Геймплей? Пять секунд — и ты уже не играешь, а просто молчишь, потому что мозг отключился.
Графика — чистый 2010-й: неон, чёрный фон, и твой куб, который выглядит, как будто его нарисовали в Paint под кислотой.
Минус: через минуту ты уже не человек — ты просто рефлекс.
Плюс: когда ты проходишь уровень без единой ошибки — это как если бы ты обманул смерть.Вердикт: 9/10. Запусти ночью, наушники на максимум — и почувствуй, как твоя жизнь превращается в один длинный "бум-бум-бум".
Интересная, но сложная. Учтите что ближе к последним уровням веселье может закончиться)
Впрочем, если что в игре есть довольно удобная система подсказок, так что лезть в интернет не придется.
Визуальный стиль на любителя. Есть зимние уровни которые открываются только в определенные даты, это минус.

I really wanted to like this game because the idea is great in a vacuum. It's a puzzle game where you have to navigate multiple flows of moving cubes to goals. You have the challenges of level layouts, command squares that change the cubes' trajectory, and the weaving of the flows. The problem (and I fully admit this will be more of a problem on a person to person basis) is that, at some point (and, for me, this was part-way through the MEDIUM courses, even), it becomes almost impossible to visualize in your mind. You can have general ideas, but, unless you somehow nail it on your first try (and good luck with that after the easy ones), rarely does it ever result in "OH, I see what went wrong" moments. Instead, it turns into a series of guessing and checking (which seems to only be supported by the infinite hints). Hell, a lot of the time I'd think I was making progress towards a solution, only to find that I wasn't even relatively close after using the hints. A lack of being able to eventually intuit the answers is the absolute death of a puzzle game for me. When I have to rely on guessing and checking, hints or, God forbid, guides for, like, half of the game, you've completely lost my interest. I'd recommend this only to people who are REALLY good at mental visualization, or you'll probably just end up frustrated.

After 13 years, i finally got around to finishing this game, and honestly I'm glad i did. it turned out to be a really clever puzzle game. The idea is simple: guide colored cubes to their exits using conveyors, warps, and other little tools. What starts easy quickly turns into this satisfying chain of cause and effect where everything needs to line up just right. It scratches that puzzle itch perfectly.
The presentation is clean and minimalist, which really fits the vibe. Each level looks like a small 3D model sitting on a table, and the calm music keeps you focused. It’s relaxing but still makes your brain work.
A thoughtful little puzzle game that’s easy to get lost in.

This game reminds you of the game EDGE, but instead of making the cube move diagonally in an annoying way, your job is to use arrow tiles to make the spawned cube move the way it was meant to be.. kinda cool in premise, but it became tiresome along the way.
By all accounts, this game should be good - it has interesting mechanics, nice visuals, runs smoothly on modern systems, and has no major bugs - but ultimately, it fails in the most important area: the gameplay is simply not entertaining.
The core idea is simple: guide cubes of different colors from their spawn points to their respective finish points using directional signs. And while you can control their path using signs, you cannot control their speed—and that speed varies wildly from level to level. Levels often involve cubes crossing paths, which leads to unpredictable collisions… unless you solve the puzzle exactly as the level designer intended, in which case the cubes conveniently avoid each other thanks to carefully tuned speeds.
This turns puzzle-solving into a lottery, which seriously hurts the engagement loop. If you succeed, it doesn’t feel rewarding - more like you just got lucky. If you fail, it feels unfair - your path may be logically sound, but the cubes collided simply because the designer had a different solution in mind and adjusted the speeds accordingly.
This unpredictability also makes mental planning ineffective. It’s nearly impossible to predict whether your solution will actually work - unless you try it. And if the cubes do collide, it's often very hard to understand what exactly needs to be changed to fix the timing.
To make matters worse, the game offers unlimited hints, allowing brute-force progression. There is simply no motivation to "solve" a puzzle, if your valid solution might randomly fail and hint spamming is always an option?
Rush was already hard enough on Medium, finishing medium felt like tutorial what is coming next, (Hard) brain refuses to think, and actual challananges idk what to tell, brain just leaves body?
Highly recommend this game to anyone who can think, it’s punishing, fair, and totally worth it.

