O jogo esta bugando demais. Do nada a imagem congela, o jogo continua como se estivesse em segundo plano, e não volta.
Mesmo com as configuração mais baixas de gráfico, o erro persiste. Deletei o jogo por este motivo.
Jogo títulos como Star Wars, ou POE, ou até mesmo Undecember e isso não ocorre com estes jogos. Detalhe é que são mais pesados do que o Rune Scape.
Se o problema for corrigido, volto a jogar.

Multiple price increases in the past few months has the Runescape membership on par, or higher than, other AAA MMO's in the space, all to play one character on one game at a time, without the ability to make alts for Ironman or Hardcore on that same membership.
They're so focused on removing the things they deem as "problems" with the game, but aren't implementing fixes first. The game is in a weird limbo state where a lot of the band aids are being ripped off, but there's no immediate plan to address the content that was being band aided. Removal of Treasure Hunter was all a dog and pony show to make players feel like they were voting for something, when there was only one option to vote for, and the bar was so low for it to pass it was impossible for it not to.

RuneScape used to be a great game that valued loyalty since the “road to restoration” they have removed components of the game that were years old, removed content from people who have paid for a years membership at a time while they are still in their year without warning and restrospectively removed the grandfathered rate of membership for people daring to be loyal to them. Jagex cannot be trusted they backtrack on their word and don’t care who they upset so yourself a favour and look elsewhere for a game to lay
Subscription trash game. No game on the planet is worth that much. Games are either free, owned or ♥♥♥♥ off. Even after 20+ years the graphics are still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the objects in each map are still not instanced. Imagine paying more than $100 per year to play this dumpster fire of a game. lmao.
Unsubbed after the recent price hike, and given how they've treated players that were grandfathered in at better rates I can't imagine coming back to a game that shouldn't cost more than 5 a month.

I've been playing this game since 2009, when it was only available through the website, in the internet browser.
Not wanting to be nostalgic, but this made me rethink how the game has changed, and how nowadays everything is more "paid for" than it used to be. Even talking about a couple months back, before they increased even more the price of the membership.

We should choose what we pay for. Players shouldn't foot the bill for dragon wilds (not included-devs are)

Highly disappointed
Firstly, I understand why the recent reviews for this would be leaning towards bad or mixed, due to the membership price increases. I cannot speak on the quality of the content now VS how it used to be.
However, what I can speak on is how the game feels for a first time player who has not long passed 100 hours. I'm an MMO veteran, with 20+ years on WoW and 10,000s of hours across other MMOs over the years such as Guild Wars 2, Wildstar, Rift, City of Heroes etc etc.
And from that perspective I can absolutely recommend this game. Hitting my 30s in the last couple of years was strange for my "gaming life", discord servers with friends that were once full are now barren and I get a couple of nights per week with friends, if that. And I found myself falling out of love with gaming in truth. That was until one friend finally mentioned runescape one random week day evening and after two decades of denying him I finally caved and downloaded it. And it may well have been one of the best gaming decisions of my life.
I know I am playing the QoL'd "quick" version of RuneScape, but compared to the games I had some from it is perfectly paced, so much slower and far more relaxing than any game I have been playing of late. That way skills progress feels earned and worth while. I love that I want to do "thing a" but in order to that I need to do "thing b, c and d", so you look into "thing b" and realise you need to do "thing e and f" and so it goes on, and you find yourself having set out to slay a dragon but instead need to slaughter chickens for their feathers to make arrows.
I don't know if this review has much substance outside of personal anecdotes, but what I am trying to say is despite the backlash from long term players, which may well be justified, if you are looking to explore this game with fresh eyes for the first time, then I cannot recommend it enough. It has rejuvenated my love for gaming and sent me down a rabbit hole of what I am calling, "proper games" to play, instead of the modern AAA snoozefest.
In a world of instant gratification, endless scrolling and brain rot. Escape to RuneScape.. even if it is RuneScape Lite.
10/10 Recommend and will continue to give 1000s of hours to this brilliant game, that is clearly crafted by people who love it.
Best free MMO-RPG ever, faster easier relaxing and more welcoming than oldschool runescape version. I played free content only, but still have fun and joy. Don`t listen to people who claim that game is dead, bad or ugly. Sure oldschool is better with new updates content and fixes. But RS3 still worth try for a few hours. Plus developers finnaly fixing major problems,ugly pay2win and trouble. Now is best time to play it.
Runescape though steam is the worst of them all.
When youy close the game, steam is pending for hours for closing it. You'll have to force exit Steam entirely to close Runescape fully. Just use the Jagex launcher. Alot more stabel

I've been playing OSRS for 20 years and I am just now trying out rs3! Am I enjoying the actual game? Yes! I actually like most of the additions and the graphics are brighter. However, the main thing for me is how empty it feels. It feels dead alot of the time because of the lack of players. I still prefer OSRS overall, but rs3 might be growing on me lol

Jagex gave up on rs3, telling you pay2win is gone is a lie, you can still buy xp stars. (they probly were forced remove the gamble mechanic and told the community they did it for us.)

