not Bad
The games Combat gets VERY Repetitive after about 3hours in

The Story is all around the place and is probably the weakest part of the game in my opinion, So if you're looking for a good story you will not find it in this game.

You play as 1 of 2 Characters Yuito and Kasane both with different weapons Yuito use a Sword and Kasane using Flying Daggers.

Both character have different stories and will eventually cross paths with each other in game. So what you see from playing 1 character will be different from the other character till they joined up fully near the end of the game.

I started with Kasane 1st and after completing 1 playthrough with her i honestly did not want to play as Yuito for a 2nd playthrough not because i didn't like the character but the fact i just grew so bored of the combat after 1 playthrough.

The graphics of the game is probably the only thing Positive here and its not even that good.

If you're still are interested in getting the game I honestly recommend you get this game on Sale, This game is no where worth the Full Price its asking for.

Azjańskie dziwactwo, niby fajne a jednak takie nudnawe. Wizualnie bardzo fajne, muzyka była fajna tylko w tutorialu, taki dubstep. W trakcie normalnych misji ścieżka dźwiękowa trochę jak z retro pornoli.
Generalnie jest spoko ale walka jest nijaka, satysfakcja średnia i w ogóle. Warto gdzieś klucz z discountu tylko.

este juego es muy divertido, pero tiene problemas que son dificiles de ignorar
el hecho de que tenga dos campañas juega a favor y en contra a la vez, para empezar, ver el conflicto principal desde dos puntos de vista diferentes queda muy bien, pero tambien deja en evidencia que una campaña fue pensada y escrita primero y la segunda campaña tenia ideas claras, pero no fue pensada paralelamente a la primera, e hizo ingenieria inversa en muchos puntos de la historia para intentar que encaje, y no siempre funciona
si quieren jugar este juego, definitivamente deben jugar la campaña de yuito primero, y luego la de kasane

el sistema de vinculo con lso compañeros es interesante, pero cuando se te acumulan muchos eventos de vinculo al mismo tiempo, puedes pasar mas de una hora solo hablando con tus compañeros y si cuentas con poco tiempo para jugar, si se siente como que tus compañeros te tienen secuestrado y no te dejan irte a hacer la siguiente mision, porque esos vinculos son necesarios para poder usar apropiadamente los poderes de tus compañeros

fuera de estos dos problemas, el resto del jeugo es muy bueno, el combate es divertido, los enemigos bastante variados obligandote a usar mas de un poder contantemente, y los jefes tienen diseños muy unicos, mezclando pinturas, obejtos, plantas, y demas cosas, es como luchar contra una pintura abstracta

lo recomiendo, pero entrenle con precaucion, porque las 50 horas que dura, si se sienten pesadas

Scarlet Nexus: Красивая обертка, внутри - духота

Начинается всё максимально бодро. Стильный "брейнпанк", вылизанный UI, сочный визуал на UE4 и боевка, от которой поначалу кайфуешь. Весь геймплейный цикл стандартный для ARPG старой школы: бежим по "кишкам" из точки А в точку Б, зачищаем арены, смотрим пафосную катсцену и идем в хаб пить чай с сопартийцами, попутно качая "социалку" в духе бюджетной Persona.

Первые часов 10 игра реально держит темп. Ты комбинируешь телекинез с атаками, жонглируешь способностями пати, и это работает. Но потом проект совершает "прыжок веры" прямо в бездну уныния. Сюжет, который подавал надежды на крепкую фантастику, мутирует в невнятный сценарный понос и графоманию. Логика персонажей выходит покурить, а ты просто сидишь и жмешь "пропустить" на очередном диалоге о "силе дружбы" и судьбах мира.

К середине игры геймдизайн окончательно ломается. Боевка из фанового экшена превращается в рутину: ты просто ковыряешь жирных мобов-губок на аренах, у которых здоровья больше, чем смысла в местном сценарии. Последние главы - это вообще чистая пытка и дистиллированная духота. Вместо эпичного финала получаешь затянутый марафон по одинаковым коридорам с одной мыслью в голове: "Господи, когда это уже кончится?".

Когда пошли титры, я почувствовал не катарсис, а облегчение. Scarlet Nexus - это стильная пустышка. Посмотреть на арт-дизайн можно на YouTube, тратить на это 30+ часов жизни - категорически не рекомендую.

After playing this game for 11 hours, i finally understand why people complain about the storytelling. I really love the combat and characters design (kasane is mine, btw), but the storytelling is just a bunch of dragging you around with "oh, i understand. You..." and then they fight. Like, wtf? Finish what you said first, and then fight. It would be better if they finish what they said after the fight, but nope. Either they end up dead after the fight, or they just never bring it up anymore. This game has tons of potential, but they just threw away the most important aspect of rpg games, the story itself. I would recommend this game if you're "rent a girlfriend" watcher. I mean, you guys are used to getting dragged around with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story, right? I would also recommend this game if you're looking for a rpg game with good combat. But if you're looking for a good story, you're looking at the wrong place