Можно замедлять время и смотреть как ваше действия помогают двигаться кубам к месту финиша и исправлять свои недоработки.

[b]Summary:[/b] RUSH is a casual, level-based timing puzzle game. It's reminiscent of similar games on Steam (see, e.g. [i]Micron[/i]) as well as some old flash games. The primary mechanic involves placing arrows in left, up, right, and down directions on 3-dimensional grid to get blocks of each color from a source location to a destination. When you press "go", the blocks start to roll from the source. They also must not collide in their path from the source to the destination, which requires careful timing. The puzzle mechanics lead to diverse and challenging scenarios, especially getting into the Medium and Hard levels.
[b]Strengths:[/b]
- The puzzles are excellent and later on, they get reasonably difficult. I was pleasantly surprised by how some of the more tricky puzzle mechanics (hitting into walls, switching arrows, etc.) turned out to interact in nontrivial ways.
- The gameplay is pleasing to watch (though less so to listen to; see downsides below).
[b]Downsides:[/b]
- The primary mechanic which makes the game interesting -- the timing of when blocks collide -- is tricky to predict. There is a logic to it, but it is never explained in the tutorial or in the easy levels; I eventually figured it out through manual trial and error, by repeatedly pausing the game with "Esc" to understand how fast the blocks travel. For example, blocks move half a square when falling, and pause for specified amounts of time when hitting walls or turning (in some cases, though not normally when running into arrows). Since understanding block movement is crucial to solving some of the later levels, I will include a guide to the movement rules below.
- It would be nice to have some additional control options to help visualize, speed up, and slow down block movement (this would also help with the above).
- Some of the "Easy" puzzles could be seen as routine; basically they are like "connect the dots" challenges to get from the source to the destination, especially when given only the arrows and not some of the other mechanics.
- The ambiance (robotic voice overlay and rhythmic sounds) are a little tiresome.
[b]Guide to Block Movement:[/b]
Based on my own observations:
- Blocks move around and are generated at discrete timesteps. There is typically a difference of 4, 5, 6, or 8 timesteps between blocks from the same generator, and 0, 1, or 2 timesteps between blocks of different generators.
- Moving one square horizontally takes 1 timestep.
- Falling one square takes about [i]half[/i] a timestep.
- Blocks always collide if they would end up on the same square at the same time. They will not collide if at distance at least 2 apart. They usually collide if at distance 1 apart (i.e., one block exits while one block enters the same square), the exception to this being if the two blocks are moving in exactly the same direction.
- Hitting an direction arrow changes direction without costing any timesteps.
- Hitting a sliding arrow changes direction without costing any timesteps; however, coming [i]off[/i] the sliding arrow costs 1 timestep to stop.
- Hitting a wall changes direction and costs an additional 2 timesteps. (Even though right turns are favored, the delay is the same regardless of the degree of the turn, e.g. 90 degree turn vs 270.)
- Hitting a stop sign also costs 2 timesteps.
- Going through a warp point costs 2 timesteps.

RUSH es un juego indie de puzzles que te mantendrá entretenido por unas cuantas horas.
He de admitir que en Steam he jugado a otros juegos de puzzles que me han parecido más adictivos que éste, pero en general el título ralla a buen nivel en todos sus apartados técnicos.
No adolece de ningún punto claramente negativo a destacar, pero en mi opinión es un juego simplemente entretenido, que no llega a enganchar como sí lo hacen otros juegos de este género.
En total, te esperan unos 76 niveles diferentes. Seguramente los disfrutes hasta finalizar el nivel de dificultad media, avanzando tranquilamente por los diferentes retos, pero empieces a desesperarte realmente con los niveles de dificultad difícil. Entre eso, y los diferentes y variados logros que presenta, pasarás una cuantas horas de lo más entretenido.
No es un imprescindible, y hay varios títulos más adictivos del género en la biblioteca de Steam. Toki Tori, que es otro título de la misma desarrolladora (Two Tribes), es un claro ejemplo. Sin embargo, es bastante recomendable si eres amante del género, por su buena calidad técnica en general y por ser bastante retador.