Honestly they killed the game I loved. I loved RuneScape 3 because of how different it was from OSRS. I loved how bright and colorful and different it was. I played as a nonhuman Eagle but would also play as a shark with the Fishing mastery costume. Well, they have been making a ton of changes to try and "revive" RuneScape 3 and changed the shark costume to this BORING ass costume, because Jagex thinks anything that isnt "human" isnt like RuneScape. Actually, I dont want to play as a freaking human.
Changes like this have been forced on the community. Along with other changes, they basically have changed the entire game because they thought the P2W lootboxes were the reason RS3 is not popular. No...this was not the case. Ive never understood why everyone complained about keys when you could literally earn them for free. Well they took that away, and they took away all the things that made AFKing easier. They in the last few months have taken away SO much of what I enjoyed about RS3 because they are doing this last ditch effort of trying to revive the game.
What they are basically doing is pushing away all the long time players who liked the old system, trying to invite new players in. Looking at steam charts, its had zero effect, and I think thats because they have pushed away players and invited new ones in, but havent gained many new ones because they are pushing away players like myself. I LIKED Proteans; they made Double XP fun chatting and afking with others. Sure, you could argue it wasnt as "legit" as OSRS grinding, but really all that means is pressing a few more buttons. There isnt much to gain anyway.
They had this complete BS "survey/poll" where if 100k people said YES to deleting Treasure hunter, they would delete it. They didnt allow a NO, they said if you wanted to vote NO just dont say yes. This is such a stupid, stupid way of doing things. I guess there was a law getting passed about loot boxes, so rumor has it they HAD to delete it, but the way they did it was a joke. Not allowing the community to truly vote was a joke. TBH ive never understood what was so hated about treasure hunter...you could literally avoid it. Plus it gave me an excuse to log in daily. Now thats gone and they have taken so many things away that I have no need to log in anymore. Whats so funny about all this is they STILL allow you to buy XP, you just buy it directly, and at a MUCH higher price now! LOL
Beyond that, they announced they are upping the price AGAIN for subscription. Honestly I cannot recommend this company Jagex. They seem to do whatever they want and I do not feel heard at all as a long time player. I didnt like the removal of TH, the removal of proteans and portable skilling stations...i loved all of those things. They made double xp such an event; i loved chatting and skilling. Call it dumb idc...they have taken away the game I loved. They have replaced it with OSRS 3. Truly sad tbh
The performance is terrible on modern machines for a game that I used to play in 2005 in my web browser. Most of the content is locked behind a $15/month/character membership. I picked this back up for nostalgia, but if you're new you are better off playing something modern. Since the recent price hike, I will probably move on when my sub is back up for renewal.
Jogo RuneScape desde que só existia Internet Explorer e precisávamos baixar o Java, baixar e atualizar em uma internet de 1MB. É um jogo fantástico, na minha opinião o seu maior ponto positivo é a lore/quests, que são de um nível de qualidade absurdo. Se eu tivesse que escolher o ponto negativo, não seria nem especificamente do jogo, mas sim a Jagex, que está deixando o RuneScape inviável financeiramente para o brasileiro pagar o membro.
Jogo desde 2012, tenho mais de 3K horas contando fora da Steam, e não vou jogar mais, simplesmente quase dobraram o valor da assinatura nos últimos 2 anos, antes por 12 meses pagava 265 no total, agora tá mais de 400. Impráticavel, e a versão gratuita não te oferece quase nada. Fica aqui minha avaliação negativa como protesto.

Played on and off over the past 22 years. Loads of content. Game has had some negative content, but the positives far out way. Have appreciated the recent stance the developers have taken to get away from easy and buyable xp and back to its roots of what made it great.
Waste of time game. No skills involved, just how much free time you can waste. Community full of liberal cryptor racists and scumbags. Also too many old folks in this game.

