Улучшенная Sakura Spirit по всем фронтам. Больше выборов, пусть и минимально влияющих хоть на что-то, чуть лучше арты, больше "серьёзности" повествования, пусть и сравнительно с играми той же серии. Типы персонажей тоже примерно те же, хоть и уменьшилось их количество.

В целом, такая же приятная игра на пару часов ненапряжённого чтения небольшой истории про Главного Героя, который нашёл друзей и, впоследствии, злодея, который тоже познал силу дружбы. Естественно, вперемешку с этти, не переходящего в хентай.

Sakura Angels is pretty underwhelming, even for a light ecchi romp. Having played “Sakura Beach,” I wasn’t expecting much, but the more ambitious plot really causes this game to collapse under its own weight.

Comparing the two games really illustrates the problems with Sakura Angels. A beach vacation is intimate; you wouldn’t notice or care if there was nothing going on in the background, and drifting from activity to activity feels completely natural. In an urban magical girl rom com, you notice the empty streets, empty classroom, and empty cafeteria. It feels so uncanny. Meanwhile, the plot has to juggle activity scenes and fight scenes, which already feel spread thin competing for time, but then there’s also boring exposition, repetitive inner monologues and empty dialogues querying and explaining the excuse plot.

It’s not the worst. Some of the CGs have good composition or dynamism. Love the one where the angels have fallen over each other in the middle of a fight. Unfortunately, the novel itself is just too unfocused to be as enjoyable as it should be as an ecchi that costs money. It somewhat feels like this takes place on a tokusatsu film set, and there’s a director with a checklist going, “Shower scene, kitchen scene, school scene, fight scene! Don’t forget the beach episode, go, go, go!” What should be fun often feels like a chore.

Now, if you’ll allow me, I feel the need to take off my serious reviewer glasses so that I may impart the undisputable truth that THESE WAIFUS ARE TRAAAAAASH. Not good trash, not a sexy hot mess, just straight GARBAAAAGE. This is the most stock ditz and tsundere pair imaginable, and this loser is supposed to be falling for them?! They get five pair CGs, and five solo CGs EACH?! And OBJECTIVELY BEST GIRL YUZUKI only gets four?! My depressed dark angel queen is STARVING over here!

If you’ve played Sakura Spirit, you already know the recipe. Sakura Angels is basically the same cocktail with a different flavor of anime cliché.

This time the setup leans more into fantasy/isekai vibes: heroines from another world show up to help the main guy against the forces of evil (witches, demons, magic nonsense… you know the drill). It’s a visual novel with a couple of routes/endings, but the “game” part is still minimal: read, pick a path, replay if you want more scenes.

Fanservice is the point: big boobs, big butts, the classic “oops clothes got torn”, shower scene, tentacle-ish stuff, and lots of “pressing bodies together” style teasing. But it stays on the same soft level as Sakura Spirit: very suggestive, very tame by adult-game standards. Even the shower scene plays it safe (angles, censorship, no nipples shown). It’s basically what you’d expect from a spicy-but-not-explicit anime VN.

Compared to Spirit, I’d say the art is still cute and colorful, but a bit less impressive overall. Also felt like there’s less gallery content, so completion hunters might feel it’s thinner.

Bottom line: good for fans of the franchise and soft manga erotica, but overpriced at full price. Like most Sakura titles, it makes sense in a bundle or on a deep sale.

Довольно неплохая работа. В отличие от предыдущих визуальных новелл разрабочика, здесь ощутимо больше выбора, хотя стиль и похож на Sakura Spirit. Персонажи всё так же приятные, музыка так же хороша. Сюжет посредственный, ну и ладно, зато есть лёгкая эротика, характерная для японского жанра этти. В целом, я доволен покупкой.

As expected from Sakura games:

- Relatively short

Had some laughs while reading and it brought a sense of nostalgia. Used to watch quite a few ecchi anime back in the day.

Sakura Angels is about 2 girls that protect Kenta, From shadow monsters.

Later on Kenta finds out that he has magical powers, that is needed to defeat the shodow queen.

The 2 main girls are the funny Sayaka, And the angry Hikari (and the Cute one)

I find this game short which is about 6 hours and additional hour to get the other side of the story

At the end of the game you can get 3 endings depending on your answers to the story.

I really enjoyed playing this, it has it's funny things in this game.

Also i love the fact that theres no nudity, only suggestive themes.

I wish there was another sakura angels, focused on Yuzuki.

I do recommend this game.

Вот эта новелла, уже намного лучше чем тот же sakura swim club, здесь сюжет намного выше уровня, сочные арты, сочные персонажи, сочный антогонист, сочный монстр, сочный обед у саяко, сочные сиси хикари, так еще это и фентези, я вообще в шоке, как можно было придумать такой классный сюжет
из минусов: 1) Не вижу огромного смысла рутов, потому что конец почти один и тот же, просто в концовке там кое что меняется, прям самую малость(чтобы без спойлеров). Можно было бы просто, чтобы игра была идельна, доделать руты, тоесть уже чтобы как полноценный рут в конце был, да чтобы хотябы они поцеловались незнаю, хоть чёто, на свидание там сходили, или еще что-то, тогда цены бы не было этой игре.