Две сюжетные линии по одной истории, только идете разными путями. Юито и Касанэ - главные протагонисты, где первый - на вес золота (из-за чего поставил "рекомендую"), а вторая - ощущается как
раздутое длс. Сам сюжет средний, на одно прохождение потянет. За Касанэ он подается прямо, постепенно, при этом затрагивает её личную историю в ходе сюжетного таймлайна и глубже раскрывает мотивы главного антагониста. Но дело в том, что я проходил её уже после Юито и не могу сказать, какое впечатление подарит игра, если начать знакомится с этим миром через Касанэ. У главного героя тоже есть свои проблемы, но они куда интереснее и эмоционально насыщенны. И отдельный плюс для сюжета, если выбрать для первого прохождения Юито, то подача истории будет в духе Алана Вейка, кто знает, тот знает, в то время за Касанэ (к тому же если это НГ+) всё становится сильно банальным и неинтересным, особенно когда знаешь, чем всё закончится. К тому же, сюжетные ветки даже второго главного героя (кем бы вы не начали играть) озвучат при первом прохождении, поэтому и интриги никакой нет.
Насчет персонажей: складывается впечатление, что в них недостаточно глубины, ни в дизайне, ни в их собственной истории. Да, вы к ним привыкнете, запомните как кого зовут (несмотря на безвкусное сочетания имен и фамилий), даже симпатию начнете к ним испытывать. Я могу выделить лишь Юито, потому что сюжет каждый раз подкидывает ему столько сложных испытаний, что сопереживать волей неволей да начнешь, несмотря на то, что это типичный гг практически всех сенненов, так как он слишком добрый и правильный (даже сопартийцы ему говорят, что это уже перебор), но начав играть за Касанэ, он может открыться с другой стороны (из разряда, а что если... и почему тогда он станет таким (но это уже спойлер)); второй персонаж - это Гемма, просто потому что в его истории поднимается интересная тема, которую нечасто и встретишь, и по характеру он тот спокойный мужик, с которым и выпить можно).
Отдельно стоит выделить улучшение отношений с сопартийцами. Представьте себе самую меркантильную женщину на свете, у которой слово жадность вместо сердца. Так вот, это механика полностью если не убивает игру, то очень хочет. По сюжету у вас есть тайная база, где между миссиями будет фаза отдыха, так вот, если бы все подарки были поштучно отмоделированы в этой игре, то вам одной базы не хватит, так как в ней будет лежать по 130 дронов, примерно 100 ракеток для сквоша, куча цветов в горшках, а между ними будет бездонное количество магических шаров, бутылок алкоголя и гантель, а стены все были бы увешаны постерами одного неизвестного бодибилдера (вспоминайте корабль, забитый картошкой из Старфилда). Если серьезно, то это просто ад, который нацелен растянуть игру на сотни часов, потому что по основному сюжету можно относительно быстро пробежаться (даже есть спидранерские достижения внутри игры). Чтобы поднять уровень с 5 на 6 может потребоваться 60-70 (не самых) любимых подарков. Но как их получить? Гринд. ГРИНД!!! ГРИИИИНД!!! Два типа ресурса в игре: расходники от всякой нечисти, что также градируется по редкости и выпадение рандомное (хотя если внимательно играть, можно понять как выбивать редкие почти 100%), монстры спавнятся при смене карты, так что вроде бы можно и нагриндить, если упереться? НЕТ. Так как второй тип ресурсов - это "фрагменты" локации, на определенных местах находятся определенные типы редкости (А,В,С,S), но они спавнятся через полчаса реального времени, что увеличит время собирательства на очередной подарок, которого 90% будет недостаточно. ВЫХОД ЕСТЬ, гриндите не одну локацию, а несколько подряд. +разработчики дали поблажку, о которой я не знал при первом прохождении: всегда в меню персонажа были слоты для баффов различных характеристик, так там есть как раз 2 улучшения, которые ускоряют вашу дружбу. 2 способа улучшать взаимоотношения: бои (чаще использовать способности товарищей и чаще их переставлять в слот отряда, т.к. 1-2 будут сидеть в запасе) ну и сами подарки. Но самое веселое, у Юито и Касанэ свои компаньоны (что логично), но потом они все объединятся, ну а тут сами должны понимать, чем это чревато.
Так как много гринда, и основной путь сюжета один, то локации вы запомните наизусть и очень быстро. Сами по себе они никакие: не плохие и не хорошие. Количество мест просто мало, а реюз беспощадный.
В финале истории вас еще ждет 2-3 данжа, и предпоследний настолько унылый и некрасивый, скучный и безыдейный, что только сюжет за Юито и спасал. А теперь представьте, когда вы пройдете через этот ад гринда в первый раз, а потом вас ждет и второй)
НГ+ дает вам не тот уровень, с которым вы закончили первое прохождение, а 60 (это обидно, если вы прокачались до этого выше), связи с чем игра пробегается быстрее, но не так как хотелось бы. Также что может заставлять пройти вторую сюжетную кампанию, так это ачивки в стим. Получить их несложно, их нужно только нагриндить.
Единственное что можно отнести к плюсам двух компаний, так это внимание к деталям. (В самом начале игры вашу команду с Юито и Касанэ будут телепортировать, сначала её, потом его, так это учли и короткая сама по себе анимированная кат-сцена это показывает в разных кампаниях, и таких приятных мелочей не мало).
Из неприятных мелочей, малое количество эмоций у неигровых персонажей, когда на фоне агрессивный спор с отображенной соответствующей мимикой, а 3д моделька головы в окне диалога нейтральная.
БОИ: несложные, чтобы это понять просто отойдите от противника понаблюдайте за его мувсетами и сразу станет всё предельно понятно (заодно покекайте с ваших напарников). Видов противников кажется, что достаточно, но к концу сюжетного прохождения, гринда и НГ+, складывается мнение, что как будто бы и мало. Если часто умираете, просто понаблюдайте за вашим енеми со расстояния, и тогда вы поймете, что в игре нет ничего сложного.
ПЛЮШКИ: изучайте игру, тогда вы найдете много разных бонусов, что облегчат игру (заскочите в Мусуби, поизучайте снаряжение как минимум).
ИТОГ: по скидке покупайте; если вам плевать на ачивки и второстепенные активности, тоже берите. Если же вы сторонники выбить платину, то придется страдать не от сложности, а от бесконечного гринда.
и НАСТОЯТЕЛЬНО РЕКОМЕНДУЮ ПРОЙТИ ИГРУ ЗА ЮИТО, оно того стоит