jogo é muito completo em todos os sentidos que se espera de um MMORpg, os gráficos parecem estar bem melhor do que já foi, com a nova att.
Gosto da camera do jogo e movimentação. O sistema de batalha também me agrada, embora eu ainda ache um pouco complexo configurar as barras de atalho.
O sistema de craft é muito interessante e a animação também ta linda nesse ponto
Gosto da quantidade de quests e quests secretas. Na verdade o jogo é tão vasto de conteúdo que você perde horas/dias fazendo apenas um conteúdo.
Gosto muito desse lance de você não ter classe e upar a "skill" espada, arco, escudo, etc...
PONTOS NEGATIVOS (que podem melhorar)
já que terminei os pontos positivos falando sobre a liberdade de você upar a skill que quiser, ser o que quiser, vestir o que quiser... me incomoda um pouco que tenha quests ou situações que te obrigam a ter lvl alto de uma skill que você não gostaria de upar por achar que é perder tempo... isso tira o doce da boca da criança, que vocês mesmo deram...
me incomoda muito que tenham aumentado o valor do jogo para o Brasil, que ja era considerado um valor médio para MMORpgs no brasil, agora estou considerando um jogo caro. Entendo que é a forma do jogo obter alguma receita, até pra investimentos futuros em atualizações. Mas para o Brasil ficou caro...
Minha sugestão para que consigam abaixar a mensalidade do membro, é que foquem mais % da receita de vocês voltado para venda de skins, cosméticos, visuais, sem atributos... de repente traria mais novos players, ainda mais agora com essa nova att.
Outro ponto negativo que me incomoda MUITO é o fato de existirem varios servidores para varios países... cara esse jogo tem números maravilhosos de players, imagina como seria se todos jogassem juntos no mesmo servidor, disputa por recursos, por spots, por mobs específicos... seria lindo e fico FRUSTRADO quando penso nesse potencial desperdiçado em prol de se pagar mais barato em servidores menores divididos... e o pior, ainda são lagados mesmo assim, com 200 players on. não consigo ver uma justificativa plausível para esse desperdício.
No geral o jogo ta lindo, ta divertido, você perde horas do seu dia e nem percebe!
Don't have much complaints because, I already know how typical Jagex is. It did get laggy on me, I understand this isn't supported. But if it works on my laptop, then I'm happy. Though I wish the reactivate account email went to my dad, it did not and he sadly lost his long running account. He's been on RS for years. PS. I recommend this if you use the same OS as me. It's also up to you rather you choose to play RS or Not.

Literally, I've had membership for nearly 20 years.
Jagex recently chose to bait-and-switch some of its most loyal customers, who elected to pay for a Premium annual membership to lose a previously-promised "Grandfathered" monthly membership rate. They did it by rebranding the annual membership and converting it to a recurring subscription.
They did it without notice and have refused to address the way they handled it to the community.
I wish I could recommend this game, but I cannot anymore because it's impossible to trust the company anymore.
Edit: note, I only have 2500 hours on Steam playing, but I have over 10,000 hours total played.

Always loved runescape usually always something to do for anyone.... what i don't enjoy is how annoying and long of a process it is to cancel a subscription with Jagex. Literally had to go through 8 different pages just to confirm and cancel. Stop over complicating things and let poeple do what they need to on there account from one or two pages not 8...
If you're falsely banned because some dude decided to give you 5million out of the blue your progress is forever reset permanently.

Eu sempre achei esse jogo bem legal, apesar de eu ter jogado mais em 2006-2012 por aí, também joguei entre 2015-2020. O jogo é gratuito, uma parte dele, mas o jogo completo é na versão membro (por mensalidade). Você fica livre pra explorar o mundo nesse jogo, upar habilidades de combate como magia, necromancia, arquearia e não combate como mineração, corte de lenha, artesanato, etc, fazer missões, que não são baseadas em simplesmente matar uma quantidade de bichos, as quests aqui tem historia, inclusive várias delas nem precisam de combate. O pvp do jogo basicamente não existe aqui (se quiser algo do tipo tente a versão old school), o end game e o meta do jogo por assim dizer é pve. Mas para qualquer tipo de conteúdo em grupo no geral você vai ter que ir nos mundos ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ em inglês porque é lá que as pessoas se reúnem pra fazer essas coisas (pode trocar de mundo livremente).
Recentemente eles aumentaram muito o valor dessa mensalidade (dobraram o preço), então não acho que está valendo muito a pena jogar pelo preço que está. Pelo preço atual de quase 500 reais no ano (que é a opção mais barata, por mes ficaria uns 50) eu acho melhor comprar um jogo pra jogar, ou até mesmo pagar outro jogo de mensalidade tipo WoW por exemplo.
Vale lembrar que também é possível comprar esse membro com dinheiro do jogo, mas não é algo que alguém que está iniciando vai conseguir devido ao preço do item. Se for um personagem mais upado (high lvl) é possível se sustentar no membro só comprando com dinheiro do jogo, mas se não for o caso, vai ter que comprar com dinheiro mesmo pelo menos no começo. No momento da análise um iniciante no gratuito vai levar +/- 14 dias pra comprar o item se jogar pelo menos umas 5h por dia, e levando em consideração que o item só dá 14 dias, eu não vejo um clt jogando sem pagar por todo esse tempo, até porque isso é só o tempo pra pagar o membro e não pra ele jogar e fazer o que quiser.
Resumindo, eu acho válido jogar o jogo pra testar pelo menos, aproveitar que é "grátis", e você pode se divertir jogando por um tempo. Felizmente o jogo gratuito tem uma quantidade bem razoável de conteúdo, mas sinceramente, fora isso eu não vejo algo de bom pra falar. No meu ponto de vista o preço está inviabilizando totalmente o jogo, mas cada um é livre pra gastar com o que quiser, então se você testou, gostou e está disposto a pagar ou tem tempo pra ficar jogando e pagar seu membro, tudo bem se divirta.