Одна з з перших ігор серії "Sakura" від Winged Cloud. Всі ігри цієї серії схожі між собою, якщо не рахувати деяких відмінностей в сюжеті, мають однакову зав'язку та розв'язку, що не заважає їм бути доволі цікавими. До того ж, проходження гри займає всього 3 години (можна і швидше, якщо ви краще знаєте англійську ніж я :) ). Загалом всім любителям аніме-дівчаток рекомендую)

steamで初めてノベルゲームを購入。
ノベルゲーム自体ほとんどプレイした事がありませんが、ここのレビューを読んで好評だったので買ってみました♪

ストーリーは、謎の敵から守ってくれる美少女2人とのラッキーイチャラブ物語ですね（？）

テキストは日本語で、イラストは可愛く綺麗でフルボイス！
スライム等の敵もコミカルに描かれていて、不快感がありません。
ストーリーも後味の良い結末なのもgood。

一部土砂降りのシーンで晴天の画像が使用されていますが、そこは脳内変換しましょう～。

値段も安いですし、天真爛漫マイペース＆優しいツンデレ美少女が好きな人にお勧めです☆彡

One of those visual novels that would be a lot better of with a little bit less boobs and a little bit more story.

The Linux version of it seems to be working fine but for some reason the text goes way too low down the screen where there is 4 lines of text to display, but I don't think that is a Linux specific issue.

The art is pretty good.
Animation effects is generally pretty bad.
The story is pretty bad.
The voice acting of the two main girls is ok. Voice acting of the other girls is poor.

If you have nothing else to play and you really want to see some cute waifus it could be ok. But I think most any other VN or decent game on Steam is going to be a better use of your time.

Sakura Angels is one of the first Visual Novels made by Winged Cloud. If you played any other Sakura title, then this is basically the same thing. Honestly, it's sad to see that after so many years they didn't improve even a little bit.
You can finish the game in ~2,5 hours. Unless you're a big fan of ecchi fan service (there's no "uncensored" patch), there's not much to see in this game. Just yet another bland VN.
I can't recommend it.

[b]Story[/b]
You're a high-school student, and also apparently a [spoiler]descendant of powerful mages[/spoiler]. Because of your blood, you're being haunted by an "old evil mage" and her monsters. Two beautiful angels come to the rescue and we fight some depressed "dark angel". Several dozen minutes later, we're on a journey to save the world.
Cliche after cliche. Everything, from story to characters is simply dull.
It's worth noting, that there are some choices here and there. Most of them don't matter though (only different dialogues).

[b]Visuals and Audio[/b]
Average backgrounds, great sprites, and solid CGs. Oh! Almost forgot - big boobs.
As usual with Sakura's, the music was boring. At least it wasn't annoying.
Every character is voice-acted (minus MC), and the quality of it was rather good.

[b]Technicalities[/b]
The music volume slider is useless. No matter what, the music will be way louder than everything else.

Скука. Абсолютная скука. Я не совсем понимаю, авторы пытались сделать ХЕНТАЙ в игре? Я видел только одно ЭТТИ. Патча на ХЕНТАЙ НЕТ! Не пытайтесь его найти! В обзорах других людей прочитал про это.

Сюжет меня не зацепил. Вообще никак не зацепил. В какой-то момент я просто начал перематывать его от скуки и не пожалел. Фоны красивые, но их маловато. Я, как обычно, купился на красиво нарисованных женских персонажей. Попытался дать ещё один шанс играм серии Сакура, но, увы, я больше их продукцию покупать не буду. Хотя чего я напрягаюсь русского языка официально нет в игре по сей день, хотя прошло 8 лет уже. Пришлось ставить сторонний перевод от энтузиастов.

Так как это одна из первых “Сакур”, то рисовка тут довольно слабенькая. Помимо слабой рисовки, сюжета в игре нет. В новелле хоть и есть выбор, но она линейная. Ну и, пожалуй, самый главный минус в том, что тут отсутствует не только контент 18+, но и патч 18+. Также очень расстроил тот факт, что в игре отсутствуют достижения, и “идеальной игры” в Steam не получить. Ну и в чём тогда смысл данной “игры”?

В игре нет русского языка, и для понимания происходящего вам понадобится базовое знание английского. На крайний случай существует русификатор. Как уже стало понятно, идеальной игры в Steam не получить. Ну хоть карточки есть, и можно апнуть 5-й уровень значка. Но фоны не особо красивые, так что их сразу на самоцветы.

Sakura Angels, the second Visual Novel by developers Winged Cloud, is another fan-service heavy story with a male protagonist and several normal and supernatural women around him. The protagonist this time is apparently a normal teenager when he gets attacked by a monster on his way to school. He is saved by two women who turn out to be angels and suddenly also appear in his school as classmates. Soon, a third woman enters the scene, apparently a demon or succubus, who has sent the monsters after the protagonist in the first place. Several flirts and some choices later, the game explores the theme of being ignored during teenage years, but falls flat doing so. Sakura Angels is not a deep game, but presents a bit more choice than Sakura Spirit and is slightly more engaging. Visuals are on the same level, and voice acting is available in Japanese. Despite this, Sakura Angels is still a very lacklustre way to spend time, and not a good Visual Novel at all.

Что я могу сказать? Сюжет-харош. Я не пожалел о тех 8-и часах что потратил на получение всех концовок и могу сказать что последняя концовка заставила меня напрячься в том кого и когда выбирать. Жалко что нет достижений чтобы хоть как-то отслеживать прогресс помимо галереи.