Good Game that reminds me a lot of Tales of Games, but is its own thing.

It looks absolutely cool and the artstyle is polished. Great music adds to the atmosphere of a good story, that gets a bit ridiculous from time to time, but that's fun. Character developement is cheesy jrpg style and all those bonds episodes get boring after a while, but you are by no means forced to do them.

The combat is fast paced, fun at first, but gets repetitive after a while. There are not that many different enemy-tyes and I got the feeling of dmg-sponges near the end. Sometimes it's really punishing to get hit, because you get kinda stunlocked and just die. But that's on you, you need to dodge here.

Now after beating the game with Yuito I can't wait to see the story unfold from Kasane's perspective, so it definitely got me hooked.

Important: My review is more a neutral one than a negative one but since Steam does not allow that... Definitely depending on your taste and price of purchase it could be a good buy for you.

Since I believe I really liked Tales of Arise years ago, I was looking for something similar and found comments suggesting this one.

The game played very fine with Proton, 120FPS no problem (matching my Hz), I don't think I needed to do anything particular.

The combat part of the game is well done and enjoyable. I do have lore issues with SAS but it's not very important so I won't go into that.

I really enjoyed the story, enough that I played the game back to back with both protagonists even though I didn't enjoy the game that much (more on that later). I just wanted to know more! The cast is pretty nice, even if the protagonists themselves aren't that much (the guy is the usual nice guy, and the girl is the smart but rude one, neither that fun to watch).

The Japanese VAs are great!

Some things don't really make sense, like how we have shops everywhere we go, how those shops spontaneously get better stuff to sell as time goes on, how linear the levels of the monsters are compared to us and every time we return to a zone the monsters still match us... (yes it is common in games, that's why Xenoblade having like lvl 60+ monsters that can one shoot you in beginning areas but won't cause they don't care was so refreshing). I think the monsters look weird and the explanation is lacking... Yes I keep saying monsters instead of 'Others' so that people that didn't play have a clue what I'm talking about. For those that did play, one thing that made no sense is how Kyoka's jacket strap survived the whole game, that thing couldn't have been built for what it was suppose to hold!

My biggest gripe really is how it's the same monsters over and over again, and how they keep showing up in places they don't really need to just to slow down everything, it's just a drag. Some you can skip, others you have to defeat or the barriers that lock you in won't go (but there is no explanation for why such barrier is linked to the monsters appearing...). With the lore being vast enough I feel like we could have been fighting more than just these monsters and the useless IDF guys (at least give them tanks or something to make them kind of scary...), yes yes there is more than just the monsters but not enough in my opinion. In the guy's playthrough we also have to redo the same locations over and over so much... it's like they couldn't finish the game properly and just reused the same stuff...

Lore wise, we're supposed to have 2 regiments of soldiers with plenty of companies, but we hardly see anyone else but the leaders and the ones we play... that makes little sense. I find that the protagonists are forced as the heroes/leaders, where I don't get the sense that they are. Yes they have specific powers, but I didn't feel like the veterans really needed to look up to them or anything like that. Some of the cast we don't control we hardly see and there is no good explanation on why that is the case.

I am not into gifting stuff to increase bonding, it felt like a major waste of time, and the audio clearly did not match the subtitles! The actual bonding episodes are fine though but to get there you first have to increase bonding... ugh!

I'll quickly talk about the Brain Eater DLC as well here:

The story it adds is a must to watch if you care about the game's story! I don't really like how it's not included in the base game actually, but since it's not from the point of view of the protagonists but of Karen (why is a male called Karen?) maybe that's less bad...

But to access the 3rd and 4th parts of the story you have to win against a lvl 99... Even after my 2nd playthrough as NG+ I was in the 60s, and there was no way I was going to grind using simulated fights to get there... so I sort of cheated by using the you-can't-die plugin and went at the fight, I mean grind, for almost 20 minutes... It's not like the fight was really exciting or that interesting since it's also in the simulator instead of being in the proper world... but not a great way to access more story content...

Since the stories are 4 non-playable parts, I say watch the videos online and skip buying the DLC, you won't miss anything.