Rising subscription costs ($200/year for bonds) combined with a neglected F2P experience and broken client defaults make this harder to recommend every day. Jagex is prioritizing profit over the O.G. community that built this game. Until basic quality-of-life and fair pricing return, my rating stays at 1 star.

Logging into RuneScape always feels like stepping into a huge sandbox where I can basically decide what kind of adventure I want to have that day. Some days I’m questing and exploring new areas, other days I’m just grinding skills, trading items, or messing around with other players. The game has been around for a long time, and that history really shows in the sheer amount of content packed into it.
One thing I noticed pretty quickly is how open the progression feels. Instead of pushing me down a strict path, RuneScape just throws me into the world and lets me choose what I want to focus on. I can level combat, train crafting skills, fish, mine, cook, or spend hours completing quests with their own stories and puzzles. That freedom is honestly one of the game’s biggest strengths.
The skill system is what really keeps me coming back. Watching levels slowly climb and unlocking new abilities or items gives that classic MMO sense of progress. It can definitely be grindy at times, but there’s something satisfying about setting a goal, like reaching a certain skill level, and slowly working toward it.
Quests are another highlight for me. Unlike many MMOs where quests are mostly simple fetch tasks, RuneScape often treats them like small adventures. Some involve puzzles, humor, or interesting storylines that actually make them memorable instead of just being a checklist.
Visually, the game has improved over the years but still shows its age in some places. Some areas and models look great, while others feel outdated compared to modern MMOs. It creates a bit of an uneven presentation, though it never really ruins the experience.
Combat can also feel a little clunky depending on how I play. The system has evolved over time, and while it works well enough, it sometimes lacks the fluid feel of newer MMORPG combat systems. Still, once I get used to it, it becomes part of the game’s identity.
What really keeps RuneScape interesting is the community and the amount of things to do. Whether I’m grinding skills, trading in the marketplace, exploring the world, or just chatting with other players, there’s always something happening. It’s the kind of MMO that doesn’t try to rush me, it just lets me exist in the world at my own pace.

CPU spikes while loading objects and GPU utilization spikes when nothing is happening (Witcher 3 on max is butter smooth) seriously ruin an experience, all actions are laggy with 92 ping, occasional crashes, sub is pricey. Other than that decent grinding game.

This game is not worth the price of entry, and will leverage your addiction to extract wealth from you. Want to play with friends? Double the price. Want to try a gimmick account? Triple it. 30k+ hours lifetime across both games. Stay far, far away if you can help it.
I have around 3500 hours in this game spanning from 2007 to now. I have taken multiple 3 or 4 year breaks and have come back multiple times. If you love the grind and watching your skills and xps go up this is a great game. Since its been around for 25 years there are 10000s things to do. If you get bored of one thing go grind something else. I logged 12 hrs today alone, got some harmonic dust from the harps in prif then got bored and went to the uncharted isles for a little then went back to the harps and finished making potions for money. With the hundreds of quests and ~30 skills you can play this game for a long time. The game is super easy to drop and pick back up where you left off with the use of the wiki. Ill play again for a couple months then not for another year.
For all the hate it gets, this game is actually great. I grew up playing it and would pop in from time to time for nostalgia's sake. Once they made the decision to remove microtransactions, I decided to come back. I've been having a blast getting back into it.

Pagar em BRL virou um pesadelo. A Jagex perdeu completamente o contato com a realidade ao impor esse aumento brutal na assinatura. É uma punição direta aos jogadores antigos e leais. so, this game is actually kiinda good, key word: kinda its not fun if you are a free player and its unheathy addictive and its kinda buggy

i use to love this game played it since 2004 when my friend introduced me now its not worth it with how much it costs for membership for the same price i could play world of warcraft it use to be fun but now its not worth the money