Decent Puzzle game, confusing at times due to camera not allowing to see in different angles.
If you love puzzles, this is a good one, otherwise i'd recommend looking for other type of stuff since it can be somewhat frustating to someone like me(though you can always use the hint system which lets you finish if you have trouble doing them, however to me was like the ultimate option and let me feel defeated xd)

For the price, I easily recommend. The simple rules and tools and low stakes- there isn't even a Game Over screen I've found yet, making a mistake just stops the cubes rolling and lets you edit your placements- allow an easy feeling to survey and put things down at your leisure. The successful sending of cubes to their respective end goals is highly fulfilling, as are the bright indicators of winning the puzzle.
The world is very impressive. Long before the minecraft craze ever began, I loved the thought of a world where simple land-learning shapes have life and function, and despite this being 100% gameplay with no story, details like the smoothness of the movements, tiny little facets of how the cubes bump around, the structure of the BG of each puzzle, and even things like what seems like a whale made of cubes swimming by give this weird and wonderful feeling like one's stepped into a world of living block that plays by mod-kinly yet sunder rules, and whatever fantasy disaster most games' stories would demand is already taken care of and you're a tourist there as a guest for puzzle-solving fun.

My main heads-up is that there are some missing indicators at every level. The level select feature doesn't mark the levels you've already beaten; the alternating direction button doesn't have a little light or anything to show you which direction it's going to send the next cube; and, coming back to level select, nothing but the shape of the landscape you'll be working with and a catchy name is used to tell one puzzle from another. If you're sharp enough of eye and mind that this is plenty enough to make them stand asunder from each other, I envy you.
That, and if you're like me, your brain might need some time to grip the tools and their workings before you can really nestle into it. That, granted, is mostly meant for fellow folk who want to learn puzzle solving despite it not being a strength of ours.
A satisfying programming puzzle game with a few secrets, collectables and alternative solutions to work through for those who want the extra challenge.
The tiles are easy to setup and change with different limits each level on what is available to use helping narrow down the possible paths. Some levels might click into place immediately because of it while others can suddenly become extra challenging instead, making a trial and error approach the better option for figuring out the spacing or timing required.
Another cool puzzle game from Two Tribes. Just as good as the others in a completely different way.

Perfect Game #21, RUSH. A pretty difficult yet satisfying puzzle game. The harder levels will have you thinking for a while, but the payoff of watching the cubes march to their exits without any mistakes is so worth it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking to give your brain a workout.

The general gameplay revolves around getting your cubes to the goal point using different types of pads, that change the direction of the cubes. Puzzles get very difficult, very quickly and the solutions are always clever. The hint system is helpful, as if you get stuck on a puzzle for too long, you can just see several hints for the puzzle to help you.
Part of the reason is the awful camera. Not only is it a pain, but at times it’s almost impossible to see part of a level. What’s more of a problem, though, is that Rush just isn’t fun to play. The graphics of Rush aren’t too good either. It’s not that graphics are this important in this kind of game, but they look horribly garish. The soundtrack is awful, meaning you’ll turn the volume off unless you want to be driven crazy.

This game is a huge brain twister. It's fun to pick up and play. It's not perfect though, some puzzles are WAY too unclear on how you're supposed to do them. Thank god for the hint system. If it didn't exist I don't think I would be able to clear at least half of the puzzles. Ok yes I know the puzzles are meant to be hard, and they do a great job at doing that, but a handful of them are way too unclear for me to figure out. Still a great game though, especially since it was made by Two Tribes, who ported EDGE on Steam.