I was heavy into the first 5 hours. Then I kind of lost interest...The story is good from what I've seen so far, I just personally didn't find it challenging enough without turning the difficulty to max... 爽快二次元风念力战斗！但是万代也留下不少小巧思:组合技视觉影像消耗大伤害低意义不明，支线任务无剧情还要玩家用这些幽默技能杀怪，还给的可有可无时尚小垃圾建议别恶心自己；索敌一坨和SAS键位重合突然转火，没触发追击平a重击经常空（点名女主远程攻击被这毁完了）；脑内空间没点出无敌前拉完了，攻击前摇长被打的生活不能自理，经典本来乱杀开脑内空间暴毙：后期怪和地图素材复用严重，满地改名换皮怪，推羁绊剧情就反复回那几张老地图打实在绷不住。建议开局别自限直接装上DLC给的双倍经验饰品，点出最大念力量表和可同时使用4个SAS才有游戏体验。只玩一周目建议先玩女主线，打算冲全成就打两个周目可以先打男主线。
虽然吐槽了很多缺点，但是最后的剧情演出还是不错的，而且女主，岗，花火真的很可爱，个人评分6.5/10

One of my favorite games so much so that I picked up Code Vein trying to scratch the itch (Scarlet Nexus is better).

You have to beat the game twice (choose male protagonist and again with female protagonist) in order to get the full story. Beware of reviews with a low hour count because they absolutely did not finish it twice, if even once.

Of all the games I played, this is among the top for wanting a sequel. I'm actually posting this review now because I was checking the update feed for news on a sequel (still none, sad).

One of my favorite combat systems in action rpgs. Very, very fun gameplay loop. Wish the difficultly was a little bit more and the story leaves a little to be desired. But i always recommend this to my friends that like the genre. A true hidden gem. A sequel would be sick.

Also a little on the short side for a full length game as well. But yea this ones a banger, forsure grab it if its one sale and youre interested in the genre. Movement is top notch and in the genre i only have nier above it as far as combat goes

Сюжет типичная аниме пресность. В целом идея интересная, но реализация и повествование ну прям жижа. Логической связки между событиями пожалели.

Боёвка сама по себе боёвка хорошая. Комбо, абилки, которые действительно применяются в файтах (типа того же инвиза у врагов, постепенного урона, быстрого сближения через ТП и т.д.). В дополнение, абилки прокачиваются от уровня развития отношения с персонажем, к которому абилка и принадлежит. Телекинез ГГ играется отлично. Механики с перехватом или использованием тяжёлых объектов с дальнейшим взаимодействием с клавишами, а не с пустой анимацией, мне тоже понравились. Плюс сюда же добивания и несколько бафф состояний, которые копятся по мере сражений, как пассивных, так и активных. К тому же, отлично сочетается с прокачкой через древо навыков. Например, изучив определённый навык, можно одновременно объединять сразу несколько абилок. Короче говоря, импакта от боёвки много, мне прям понравилось. Но вот боссы дресня лютая. В основном мешки для битья либо максимально упёртые, несбалансированные. Боссы очень сильно подпортили впечатление, прям минус вайбик.

Персонажи аниме пустышки, сказать больше нечего. Максимально шаблонный ГГ, вообще симпатии к нему не имею. Логики, одушевлённости в них нет, прям разочарование. Практически никто не запомнился.

Короче, игра прям люто на любителей. Если сравнивать, наверное, как сюрстрёмминг, типа она отвратительно попахивает, но и на такое есть любители.

nul à chier ce jeu complètement fini à la pisse. Sa aurait pu être un bon JRPG mais il y a un truc qui fait tout foiré dans le jeu c'est la boutique. C'est simple dans ce jeu la boutique te vole comme si c'était normal aberrant. J'avais plus de gelée qui me redonnait 30% de mes pv ben j'en rachète à la boutique sa me prends mes sous sa me dit achat effectuer. Je vais dans mon inventaire ben les sous je les ai plus mais la gelée je la cherche encore. J'en avais pris 10 ben sa m'a pris les 1000 crédits mais sa ma rien donner en échange aberrant. Dommage que e dois faire le jeu avec 0 objet de heal sa gâche tout le plaisir du jeu. Je vais me faire fumer par des ennemis vu que c'est un jeu de type souls et je vais vouloir me heal ben je pourrai pas donc je dois passer mon temps à crever comme une merde à cause des devs qui sont pas fichu de te faire une boutique en ordre sans qu'elle te vole aberrant. Donc oui juste à cause de sa je le recommande pas ce jeu mal grès que l'histoire est pas mal l'univers aussi et le système de combat aussi mais vu que je dois faire le jeu avec 0 objet de heal. Donc je vois pas comment je vais faire pour prendre du plaisir vu que je pourrai jamais avancer normalement à cause que je me prends 3 coups et je suis mort donc ouah super amusant si au moins je pouvais avoir du heal la oui je recommanderai ce jeu mais vu que lka boutique te prends tes sous mais te donne pas ce que tu as achet je peux pas le recommander dans des conditions pareilles.

Sou suspeito a falar desse jogo. Conheci no gamepass e zerei no Xbox Series S. Depois platinei no PS5 e estou novamente rumo ao 100% no PC.

Se você gosta de jogos estilo anime, com personagens cativantes, uma história profunda, além de uma boa trilha sonora com rock futurista e eletrizante, eletrônica e um jazz, alinhada a um ótimo gameplay, dê uma chance a esse jogo!

Uma coisa muito legal também é a mecânica em que você pode fortalecer suas amizades, dar presentes, sair com seus amigos, conhecer seus dilemas e escutar suas reflexões... são momentos mais tranquilos, mas que se você estiver totalmente entregue ao jogo, vai se sentir parte do grupo.

Sim, esse jogo tem seus defeitos como qualquer outro. A história muitas vezes é contada com cenas estáticas parecendo quadrinhos, e poderia ter opções de romance (tem só algumas coisas com dupla intenção mas que acabam de forma muito sutil), e o jogo é bem repetitivo em certas partes, mas pra mim são coisas que da pra relevar, principalmente por ser uma IP nova, com um possível segundo jogo podendo melhorar tudo isso.

Por fim, o jogo tem mais acertos do que erros, e tem muita originalidade, o que prezo muito em uma obra. É sem duvidas um dos meus jogos favoritos de todos os tempos nesse estilo, e espero muito que tenha um Scarlet Nexus 2!

战斗方面：战斗系统优秀，打击手感好，队友集结后各种技能切换爽到不行，可惜怪物后期同质化严重，而且关卡后期基本上就是一路杀过去，再爽的体验打上几小时也会无聊的；
剧情方面：只打一条线可能会给出不合格，两条线都打就是及格，把DLC剧情打完和队友好感剧情打完那就是经典自动和解，已原谅了一切，剧情达到优秀评价；
家园方面：送礼系统设计的非常好，看着队友拿着你送的礼物一步一步装饰起空荡荡的基地，到最后基地被礼物填满的样子真的很有成就感，至于跟队员的好感度剧情，那是用来补全队友人设的，本来不错，可惜这些好感度剧情代入主线的时间有些不合时宜，有点小破坏氛围感。
推荐只想打一周目的先打女主线，想打二周目的就先打男主线，要是二周目都打了，那DLC剧情那就不能错过了：）

I've played through the story with Yuito, and I have to say it was a pretty good experience. Is it a perfect 10/10 game? No, but I think that's okay, not every game needs to be perfect, it just needs to be fun... And I had lots of fun playing this game. I will definitely come back and play Kasane's story too.
Very underrated game. Solid 7.5/10, highly recommend it to anime lovers.

[h1]一个把好牌打烂的故事[/h1]

[h2]（本篇强剧透注意）[/h2]

2021年，笔者预购了《绯红结系》。

说出来有点丢人。万代把"脑朋克"两个字往宣传里一塞，笔者就跟着动心了。脑科学统治社会、人类大脑被国家当资源收割、双主角交叉叙事，这些词随便拎出哪个都够期待半天。

然后我通关了，有种说不清的空白，相当没劲。

几年后，笔者试着跟朋友聊这个游戏，发现自己说来说去只剩一堆词，岐之门、红线、轮回、双线路线等等等等。每个词我都能解释是什么意思，但要说哪个场景让我印象深刻时却发现脑子里一片空白。

[h2]脑朋克的皮，少年漫的骨[/h2]
光看设定的话，《绯红结系》的剧情其实很日式科幻。以“脑”为核心的高科技社会、一个用脑科学统治民众的新日向政权、被当成资源和武器的人类大脑、来自月球的殖民历史。甚至还有穿越时间的红线、无数次轮回的悲情反派和注定要拯救世界的双主角。如果把这些关键词拆开并单拎出任何一个的话都足够支撑一部科幻作品。然而它们被一个更擅长写王道热血而不是严肃科幻的编剧强行塞进同一条主线，结果是光有宏大架子但细节是缺失的、动机靠设定硬推的模板人物，还有靠几十分钟的讲解塞给玩家的世界观。而真正该落在角色身上的刻画却被时间旅行和友情·羁绊·相信彼此一遍遍稀释掉。

游戏最直观的错位在于类型和调性上。制作方在宣传中不断强调这是脑朋克（Brain Punk），强调“以脑为中心的文明”和“脑驱动”的视觉，把“增幅经”、“SAS连线”、“视野审查”这些专有概念抛给玩家。这些要素让人以为会看到一部探索意识操控、信息过滤对社会和个体影响的反乌托邦作品。但真正进入主线后你会发现这游戏其实是非常典型的王道少年漫结构，包括但不限于出生看上去平凡但有不凡血统的少年主角、一队各有属性标签的队友、一个看似光鲜实则腐烂的体制、一个其实不坏的反派大叔。故事往往通过战斗→升级→更强敌人→更大阴谋的节奏往前推，关键时刻靠喊话、靠相信同伴来突破难关。事实上这两套表达方式并非天生矛盾，但问题在于本作既想维持少年向的热血励志，又不肯放弃严肃话题，于是没有哪一边真正写得深入。制作组想写政府阴谋却只流于“你们不过是被利用的大脑”、“上层为了维护统治什么都做得出”这类非常概括的口号式批判。同样地，角色对体制的反抗落点也往往是“不能再让他们利用大家的大脑了”和“世界要改变”。你几乎看不到对改变之后怎么办的具体思考。本作里大部分反乌托邦元素都只是背景板，从而让主线在形式上好像很沉重，以及衬托出一群“正义少年”的选择，实则价值观和思考深度都相当保守、安全。