This game is for you If you like a few hours of (mostly) fun puzzles.
For me the fun ended after about five hours when I had finished all the medium puzzles and some of the hard ones. At this point you need to understand the timing of all the cube movements. This would be fine if the game conveyed this information better. But I found it hard to tell what is going to happen from the animation of the cube dispensers. So I ended up randomly rearranging otherwise possible solutions until I hit the right timing -- that did not feel like actually solving the problem. Figuring out the possible solutions was fun, rearranging them for the right timing was not. Well, not for me anyway.
Not all puzzles suffer from this and sometimes the situation is clearly symmetrical, making it possible to reason about the timing. But at some point the difficulty ramp up is mostly due to the hard-to-predict timing issues. At which point I lost interest.
Fun little puzzle game with some unique elements.
Rush is a fun little puzzle game in which you need to transport cubes to their destination. You got easy levels, normal levels and hard levels.
The goal is to transport a series of cubes to the end goal, in which they can travel freely through a three dimensional shape with different layers. You got a series of signs at your disposal, which you need to place strategically, to control the direction in which a certain cube is heading. Cubes bounce off against walls and will always go to the right after that.
You can have multiple colors of cubes in a level, each which their own end point. The cubes can collide with each other, after which you need to rethink the set paths and try again.
You got arrow signs, which you, obviously, use to control the direction of the cubes. You got green roundabout signs, which let the cubes go in the opposite direction. There are stop signs, which you use to let the cube wait for the movement of one square, before moving on, and different conveyor belt tiles, which let the cubes slide over them instead of tumbling over like they normally would. Not all signs have to be used in a stage, and finding the right solution to a puzzle can be done in various way, letting you experiment with them.
There are some bonus stages, which you unlock by completing all the other levels. There are also five hidden levels, which are displayed as tiny models floating in space, in several locations, like the level select screens and the main menu itself. It’s really cool.
Rush looks fine enough. It got some nice backgrounds and moving objects for decoration. The main playing area is a blend white shape in which the start and endpoints are displayed. The cubes themselves have popping colors, making it easy to see what you are doing against the white model and background color. The only thing I do not understand that well, is way some levels let the cubes go in a very slow manner, while other stages move the cubes at a thousand miles per hour. I thought it was something with 3D acceleration but I am not sure.
The sounds and music in Rush are fine. They give a futuristic and robotic vibe, like you are playing a game in outer space.
There is a small issue in which the camera cannot reach a certain gap between the layers of the map, making it hard for you to place your signs between them because you cannot see the depth that clearly. Overall, this is not that big of a deal.
My only problem with this game was the time bound events and levels. There are two of them, as part of some sort of special holiday event. These two levels are only available in December, forcing me to change the time and date on my PC (which made me look like some sort of hacker), just so I could play them. Even then, the “Santa’s Little Helper” levels, which are four easy levels, three medium levels and one hard level, only randomly appear. I was staring at my screen with no life left in my eyes, until one of the levels finally marked itself as a “event themed level” by adding a hard to see snowflake behind its 3D model.
In the end, I liked Rush. It is challenging, looks fine enough and offers a nice distraction from the violence in other video games. It can be a little hard, frustrating and time consuming, but that is the charm of this little puzzle game.
Recommend it to everyone.
Eu sou um pai de 45 anos, provavelmente uma das pessoas mais velhas a jogar este jogo. Sou pai solteiro criando meu filho, que agora tem 14 anos. Meu filho ganhou este jogo no Natal de 2021 de seu tio, então o instalamos em seu computador e ele começou a jogar. Até o final da semana ele tinha 24 horas neste jogo. Isso foi horrível para mim, pois já era difícil encontrar maneiras de passar o tempo com meu filho, pois ele está sempre com os amigos ou apenas assistindo ao YouTube. Então eu decidi fazer uma conta no Steam e pegar esse jogo para ver se eu poderia jogar ao lado dele. Eu comprei o jogo, escolhi minha skin e mundo e comecei a jogar, mas eu estava preso no que você deveria fazer. Pedi ajuda ao meu filho e ele organizou um jogo para eu participar. Adorei, pois foi o melhor momento que passei com meu filho desde que minha esposa morreu. Desde então, esse jogo aproximou eu e meu filho novamente e agora passamos um tempo juntos fora de casa também. Este jogo me lembrou que há diversão em tudo, e trouxe muitas lembranças felizes para mim e meu filho.
This is a block puzzle game.
Mechanics are simple: you place boards on the ground that will change the moving behavior of the cube so that it can reach the goal.
This simplicity in gameplay by no means makes it less challenging, I've spent ages on some levels just to realize I just had to shift the way I was thinking the problem.
Plot twists are a given on most levels.
The hidden stuff is also pretty fun to figure out.
After playing it through twice, one several years ago and one recently (banging my head against the wall all the same, since I forgot basically everything), I can say I'm very satisfied.