然后来说说双主角结构，笔者认为这设计是严重拖累了剧情的。表面上让结人皇和重兰德尔各自作为主角体验一条路线是希望玩家能从两个阵营、两种性格出发去看到同一事件的不同侧面，同时利用信息差制造悬念并在中后期进行收束。这样既增加耐玩度又可以丰富叙事层次，但这套结构几乎把本作所有问题都暴露出来。前期故事内容确实会因为你选男女主而有差别，但中后期大量章节实际上是两条线重复经历几乎相同的任务，玩家在男主线走过一遍的据点、防线、作战会再在女主线重新刷一遍，得到的信息并没有因为视角不同而真正发生质变。你很少看到同一件事在A视角看是这样，在B视角却暴露出完全不同的真相的这种叙事乐趣，更多只是从左边看一次，又从右边看一次。节奏相当拖沓

比起重复更让笔者感到难以接受的是这部作品推进剧情的写法。为了让双主角站到对立面而故意让关键角色闭嘴、不解释。用诸如“我必须杀了他”及“你只要相信我就行”这种台词硬凹剧情。重线中，“未来的情报告诉我必须杀了结人才能关闭岐之门，拯救世界”本来可以展开成一条非常复杂的伦理冲突线。她到底看见了什么？在多少次轮回中失败？她是否反复挣扎过是否要牺牲一个人去救全世界？她如何面对队友们的质疑？但你在游戏中能看到的却是一遍遍重复的简单对话。重冷着脸说我要杀了你；队友问一句为什么，她回答我不能说；在场几乎所有人都选择了“那她肯定有自己的理由”的懒惰信任。男主线这边，结人面对父亲被暗杀、最大嫌疑人是重的情况，也只用“我不相信是你干的，但你为什么要杀我”这种极其反智的台词来应对。最后两人因为彼此长得像小时候的救命恩人就可以在打一架之后互相原谅，接着约喝咖啡、跑羁绊章节。这种完全服务于剧情需要的误会话术，与角色此前的经历和性格都严重脱节，给人的感觉不是他们在故事环境下自然做出的选择，而是编剧把他们按在剧本上，强行拧成对立面。

当关键冲突建立在这种“因为不说清楚所以打起来”的基础上时，双主角本应带来的张力也被消磨殆尽。理论上结人和重可以在家族身份、对体制的接受程度以及面对真相时的反应上形成有趣的对照。这俩主角一个是象征新日向正统的皇家之子，一个是被兰德尔家养成兵器工具的养女，她们对维护秩序和维护个体理应有不同理解。但在本作里两个人的成长轨迹却是高度趋同，都是从单纯、相信组织和珍惜伙伴的少年少女，走向看见真相后“我也要保护大家”和“我要选择自己的道路”的标准的少年漫弧线。双线最终并没有形成两种不同的世界观，只是从两个角落讲完同一种价值观，最后再合流。结构上看似宏大，内容上却异常贫乏。

[h2]人物塑造层面的短板[/h2]
人物塑造层面的短板，几乎是所有批评《绯红结系》剧情的人都会提到的部分。这个游戏里确实有很多角色，外形设计也足够鲜明，人人都有一套能力、一串设定标签和几段羁绊对话，但真正能让人记住这个人会这样说话，或者觉得这事发生在他身上很合理的却少之又少。笔者认为很大一部分原因在于编剧在动机和性格塑造上严重依赖设定和一次性闪回。某个角色被设定为姐控，那他所有行为几乎都围着姐姐打转，但在这人物身上你找不到细节去支撑这种执着；某位冷面队长被贴上“天才”和“严谨”的标签，于是他全程只会用一副冷静语气说出正确立场就算立住了人设，偶尔在羁绊剧情里展露一点温柔便是反差萌。更令人难受的在于当这些人卷入主线的阴谋和灾难时，他们大多数的选择都是被剧情推着往前走。当他们接受某个真相、加入某一阵营、愿意背叛或者牺牲时给与笔者的感觉仿佛是“终于轮到这个人发挥作用了”，而非他/她在自己的成长脉络上自然做出的抉择。

这直接导致角色台词高度可换。删掉名字，你很难分辨“我要保护队友”、“我相信你不会那样做”、“我们一起改变这个世界吧”具体是谁说的，因为这些话与说话者的具体经历几乎没有关系，它们只是代表着当下段落需要的立Flag和回应对话的功能性句子。死亡和牺牲更是被处理得极其工具化。某角色挡下射击被怪异化，理论上可以成为质问体制的一个元素，可以探讨一个还保持自我意识的怪异，在被当成战斗工具和研究材料的过程中如何看待自己的存在？如何在“杀死怪物”和“拯救妹妹”之间挣扎？但游戏更多是利用她的状态去推动“人类被当作资源”的设定，而她本人的痛苦和挣扎被压缩成几场战斗和少数对话。爱丽斯与卡连的故事更是退回到非常老套的“爱人死去→男人轮回无数次想改变命运”的单线叙事：玩家对爱丽斯的印象几乎全部来自几段闪回 CG 和卡连口中的回忆，等到 DLC稍微多补了一点，但她这个人本身仍然只是卡连悲剧的道具。

[h2]主线与支线的割裂[/h2]
更讽刺的是，这个作品在数量上塞进了大量羁绊章节，仿佛很重视人物刻画但实际上却在情绪基调上把主线和支线割裂成了两部完全不同的作品。一边是政变、暗杀、城市被怪异攻陷，主角们刚经历完“队友试图杀自己父亲”及“某人黑化叛逃”这样严重事件，回到据点却立刻弹出“去咖啡厅聊天”和“送礼物加好感度”的支线提示。某个角色在主线剧情里前一章还以杀为先，下一章羁绊剧情中又可以若无其事地聊恋爱、聊兴趣、聊童年创伤等话题，仿佛那些极端行为只是游戏设定而不是实际经历过的生离死别。游戏系统要求玩家跑羁绊提高SAS效果，于是制作组不得不把所有好玩的小日常都揉进来，却完全不顾这些小日常和主线时间线和心理状态是否对得上。结果就是单看羁绊章节的话其实不差，甚至有人会觉得这才是本作真正好看的地方。但一旦放回整条故事，你会感觉这帮人只有在赶主线的时候才记得世界快毁灭了。一旦回到据点他们就会立刻变身轻松团综嘉宾。长此以往玩家对角色的情绪认同被彻底稀释，很难再把他们当作有血有肉的人，只会把他们当作战斗系统的挂件和养成对象。

[h2]彻底的叙事结构失衡[/h2]
如果说角色和情感部分的问题还可以用王道味太重来一言蔽之，那么时间旅行与红线系统的问题则属于彻底的叙事结构失衡。游戏后半段几乎把所有未解之谜都丢给了红线、时间线纠缠、未来世界末日等设定，结人童年的救命之恩、重被丢到未来看到世界毁灭的景象以及卡连一次次轮回的失败、岐之门的开合机制都绑在这条线索上。在某种意义上这是制作组试图用一套高概念来统一全作，但他们既没有能力用严谨的规则把这套时间体系讲清楚，也没有勇气干脆放弃解释，专心刻画情绪。最后只能陷在解释到让人头大，却又解释不明白的尴尬局面中。

时间旅行一旦没有被严密设计，很容易演变成万能补丁。当故事发展到死胡同时，只要补一句“其实这条时间线之前已经被改动过很多次，这是残留的结果”，就好像什么逻辑漏洞都能被掩盖。本作就是典型例子，为什么某些事件发生得如此巧合？因为某人从未来回来调整过。为什么有人掌握别人不知道的情报？因为他经历过N次轮回。为什么末日威胁一定会在某个节点爆发？因为这是经过无数次尝试之后仍然无法更改的修正力结果。这些说法在技术层面可以讨论，但游戏里在没有充分铺垫和推演的情况下被当成结论抛出来。尤其在“必须杀死结人才可以关闭岐之门”这个桥段上，你可以看到简直时赤裸裸地服务于“让女主持刀指向男主”这一戏剧性画面。设定上给出的理由是高度工具化的，几乎不给角色其他选择。然后剧情又通过某种方式让结人没有真正死成，但世界照样得救，这让此前所有“别无选择”、“必须牺牲他”变得极其可笑。

设定不严谨还反过来摧毁了故事中本应最有力量的部分，也就是牺牲和悔恨。当卡连被设定为为了救爱丽斯不断回到过去、最终几乎被修正力抹去存在的悲情人物时，玩家并没有机会真正跟着他一起经历那些轮回的崩溃，只能通过寥寥数句旁白和支线补完去脑补那些过程。他对世界的怨、对自我的厌弃、对爱丽斯的执着到底在哪个节点发生了质变编剧都没有写，只给了一个结果（他已经疯了，他的世界只剩下她）。在一个时间旅行设定被当作解释一切、掩盖一切的作品里，这样的角色注定难以被当作真正复杂的人，也能是那个很惨的轮回反派大叔，仅此而已。

[h2]朦胧的乐观[/h2]
政治阴谋与伦理抉择本是《绯红结系》最值得发力的部分。新日向通过药剂压制脑成长、通过视野审查过滤现实、通过秘密实验把人类变成怪异。这些设定拼在一起足以构成一部反乌托邦故事。但剧情在处理这些内容时，几乎总是选择最简单粗暴的方式。政府高层就是一群不择手段的坏人、抵抗方虽然手段极端但内心并不坏、主角小队则是纯净的道德坐标。只要他们一路战斗到最后就可以揭露真相，世界就会自然而然迎来改变。至于真相公布后，长期在审查下生活的民众会不会崩溃，会不会有人选择继续相信旧体制，世界是否有能力吸收这样剧烈的信息冲击，游戏没有兴趣回答。主角们在最后章里喊出诸如“我们会改变这个世界”和“不能再有这样的实验”的台词，然后镜头一拉远，红色的天空、关闭的岐之门暗示着新时代的开始。一切都在“未来会更好”的朦胧乐观中收尾。

卡连这个角色在政治与伦理层面原本可以承担起幕后boss的位置，他既看透了体制的残酷，又不再相信慢慢改变的可能，于是选择一条用极端方式夺回自己要的东西的路。一个为了一个人的生命，愿意牺牲无数世界的人理应在故事中引发大量思辨对话，他会怎样回答“你凭什么决定别人死活”？他如何面对那些因自己的轮回而受苦的人？他有没有在某一刻意识到自己只是以爱的名义行使独裁？但游戏始终不敢让他真的变成一个难以原谅的恶人，把他包裹在执着和悲剧的滤镜中，让他所有的极端行为都被解释为爱得太深和承受了太多痛苦。最后为了保证王道收尾必须以自我牺牲的方式退场，成为用自己的消失换来世界的平衡的英雄式反派。玩家被安排好应该为他难过、为他流泪，却没有机会认真厌恶他、质疑他、与他对抗。