Fun 3D puzzle game. It takes a while to complete all the levels, especially if you wanna play the game without using any guide or walkthrough but the puzzles don't really get boring.

I'm usually a big fan of puzzle games, but this game felt more tedious than anything else. I was bored almost immediately, but I kept going incase it would get better, it didn't really. The concept sounds good on paper but it doesn't really work in practice, perhaps with more refined level design is could be decent.

I find this to be a very difficult puzzle game, but also not really fulfilling. I don't mind difficult puzzles, but this feels like an IQ test with half of the question missing.
The idea is pretty cool - you click play and blocks tumble out of the sky and start rolling in a given direction, usually off the side of the board and into the abyss. It's your job to reset, then place tiles that instruct those blocks how they should move in order to make them all reach their target destination. Blocks can fall in different places, be of different colours and fall at different tempos. Really good concept.
I found the puzzles difficult, I think because the solutions can be very convoluted. I am not sure if it's the difficulty that put me off, probably not because I do like challenges, I can't quite place my finger on it. I was 50/50 as to whether I'd try to get all the achievements and complete the game but I wasn't really having fun even when I finished a level. Solving a puzzle should make you feel like a genius but I more just felt relieved, so in the end I didn't bother to finish the game.
By the way, some of the achievements are a bit weird, not really related to being successful, but they're sort of quirky.
If you like really tough puzzle games and are looking for something totally different you might enjoy this.

Игра открывается с ошибкой и банально не работает у меня на Win 10. Выставлял совместимости, ничего не помогло.
Pretty refreshing game that I apparently got many years ago but never really played until now. It's simple enough to understand and there are plenty of levels to sift through. When you manage to get all the blocks in place it's pretty satisfying.
Once you're done half of the Hard section, things start feeling like a different game, however. It's pretty tough and honestly I had to use the hints a couple of times for those. It does kind of put a strain on you since for the most part you have to multitask lots of blocks and the camera is honestly not the greatest especially when some levels use some very tight angles, sort of like in Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker, except you could at least zoom in that game. There's quite a few more things to do after that and some interesting twists about Portal 2 I didn't know about, though the final and hidden stages are REALLY tough and I couldn't really complete them by myself after staring at them for so long.
The music is pretty nice and the visuals are simple enough without being distracting aside from the visibility issues later (I think it can get too bright on my display). Not a bad game to pick up on sale if you like these sort of puzzles, though I wouldn't really give the go-ahead for most people.
pretty boring and slow. puzzles are either very obvious or require fiddling with timing that is hard to predict. I made it into the medium puzzles, and hadn't yet run into any puzzles that were remotely interesting.

История у меня - как и у многих других.
Я покупал пак, с большой скидкой. Интересовала меня в этом паке в первую очередь Toki Tori, а пока я в нее играл вышла другая игра которую я долго ждал. И про RUSH я совершенно забыл, хотя головоломки люблю. И вот вчера, генератор случайных чисел (а именно так я выбираю, во что буду играть) указал мне на нее.
И оказалось что за те "копейки" за которые эта игра продается, можно получить десяток часов интересного и местами сложного геймплея. Задача - провести ряд кубиков от одной точки к другой. В нашем распоряжении указатели направления, блоки смены направления, блоки задержки и им подобные. Сделать это на одной плоскости? Не сложно. А вот когда уровни становятся трехмерными... приходится сильно подумать.
Довеском к этому идет совершенно ненапряжный саундрек, мягкая, не кидающаяся в глаза, графика и несколько вечеров медитативного поиска решения для уровня вам обеспечено.
И как же все-таки круто смотрятся 10-15 кубиков разных цветов, несущихся по полю не врезаясь друг в друга. Красиво.