[h2]无处不在的割裂感[/h2]
本作的叙事节奏和演出方式方面的割裂则把上述所有问题放大到了整个游玩过程。战斗部分高强度、爽快、运镜华丽；剧情部分则大量依赖静态立绘配对话框，以及“PPT漫画式”的过场，去承担庞大世界观解释和情报汇报的任务。每当玩家打完一场紧张刺激的 Boss 战，接下来往往就是十几分钟甚至更长时间的说明会。所有设定都通过角色的嘴一次性交底，缺乏足够的悬疑铺垫和视觉化呈现。你几乎可以把它当成读设定集，只不过这个设定集被拆成一个个对话框并夹杂在战斗之间。这种演出方式既拖慢节奏，也降低了信息的可消化程度。玩家刚刚记住几个名词后立刻又被扔进新一轮任务，别说体会这些设定对角色命运意味着什么，连记住这些特有名词也有困难。

角色的情绪曲线同样因为这种剪辑而变得极不连贯。某一章刚刚揭露了重大家族秘密，主角的父亲被暗杀、同伴叛逃，照理说队伍中每个人都需要时间消化、争吵、重建信任。但游戏很快就让他们进入下一次任务，把上一章的大事件当成了事不关己的东西。角色在某一场戏里刚刚经历至亲死亡、世界观崩塌，下一场战斗中又用和之前完全相同的语气喊出战斗口号，好像什么都没有发生似的。笔者在意的是角色们经历了什么，而角色在剧本中被要求表现出的只是知道发生了什么，两者之间缺少必要的消化和沉淀。这种处理方式让整个故事看起来像是一连串拼接起来的事件串，而不是一群人在同一个世界里不断改变的生活。

[h2]复杂的平庸[/h2]
回过头去看，《绯红结系》的剧情问题其实可以做个简单的归纳。它用复杂设定代替了复杂人物和主题；用花哨结构（双主角、多时间线）掩盖价值观上的保守和平庸。新日向、月球、人类脑进化等这些本该组成一幅宏大而尖锐的政治寓言图景，最终却变成了极度套路化的坏政府被善良少年推翻的成长故事。时间旅行、红线、轮回等本可以深挖命运与意志、个人执着与集体存亡之间的拉扯却被收束在“为爱轮回”以及“用生命弥补错误”这种极其熟悉的日式悲情套路之中。本可以撑起群像剧的大量配角最终沦为支线小剧场和战斗系统的附庸。也正因为此，本作剧情才显得格外可惜，距离优秀只差几步，却在每一个关键路口都选错了方向。在需要直面政治残酷时退回到少年漫的温柔；在需要让角色说出真心话时选择让他们闭嘴当谜语人；在需要相信玩家可以通过体验去理解世界时，选择了把所有答案用最啰嗦的方式说破。于是最终呈现在玩家面前的，是一段有着漂亮概念和庞大设定却在情感和思想上都显得异常空心的剧情。对一部自诩剧情驱动的动作RPG来说，这样的空心，比没野心和只想做爽游更让人失望，也更值得被苛刻地批判。

你说我把杂七杂八的时空穿越，家人情，世界末日，脑机，赛博军政府，黑深残啥啥全搅合在一块岂不是能打造世界第一最有深度剧本。再加上分两半加倍容量的情况下，我再给每部分赛点独占剧情，玩家岂不是要对我的超级双线剧本买爆。然后我为了让我的深度剧本从一开始不会被玩家猜到后续发展，把前面的伏笔全部扣掉，接着在中期塞入大量设定，如此超展开如此无法预测的命运的舞台岂不是神剧情。最后塞点牺牲，来个怅惘结局玩家不得全都嗷嗷哭。剧本创作已经像呼吸一样简单了，大纲剧情都这么有深度了，剧情细化我用公式化写法吧，哈哈，等着大卖吧😸

I really wanted to like this game, it is well made, and the combat is fun. But it has got some of the most absolutely infuriating storytelling I have ever seen. It just strings you along ENDLESSLY, and not in a good, tension-building way, either, but with fantastically stupid conversations and people failing at asking the simplest questions. You are just being milked for your game time with dialogue that makes Power Ranger villians look like strategic masterminds.

Person A : "You are my enemy and we fight now!"
Person B : "But why?"
Person A : "I won't tell you! There is no time for talk. >Insert ominous nonsensical hint.< Now prepare to die!"
Person B : "Oh, okay"

Person B : "I have these 27 clues here that spell out what is happening in bigass letters that are also on fire, but I just can't seem to connect the dots. Oh I know, I could ask A."
Person A : "I won't tell you for no reason! If you want to know you have to find out yourself!"
Person B : "Oh, okay."

I wish I was kidding. And this does not happen once or twice either, it's just standard mode of communication. It seems like the story isn't bad per se, either, but I just can't listen to this weaponised stupid anymore, I want it to EEEENNND.

I know how pyrokinetics make fire in this game. They rub their braincells together to generate heat. I mean, it's not like they are using them for anything else.