I'm not going to lie, I really suck at this game. The only reason I could finish the game is because of the amazing built-in hint system. Usually, that would ruin someone's experience, but I feel this game is less about the journey and more about the destination. The delectable sound effects and stunning visuals make "solving" a puzzle feel so damn satisfactory that it's worth it to cheat.
EDIT: I came back and played through the entire game without using any hints on a new profile. It turns out that's a perfectly fine way to play too. It's very difficult, though. This is one of the harder puzzle games out there.
buy a rubik's cube
This game is one of the most innovative in terms of puzzle solvingg. Not just that it will leave you awe-inspired, a touch of GlaDoS and Portal is yet another appealing thing to make one stick to it. The sad part of these games is that you feel a little void from inside when you successfully finishes each and every puzzle but what went in through the minds of those who could even give a thought about the way you meander across the blocks in every level is ingenious to consider. Probably, one of the best block solver game I encountered which will pass down the generations to come.

A great, simple puzzle game! I'd recommend buying it on sale but if you're a fan of puzzle games you might even want to buy this at full price.

Loved playing this game way back in the day. Very satisfying to see everything work correctly.
Nice bit of casual puzzling - it's got some good mind-benders. At times you'll get yourself stuck and will have to take several steps back and reorient yourself. But you'll get there eventually.

Let's get something out of the way here; the game is 1$ full price. It's puzzle game. There's nothing groundbreaking about this game. However, if you like puzzle games and you put in about 30 minutes of this game (like i did at the time of this review) and have no interest to pick it up again, Your time for how little money you purchase this game for is worth it.
As for myself, I do plan on putting more hours onto it.

Went back through my dad's old steam library, and was pleasantly surprised by how neat this game was. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes puzzles, and I encourage you to not give in and click the hint button. Currently 3/4 done with a hintless playthrough, the actual challenges are really dang hard.
Decent puzzle game with a surprising amount of content (I went for 100% completion). However, in typical Two Tribes fashion the later levels get a bit ridiculous on the difficulty scale, to the point where they feel unsolvable or would likely take many hours and some lucky guesses to complete.
Luckily, the hint system alleviates a lot of the pain and I would say it's the game's saving grace. Overall I still recommend the game, especially the earlier levels are a lot of fun.

[h1]Le jeu[/h1]
Un casse-tête où il faut diriger des cubes d'un endroit à un autre. Les cubes se déplacent en ligne droite, et tournent à droite lorsqu'ils heurtent un mur. Pour les diriger, on pose au sol des flèches pour les rediriger, des ralentisseurs, des tapis roulants qui gardent la direction d'origine tout en déplaçant le cube, ... il y a un petit nombre d'option mais qui permettent de faire beaucoup de choses.
Niveau réalisation, c'est très épuré, du blanc pour les niveaux et des couleurs vives pour les cubes. Le son et la musique sont oubliables.
Il y a 3 niveaux de difficultés qui proposent une vingtaine de niveaux chacun, on peut choisir n'importe quel niveau dedans. La différence de difficulté entre les trois niveaux est clairement là. Les niveaux faciles et moyens portent bien leur nom. Les niveaux difficiles sont clairement un cran au dessus. Il est possible d'obtenir des indices si on ne sait pas trop comment s'y prendre sur un niveau. Les indices m'auront été nécessaires sur 3 niveaux, ainsi que pour terminer les deux derniers niveaux "challenge".
J'avoue que j'étais plutôt lassé sur la fin, le jeu ne m'ayant pas plus passionné que ça. Je ne saurais pas vraiment expliquer pourquoi, je n'ai pas de vrai reproches à lui faire, c'est plutôt un feeling général.
[h1]Rejouabilité, achievements[/h1]
Les achievements sont obtenus en finissant tous les niveaux et les niveaux cachés, quelques trucs amusants comme faire des boucles infinies avec les cubes sans jamais les amener à destination, ... il faudra probablement consulter un guide pour trouver les niveaux cachés par exemple. Le jeu prévient qu'ils existent quand on termine les niveaux "normaux" mais je n'avais aucune idée d'où chercher. Bref, uniquement de la réflexion pour les obtenir, pas de réflexes ou autre.

Le jeu n'est pas mauvais, mais je lui donne plutôt un "meh" qu'une vraie recommandation.
